Russia is plotting to launch a Pearl Harbor-style attack on the US in space and destroy its satellites, an expert warns.

Geopolitical expert Brandon J Weichert told The Sun that Russia and China have both “weaponized” space over the past decade, fueling fears of a potential conflict involving the US.

He said: “There is a new space occurring where the US is competing against its old Cold War rival, the Russians, and a new rival the Chinese.

“We in the US have taken the dominant American position for granted.

No Surprise: CDC Now Treats Unvaccinated the Same as Un-Boosted

In its recently updated guidance on exposure to COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) treats double jabbed individuals that have not received a booster shot the same as unvaccinated ones.

“For people who are unvaccinated or are more than six months out from their second mRNA dose (or more than 2 months after the J&J vaccine) and not yet boosted, CDC now recommends quarantine for 5 days followed by strict mask use for an additional 5 days,” the updated guidance reads. “Alternatively, if a 5-day quarantine is not feasible, it is imperative that an exposed person wear a well-fitting mask at all times when around others for 10 days after exposure. Individuals who have received their booster shot do not need to quarantine following an exposure, but should wear a mask for 10 days after the exposure.”

The move to change the definition of “fully vaccinated” by the federal health agency was predicted by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis last month. During a press conference in Tallahassee, the Republican governor told attendees that “those individuals who have gone through a normal vaccination series for COVID …will be determined to be unvaccinated very soon.” . . .

The comments sparked outcry from legacy media fact-checkers, who were quick to label the governor’s prediction as false. Joe Biden, With Help From GOP, Resettles Over 52,000 Afghans Across U.S. In 2021

President Joe Biden has resettled more than 52,000 Afghans across American cities, towns, and communities this year, the latest Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data reveals, in the largest refugee resettlement operation in American history.

Biden’s massive Afghan resettlement operation started in mid-August after a botched withdrawal of United States Armed Forces from Afghanistan following a 20-year war that took the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

Since then, Biden has resettled more than 52,000 Afghans across American communities in 46 states. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has admitted that vetting procedures for Afghans arriving in the U.S. are minimal.

“We are not conducting in-person, refugee interviews of 100 percent individuals,” Mayorkas said during a congressional hearing in November.

The resettlement operation has been aided by American taxpayer money, approved by Republicans and Democrats in Congress. Report: Marines Say Biden’s COVID Vaccine Mandate Is a ‘Purge’

As the U.S. military has continued to refuse all religious exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate and has begun kicking out service members not complying with the mandate, some service members are calling it a “purge.”

Multiple Marines who spoke anonymously to Fox News on Wednesday and refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine said the administration is forcing out the “best and brightest” in the military in what they described as a “political purge.”

One Marine major with more than 17 years on active duty said, “There’s something fundamentally wrong at this point with our nation’s leadership. We are facing an unconstitutional edict that I think is very targeted as a political purge, taking out some of the best and brightest soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and guardians from the Space Force.”

A lieutenant colonel with more than 19 years on active duty added that the military was kicking out service members “as fast as they can and as brutally as they can, damaging every Marine as much as they can on the way out.”

Health Department Requires Healthcare Providers to Discriminate Based on Race When Providing COVID Treatment

The New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) is requiring healthcare providers to prioritize non-white patients when administering oral antiviral treatment for COVID-19.

The department issued a health advisory notice Monday announcing that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved paxlovid and molnupiravir as oral antiviral treatments for the coronavirus, and it provided the eligibility criteria for receiving the drugs.

The criteria state that the drugs are authorized for patients who meet all of the stated criteria, which include patients who “have a medical condition or other factors that increase their risk for severe COVID-19 illness.”

The notice ordered providers to adhere to the department’s COVID-19 guidance for prioritizing anti-COVID-19 antivirals as well as monoclonal antibody treatment products. This guidance explicitly lists non-white ethnicity as a risk factor, and it instructs providers to prioritize non-white people when administering treatment.

Huh? AOC Claims Republicans Criticize Her Because of ‘Deranged Sexual Frustrations’

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed Friday Republicans criticize her because of their “deranged sexual frustrations” and suggested Republicans seek “therapy.”

