This Isn’t Satire: Liberal Media Fawn Over Biden’s Bedtime, Fireplace and Video Game-Playing

The establishment media is fawning over President Joe Biden’s early bedtimes, his use of the Oval office fireplace and even his video game-playing habits as we’ve entered into a new era in media coverage of the White House. . .

Of course, we knew to a degree with would happen. The activist media told us as much. But so far, some of the recent reports feel like satire.

Rather than focus on those who could lose potentially everything through Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline with the stroke of a pen, or his community-straining executive orders on immigration, CNN on Monday wrote a story about how Biden sometimes like to put a log on the fire in the White House fireplace before calling a lid and going to sleep.

Biden Dismisses Uighur Genocide as Part of China’s ‘Different Norms’

President Biden is dismissing the genocide against the Uighur population in China, dubbing the mass internment a “different norm” — despite the State Department this month responding to “atrocities” in the camps, following reports of systemic rape and torture.

The commander-in-chief made the remarks after being asked during his CNN town hall Tuesday evening about his recent conversation with his Chinese counterpart, starting his response by relaying Xi’s justification for the abuses.

“If you know anything about Chinese history, it has always been, the time when China has been victimized by the outer world is when they haven’t been unified at home,” Biden began. “So the central — well, vastly overstated — the central principle of Xi Jinping is that there must be a united, tightly controlled China. And he uses his rationale for the things he does based on that.” . . .

“I point out to him no American president can be sustained as a president, if he doesn’t reflect the values of the United States,” the US president continued. “And so the idea is that I am not going to speak out against what he’s doing in Hong Kong, what he’s doing with the Uighurs in western mountains of China and Taiwan — trying to end the one China policy by making it forceful … [Xi] gets it.”

“Culturally there are different norms that each country and their leaders are expected to follow,” he continued. (Read more from “Biden Dismisses Uighur Genocide as Part of China’s ‘Different Norms’” HERE)

President Harris? Kamala Taking Calls With Foreign Leaders in Place of Biden

Weeks into office, Vice President Kamala Harris is reportedly taking calls with foreign leaders on behalf of President Joe Biden.

On Monday, Harris held her second call with a foreign world leader when she spoke to French President Emmanuel Macron, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

Earlier this month, the Veep had a telephone call with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and spoke to the World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in January.

As noted by the Post, Harris’ predecessor Vice President Mike Pence “occasionally spoke directly by phone with foreign leaders, but that role generally was performed by former President Donald Trump, especially last year.”

“A review of press notices from Pence’s final year in office reveals no readouts of direct calls with the leaders of foreign nations,” the Post added.

State Passes Bill Banning Nearly All Abortions — and Democrats Throw a Temper Tantrum (VIDEO)

The South Carolina state legislature passed a major piece of legislation Wednesday banning nearly all abortions in the state — and now the bill is on its way to the governor’s desk to be signed into law.

The bill, known as the “South Carolina Fetal Heartbeat and Protection from Abortion Act,” passed the state House by a vote of 79 to 35 Wednesday afternoon, according to the Associated Press. Late last month, the state Senate voted 30 to 13 in favor of the proposal.

Under the legislation, doctors are required to perform ultrasounds on pregnant mothers seeking an abortion to check if the baby has a heartbeat. Should a heartbeat be detected, the abortion is outlawed except for in rare cases where the pregnancy was caused by rape or incest or the mother’s life is in danger. . .

The State reported that nearly every Democratic member of the House walked out of the chamber as the bill was taken up for debate on Wednesday. Only a few Democrats remained in the chamber for the debate.

One lawmaker, Rep. Jonathan Hill, even stormed out of the building while tossing his amendments to the proposal up in the air. As he left, Republican House Speaker Jay Lucas reportedly said, “If you want to engage in such childish behavior the sergeants will make sure you’re not here with us.”

Left-Wing Media Outlets Paid Antifa Activist for Footage From Capitol Breach

Three news agencies paid a man who identifies as an Antifa activist and was charged with allegedly committing crimes during the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol for video footage he captured during the mayhem.

CNN, NBC, and the Australian Broadcasting Corp. (ABC) paid John Earle Sullivan thousands of dollars to use video clips he shot inside the building, according to a new court filing.

CNN paid $35,000, NBC paid $35,000, and ABC paid $2,375, according to invoices that were filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Sullivan, 26, was arrested and charged last month with multiple crimes on Jan. 6, including violent entry, civil disorder, and disorderly conduct. . .

Video footage, some of which was filmed by Sullivan, showed the Utah man illegally entering the Capitol building and urging others to go inside and burn the structure down. Conservative Icon, Talk Radio Pioneer Rush Limbaugh Has Passed Away

By Fox News. Rush Limbaugh, the monumentally influential media icon who transformed talk radio and politics in his decades behind the microphone, helping shape the modern-day Republican Party, died Wednesday morning at the age of 70 after a battle with lung cancer, his family announced.

Limbaugh’s wife, Kathryn, made the announcement on his radio show. “Losing a loved one is terribly difficult, even more so when that loved one is larger than life,” she said. “Rush will forever be the greatest of all time.”

The radio icon learned he had Stage IV lung cancer in January 2020 and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Trump at the State of the Union address days later. First lady Melania Trump then presented America’s highest civilian honor to Limbaugh in an emotional moment on the heels of his devastating cancer diagnosis.

Limbaugh is considered one of the most influential media figures in American history and has played a consequential role in conservative politics since “The Rush Limbaugh Show” began in 1988. Perched behind his Golden EIB (Excellence in Broadcasting) Microphone, Limbaugh spent over three decades as arguably both the most beloved and polarizing person in American media.

