House Committee Could Grant Biden Witnesses Immunity to Get Them to Talk

As key witnesses in the investigation into former President Joe Biden’s mental decline continue to evade U.S. House questioning by invoking their Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination, lawmakers could grant them immunity to encourage them to talk, according to a legal expert.

Three witnesses close to the former president pleaded the fifth during depositions before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in less than two weeks, with more likely to come.

Committee chairman Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., said the witnesses, Annie Tomasini, who served as an assistant to the former president and deputy director of Oval Office Operations, former first lady Jill Biden’s chief of staff, Anthony Bernal, and Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s physician, have pleaded the Fifth in “a pattern … seeking to shield themselves from criminal liability.”

Attorney and legal scholar John Shu notes that the committee could grant certain congressional witnesses immunity, a common tactic that would require them to testify because they no longer could self-incriminate and be subject to prosecution.

Trump Says His FBI Found Nothing ‘Abnormal’ When Investigating Assassination Attempt

President Donald Trump told reporters Tuesday that his FBI had concluded its investigation into Thomas Crooks and found nothing “abnormal” more than a year after the assassination attempt on his life.

While Trump’s FBI said there was no “there there” while investigating the assassination attempt in March, the president told Fox News that he was having a hard time believing the official narrative surrounding the July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Ten days out from the anniversary of the assassination attempt, Trump told the Daily Caller that he was “very satisfied” with what his administration turned up.

A year after the assassination attempt, details on tragedy and 20-year-old Thomas Crooks remain limited.

“What an interesting world that we know more about two people at a Coldplay concert just hours after that viral video than we know of Thomas Crooks one year after the assassination attempt. What is holding back the investigation on Thomas Crooks?” Real America’s Voice White House correspondent Brian Glenn asked.

“They have reported to me and told me things. They really say they haven’t found anything abnormal. I will say this, the Secret Service was very brave because they were right there and they jumped on me. They made mistakes. They should’ve had someone on that roof. They should have had communication with the local police. They made some mistakes,” Trump said while taking questions at a meeting with the Philippines president. Ex-socialite Ghislaine Maxwell will try to cut a deal with federal authorities during a jailhouse meeting with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, sources told The Post.

Blanche said Tuesday he plans to meet with the convicted madam, currently serving a 20- year sentence in Florida for sex trafficking young women for her former boss, notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

“She’s going to make a deal,” said Alan Dershowitz, a lawyer and law professor who was pals with, and previously represented, Epstein, who died in federal custody in August 2019.

“That’s the way things are done. They make deals with the mafia, so I’m certain they are going to try to make a deal with her.”

A separate legal expert explained meeting with Blanche presents an opportunity for Maxwell to potentially lessen her sentence or get out of prison in exchange for spiling secrets about her and Epstein’s life, which she has closely guarded since his death. Coca-Cola Reveals Fate Of Trump-Approved Soda

Coca-Cola announced Tuesday it will offer both the high fructose corn syrup option and a cane sugar version of Coke in the U.S. after President Donald Trump pressured the brand, the company announced in a Tuesday earnings report.

“As part of its ongoing innovation agenda, this fall in the United States, the company plans to launch an offering made with U.S. cane sugar to expand its Trademark Coca-Cola product range,” Coca-Cola wrote in its second quarter earnings report.

The new cane sugar Coke will debut in the U.S. in the fall of 2025, according to the earnings report.

While the report made no mention of Trump, the president beat the soda giant to the announcement July 17, proclaiming on social media that he convinced them to make the switch.

Trump Posts AI-Generated Video Showing Obama Getting Arrested to ‘YMCA’

President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video of former President Barack Obama being arrested on Sunday, a nod to recent claims made by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

In the Truth Social post, Trump shared a TikTok video of various Democrats, including Obama, saying that “No one is above the law.”

Later in the 45-second AI-generated video, Trump and Obama are seen sitting in the Oval Office before Obama is arrested by agents as the song “YMCA” plays.

The AI-generated version of Trump grins as Obama is apprehended and eventually thrown in a jail cell. The AI-generated Obama is also seen wearing an orange jumpsuit behind bars.

Top Intelligence Officials Contradicted Brennan: ‘No Intelligence’ To Support Key Russia Hoax Claim

Top officials working on an intelligence community analysis about Russia’s interference in the 2016 election were overruled by CIA Director John Brennan, according to records exclusively reviewed by The Federalist. The records are related to ongoing criminal investigations into Brennan and other top intelligence officials for their roles in launching the Russia collusion hoax.