The “squad” member was spotted dining outdoors in Miami Beach with her boyfriend as her home state sees record-breaking cases of the coronavirus.

Columnist and former President Donald Trump adviser Steve Cortes poked fun at Ocasio-Cortez, claiming “if leftists like AOC actually thought mandates and masking worked, they wouldn’t be frolicking in free FL” and that her boyfriend’s feet were “gross” and “pale.”

Ocasio-Cortez responded that if “Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet. Ya creepy weirdos.” . . .

Some took to Twitter to point out, however, that the criticism of Ocasio-Cortez’s appearance in the sunshine state had more to do with hypocrisy.

With the conclusion of the Maxwell case, attention will now turn to a U.S. civil suit in which the plaintiff alleges Maxwell and long-time boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein took her to London, New York and the U.S. Virgin Islands to have sex with Andrew when she was underage.

Andrew denies the allegations, but Wednesday’s verdict shows that at least one American jury was willing to believe the young women trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell in a criminal case, where the standard of proof is higher than in civil cases. Prince Andrew Defense: Accuser Cannot Sue Because She Isn’t in U.S.

By AP. A lawsuit by an American who claims Prince Andrew sexually abused her when she was 17 might have to be thrown out because she no longer lives in the U.S., lawyers for the Prince said in a court filing Tuesday.

Attorneys Andrew Brettler and Melissa Lerner wrote that they recently discovered Virginia Giuffre has lived in Australia all but two of the last 19 years and cannot claim she’s a resident of Colorado, where she hasn’t lived since at least 2019. . .

The prince’s lawyers in October asked Judge Lewis A. Kaplan to throw out the lawsuit, saying the prince “never sexually abused or assaulted” Giuffre and they believed she sued Andrew “to achieve another payday at his expense and at the expense of those closest to him.” The lawyers acknowledged that Giuffre may well be a victim of sexual abuse by financier Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself in 2019 while awaiting a sex trafficking trial. Prison Conditions Could ‘Improve’ for Ghislaine Maxwell After Sentencing

The conditions of Ghislaine Maxwell’s detention could dramatically improve after she is sentenced and assigned to a federal prison following her conviction on five out of six sex trafficking charges, according to experts.

Maxwell, who was convicted on Wednesday, has been held at the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center since her arrest in July 2020. She has described conditions there as “a living hell,” claiming that she was served maggot-ridden food and had to watch as sewage and rats came into her tiny cell.

As a convicted sex offender, Maxwell will be ineligible for placement into a minimum security facility such as the Federal Prison Camp near Alderson, West Virginia—the so-called “Camp Cupcake” where Martha Stewart was detained for five months in 2005. She will instead be placed into an at least low-security prison.

Federal prison expert Justin Paperny, the founder of the prison consulting firm White Collar Advice, told Newsweek on Thursday that Maxwell will likely consider her new home an upgrade regardless of the security level. Pelosi, Trump Reveal Plans for Competing Jan. 6 Observances

As members of Congress engage in a prayer vigil to mark the one-year anniversary of the riot on Capitol Hill, former President Donald Trump will mark the occasion at his Mar-a-Largo resort in Florida — battling the press.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, announced on Thursday a schedule of events for Jan. 6. Trump similarly announced the specifics for a press conference set for the same day.

“These events are intended as an observance of reflection, remembrance, and recommitment, in a spirit of unity, patriotism, and prayerfulness,” Pelosi said. “The patriotism and courage of our members as we prepare for this difficult day is an inspiration for which I sincerely thank you.”

In a letter to Democratic colleagues, which was shared with the media Thursday, Pelosi outlined the schedule, which includes four events. Congress will not be back in session until Jan. 10, but Pelosi invited her Democrat colleagues to the events. She said Congress will also live-stream its commemorations.

The first thing on her list is a pro forma session in the House at noon with a moment of silence on the House floor. At 1 p.m., Carla Hayden, the librarian of Congress, will host a conversation between historians Jon Meacham and Doris Kearns Goodwin about the events of Jan. 6.
