Nearly One-Quarter of US Public School Enrollment Could Be Anchor Babies

few simple calculations indicate that as much as one-quarter of U.S. public school enrollment could be anchor babies, meaning children with at least one parent illegally present in the United States. This alone amounts to at least $145.6 billion in public resources diverted from U.S. citizens every year.

Here’s the math. In April, the Kaiser Family Foundation estimated that 17 percent of school-age children, or nine million kids, in the United States are children of at least one illegal alien. The New York Times has reported on the estimate. Some of these children are also foreign citizens, while some were born in the United States. Under a longstanding court misinterpretation, being born in the United States currently confers U.S. citizenship. Almost no other developed countries confer citizenship solely by birth location.

That’s already one in six kids in the United States who are legally subject to deportation to continue living with their parents. If you also assume that all of this population attends public schools, the percentage is more than 17. That’s because only 80 percent of U.S. kids attend a traditional public school, according to 2024 figures from EdChoice.

There were 50 million school-age kids in the United States in 2024, according to ChildStats.gov (adding in the five-year-olds to match the anchor baby age range and assuming there were 4 million of them, an equal age distribution among the 0-5 figure). Eighty percent of 50 is 40, so 40 million of the total 50 million U.S. kids went to public schools in 2024. Nine million anchor babies out of that total 40 million public-school attendees suggests 22.5 percent of U.S. public school enrollment could be anchor babies.

Why This Is a Reasonable Figure

Yes, these are estimates, and some very broad math. If anything, however, official estimates tend underestimate illegal migration, given its, well, illegal and illicit nature. So it’s absolutely within a reasonable range to assume somewhere around a quarter of U.S, public school enrollment is anchor babies. Democratic Rep Says America Needs Migrants to Wipe Asses

Democratic Vermont Rep. Becca Balint said during a town hall in Newport on May 29 that America’s reliance on migrant labor is no longer a political issue but an issue of national survival.

Balint held a town hall where she engaged with constituents, responded to their questions, and outlined her efforts in Congress. She is now under fire for suggesting that President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown will leave Vermonters without “anyone around to wipe our asses.”

“We have to come to a place in Congress where it is no longer a political issue, but we see it as an existential issue for the country. If we don’t have avenues for people to come here legally to work or to build a home here,” Balint said.

Balint then pointed out what she said was the critical need for migrant labor, suggesting the nation’s survival depends on it.

“I’m going to be really crude right now. We’re not going to have anybody around to wipe our asses because we don’t have enough people to fill the jobs that we have right now,” Balint said. (Read more from “Democratic Rep Says America Needs Migrants to Wipe Asses” HERE)

Biden Adamant ‘I Made the Decisions’ in Office After Trump Orders Probe of Autopen Use

Former President Joe Biden was adamant that he “made the decisions” and defended his use of an autopen during his presidency, hours after President Trump ordered an investigation.

Trump directed US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Wednesday to open a probe and mused that some of Biden’s aides may have used the autopen system to get away with making key decisions for the 46th president, chiding that his mental acuity had declined.

“I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations. Any suggestion that I didn’t is ridiculous and false,” Biden said in a statement.

“This is nothing more than a distraction by Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans who are working to push disastrous legislation that would cut essential programs like Medicaid and raise costs on American families, all to pay for tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and big corporations.”

Shortly after his departure from the White House, the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project uncovered evidence that the 46th president had used an autopen — a device to produce his signature — on a slew of key documents such as proclamations, pardons, and executive orders. New Analysis Reflects That Dead Sea Scrolls May Date to Time of Their Biblical Authors

In a recent development, AI has been deployed to date the Dead Sea Scrolls with astounding accuracy, radically challenging misconceptions regarding their age and the historical timelines they fall under.

The results show that several of the Scrolls might actually be much older than what is assumed, and in some cases, could be from the era of the biblical figures that supposedly wrote them.

Pioneered by the University of Groningen, this multidisciplinary work merges radiocarbon dating, ancient handwriting analysis, and machine learning.

The outcome is Enoch, the first AI system that can derive probabilistic dates from the script of Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts, providing estimates based solely on the script’s stylistic elements.

“With the Enoch tool we have opened a new door into the ancient world, like a time machine, that allows us to study the hands that wrote the Bible, especially now that we have established, for the first time, that two biblical scroll fragments come from the time of their presumed authors,” say the authors. Woke Mayor Slammed by Top US Prosecutor for ‘Reckless’ Comments About ICE ‘Secret Police’

The top federal prosecutor in Massachusetts blasted Boston’s woke mayor — accusing her of putting ICE agents at risk by claiming the feds are acting like “secret police” in rounding up illegal migrants.

US Attorney Leah Foley name-checked Mayor Michelle Wu after Wu voiced concerns over the weekend about the spate of recent ICE arrests — saying people in the sanctuary city were getting snatched off the street by “secret police who are wearing masks.”