The dispute was over the “key judgment” in a January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) that Russia had interfered in the election specifically because Putin and the Russian government “aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances.”

The senior intelligence officials pointed out the lack of evidence to substantiate the claim. “We have no intelligence to directly support this ‘aspiration’ point,” said one member of the small group of individuals working with Brennan, FBI Director James Comey, and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper on the assessment of Russian activity in the lead-up to the 2016 election.

The official worried that the inclusion of the claim would “open the IC to a line of very politicized inquiry that is sure to come up when this paper is shared with the Hill.” A recent CIA analysis of the inclusion of this disputed “key judgment” noted the risks of including poorly supported judgments since skeptical readers are inclined to “reject an entire analysis if a single judgment appears exaggerated, biased, or unsupported.”

The experts did not disagree that Russia had continued its practice of attempting to sow chaos in presidential elections. They believed the intelligence indicated Russia sought to weaken presumptive winner Hillary Clinton and those efforts may have indirectly helped Trump. But they were concerned about the lack of evidence for the claim that became a cornerstone of the Russia collusion narrative, in which Trump was accused of conspiring with Russia to steal the 2016 election. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released declassified documents on Friday, claiming the existence of a secret conspiracy led by the Obama administration to undermine President Donald Trump with the Trump-Russian Collusion hoax, according to Fox News.

“The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic,” Gabbard said on this week’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” “Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President [Barack] Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office after President Trump had already gotten elected. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic,” she continued.

The released documents show that before the 2016 election, Russia had shown no intent of meddling with the voting system. Yet, members of the intelligence community would later conspire to accuse President Vladimir Putin of directly interfering with the election to help Trump win.

“Creating this piece of manufactured intelligence that claims that Russia had helped Donald Trump get elected contradicted every other assessment that had been made previously in the months leading up to the election that said exactly the opposite, that Russia had neither the intent nor the capability to try to ‘hack the United States election,’” Gabbard continued. “So the effect of what President Obama and his senior national security team did was subvert the will of the American people, undermining our democratic republic and enacting what would be essentially a years-long coup against President Trump, who was duly elected by the American people.”

The evidence also incriminates former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey, and former National Security Adviser Susan Rice, as well as Obama. Gabbard stated the intent to file the records with the FBI and the Department of Justice with the hope DOJ would criminally prosecute those involved in the hoax. House Speaker Mike Johnson Says Congress Might Subpoena Obama over Russia Conspiracy

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said Congress may subpoena former President Barack Obama for allegedly colluding with America’s intelligence agencies to tie President Donald Trump to Russia during the 2016 election.

Johnson revealed to reporter David Brody that he has been considering a subpoena of former President Barack Obama.

“I think we have a responsibility to follow the truth, where it leads,” said Johnson. “To do effectively the opposite of what that other team did — they were engaged in a partisan political plot to take down their foe in the other party. We need to be about the rule of law and bring an order to the chaos and searching out the truth because the American people are owed those answers.”

Regarding President Obama, Johnson said, “If it’s uncomfortable for him, he shouldn’t have been involved in overseeing this, which is what it appears to us has happened.”

National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard alleged last week that files and records showed former President Barack Obama colluded with intelligence services to undermine the election of Donald Trump by falsely linking him to Russia.

Mamdani Wants to Leave Battered Women Without Police Protection

While leftists claim they care for women and other historically marginalized groups, their policies show otherwise. Latest case: socialist New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani saying domestic violence victims don’t deserve police response.

As reported by Jon Levine at The Washington Free Beacon, Mamdani said during a 2020 podcast that armed police were not the correct response to domestic violence calls. The New York Police Department reportedly responded to these types of calls more than 100,000 times in 2024.

As a domestic abuse survivor (and nearly 10-year resident of New York City who fled in 2020), for me, this is a horrific, chilling sentiment from a supposed public servant.

It’s also a slap in the face to women, who are by far the most common victims of domestic violence, rather than tall, young men like Mamdani, who at 33 years old towers above women in his social media posts.

“There’s a lot of humans who are victims in the city of New York, and they need protection because sometimes it’s a matter of life and death. They’re hiding in the bathroom with their children, and they need someone to come immediately,” Michelle Esquenazi, founder of the New York-based Victims Rights Reform Council, told Fox News Digital. . .

In another classic case of rich celebrities wanting private security, but not public security for impoverished victims, Levine also reported that Mamdani has spent over $33,000 on private security during his campaign.
