Grand Jury Indicts Trump Organization

By Townhall. On Wednesday night, The New York Times reported, “Trump Organization and Top Executive Are Indicted in Tax Investigation.” The executive in question is Allen Weisselberg, the organization’s Chief Financial Officer. The charges are “not immediately clear,” because the indictment has not been unsealed. It is expected to be once Weisselberg and lawyers appear in court, which is expected to be tomorrow.

Nevertheless, there is some speculation. From The Times:

But prosecutors in the Manhattan district attorney’s office have been examining bonuses and luxury perks that Mr. Weisselberg received — including an apartment in Manhattan, leased Mercedes-Benz cars and private school tuition for at least one of his grandchildren — and whether taxes should have been paid on those benefits.

The indictment is a major development in the investigation led by the district attorney, Cyrus R. Vance, Jr., who has been conducting a sweeping inquiry into Mr. Trump and his business dealings along with the New York State attorney general, Letitia James.

Trump Org, CFO Indicted by New York Grand Jury: Reports

By The Hill. . .Two people told the Post that Weisselberg is expected to surrender Thursday morning, and later that day, he’s expected to be arraigned in front of a state court judge. The Trump Organization is also expected to be arraigned. The New York Times reported that the indictments would be unsealed following the court appearances.

People familiar with the plans told the Post that charges are not expected against former President Trump himself at this time. . .

The Journal reported that the company and Weisselberg are expected to face charges related to allegations that Trump Organization employees avoided paying taxes on fringe benefits such as cars, apartments and other bonuses they received through the company.

Ronald Fischetti, an attorney representing former President Trump, said in an interview on Monday that Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.’s office told him it is currently considering charges against the Trump Organization and individual employees for allegedly not paying taxes on company benefits. There are no charges related to hush money allegations or potential fraud regarding property valuations, he said. (Read more from “Trump Org, CFO Indicted by New York Grand Jury: Reports” HERE)

Bill Cosby Walks Free Because of This Power-Hungry Prosecutor

. . .On Feb. 17, 2005, I was sitting at my desk at the Philadelphia Daily News wrapping up my work for the day when I got a fax from the office of Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce L. Castor Jr.

It was no ordinary press blast. Instead, Castor was announcing that he would not be prosecuting Bill Cosby for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand. . .

In February 2016, I watched Castor testify for several hours in a Montgomery County courtroom about this arrangement. The gist of his testimony was that Castor had promised Cosby he would never be prosecuted for this particular crime, which is why Cosby was so “cooperative” during the deposition, and waived his Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate himself.

“The prosecutor, according to Pennsylvania rules, [is a] minister of justice,” Castor said. “And I did not believe it was just to go forward with the criminal prosecution. I wanted there to be some measure of justice. So I made the determination as the sovereign—and not Bruce Castor, district attorney. I am the sovereign of Montgomery County. As the sovereign, I determined we would not prosecute Cosby, and that would then set off a chain of events that I thought as a minister of justice would gain some justice for Andrea Constand.” . . .

In the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s shocking decision to overturn Cosby’s conviction Wednesday, it ordered Cosby’s immediate release from prison—and barred the prosecution from trying him a third time. The court based its decision, of course, on the idea that Cosby relied on an agreement with Castor to pass on his Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate himself. WATCH: Trump Drops Strongest Hint Yet On 2024

Former President Donald Trump gave his strongest indication yet that he may run for president again in 2024.

In a Wednesday interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Trump answered “yes” when asked if he had made up his mind about 2024. He has hinted on multiple occasions at a potential 2024 run for his old office, but has made no definitive commitment yet publicly.

Various reports have surfaced that people around Trump expect him to run for president. Polls have indicated that Trump would still be a frontrunner in a potential Republican primary despite his 2020 loss.

General Who Fired Space Force Commander Rebuked by Judge for Illegalities

The general who fired a Space Force commander for trying to rid the military of Marxism was himself castigated by a military judge in an unprecedented order for intentionally violating the constitutional rights of a serviceman.

Last month, Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting of the U.S. Space Command relieved Matthew Lohmeier of his duties overseeing missile defense based on a judgment that informing the public about Marxist ideology in the military was dangerous.

But beginning in 2018, while supervising a military prosecution, Whiting violated the due process and rights to a fair trial of an Air Force engineer on three counts of rape that could have resulted in a lifetime prison sentence, according to court documents.

“This court is left to conclude that the United States of America is neither committed to ensuring the accused gets a fair trial nor taking the steps necessary to provide the accused with the relevant discovery to mount his defense,” wrote Judge W. Shane Cohen in a 13-page opinion dated Aug. 22, 2019. “This court is left with few conclusions other than the United States of America is not serious about meeting its legal obligations even when the law demands it.” (Read more from “General Who Fired Space Force Commander Rebuked by Judge for Illegalities” HERE)

Military Official Warns U.S. Of Potential Surprise Attack On Hawaii

Russia and China are coordinating military exercises to threaten not only Taiwan but also Hawaii, according to a senior Japanese defense official who warned the United States to beware of a Pearl Harbor-style surprise attack.

“We have to show the deterrence towards China, and not just China but also the Russians, because, as I told you, that they are doing their exercises together,” Japanese deputy Yasuhide Nakayama told the Hudson Institute this week.

