With little or no notice to local officials, the Biden administration is placing in towns across the nation young illegal aliens who are part of the massive surge in border crossings.

Sen. Todd Young, R-Ind., told the Washington Examiner’s “Secrets” column the development is the “reckless” result of Biden’s effort to erase President Trump’s immigration legacy.

“The administration’s only giving lip service to our border crisis,” he said. “They think that simply asking migrants not to illegally enter our country is sufficient when clearly it’s not, and the continued crippling influx at the border proves it’s not.”

Vice President Kamala Harris’ refusal to go to the border despite being designated Biden’s border czar is further proof, the senator said. . .

Trump Will Visit Border Since Kamala, Biden Won’t

Trump proved himself to be a branding genius and excellent judge of popular sentiment on Tuesday, June 15th, when he released a statement saying that he will visit the border since Kamala and Joe won’t. Here’s what he said:

“I have accepted the invitation of Texas Governor Greg Abbott to join him on an official visit to our Nation’s decimated Southern Border on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. The Biden Administration inherited from me the strongest, safest, and most secure border in U.S history and in mere weeks they turned it into the single worst border crisis in U.S history. It’s an unmitigated disaster zone.

“We went from detain-and-remove to catch-and-release. We went from having border security that was the envy of the world to a lawless border that is now pitied around the world. Biden and Harris have handed control of our border over to cartels, criminals, and coyotes. Drug dealers, MS-13 gang members, human smugglers, sex traffickers, and the criminal elements of the world now have free reign. Atlanta Community Separates From City Due to Crime Spike

Reacting to skyrocketing violent crime in Atlanta, the city’s richest neighborhood has filed papers to secede and set up its own police force.

“We filed our divorce papers at the city of Atlanta — and our divorce is final,” Bill White, chairman and CEO of the Buckhead City Committee, told Fox News’ Bill Hemmer on Thursday.

He said he expects to have a referendum on the ballot in 2022, and 80% of his community will vote in favor of separation.

The new community, Buckhead City, will have its own court, judge and jail, White said.

“And we are going to put the smackdown on this crime once and for all here, because the people of Buckhead have had enough,” he said.

Rumors of U.S. Secretly Harboring Top China Official Swirl; Pushing Against China, U.S. Lawmakers Plan Pro-Taiwan Bill

By The Daily Beast. Chinese-language anti-communist media and Twitter are abuzz this week with rumors that a vice minister of State Security, Dong Jingwei defected in mid-February, flying from Hong Kong to the United States with his daughter, Dong Yang.

Dong Jingwei supposedly gave the U.S. information about the Wuhan Institute of Virology that changed the stance of the Biden administration concerning the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dong is, or was, a longtime official in China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS), also known as the Guoanbu. His publicly available background indicates that he was responsible for the Ministry’s counterintelligence efforts in China, i.e., spy-catching, since being promoted to vice minister in April 2018. If the stories are true, Dong would be the highest-level defector in the history of the People’s Republic of China.

Dong’s defection was raised by Chinese officials last March at the Sino-American summit in Alaska, according to Dr. Han Lianchao, a former Chinese foreign ministry official before defecting after the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre. In a Wednesday tweet, Han, citing an unnamed source, alleged that China’s foreign minister Wang Yi and Communist Party foreign affairs boss Yang Jiechi demanded that the Americans return Dong, and U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken refused. Pushing Against China, U.S. Lawmakers Plan Pro-Taiwan Bill

By Reuters. Democratic and Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives will introduce legislation this week seeking to boost U.S. support for Taiwan, part of an effort in Congress to take a hard line in dealings with China.

Representatives Ami Bera and Steve Chabot, the Democratic and Republican leaders of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Asia subcommittee, will introduce the “Taiwan Peace and Stability Act,” a measure “to support the diplomatic, economic and physical space” of the self-governing island.

“Hopefully we’re able to pass something in a bipartisan way on the House floor,” Bera said in a telephone interview. “I think this is an area where we can hopefully speak with one voice.”

Democrats Design Fallback Far-Left $6 Trillion Infrastructure Plan Without GOP

Senate Democrats and Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are designing a $6 trillion fallback infrastructure plan for reconciliation if the $1.2 trillion bipartisan plan fails.

“Senate Democrats are weighing spending as much as $6 trillion on their own infrastructure package if the chamber’s bipartisan talks fail, according to two sources familiar with the matter,” Politico reported.

“The bipartisan talks could impact us, but we’re going to keep going,” Sanders said Wednesday about the reported scheme of shoving “$2.5 trillion would go through the Finance Committee, $185 billion through the Energy Committee, and almost $500 billion through the Environment and Public Works Committee.”

On Wednesday, a bipartisan group of 21 Senators released a $1.2 trillion proposal in which tax increases are excluded, presumably along with global warming initiatives.

