Recent Poll Reveals Trump Is KILLING IT

By Daily Wire. According to a new Zogby poll, President Trump is killing it. His job approval has climbed over 50%, (51%) the highest of his tenure as president, higher than Barack Obama’s (48%) was at the same time in his presidency.

Additionally, the majority of millennials (18-29) approve of the president (51%); even more of the age group from 25-34 approves of him (53%), and even more of those aged 35-54 (59%). 58% of men approved of Trump, a slim minority of women (48%) approved of him. . .

Zogby wrote, “President Trump’s job approval rating has seen a post Mueller report boost! We called it a few weeks ago. But that’s not the complete story as to why the president has reached a peak in his job approval rating. Trump is also riding high on positive economic news-a record high stock market, low unemployment, and solid GDP growth at home.” (Read more from “Recent Poll Reveals Trump Is Killing It” HERE)

Poll: Most Americans Say Trump’s Trade Talks with China Won’t Improve U.S. Economy

By The Hill. Two-thirds of registered voters said they don’t expect President Trump’s trade negotiations with China to result in better economic conditions for Americans, according to a poll.

In a Hill-HarrisX survey released Monday, 36 percent said the talks would make things worse while 31 percent said they don’t think the negotiations will make a difference. Thirty-three percent said the talks will lead to more jobs and economic opportunities.

Democrats and Republicans were divided in their predictions, but not as starkly as they were on other matters, such as approval of president’s job performance.

Fifty-eight percent of Democrats said they believed Trump’s China negotiations would result in fewer jobs and economic opportunities, compared with 59 percent of Republicans who said they would improve things. Today’s Deep State Crisis Was Predicted 100 Years Ago

Paid Agitators? Deep State? Calvin Coolidge exposes their plan to have “authority over everybody” and “responsible to nobody”.

President Calvin Coolidge warned in a speech given May 15, 1926, at the College of William and Mary: “But there is another … recent development … the greatly disproportionate influence of organized minorities. Artificial propaganda, paid agitators, selfish interests, all impinge upon members of legislative bodies to force them to represent special elements rather than the great body of their constituency. When they are successful, minority rule is established. … The result is an extravagance on the part of the Government which is ruinous to the people and a multiplicity of regulations and restrictions for the conduct of all kinds of necessary business, which becomes little less than oppressive. …”

Coolidge continued, exposing the autocratic deep-state bureaucracy: “No plan of centralization has ever been adopted which did not result in bureaucracy, tyranny, inflexibility, reaction, and decline. Of all forms of government, those administered by bureaus are about the least satisfactory to an enlightened and progressive people. Being irresponsible they become autocratic. … Unless bureaucracy is constantly resisted it breaks down representative government and overwhelms democracy. It … sets up the pretense of having authority over everybody and being responsible to nobody. …”

. . . Calvin Coolidge gave insight into America’s success at maintaining order in his address at the 150th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Philadelphia, July 5, 1926: “The principles … which went into the Declaration of Independence … are found in … the sermons … of the early colonial clergy who were earnestly undertaking to instruct their congregations in the great mystery of how to live. They preached equality because they believed in the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. They justified freedom by the text that we are all created in the divine image. … Placing every man on a plane where he acknowledged no superiors, where no one possessed any right to rule over him, he must inevitably choose his own rulers through a system of self-government. … In order that they might have freedom to express these thoughts and opportunity to put them into action, whole congregations with their pastors migrated to the colonies. …”

Coolidge concluded: “The Declaration of Independence is a great spiritual document. … Equality, liberty, popular sovereignty, the rights of man – these are … ideals. They have their source and their roots in the religious convictions. They belong to the unseen world. Unless the faith of the American in these religious convictions is to endure, the principles of our Declaration will perish. We can not continue to enjoy the result if we neglect and abandon the cause.” (Read more from “Today’s Deep State Crisis Was Predicted 100 Years Ago” HERE)

Even with a Growing Economy, U.S. Birthrate Craters, Hits Record Lows

By AP. America’s baby bust isn’t over. The nation’s birth rates last year reached record lows for women in their teens and 20s, a government report shows, leading to the fewest babies in 32 years.

The provisional report, released Wednesday and based on more than 99% of U.S. birth records, found 3.788 million births last year. It was the fourth year the number of births has fallen, the lowest since 1986 and a surprise to some experts given the improving economy.