Foley quickly ripped Wu’s remarks as “reckless and inflammatory.”

“There are no secrets. ICE agents, along with other federal law enforcement partners, are making immigration arrests. That is no secret. They are arresting individuals who are here illegally, which is a violation of federal law,” Foley said.

“We will not apologize for doing our job,” Foley added in the fiery video statement. (Read more from “Woke Mayor Slammed by Top US Prosecutor for ‘Reckless’ Comments About ICE ‘Secret Police’” HERE)

Trump Wants Debt Limit ‘Scrapped’ to Protect America From ‘Economic Catastrophe’

President Donald Trump shared on Wednesday that he wants the debt limit “scrapped,” which Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has also called for.

Trump issued a statement on Truth Social Wednesday afternoon.

Trump shared an image of a post on X that Warren put out Friday, in which she advocated for legislation to do away with the debt ceiling. . .

“But Elizabeth Warren….her whole career, she wanted to see it terminated, gotten rid of, not being voted on every five years or ten years, and the reason was because it’s so catastrophic for our country. And I always agreed with her,” Trump said.

“She happened to be right on that it should be gotten rid of, or it should simply be extended,” Trump added. “But that’s one of the things that gets taken care of in this bill–that automatically gets extended for a four-year period, and it should be.” (Read more from “Trump Wants Debt Limit ‘Scrapped’ to Protect America From ‘Economic Catastrophe’” HERE)

This Is How Much Your Home Is Worth in Gold—As Florida Recognizes 2 Precious Metals as Legal Tender

Florida has taken a major step toward treating gold and silver as legal tender, opening the door for homebuyers to use the precious metals.

Gov. Ron DeSantis on May 27 signed a bill into law to recognize gold and silver coins in payments in the Sunshine State, making Florida one of a dozen states to move in that direction, including Louisiana, Texas, and Utah.

The new law, which goes into effect on July 1, 2026, requires all gold and silver coins to be stamped with weight, purity, and mint of origin.

Additionally, purchases of gold and silver will be free from sales tax, and money service businesses, such as PayPal and check-cashing places, will be authorized to transmit and accept payments in precious metals. . .

DeSantis touted the bill, known as HB 999, as a “landmark piece of legislation” that offers Floridians greater independence and spares them from being “wedded to a fiat currency.” He pledged the law will transform gold and silver into “real currency again” and not “just investment vehicles for the wealthy.” (Read more from “This Is How Much Your Home Is Worth in Gold—As Florida Recognizes 2 Precious Metals as Legal Tender” HERE)

Army Hits Recruiting Goal of 61,000 Soldiers 4 Months Early

The Army has met its fiscal 2025 recruiting goal four months early, signing 61,000 contracts for new active duty soldiers, officials announced Tuesday.

“This achievement represents a significant turning point for the Army and indicates a renewed sense of patriotism and purpose among America’s youth,” the Army said in a release.

The goal was 10% higher than the 55,000 recruits the Army sought last year. Average contracts per day exceeded last year’s levels by as much as 56% during the same period, according to the release.

“I’m incredibly proud of our U.S. Army recruiters and drill sergeants,” said Army Secretary Dan Driscoll. “Their colossal efforts and dedication to duty helped the U.S. Army accomplish our FY25 annual recruiting goal a full four months ahead of schedule.”

Last year marked the first time the Army had reached its recruiting goals in two years. (Read more from “Army Hits Recruiting Goal of 61,000 Soldiers 4 Months Early” HERE)

Trump Says Talk With Putin Won’t ‘Lead to Immediate Peace’

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin via phone call in a conversation that was “good” but will not “lead to immediate peace,” as Putin insists he will respond to Ukraine’s recent attack.

Trump took to Truth Social midday to share that he spoke with Putin for about an hour and fifteen minutes.

“We discussed the attack on Russia’s docked airplanes, by Ukraine, and also various other attacks that have been taking place by both sides. It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate Peace,” Trump said.

Per the Associated Press, the drone attack destroyed 40 Russian planes.

“President Putin did say, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airfields,” Trump added. (Read more from “Trump Says Talk With Putin Won’t ‘Lead to Immediate Peace’” HERE)

Elon Musk Turns on Trump, Calls President’s ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ a ‘Disgusting Abomination’

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk criticized President Donald Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill” and declared the bill a “pork-filled Congressional spending bill” and “a disgusting abomination.”

“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk wrote in a post on X. “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.”

“Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong,” Musk added. “You know it.”

Musk’s criticism of the bill comes as the House of Representatives voted 215-214-1 in May to pass the tax and spending bill, which “contains numerous elements of Trump’s far-reaching agenda,” Breitbart News reported in May:

The multi-trillion dollar tax break package contains numerous elements of Trump’s far-reaching agenda and has been delivered via an all-night session.

These include extending tax cuts passed in 2017, eliminating taxes on tips, and spending more on defense and border security, while making government healthcare programs more accountable.
