‘60 Minutes’ Investigates $1 Trillion Lost to Fraud and America’s Compromised Personal Information

A stunning report from “60 Minutes” supported some of the more shocking claims of egregious fraud and abuse in federal spending by President Donald Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency.

The report aired Sunday evening and included interviews with Bryan Vorndran, the head of the FBI’s cyber division, as well as fraud expert Linda Miller, who worked at the U.S. Government Accountability Office.

Miller said she was glad to see that tech billionaire Elon Musk, who headed up DOGE, was making the issue of fraud such a public issue.

“To be honest, Elon Musk coming out and saying, ‘There is a huge amount of fraud,’ I welcome that message completely because finally, someone is actually saying this,” she said.

She said that much of the fraud was from foreign state actors, mostly from Russia and China. She estimated that the total amount of federal money lost through fraud every year was between $550 billion and $750 billion, and is nearing a trillion. Harvard Bargains With Trump Administration And Loses Another $450 Million In Federal Grants

Harvard University President Alan Garber sent a letter to Secretary of Education Linda McMahon Monday asking for the ability to address issues on campus, such as antisemitism and discrimination, without federal oversight, prompting the Trump administration to revoke additional grants from the school Tuesday.

Garber’s letter highlighted Harvard’s shared interest in tackling discrimination but argued that the administration’s recent decision to cut over $2 billion in federal grants from the school — due to its alleged failure to protect Jewish students and continued use of affirmative action policies — harmed its independence and ability to institute change. While Garber recently promised to address the problems identified by the Department of Education (ED), he declined to bend the knee to the department’s prior demands, stating the school had its own plan for dealing with the situation, resulting in the administration cutting an additional $450 million in federal grants.

“[W]e share common ground on a number of critical issues, including the importance of ending antisemitism and other bigotry on campus. Like you, I believe that Harvard must foster an academic environment that encourages freedom of thought and expression, and that we should embrace a multiplicity of viewpoints rather than focusing our attention on narrow orthodoxies,” Garber’s letter reads. “Harvard’s efforts to achieve these goals are undermined and threatened by the federal government’s overreach into the constitutional freedoms of private universities and its continuing disregard of Harvard’s compliance with the law. It ignores the many meaningful steps we have taken and will continue to take to live up to our principles and improve the lives of people across the country and throughout the world.”

In a joint statement released Tuesday by the Joint Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, ED, alongside the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and General Services Administration (GSA), declined Harvard’s negotiations, stating the school had a “shameful legacy” of failing to comply with civil rights laws.

“Harvard University has repeatedly failed to confront the pervasive race discrimination and anti-Semitic harassment plaguing its campus,” the task force said. “Harvard’s campus, once a symbol of academic prestige, has become a breeding ground for virtue signaling and discrimination. This is not leadership; it is cowardice. And it’s not academic freedom; it’s institutional disenfranchisement. There is a dark problem on Harvard’s campus, and by prioritizing appeasement over accountability, institutional leaders have forfeited the school’s claim to taxpayer support.” (Read more from “Harvard Bargains With Trump Administration And Loses Another $450 Million In Federal Grants” HERE)

FDA and RFK Jr. Seek to Eliminate Fluoride Supplements for Children’s Dental Health

U.S. health regulators announced plans Tuesday to phase out fluoride-containing supplements sometimes used to strengthen children’s teeth, opening a new front in Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s effort against a mainstay of dental care.

The Food and Drug Administration said it will conduct a scientific review of the products by late October with the aim of removing them from the market. It was not immediately clear whether the agency planned to formally ban the supplements or simply request that companies withdraw them.

The products targeted by the FDA are sometimes recommended for children and teens who are at increased risk of tooth decay or cavities because of low fluoride in their local drinking water. They usually require a prescription from a pediatrician or dentist. Fluoride-based tablets and lozenges are designed to be chewed or swallowed. Companies also sell drops for babies and infants. Trump Is Right To Prioritize Refugees Who Will Make Better Americans

On Monday, dozens of South Africans — primarily white Afrikaner farmers — arrived in the United States, having been granted refugee status by the Trump administration. The propaganda press responded by implicitly accusing the administration of hypocrisy and racial bias. Yet this criticism is not only disingenuous — it reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of the purpose and limits of America’s refugee and asylum policies.

A new South African law means white farmers could have their land taken away without being paid for it. Though framed as a correction to apartheid-era injustice, the law has created an environment where racially motivated persecution may become institutionalized. In response, the Trump administration announced both an investigation into South Africa and the approval of refugee status for 60 individuals fleeing the persecution.

Under current U.S. law, a refugee is described as a foreigner who may face persecution in his home country on the basis of “race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group.”

The refugees will land in Virginia before taking up residence in 10 states, according to The Washington Post.

Teo Armus, writing for The Washington Post, framed the administration’s decision as a racially charged exception: “Trump shut out refugees but is making White South Africans an exception.” (Read more from “Trump Is Right To Prioritize Refugees Who Will Make Better Americans” HERE)

Inside Jeffrey Epstein’s Infamous Island: Shocking Footage Revealed

A video released by O’Keefe Media Group has disclosed images inside convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s residence on his private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The defendant, previously convicted of sex crimes, was in jail in New York awaiting further court action on new allegations when he purportedly committed suicide.

The video comes from OMG and reveals “the first on-site images from within the now-infamous compound since his arrest in 2019 and subsequent death.”

James O’Keefe promised that there will be more video images appearing soon.

He reported the video was taken after Epstein’s 2019 arrest but before authorities sealed off access to Epstein’s lair in the ocean.

