Idiot Judge Orders Vaccination of 11 Year Old Over Her Scientist-Father’s Objections

An upstate New York judge has sided with a mother in ordering her 11-year-old daughter to get vaccinated against COVID-19 — despite the father’s concerns.

Jeannie Figer in late November brought her estranged husband, Donald Figer, back to court in their 2012 divorce case to ask a judge to allow her to vaccinate her daughter over Donald’s objections.

Donald — a scientist and college professor “at one of the area’s premier institutions” — asked his ex not to rush to vaccinate their young daughter, saying there hadn’t been any studies conducted on the long-term side effects, according to court papers.

But Monroe County Supreme Court Justice Richard Dollinger disagreed, saying time is of the essence when it comes to getting the girl protected. . .

Dollinger ordered Jeannie to schedule an appointment for her daughter to get the shot immediately. (Read more from “Idiot Judge Orders Vaccination of 11 Year Old Over Her Scientist-Father’s Objections” HERE)

Former Congressman Sues Nancy Pelosi and Jan. 6 Capitol Riot Panel Members

By Washington Examiner. Mark Meadows is suing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the House select committee tasked with investigating the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill.

The lawsuit, filed in D.C. federal court on Wednesday, comes after the panel said it had “no choice” but to move forward with recommending criminal contempt of Congress proceedings against the subpoenaed former Trump White House chief of staff after he changed course and said he would no longer cooperate with its investigation. Mark Meadows Sues Nancy Pelosi to Avoid Testifying Before Capitol Riot Committee

By The Daily Beast. Donald Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows has sued House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot in an attempt to skirt testifying before the panel.

The move comes the same day the committee indicated it would move forward with contempt charges after Meadows didn’t show up for his scheduled deposition.

Meadows’ attorneys wrote in the suit, filed in Washington D.C. federal court on Wednesday, that if Meadows does comply with the committee’s request, he would be “illegally coerced into violating the Constitution.”

“The Select Committee wrongly seeks to compel both Mr. Meadows and a third party telecommunications company to provide information to the Select Committee that the Committee lacks lawful authority to seek and to obtain,” his lawyers said. They alleged the committee’s subpoena would “violate longstanding principles of executive privilege and immunity.” (Read more from “Mark Meadows Sues Nancy Pelosi to Avoid Testifying Before Capitol Riot Committee” HERE)

Supreme Court Commission Concludes, Sends Report to Biden — And Indicates Good News if You Read Between the Lines

The commission that President Joe Biden established to examine an expansion of the Supreme Court voted Tuesday to hand over a nearly 300-page report to the president that details what the panel determined.

However, Americans hoping for an expanded and packed high court will be thoroughly disappointed with the report.

The 288-page report — authored by a 34-member panel that included 29 liberals and just five conservatives — did not offer substantive recommendations, either for expanding the Supreme Court or maintaining the status quo.

Instead, the report academically details a summary of multiple arguments about reforming the Supreme Court, such as its expansion, court-packing, judicial term limits, reducing its power, and other practices of the court.

In fact, the report emphasizes that it is not offering a solution to debate about reforming the Supreme Court. (Read more from “Supreme Court Commission Concludes, Sends Report to Biden — And Indicates Good News if You Read Between the Lines” HERE)

People With Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Have 1700% Greater Risk of Getting Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Paralysis: Study

People who receive the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine are at elevated risk of getting a severe autoimmune disorder that can cause paralysis, according to a new study.

Researchers used data from the Vaccine Safety Datalink, which is run by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). They found (pdf) 21 potential cases, 11 of which were confirmed, of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) in people who got the shot. Most happened with 13 days of vaccination.

The incidence rate of confirmed cases per 100,000 person-years was 34.6 during the 1 to 21 days after administration, much higher than the historical background rate of 2 per 100,000 person-years. . .

The study validates findings from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a passive reporting system run by the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration, the researchers said.

A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in October, analyzing data from the system, found a “potential small but statistically significant safety concern for Guillain-Barré syndrome following receipt” of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Doctors Warn of ‘Unusual’ Omicron Symptom in Kids

Parents have been warned of an unusual Omicron symptom to look out for in their kids.

