Report: Ivanka Trump Rules Out Challenging Marco Rubio for U.S. Senate

Amid speculation that one or more members of former President Donald Trump’s family will launch primary challenges against incumbent Republicans in the upcoming 2022 midterm election year, at least one Trump has reportedly ruled out doing so.

The New York Times reported that Ivanka Trump will not run against Sen. Marco Rubio (R) in the 2022 Florida GOP Senate primary. Ivanka, her husband Jared Kushner, and their family moved to Florida permanently after her father’s presidential term ended. Since the move, rumors have swirled that Ivanka Trump would seek statewide office, possibly challenging Rubio for Senate.

A spokesman for Rubio told the Times that Ivanka is supporting the senator for re-election in 2022.

“Marco did speak with Ivanka a few weeks ago,” the spokesman said. “Ivanka offered her support for Marco’s re-election. They had a great talk.” (Read more from “Report: Ivanka Trump Rules Out Challenging Marco Rubio for U.S. Senate” HERE)

Biden’s Massive Amnesty Bill Is Here

Democrat Senator Bob Menendez and a number of other leftist lawmakers on Capitol Hill will officially introduce a massive amnesty bill backed by the White House and President Joe Biden Thursday morning. The legislation will be known as the “U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021” and rewards at least 11 million people who came to the country illegally. From the Associated Press:

While the plan offers one of the fastest pathways to citizenship of any proposed measure in recent years, it does so without offering any enhanced border security, which past immigration negotiations have used as a way to win Republican votes. Without enhanced security, it faces tough odds in a closely divided Congress.

The bill would immediately provide green cards to farm workers, those with temporary protected status and young people who arrived in the U.S. illegally as children. For others living in the U.S. as of Jan. 1, 2021, the plan establishes a five-year path to temporary legal status, if they pass background checks, pay taxes and fulfill other basic requirements. Then, after three years, they can pursue citizenship.

Recent reports also show the Biden administration stripping legal terms like “illegal alien” from government documents.

Former Facebook CEO Urges Users to ‘Delete the App’

The former chief executive of Facebook’s Australian business urged users to delete the social network’s app in response to Mark Zuckerberg’s “sad” decision to block news from the platform in the country.

Stephen Scheeler, the ex-boss of Facebook Australia and New Zealand, said in an interview that Facebook’s controversial move “looks and feels ugly” and blasted CEO Zuckerberg’s motivations.

“It shouldn’t have happened. But unfortunately it did,” Scheeler told The Australian. “But there’s no good answers … But at Facebook nobody ever loses their jobs.”

“I’m a proud ex-Facebooker, but over the years I get more and more exasperated. For Facebook and Mark it’s too much about the money, and the power, and not about the good,” Scheeler said. “Imagine if a Chinese company for example had done this, we would be up in arms. All Australians should be quite alarmed by this.”

The former CEO, who resigned from the tech giant in 2017, encouraged Australians to send a strong message to the company by deleting the app, while calling for “more regulation” of Facebook. (Read more from “Former Facebook CEO Urges Users to ‘Delete the App’” HERE)

Here’s What Trump Said When Asked if He’s Running for President; Trump Is Being Sued as a Private Citizen for His Alleged Role in the Capitol Riots

By Townhall. On Wednesday, former President Donald Trump gave his first interviews since leaving the White House. While the former president discussed the remarkable life of radio legend and conservative icon Rush Limbaugh, Trump also fielded other questions, like if he will be running for president in 2024.

Newsmax’s Geg Kelly tried pinning the one-term president down multiple times on the subject of a possible run.

“Again, look, it’s a no-brainer, right?” Kelly asked. “You’re going to run for president in 2024, right?”

“Well, we have tremendous support. I won’t say yet, but we have tremendous support. And I’m looking at poll numbers and they’re through the roof,” said Trump. . .

Trump left the possibility of a presidential run at “you’ll see what happens.” (Read more from “Here’s What Trump Said When Asked if He’s Running for President” HERE)

Trump Is Being Sued as a Private Citizen for His Alleged Role in the Capitol Riots

By Townhall. After the Senate voted to acquit former President Donald Trump on the article of impeachment for “inciting an insurrection,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he believed a civil lawsuit could be brought against the former president.

“President Trump is still liable for everything he did while he was in office, as an ordinary citizen. Unless the statute of limitations is run, he’s still liable for everything he did while he was in office,” McConnell said on the Senate floor. “He didn’t get away with anything, yet.”