Taiwan’s vulnerability to an invasion from mainland China has become a preoccupation of Indo-Pacific strategists in recent months, as Chinese Communist forces escalate their military drills around the island. Nakayama, who was unusually frank about the need for democratic nations to ensure Taiwan’s survival, implied that Russia and China are working as allies preparing for a major conflict.

“I think the Taiwanese are really concerned,” he said. “And also, they’re focusing on the two big countries collaborating and [presenting] a lot of threat towards Taiwan.”

Chinese Communist officials regard Taiwan as a renegade province, one that they have claimed since coming to power in 1949 but never governed. Most countries recognize the regime in Beijing as the official Chinese government and do not have formal diplomatic relations with Taiwan, although the U.S. has maintained a friendly relationship and provided weaponry to help Taiwanese authorities deter an invasion from the mainland. Officials Cancel Rally When Trump Identified as Speaker

Officials have canceled a rally in a public park in Alabama after discovering that it would be former President Donald Trump who would be speaking.

It may be the latest iteration of Trump Derangement Syndrome, the affliction that causes his political opponents to take the opposite stance on any issue, just because it opposes Trump. . .

It is the Gateway Pundit that reported a park commissioner in Alabama said the event scheduled for Saturday was dropped “after” it was learned Trump was invited.

The event was to be at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. Park officials said that “no partisan events” were allowed, the report explained.

That’s even though the state attorney general confirmed partisan events were allowed as long as the applicants had equal access to the process. (Read more from “Officials Cancel Rally When Trump Identified as Speaker” HERE)

How a 10-Year-Old Girl’s Mom Saved Her from Going Transgender

. . .Ten-year-old Mindy (a pseudonym) changed schools and left behind her friends just before the school lockdowns, then attended school virtually for the rest of fourth grade and all of fifth grade. When she exhibited overwhelming stress, her concerned parents took her to a counselor at the pediatrician’s office. That started their nightmare. . .

For Mindy, what started as “out of the blue” anxiety and depression quickly escalated to a diagnosis of gender dysphoria, the next crucial step in the manufacturing of trans kids.

“She began counseling at the pediatrics office and [they] quickly diagnosed her with gender dysphoria (without telling us) and possible Asperger’s in addition to the previous GAD [Generalized Anxiety Disorder]. I felt like they did not listen to me…I told the pediatrics office and counselor that this started when my daughter changed school… leaving her friends and the only school she had ever been to. [Then] school became virtual [and] nothing was normal.”

Notice how the counselor didn’t listen to the parents and their knowledge of their child. Obvious triggers—changing schools, leaving friends behind, lockdowns, and the resulting anxiety and depression—were ignored. To me, this is reckless medical malpractice and it happens far too frequently.

For ten-year-old Mindy, her therapist was forthright enough, thankfully, to inform Mindy’s parents that she intended, without their permission or input, to start calling Mindy by a male name. But Mindy’s mama bear mother didn’t roll over. She took appropriate action. (Read more from “How a 10-Year-Old Girl’s Mom Saved Her from Going Transgender” HERE)

Trump: Replace Gen. Mark Milley With A Leader Who Rejects ‘Leftist Radicals’

Former President Donald Trump called for Gen. Mark Milley’s resignation and criticized the general for kowtowing to leftist radicals in a statement Wednesday.

“Gen. Mark Milley’s greatest fear is upsetting the woke mob,” Trump said. “Gen. Milley ought to resign, and be replaced with someone who is actually willing to defend our Military from the Leftist Radicals who hate our Country and our Flag.”

In classic Trump fashion, the former president proceeded to elaborate upon Milley’s failures.

“When Black Lives Matter rioters were threatening to destroy Washington, D.C.,” Trump said, “[Milley] practically begged me not to send in the military to stop the riots.” (Read more from “Trump: Replace Gen. Mark Milley With A Leader Who Rejects ‘Leftist Radicals’” HERE)

Judge Including Mandatory Coronavirus Vaccine in Terms of Probation

Common Pleas Judge Richard Frye of Ohio’s Franklin County has been including mandatory coronavirus vaccines in the terms of defendants’ respective probations, attaching the stipulation to three of his recent cases.

“It occurred to me that at least some of these folks need to be encouraged not to procrastinate,” Frye said, according to the Columbus Dispatch, which said the judge openly discussed vaccination statuses with the defendants.

According to reports, none of the defendants cited religious, moral, or medical reasons for not yet getting the vaccine.

“I think it’s a reasonable condition when we’re telling people to get employed and be out in the community,” Frye added.

One of the defendants who received the condition, Cameron Stringer, “entered a guilty plea for one charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, for which he was sentenced to two years of probation,” per the Dispatch. A coronavirus shot is one of several conditions of his probation, court documents show. (Read more from “Judge Including Mandatory Coronavirus Vaccine in Terms of Probation” HERE)

Controversial Olympian Insists National Anthem Is ‘Disrespectful’ to Black Americans (VIDEO)

Olympic athlete Gwen Berry, who on Saturday turned away from the US flag during the national anthem, doubled down on her controversial protest Monday — insisting the anthem is “disrespectful” to black Americans.

“If you know your history, you know the full song of the national anthem. The third paragraph speaks to slaves in America — our blood being slain … all over the floor,” Berry, 31, said on Black News Channel.

“It’s disrespectful, and it does not speak for black Americans.”

“It’s obvious,” she added. “There’s no question.”