Scientist Admits: We Dismissed Lab-Leak Theory Because Trump Promoted It

One of the 18 scientists who recently published a letter acknowledging the plausibility of the coronavirus lab-leak theory said she and her colleauges didn’t speak out sooner because President Trump promoted that possibility for the origin of the pandemic.

“At the time, it was scarier to be associated with Trump and to become a tool for racists, so people didn’t want to publicly call for an investigation into lab origins,”said Alina Chan in an interview with NBC News. . .

On its website, NBC titled its Wednesday story about the interview “The science around the lab leak theory hasn’t changed. But here’s why some scientists have.”

NBC wrote:

Chan said there had been trepidation among some scientists about publicly discussing the lab leak hypothesis for fear that their words could be misconstrued or used to support racist rhetoric about how the coronavirus emerged. Trump fueled accusations that the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a research lab in the city where the first Covid-19 cases were reported, was connected to the outbreak, and on numerous occasions he called the pathogen the “Wuhan virus” or “kung flu.”

Newly Released Email Reveals Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Dressing Down Staffer

A newly released email from Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot dressing down a staffer this year offers a glimpse into the turmoil behind her turnover-plagued administration.

In the condescending message, sent to then-aide Taylor Lewis in January and obtained by the Chicago Tribune, Lightfoot demands more office time — and repeats every sentence more than a dozen times in some cases.

“Since my prior requests for office time are routinely ignored, I am now resorting to this,” Lightfoot begins the Jan. 28 email, posted on Twitter by Tribune reporter Gregory Pratt.

She then writes: “I need office time everyday!” — a phrase that repeats a total of 16 times.

Alaska Hiker Found Alive After Being Attacked by Bears

A missing hiker made it out of the woods and flagged down help after she was attacked by bears in Alaska, authorities said.

Fina Kiefer, 55, had contacted her husband asking for help early Tuesday after multiple bears charged at her on Pioneer Ridge Trail near Palmer, state troopers said. . .

It wasn’t until Wednesday evening that one of the members of the search crew notified troopers that Kiefer had walked out of the woods and flagged him down for help.

U.S. Officials Express Shock Over Report of Thousands of AWOL Military Weapons

The Pentagon is looking at how to prevent weapons from being taken from bases to the streets after a bombshell report found almost 2,000 guns have been lost or stolen over the past decade, some of which were used to commit violent crimes.

Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley was “shocked” by an Associated Press investigation that found at least 1,900 firearms have been lost or stolen from the military in the past 10 years, he told lawmakers Thursday at a hearing held by the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Senators like Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) expressed concern over the report, especially an anecdote about gang members in her home state purchasing stolen automatic assault rifles, and pressed Milley for a solution.

In response to the AP report, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) requested the Department of the Defense review safety policies regarding military weapons in a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin this week, adding he would pursue a mandatory reporting requirement when Congress drafts the new defense budget in the coming months. Disturbing: Judge Gives Child Rapist Just 180 Days, While Forcing a Father To Get Experimental Vaccine Before Seeing His Kids

Rape someone else’s child? Just 180 days of jail time will suffice. You want to see your own child after divorcing your wife? You can never do that unless you take an experimental gene therapy sold as a vaccine. That is essentially the ethos from a pair of court decisions made by Polk County District Court Judge Travis Kitchens this month. The biggest irony of all? The local Fox affiliate reporter who broke these two stories is the same woman who tried to report about the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine and claims she was muzzled by Fox Corp. in doing so.

KRIV-TV reporter Ivory Hecker, who has since been fired, reported last week that Eli Binnion, a child rapist, was sentenced to just 180 days in jail (not prison) for a 2018 rape of a 14-year-old girl in a Polk County, Texas, motel. According to the victim’s father, Judge Travis Kitchens didn’t even allow the parents to testify at the sentencing hearing. While Binnion was in jail for the rape, he brutally attacked a fellow inmate, breaking his jaw. According to Hecker, “Judge Kitchens gave Binnion a three-year sentence for the assault, and because he’s been in jail since 2018, he’ll be out in a matter of months.” . . .

Just how liberal is this alleged Republican judge? While he lets child rapists off the hook, he treats fathers like criminals unless they get the mRNA gene therapy. In May, Hecker reported that Judge Kitchens ordered Chris Staley, a father of four going through a divorce, to get vaccinated for COVID before being able to visit his children, ages 6 through 11. The father is more likely to harm his children by infecting them with nearly any other respiratory virus or bacteria, yet Kitchens is making him take an experimental vaccine that is already very problematic.

It’s hard to imagine how this order does not run afoul of Gov. Greg Abbott’s order barring any state government official from mandating the vaccine. Yet we are seeing all over Texas, most prominently with 117 health care workers at Houston Methodist hospital, people being forced to serve as lab rats. Clearly, the governor and state legislature are not doing enough to protect both civil liberties and public health.