The fertility rate of 1.7 births per U.S. woman also fell 2%, meaning the current generation isn’t making enough babies to replace itself. . . If trends continue, experts said, the U.S. can expect labor shortages including in elder care when aging baby boomers need the most support. Alabama Governor Signs Near-Total Abortion Ban

By CBS News. Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey just signed the state’s controversial near-total abortion ban. The new law is the most restrictive anti-abortion measure passed in the United States since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973.

The legislation — House Bill 314, “Human Life Protection Act” — bans all abortions in the state except when “abortion is necessary in order to prevent a serious health risk” to the woman, according to the bill’s text. It criminalizes the procedure, reclassifying abortion as a Class A felony, punishable by up to 99 years in prison for doctors. Attempted abortions will be reclassified as a Class C penalty.

The legislation makes no exceptions for victims or rape or incest.

“Today, I signed into law the Alabama Human Life Protection Act,” Ivey wrote in a statement Wednesday evening. “To the bill’s many supporters, this legislation stands as a powerful testament to Alabamians’ deeply held belief that every life is precious & that every life is a sacred gift from God.” (Read more from “Alabama Governor Signs Near-Total Abortion Ban” HERE)

Expert Psychologist Blocked on Twitter for Expressing Clinical Opinion on Transgenderism

In the early hours of Sunday morning, an expert Ph.D. psychologist who helped write the official psychological position on transgender identity was blocked on Twitter for expressing his opinion informed by clinical experience. His well-reasoned position was flagged for “hateful conduct.”

On Saturday, Ray Blanchard — the Ph.D. psychologist and adjunct professor at the University of Toronto who served on the working group for gender dysphoria (the persistent condition of identifying with the gender opposite your biological sex) for the DSM V, the gold standard of definitions helping psychologists diagnose disorders for patients — tweeted out his clinically-informed opinion on transgender identity.

He still affirmed the controversial idea that sex-change surgery is the “best treatment” for “carefully screened, adult patients, whose gender dysphoria has proven resistant to other forms of treatment,” but he opposed “treating” children who may change their minds. (Even this position is debatable, as people who have undergone sex-change surgery after persistent gender dysphoria have later rejected their transgender identity and lamented the mutilation of their bodies.)

Although the Ph.D. psychologist supported sex-change surgery for 21-year-old adults whose gender dysphoria has persisted against other forms of treatment, he acknowledged that even post-operative transgender individuals are still biologically male or female beneath the surgical changes. No matter how good transgender surgery gets, a biological male still has X and Y chromosomes in virtually every cell of his body and a biological female still has two X chromosomes. No surgery or identity can alter this. . .

It seems transgender activists reported his tweets to Twitter, and the company chose to ban him. Helen Joyce, an editor at The Economist, called this decision “unreal.”

Most Americans Don’t Realize How Bad the Border Crisis Is. Here Are the Eye-Popping Numbers

A recent national survey finds that most Americans don’t understand just how severe an illegal immigration situation this country is currently facing at the southern border.

The latest monthly Harvard/Harris poll, which was conducted between April 30 and May 1 among 1,536 registered voters, found that a mere 13 percent of respondents were able to accurately give the annual number of illegal immigrant apprehensions at the border (between 250,000 and 500,000) when asked “About how many people do you think are caught trying to enter through the southern border each year?” At the same time, a whopping 76 percent of respondents gave answers that were well under current levels.

The poll numbers were released by the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and The Harris Poll.

Now, it should be noted that the 13 percent who got it right are only correct about previous levels of border apprehensions. Between fiscal years 2010 and 2018, the number of total apprehensions fluctuated between 300,000 and 500,000.

However, we’re currently dealing with record numbers at the border. If the current monthly rates hold, then the 12 percent of respondents who said that apprehensions are over 500,000 per year would be correct. In fact, according to federal government estimates based on the surging monthly totals so far, this fiscal year could see around one million apprehensions.

Here’s the rundown for all Americans to equip themselves with the information needed to grasp the state America finds itself in now:

109,144 individuals were apprehended at the border in April alone.

103,492 illegal and inadmissible aliens were apprehended by during the month of March alone.

76,325 apprehensions occurred in February.

Border arrests have reached their highest point in 12 years.

February numbers showed a 1,744% increase in asylum claims.

Family unit apprehensions by Border Patrol jumped 311% during the first five months of this fiscal year over the first five months of last fiscal year.

4,117 migrants were apprehended on a single day in March.

Just 6% of the people crossing the border are expressing a credible fear and requesting asylum in one sector, according to an immigration official.