“The footage shows Epstein’s kitchen in what has been identified as the island’s ‘main mansion.’ The footage depicts a minimalistic room with white walls, stainless steel appliances, and few decorations. (Read more from “Inside Jeffrey Epstein’s Infamous Island: Shocking Footage Revealed” HERE)

Transgender Athlete Wins Girls’ High School Event As Battleground State School Rebels Against Trump’s Executive Order

. . .As we all know, President Donald Trump inked an executive order to ban transgender athletes from female sports, but the problem is that we still have multiple states who are completely defying the order.

One of those states is Pennsylvania, where they had a trans runner stealing first place recently at the SOL American Conference Championships, specifically the 200-meter race that took place in Horsham.

Formerly known as Sean, Luce Allen won the championship after narrowly “beating” the runner who finished second place, a female. The margin of the finish was less than two-hundredths of a second. Footage from the event shows Allen appearing a lot larger, as well as more muscular, than the females participating.

The parents of Allen stated prior that it would be “cruel” to “force” a biological male to compete against other biological males, and that Allen should be permitted to participate in female running due to that being how the transgender “identifies.”

“My child is a female in her heart and soul, and according to her medical labs. Having her play sports with males would be cruel,” said Sarah Hansen, the mother of Allen, per the Philadelphia Inquirer. Via a lawyer, Allen issued a statement that read, in part, “If you remove the ability of trans people to compete with a team that corresponds with their gender, then you’ll strip them of their opportunity to develop as people.”

Judge Indicted Over Allegedly Helping Illegal Migrant Evade Ice After He Was Accused of Pummeling Victim

The Wisconsin judge who allegedly helped an illegal migrant evade immigration authorities was indicted by a federal jury Tuesday.

Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested last month after being accused of obstruction of justice and concealing Eduardo Flores-Ruiz from arrest at the end of a pre-trial hearing.

The high-profile arrest led to outcry from Democrats as the Department of Justice defended its action against the veteran jurist.

The indictment on Tuesday came at the end of a daylong hearing, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.

She was temporarily relieved of her duties in the aftermath of the arrest late last month. (Read more from “Judge Indicted Over Allegedly Helping Illegal Migrant Evade Ice After He Was Accused of Pummeling Victim” HERE)

Trump’s ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill’ Gets ‘No Tax’ On Tips And Overtime

Two of President Donald Trump’s major tax-related campaign promises that will impact millions of American workers have made it into legislation proposed for the so-called “one big, beautiful bill,” albeit only for a period that would not last beyond his second term.

“No Tax On Tips” and “No Tax On Overtime” appear in a 389-page measure released by the House Ways and Means Committee on Monday, with provisions saying the deductions would expire at the end of 2028.

Another of Trump’s priorities, no tax on auto loan interest, made it into the legislation.

Trump had also been pushing for an end to taxes on Social Security for seniors, however Bloomberg reported that it could not be included due to the “special budget process that Congress is using to advance the tax package.”

Instead, the measure has a section that would allow middle-and low-income seniors to deduct an extra $4,000 for each taxable year. (Read more from “Trump’s ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill’ Gets ‘No Tax’ On Tips And Overtime” HERE)

Criminal Docs Blow Apart Media Narrative About Migrant in El Salvador Prison

A deported illegal migrant whose family claimed he had no criminal history has previously been accused of several crimes, including carrying a loaded firearm near a school in February, records show.

New York police arrested 19-year-old Merwil Gutierrez Flores on Feb. 25 on three felonies and a misdemeanor a day before immigration authorities arrested him, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) document obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. After being sent to prison in El Salvador, Gutierrez-Flores has been at the center of sympathetic media coverage publicizing his family’s claims that “he’s never been accused of a crime.”

The document reveals Gutierrez Flores, a Venezuelan, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, carrying a loaded firearm on school grounds, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and unlawful possession of ammunition feeding devices. President Donald Trump’s FBI contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) about Gutierrez Flores a day later.

The DHS report alleged Gutierrez Flores “has been identified as [an] Associate/Active of” the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. Officials deported Gutierrez Flores to the “Terrorism Confinement Center,” or CECOT, in El Salvador on March 15, the DHS said in a statement to the DCNF.

“Merwil Alberto Gutierrez Flores was deported to CECOT because he is an associate of Tren de Aragua — a foreign terrorist organization — whose criminal record included an arrest for having a loaded firearm and ammunition feeding devices at a school,” DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said. “The Biden Administration released this dangerous criminal into our communities in 2023. President Trump and Secretary [Kristi] Noem are getting these criminals off our streets and out of country.” (Read more from “Criminal Docs Blow Apart Media Narrative About Migrant in El Salvador Prison” HERE)

Pornhub Staff Worried About Going To Jail For Child Porn Downloaded From Their Company’s Own Website, Docs Show

PornHub let child pornography sit untouched on its website for years, including content one employee admitted would put him behind bars “for a long time” if it was found on his computer, discovery documents released in error reveal.

Internal messages, emails and memos from around 2020 reveal the company struggling to clear child pornography from its website while executives debated measures to crack down and staff tasked with removing it made light of the situation.

The documents, first reported by the New York Times’ Nicholas Kristof, are part of discovery in an Alabama class action lawsuit brought by child sex trafficking victims who allege PornHub’s parent company MindGeek financially profited from distributing videos depicting their abuse.

“You guys want to laugh,” one staff member wrote in an April 7, 2020 message. “[I]t caught a cp [child pornography] video from 2009…a full on cp video on the site for 11 years.”

At one point, one staff member was told not to include a superior on child sexual abuse material (CSAM) report emails. (Read more from “Pornhub Staff Worried About Going To Jail For Child Porn Downloaded From Their Company’s Own Website, Docs Show” HERE)