The program that began 33 years ago on national syndication with only 56 radio stations grew to be the most listened-to radio show in the United States, airing on more than 600 stations, according to the show’s website. Up to 27 million people tuned in on a weekly basis and Limbaugh has lovingly referred to his passionate fan base as “Dittoheads,” as they would often say “ditto” when agreeing with the iconic radio host. Trump Sparks a GOP Civil War With SCATHING McConnell Rebuke; These 3 Republicans Have Broken With Mitch McConnell to Stand With Trump

By PJ Media. On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump released a scathing denunciation of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), launching a civil war in the Republican Party. In a speech after the Senate voted to acquit Trump on charges of impeachment related to the Capitol riot on January 6, McConnell had echoed Democratic talking points, explaining that he only voted to acquit Trump because he thought it unconstitutional to convict a former president who had already left office.

“Mitch is a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack, and if Republican Senators are going to stay with him, they will not win again. He will never do what needs to be done, or what is right for our Country,” Trump declared. “Where necessary and appropriate, I will back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great Again and our policy of America First.”

On Sunday, McConnell had condemned Trump for “false statements, conspiracy theories, and reckless hyperbole” after the 2020 election. He also condemned “the increasingly wild myths — myths — about a reversed landslide election.” McConnell acknowledged that Democrats have engaged in reckless remarks that may have incited violence, but he insisted that Trump’s rhetoric was worse. . .

“The Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with political ‘leaders’ like Sen. Mitch McConnell at its helm,” Trump declared. “McConnell’s dedication to business as usual, status quo policies, together with his lack of political insight, wisdom, skill, and personality, has rapidly driven him from Majority Leader to Minority Leader, and it will only get worse. The Democrats and Chuck Schumer play McConnell like a fiddle—they’ve never had it so good—and they want to keep it that way!” (Read more from “Trump Sparks a GOP Civil War With SCATHING McConnell Rebuke” HERE)

These 3 Republicans Have Broken With Mitch McConnell to Stand With Trump

By Newsweek. Three Republican congress members have criticized Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for his February 13 speech blaming Donald Trump for inciting the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol. . .

On Monday, Florida Representative Matt Gaetz criticized McConnell in a Fox News interview, calling him part of the “new incarnations in the Republican party from those trying to purge Trumpism from our movement.” . . .

On Monday, Republican Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson also criticized McConnell’s remarks. . .

In a Sunday interview with Fox News, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said that McConnell’s speech “is an outlier regarding how Republicans feel about all this.” While McConnell “got a load off his chest,” Graham said, he “unfortunately he put a load on the back of Republicans.” (Read more from “These 3 Republicans Have Broken With Mitch McConnell to Stand With Trump” HERE)

Trump Says GOP Won’t Win With McConnell, Plans to Back MAGA Primary Candidates

By The Epoch Times. Former President Donald Trump, in a strongly-worded statement, criticized Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) leadership and said the Republican Party won’t be successful in the future with McConnell at the helm.

The former president’s statement, which was released through his Save America PAC on Feb. 15, blamed McConnell for the GOP’s 2020 loss of the Senate majority. He asserted that McConnell’s move not to support calls from Democrats and Trump for $2,000 stimulus payments was weaponized by Democrats, who promised the checks to voters if they won the Jan. 5 runoff elections in Georgia.

“He will never do what needs to be done, or what is right for our Country. Where necessary and appropriate, I will back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great Again and our policy of America First. We want brilliant, strong, thoughtful, and compassionate leadership,” Trump said.

“Then came the Georgia disaster, where we should have won both U.S. Senate seats, but McConnell matched the Democrat offer of $2,000 stimulus checks with $600. How does that work?” the former president added. “It became the Democrats’ principal advertisement, and a big winner for them it was.” (Read more from “Trump Says GOP Won’t Win With McConnell, Plans to Back MAGA Primary Candidates” HERE)

State Senators Say Time Is Right to Revoke Andrew Cuomo’s Emergency Powers

Some of New York’s Democratic state senators have joined their Republican colleagues in saying that the time is right to revoke Governor Andrew Cuomo’s expanded emergency powers, which were put in place last spring in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Republicans in the state legislature have been asking for Cuomo’s expanded emergency powers to be revoked for months, but their calls to do so recently received support from a handful of Democratic lawmakers. Fourteen Democratic state senators released a joint statement on February 12 calling for an early revocation of those emergency powers, which they said were “no longer appropriate” for Cuomo to possess.

“While COVID-19 has tested the limits of our people and state–and, early during the pandemic, required the government to restructure decision making to render rapid, necessary public health judgments—it is clear that the expanded emergency powers granted to the Governor are no longer acceptable,” the senators’ joint statement said. White House Press Aide Who Threatened Female Reporter Resigns (VIDEO)

White House deputy press secretary T.J. Ducklo resigned on Saturday after his threat to “destroy” a female reporter became public. The threat was made in January in a phone call between Ducklo and Politico reporter Tara Palmeri, who was looking into Ducklo’s relationship with another journalist, Axios reporter Alexi McCammond. “I will destroy you,” Ducklo reportedly told her.

CBS News reports that Ducklo issued a statement:

In a statement, press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed the resignation on Saturday, saying she had a discussion with Ducklo on Saturday evening. White House chief of staff Ron Klain supported the conversation, she added.

“We are committed to striving every day to meet the standard set by the President in treating others with dignity and respect, with civility and with a value for others through our words and our actions,” Psaki said.
