A Single #2 Pencil Outsmarts the Entire Progressive Movement

This is a pencil. There isn’t a single person in the world who could make this pencil.

The wood from which it was made came from a tree cut down in the state of Washington.

To cut down that tree, it took a saw.

To make that saw, it took steel.

To make that steel, it took iron ore.

The black center of the pencil, which we call ‘lead’, is actually made from compressed graphite.

It comes from mines in South America.

The eraser, made from rubber, most often originates in Malaysia.

The rubber tree wasn’t native to Malaysia. It was imported from South America by businessmen with the help of the British government.

The brass fairing that holds the eraser probably came from the Midwestern United States, where computerized machine tools stamp, roll, finish and convey them.

And at each step, inexpensive and clean fossil fuels have underpinned the growth of these industries.

The yellow paint, the glue that holds it together… literally thousands of people cooperated to make this pencil.

People who don’t speak the same language. Who practice different religions. Who might hate one another if they ever met. When you visit a store and buy this pencil, you are — in effect — trading a few minutes of your time for a few seconds of time from all those thousands of people.

What brought them together and induced them to cooperate to make this pencil?

There was no “Pencil Czar” sending out orders from Washington. It was the magic of the free market. The impersonal operation of a market system that brought them together and got them to cooperate to make this pencil, so that you could have it for a few pennies.

That is why the free market system is so important to our society. It fosters harmony, cooperation and peaceful interactions between the peoples of the world.

How many of the Democrats’ oft-vilified “millionaires and billionaires” were created as this pencil came into existence? Do the employees of the steel mill care? The saw manufacturer? The buyer of the pencil? Of course not.

In the formulation of the hard left Democrat party, the manufacture and distribution of pencils would be administered by a “Czar” and a centralized, federal agency. A few masterminds, like Biden’s “Disinformation Council” or Obamacare’s “health advisory board”, would try to manage and control thousands of voluntary, individual interactions. And we know from history that it simply can’t be done.

We must call the Democrats’ incessant drive for centralized government — and their class-warfare rhetoric — what it is: a cheap new branding of the old Marxist philosophies, i.e., “Progressivism”.

It is just a different name for the same failed ideology that spreads misery, poverty and repression where ever and when ever it is has been implemented.

The modern Democrat Party should be called what it is: the party of Marx. The Party of Unconstitutionality. The Party of Economic Misery and Failure. And mainstream Democrat Marxism must be stopped — quickly — if this Republic is to survive.

Trump Responds to Musk’s Hunter Biden ‘Twitter Files’ as Liberals Melt Down

Former President Trump gave his thoughts on Elon Musk’s release of ‘Twitter Files’ that exposes the social media platform’s attempt at suppressing a story and intervening in the 2020 election.

Using his own social media platform, Truth Social, Trump argued that the bombshell tweets proves that Americans are living in a very corrupt country.

“Wow! That’s a really big story about Twitter and various forms of government Fraud including, specifically, Election Fraud,” Trump wrote, adding “the same level of Fraud took place with the other Big Tech companies, if not even worse (if that’s possible?)… we are living in a VERY CORRUPT COUNTRY &, AS THEY ARE SAYING ALL OVER THE INTERNET, ‘NOTHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT IT BECAUSE THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT & FBI ARE TOTALLY CORRUPT.’ But they’ll keep investigating ‘boxes’ that were legally & openly taken from the W.H.”

The next morning, Trump went back and commented further on the revelations.

“So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION?” Trump wrote, adding“a Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution…our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”

Rachel Levine Calls on Doctors to Become ‘Ambassadors’ to Normalize Transgenderism

The Biden Administration’s Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine called on doctors to serve as “ambassadors” in the attempt to normalize transgenderism.

Levine, a man who identifies as a woman, remarked “I encourage all of you to think of yourself as ambassadors to your communities, ambassadors for science,” as well as for “compassion” and for “care.”

“These conversations don’t need to be limited or restricted to a medical setting,” Levine added.

“Offer yourselves as informational resources not just for youth but for school teachers, principals, school boards, professional organizations, recreation centers, county commissioners, and others who would benefit from this information and your perspective,” Levine noted. Secret Service: Chinese Hackers Stole Millions in Coronavirus Benefits

The Secret Service recently disclosed that hackers linked to the Chinese Communist Party stole at least $20 million in coronavirus relief benefits.

While it is known that theft of state unemployment funds related to the Chinese coronavirus was committed, this is the first time the U.S. government has publicly acknowledged that thievery was also committed by foreign, state-sponsored cybercriminals, according to a report by NBC News.

The Secret Service said that Small Business Administration loans and unemployment insurance funds experienced theft of taxpayer funds in over a dozen states. Law enforcement and cybersecurity experts added that the theft committed by this hacking group — known as APT41 — may be the tip of the iceberg.

Jane’s Revenge Allegedly Threatens to Kill Pro-Lifers at Omaha Churches

Threatening letters allegedly written by members of the radical pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge were sent to two churches in Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday, Fox News Digital reported.