And now House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MD) is taking McConnell’s advice. He filed a lawsuit against Trump, Rudy Giuliani, the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers for their alleged roles in the Capitol riots.

According to the lawsuit, the defendants “conspired to incite an assembled crowd to march upon and enter the Capitol of the United States for the common purpose of disrupting, by the use of force, intimidation and threat, the approval by Congress of the count of votes cast by members of the Electoral College as required by Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution.” . . .

“…the Defendants each intended to prevent, and ultimately delayed, members of Congress from discharging their duty commanded by the United States Constitution to approve the results of the Electoral College in order to elect the next President and Vice President of the United States,” the lawsuit states. Democrats Push Slavery Reparations Bill Despite Strong Public Opposition and High Price Tag

A slavery reparations proposal, which faces overwhelming public opposition and could cost more than $12 trillion, is picking up support in the Democratic-majority House.

Texas Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee on Wednesday held a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing about H.R. 40, “The “Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans Act.”

The reparations commission would study the history of slavery, the role that federal and state governments played in supporting slavery, and racial discrimination against the descendants of enslaved Africans. The commission would make recommendations regarding “any form of apology” or compensation.

The proposal doesn’t include a price tag, but most estimates suggest it would be well into the trillions of dollars. A 2020 study by William Darity, a professor of public policy at Duke University, and his wife, Kirsten Mullen, “From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the Twenty-First Century,” noted it would cost between $10 trillion and $12 trillion.

The legislation last came into focus in 2019 when Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced her support for reparations. Since then, the bill picked up support from over 170 members of Congress, including every single Democratic presidential primary candidate who attended the 2019 National Action Network conference, hosted by Al Sharpton. Jeff Bezos Overtakes Elon Musk as Richest Person in the World

Jeff Bezos has overtaken Elon Musk as the world’s richest person, reclaiming his title and ending Musk’s short-lived reign with the title.

Musk, who surged to the top of the list in January after Tesla’s (TSLA) stock was booming, was knocked back into second place on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index list as of Feb. 16. Musk lost around $4.5 billion as Tesla lost about 2.4% of their shares, CNN Business reported.

In 2020, the 170 million shares of Telsa that Musk previously owned increased in value by $106 billion as stock market shares rose by 743%.

In addition, in Jan. 2021, Musk tweeted out a popular link to a Reddit page, which was generating excitement over GameStop (GME) stocks. Musk appeared to be cheering on Reddit users who were purchasing numerous GameStop stocks over Wall Street brokers.

School Principal Urges Parents to Become ‘White Abolitionists’ With Propaganda Graphic

A New York college prep school sent white parents literary materials asking them to identify their “level” of whiteness, ranging from “white supremacist,” which is depicted in red, to “white abolitionist,” depicted in green.

According to race education watchdog Christopher Rufo, white parents of sixth- through 12th-graders received the “tool for action” from the principal of East Side Community School asking them to work toward becoming white traitors and abolitionists by “subverting white authority” as well as “changing institutions, dismantling whiteness, and not allowing whiteness to reassert itself.” . . .

The curriculum, authored by Barnor Hesse, an associate professor of African American studies, political science, and sociology at Northwestern University, weaponizes language such as “superiority” and “white regime” to challenge people who operate without fully acknowledging the “burden of Blackness.”

“There is a regime of whiteness, and there are action-oriented white identities. People who identify with whiteness are one of these. It’s about time we build an ethnography of whiteness, since white people have been the ones writing about and governing Others,” the list reads. State Removes 177,000 Voters From Voter Rolls After Legal Challenge

The Michigan secretary of state removed 177,000 inactive voters from the state’s voter rolls after settling a legal challenge.

The state removed the names from the voter rolls in late January because the voters no longer live in the state or did not respond to the state’s inquiries about their addresses, according to a Tuesday district court announcement. The state performed the post-election audit during a legal battle with the Honest Elections Project, an election watchdog.

Jason Snead, head of the Honest Elections Project, which supported the lawsuit, said the state’s decision to remove the voters will help combat any allegations of voter fraud. “The last thing that we want is to create a system in which you could have widespread voter fraud or where it’s impossible to debunk false allegations of widespread voter fraud because you are undermining or failing to act on the necessary measures that help to prevent fraud and bolster confidence in the democratic process,” he said.