Young children appear to be getting rashes while infected with the new variant, a London doctor has reported.

Dr. David Lloyd, a GP from north London, said he has seen about 15 percent of youngsters with confirmed Omicron cases developing spots.

They also suffered with fatigue, headaches and a loss of appetite — which seems to fit with the most common variant symptoms reported so far in adults.

The health expert told Sky News the difference in symptoms was “quite important,” along with the rash. (Read more from “Doctors Warn of ‘Unusual’ Omicron Symptom in Kids” HERE)

WATCH: Pope Francis Says ‘Sins of the Flesh’ Aren’t That ‘Serious’

Lust is not the worst of the seven deadly sins, according to Pope Francis.

There are worse indiscretions than sex outside of marriage, the leader of the Catholic Church told reporters on the papal plane while en route from Greece to Italy on Monday, Reuters reported.

“Sins of the flesh are not the most serious,” the 84-year-old religious leader said regarding sex outside of marriage. Top transgressions instead include pride and hatred, according to Reuters.

Francis’ rankings of the worst wrongdoings followed the resignation of a Paris archbishop, who quit over a relationship with a woman earlier this month. However, the 70-year-old French cleric, Michel Aupetit, denied being intimate with the anonymous female, behavior that would break his promise of celibacy, according to Reuters.

“It was a failing against the sixth commandment (You shall not commit adultery) but not a total one, one of small caresses, massage given to his secretary — that is what the accusation is,” Francis clarified about Aupetit’s actions. “There is a sin there but not the worst kind.” (Read more from “Pope Francis Says ‘Sins of the Flesh’ Aren’t That ‘Serious'” HERE)

Major City to Spend $500 Million Teaching Kids to Obsess About Sex and Race

Last week, fifth-grade teacher Amy Parker took the pages of the education site Chalkbeat to celebrate New York City’s initiative to promote “culturally responsive education” in its public schools. Parker introduces her essay by lamenting that “School taught me to hide who I was and what I valued” because it didn’t assign books with characters who had gay parents. But, at the same time, Parker also complains that she “was overly represented in the books [she] read and the classes [she] took.”

To make up for this injustice, Parker has now committed herself to providing a “culturally responsive and sustaining education” or “CRSE.” This means that she will pick texts on the basis of “representation” and “diversity” and emphasize racial and sexual identity in all her lessons. Instead of learning about the world and how to contribute to it, her students will now learn about themselves and how to become “agents of change.”

For these courageous efforts, New York City will support Parker and other teachers like her with a gargantuan sum of money: “Over the course of three years, almost $500 million will be allocated to CRSE so that our students are reflected in what and how they learn.”

While everyone is certainly entitled to her opinions, even bad ones, this becomes a problem when it comes with such a high price tag and threatens to become the dominant position of an entire profession. I may not teach in New York, but even here in Texas, this kind of thinking and the policies it inspires are increasingly common in our public schools. Poll: Most Americans Believe In Biblical God, Heaven and Hell, and Purpose for Suffering

If you only watched corporate media’s coverage of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Organization abortion case before the Supreme Court last week, you’d think very few people still believed in Christianity and its values, prominent among which is the belief that life is divinely created and precious. But a recent poll suggests the majority of Americans do express a belief in God.

In a survey of some 6,500 American adults, Pew Research Center found that many Americans still hold religious convictions including a deep and abiding belief in God, belief in heaven and hell, and the belief that God is not to blame for human suffering. . .

In the survey, a majority of Americans (58 percent) define their God as the one described in the Bible. Another one-third (32 percent) believe in a god or spiritual power, although not necessarily that of the Bible. All told, nine in 10 Americans believe in some higher power working in our world.

As for respondents’ religious affiliation, Pew found some 66 percent identified as Christian — 42 percent Protestant and 21 percent Catholic. Another 28 percent claimed no religious affiliation, including 10 percent who were atheist or agnostic and another 18 percent who said they believed “nothing in particular.” . . .

Trusting in God means he controls our eternal destiny. Nearly three-fourths of all adult Americans (73 percent) believe in heaven. (Read more from “Poll: Most Americans Believe In Biblical God, Heaven and Hell, and Purpose for Suffering” HERE)
