Trump Admin Officials Blast LA Mayor Karen Bass’ Response to Ice Raids — as Cops Clash With Violent Protesters

Several Trump administration officials fired back at Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass Friday after she pledged to oppose federal efforts to nab illegal immigrants — as cops in her city had to use flash bangs to disperse the violent mob of protesters who descended on the arrest sites.

“We will not stand for this,” Bass said in a statement released after federal immigration authorities arrested 44 people in raids across Los Angeles.

“I am deeply angered by what has taken place,” the Democrat mayor fumed, noting that her office “is in close coordination with immigrant rights community organizations.”

White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller quickly dismissed Bass’ declaration.

“You have no say in this at all,” Miller shot back on social media.

“Federal law is supreme and federal law will be enforced,” he noted on X. (Read more from “Trump Admin Officials Blast LA Mayor Karen Bass’ Response to Ice Raids — as Cops Clash With Violent Protesters” HERE)

FBI Boss Kash Patel Has This Response to Musk Threat to Expose Trump in Jeffrey Epstein Files

FBI Director Kash Patel was in the middle of a two-hour interview on the “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast Thursday when Elon Musk boldly claimed that President Trump’s presence in the Jeffrey Epstein files is why Attorney General Pam Bondi has yet to release them in full.

“I’m not participating in any of that conversation between Elon and Trump,” a surprised Patel said after learning of the shocking statement by the world’s richest man.

“Time to drop the really big bomb,” Musk,53, tweeted in the middle of a multi-hour rant against the president.

“[Donald Trump] is in the Epstein files. That’s the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT.”

“Jesus Christ,” Rogan said after reading out the message. “That’s a crazy thing to say. How does he know? Does he know that Donald Trump is in the Epstein files? Or does he have access to the Epstein files?”

Patel responded that he didn’t “know how he would” know anything about the contents of the Epstein files, but declined to speak further about the feud. (Read more from “FBI Boss Kash Patel Has This Response to Musk Threat to Expose Trump in Jeffrey Epstein Files” HERE)

Trump DOJ Warns WI Elections Regulator To Stop Breaking The Law

The U.S. Department of Justice is warning the Wisconsin Elections Commission that it is violating federal law, and the state regulator could pay a hefty price.

In a letter sent Wednesday to the WEC, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon asserts the agency has failed to follow key provisions of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA). The letter notes the controversial commission has no real means of policing itself.

“Quite surprisingly, we have learned that the Wisconsin Elections Commission has refused to provide any administrative complaint process or hearing regarding HAVA complaints against the Commission. Rather, Wisconsin has decided to rely on a 2022 state [Supreme] court case opining that the Commission cannot police itself,” the letter states.

HAVA is clear. It requires each state to have an administrative complaint giving voters the ability to file a HAVA violation complaint that they see or experience while voting. States must meet the requirement in order to receive federal funding under HAVA.

But the Wisconsin Supreme Court decision complicated matters. The ruling by the conservative-led court at the time found the use of widespread absentee ballot drop boxes against the law but it also ended the process of WEC — or outside counsel for WEC — investigating itself. But that change would seem to stand in conflict with HAVA law, according to the Justice Department. (Read more from “Trump DOJ Warns WI Elections Regulator To Stop Breaking The Law” HERE)

Ohr Memo Confirms Clinton Team Had Early Knowledge of Ukrainian Black Ledger

The newly released Nellie Ohr documents from Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, have already made waves for two major reasons. First, they show the FBI concluded Nellie Ohr lied to Congress and then failed to act on it. Second, they revealed an internal FBI “black hole” filing system designed to bury evidence that contradicted or disproved the Donald Trump-Russia narrative, shielding it not just from the public but from the FBI’s own agents.

Yet there’s more. Buried in the release is also confirmation of another key aspect of how the Russiagate smear unfolded, one that has so far escaped much attention: Clinton campaign operative Ohr appears to have had advance knowledge of the so-called “black ledger” operation by Ukrainian officials.

This operation ultimately led to the political downfall of Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort in 2016. This information also provides more evidence that it wasn’t Trump who colluded with foreign powers against domestic opponents — it was Democrats.

While the broad outlines of this connection between the Clinton campaign and Ukraine have been known for some time, the newly released documents reveal the FBI was aware of Ohr’s foreknowledge as early as 2019. That’s when a report on her activities was written — but the FBI took no action.

Notably, this was before the first impeachment of President Trump, which was triggered by his inquiries into corruption in Ukraine. This detail confirms the strong likelihood that the Clinton campaign was more directly involved in the Ukrainian effort to smear Trump than was previously acknowledged. Trump Says Musk Has ‘Lost His Mind’

US President Donald Trump said Friday that Elon Musk had “lost his mind” but insisted he wanted to move on from the fiery split with his billionaire former ally. . .

“Honestly I’ve been so busy working on China, working on Russia, working on Iran… I’m not thinking about Elon Musk, I just wish him well,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One en route to his New Jersey golf club late Friday.

Earlier, Trump told US broadcasters that he now wanted to focus instead on passing his “big, beautiful” mega-bill before Congress — Musk’s harsh criticism of which had sparked their break-up.

But the 78-year-old Republican could not stop himself from taking aim at his South African-born friend-turned-enemy.