On Saturday afternoon, the first note was discovered taped to the St. John Paul II Newman Center near the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s Scott Campus. The Catholic-affiliated center serves as a housing facility and community space for UNO students.

“If our right to abortion in Bellevue is taken away due to the attempt to pass an abortion ban and it gets passed we will shoot up your Newman Center with our new AR-14 rifles. Sincerely, Jane’s Revenge,” the note to the Catholic center allegedly read.

The letter, which was addressed to the Newman Center director, Rev. Dan Andrews, was discovered by Students for Life members. The group’s president, Kristan Hawkins, posted a photograph of the threatening note on social media.

Hawkins wrote that the group of pro-life activists was meeting at the center over the weekend to “strategize about how to use @studentsforlife’s Campaign for Abortion Free Cities to shut down the late-term abortion facility in the state.”

Restaurant Refuses to Serve Customers Because They’re Pro-Life, Pro-Family

The head of The Family Foundation of Virginia is reporting that a Richmond restaurant abruptly canceled the group’s reservation for a meeting room and meals because the group is pro-life and pro-family.

In a column at The Federalist, Victoria Cobb explained the cancellation by Metzger’s Bar and Butchery, which “refused to service our pre-reserved event,” left her group “scrambling.”

“The intolerant leftist mob is coming for Christians everywhere, and we were just the latest target in the way this past Wednesday night,” she explained.

“For weeks, we had planned a gathering in a private room to fellowship and update supporters on our work. About an hour and a half before the event was set to take place, one of the restaurant’s owners called our team to cancel. An employee had looked up our organization, and their wait staff refused to serve us.”

Michael Avenatti Slapped With Massive Prison Sentence

A federal judge in California sentenced disbarred attorney Michael Avenatti to 14 years in prison Monday for wire fraud and a tax offense.

Avenatti pleaded guilty in June to four wire fraud counts for embezzling money from clients and one count of endeavoring to obstruct the Internal Revenue Code’s administration for obstructing and impeding IRS efforts to collect payroll taxes, including taxes withheld from employees of the company he owned that ran Tully’s Coffee. U.S. District Judge James Selna sentenced him to 14 years in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.

“In imposing the 14-year sentence, U.S. District Judge James V. Selna ordered that Avenatti’s term of imprisonment run consecutive to sentences totaling five years previously imposed in two federal cases in the Southern District of New York,” the office said.

Avenatti received a four-year prison sentence in June for wire fraud and identity theft for stealing $300,000 of revenue from his former client Stormy Daniels’ book “Full Disclosure,” having already been sentenced to 30 months in prison in June 2021 for trying to extort Nike. Is the U.S. Military Vaccine Mandate Going to Be Repealed?

Congress and the White House are mulling proposals from top lawmakers to repeal the U.S. military’s vaccine mandate several months after President Joe Biden declared the COVID-19 pandemic to be “over,” according to recent media reports.

Congress’ annual defense bill, the text of which is set to be published next week, may include a compromise amendment scrapping the military vaccine requirement, Democratic Rep. Adam Smith of Washington told Politico on Saturday. Smith’s comments followed prospective House leader Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s claims on Friday that House and Senate leaders had come to an agreement, which the White House is considering, on overturning the Biden administration’s service-wide mandate, according to Reuters.

President Joe Biden, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and McCarthy had negotiated a bipartisan agreement to end the mandate, McCarthy told Fox News on Friday evening.

“We’re going to see in the NDAA – lift the vaccination mandate on our military men and women,” McCarthy said, referring to Congress’ yearly funding bill for the U.S. military.

Putin Declares ‘American World Order’ Is Ending, ‘a Truly Multipolar World’ Has Begun

The war in Ukraine could mark the end of an international world order led by the United States, according to comments from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

What Happened: In July, Putin told lawmakers in Russia that the dominance of the U.S. could be over soon, according to a report from Newsweek.

“They should have realized that they have already lost from the very beginning of our special military operation,” Putin said. “Its beginning also means the beginning of a radical breakdown of the American world order.”

Putin’s comments reference the involvement of the United States in providing support to Ukraine and also placing sanctions on Russia.

Scientist Who Worked at Wuhan Lab Says COVID Was Man-Made Virus

A scientist who worked at a controversial research lab in China has claimed that COVID was a man-made virus that leaked from the facility, according to a report.

Andrew Huff, who worked for a New York-based non-profit that studied viruses, said COVID leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China two-plus years ago and blamed authorities for the “biggest US intelligence failure since 9/11,” Britain’s The Sun reported Saturday.

The lab has been at the center of fierce debates about the origins of COVID, with both Chinese government officials and lab personnel denying that the virus leaked from the facility.

Huff, an epidemiologist, said in his new book, “The Truth About Wuhan,” that the pandemic was the result of the US government’s funding of coronaviruses in China.