“You mean the man who has lost his mind?” Trump said in a call with ABC when asked about Musk, adding that he was “not particularly” interested in talking to the tycoon. (Read more from “Trump Says Musk Has ‘Lost His Mind’” HERE)

Donald Trump ‘Very Surprised,’ ‘Disappointed’ by Elon Musk’s Harsh Criticism of Big Beautiful Bill; Trump Accuses Elon Musk of ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump on Thursday said he was “very surprised” and “disappointed” by Elon Musk’s sharp criticism of the Big Beautiful Bill.

“I’ve always liked Elon. And so I was very surprised. You saw the words he had for me, and he hasn’t said anything about me that’s bad. I’d rather have him criticize me than the bill. Because the bill is incredible,” Trump said during a White House meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

“Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will any more,” he added.

The 47th president said that the Tesla CEO’s problem with the Big Beautiful Bill revolves mostly around the legislation’s elimination of electric vehicle tax credits, and noted that Musk was aware of the policy “from the beginning.”

“He knew every aspect of this bill. He knew it better than almost anybody. And he never had a problem until right after he left. I’m very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot,” Trump remarked.

Trump Accuses Elon Musk of ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’

By Daily Caller. President Donald Trump explained why he thinks Elon Musk is upset with him and his bill, and he hinted at the future of their friendship during his Oval Office meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz Thursday.

After the House of Representatives passed Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” which incorporates many aspects of his legislative agenda, Elon Musk began repeatedly blasting the act on X. Trump addressed the criticism, telling reporters that Musk is upset because they took the electric vehicle (EV) mandate out of the bill.

“I’m very disappointed, because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill better than almost anybody sitting here, better than you people, he knew everything about it. He had no problem with it,” Trump said.

“All of a sudden he had a problem, and he only developed the problem when he found out that we’re going to have to cut the EV mandate, because that’s billions and billions of dollars, and it really is unfair We want to have cars of all types, electric. We want to have electric, but we want to have a gasoline combustion we want to have different. We want to have hybrids. We want to have all. We want to be able to sell everything,” he continued.

“And when that was cut, and Congress wanted to cut it, it became a little bit different, and I can understand that, but he knew every aspect of this bill,” he added. (Read more from “Trump Accuses Elon Musk of ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’” HERE)

The Reactions to This Elon-Trump War Have Been Spectacular

What a day it has been. It’s been full-blown insanity as former Trump senior adviser Elon Musk went nuclear on Donald Trump. It’s the culmination of days of back-and-forth sparring between Musk, Trump, and congressional Republicans on the budget reconciliation package, which the Tesla CEO strongly opposes.

Elon then launched an ICBM strike, claiming that the president was in the Epstein Files, which explains the delayed release. He later said Trump’s tariff policy would cause a recession and agreed that the president should be impeached. The memes that will come out of this will be top-notch. It’s a headache we don’t need, but we cannot deny the content has been gold. Even Kanye weighed in, which I’m not sure is a good thing:

State Department To Destroy $13 Million In Biden Era Contraceptives

The State Department is destroying $13 million worth of contraceptives, The Daily Wire has learned, in addition to saving nearly $31 million by canceling contraceptive orders placed by President Joe Biden’s administration.

The contraceptives — including everything from hormonal birth control pills to birth control implants — were set to be distributed abroad through the U.S. Agency for International Development. But the State Department now says the Biden administration purchased much of these contraceptives in violation of the Kemp-Kasten Amendment, which prevents U.S. funds from going to organizations that support or participate in programs of coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization.

There were some interested buyers, a State Department official said, but they were deemed ineligible since they support organizations involved in coercive abortion and sterilization. Those buyers reportedly included the Gates Foundation, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and the United Nations Population Fund. None of these organizations immediately responded to requests for comment.

A State Department official noted that it would cost the department several million dollars to sell the materials to other vendors, given that the department would have to rebrand some of these materials. Destroying the contraceptives, meanwhile, would cost taxpayers around $167,000, the official said. Doing so also avoids potential further violations of the Kemp-Kasten Amendment and ensures the materials don’t fall into the wrong hands — something that has happened before with USAID, according to the State Department. Sheriff Warns Locals in Manhunt for Suspected Killer Dad

A Washington state survivalist has been on the run from authorities for nearly a week after allegedly killing his three young daughters, who were found with plastic bags over their heads and bound wrists at a campground in Chelan County Monday.

Travis Caleb Decker, 32, did not have custody of the girls – all of whom are believed to have died from asphyxiation. Decker spent time in the military and is an avid outdoorsman, according to authorities.

“We’re getting more confirmation, that he might have possibly gone through Mountain Survival School,” Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison told reporters Wednesday. “But we also know, too, that he’s been an outdoorsman since he was a kid.”

On Thursday, he released a new photo showing Decker’s tattoos and said search warrants had generated leads. He urged homeowners and people with mountain cabins to lock their doors – including to sheds and outbuildings, leave their blinds open and turn on outdoor lighting.

The children were ages 5, 8 and 9, and Decker’s ex-wife Whitney Decker, 35, told police Monday that he had failed to bring the girls back to her after a Friday visit under the terms of their court-ordered parenting plan, according to court documents. Supreme Court Unanimously Sides With Woman Who Says She Lost Job For Not Being Gay

The Supreme Court unanimously sided with a woman on Thursday who claimed her employer discriminated against her because she is straight.

The court held that members of majority groups should not have to face a “heightened evidentiary standard” to prove a discrimination claim.

“By establishing the same protections for every ‘individual’ —without regard to that individual’s membership in a minority or majority group—Congress left no room for courts to impose special requirements on majority-group plaintiffs alone,” Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote in the court’s opinion.