A recent survey found that one-third of Guatemala’s population wants to come to the U.S.

Over 1% of the entire populations of Guatemala and Honduras have entered the United States this fiscal year, according to DHS.

There are at least 1.9 million known criminal aliens sitting in U.S. jails.

Human smugglers are running radio ads in Central America, according to a Border Patrol official.

ICE is having to reallocate resources to deal with “fake families” trying to manipulate border policies.

Now Border Patrol reports that children are also being rented and “recycled” to defraud immigration officials.

Catch-and-release policies also sent an estimated 7,000 illegal immigrants into Tuscon, Ariz., over an eight-month period alone.

Border Patrol agents in Texas over just the last week apprehended 5,500 migrants per day.

If you weren’t aware of the severity of the immigration crisis, that ought to give you a pretty good snapshot. And that’s just a sampling of stories from the last few weeks. Hilarious: Bill De Blasio Had This PR Nightmare During His ‘NYC Green New Deal’ Rally

A couple days ago, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) held a press conference in front of the elevators at Trump Towers. He used the opportunity – and the location – to blast President Donald Trump for rolling back environmental regulations and pulling the United States out of the Paris Accord Agreement.

“We have passed a mandate in this city requiring buildings to stop the destructive emissions and that begins right here, Trump Towner,” de Blasio told the crowd. “…And clearly, the Trump Organization is a little sensitive to the fact that we’re calling them out for what they are doing to the climate and the way this building is part of the problem. But we will not back down. We don’t back down in New York City, do we?” . . .

This is what the scene actually looked like during the rally:

The Probe into the Russia-Trump Investigation Has Been Going on for Awhile

Earlier in the week, as promised, Attorney General Bill Barr assigned a US attorney to oversee the events and tactics that set into motion the lengthy and politically-explosive federal probe that was eventually inherited and concluded by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Barr has infuriated Democrats by stating that he was planning to do so, inflaming them further by using the word “spying” in reference to certain government surveillance of Trump campaign associates. But as even former DNI James Clapper has admitted, the Obama-era DOJ’s actions met the “dictionary definition” of spying. In any case, we’re learning that the current investigation of the previous investigation has already expanded.

Recall that the Justice Department’s tough and respected Inspector General is on the brink of completing his look at potential FISA abuses, which is rumored to contain very critical assessments of the FBI’s reliance on the infamous (and heavily discredited) Steele Dossier. How many people knew about Steele’s serious credibility problems as they leaned so heavily on his work to obtain warrants? And was the fact that his dodgy (and possibly Russia-planted) opposition research was bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC hidden or obscured from the judges who approved those warrants? These are important questions, but their scope only goes so far — which is why Barr has moved to assign the job of rendering a more comprehensive account to someone else. And boy, does this process, still being presented as a “review,” appear to be escalating:

Attorney General William Barr is working closely with the CIA to review the origins of the Russia investigation and surveillance issues surrounding Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, according to a source familiar with the matter, broadening an effort that the President has long demanded to involve all major national security agencies. Barr is working in close collaboration with CIA Director Gina Haspel, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and FBI Director Christopher Wray, the source said. There had been speculation as to why Haspel had been spotted at the Justice Department in recent weeks. Wray testified last week he was assisting Barr.

The CIA is in the mix? We’ve also learned that the probe has already been underway for some time:

2020 Dem Has an Idea Prepared to Make Abortion Permanent in U.S.

In light of Alabama’s recent decision to make abortion almost entirely illegal, 2020 democratic presidential candidate Sen. Cory Book (D-NJ) proposes making Roe v. Wade a permanent part of the law by having Congress draft legislation.

Before Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed the bill into law, Booker took to Twitter to reiterate his position:

“The injustices we’re seeing in Alabama right now with this legislation, it’s important that all of us understand that this is a threat to women’s freedoms and women’s rights all over our country, not just there,” he said.

“Right now I am calling for it [a bill to make abortion permanently legal], even though obviously with Mitch McConnell and a [majority Republican] Senate we would not see a vote” should it be introduced.

“We need to pass it through the House and Senate, and I look forward to signing that law when I become president,” he added. (Read more from “2020 Dem Has an Idea Prepared to Make Abortion Permanent in U.S.” HERE)

WATCH: Feminist Charges, Physically Assaults Pro-Life Protester

A pro-life woman in Huntsville, Alabama, was physically assaulted by a feminist earlier this month as she was protesting abortion outside the Alabama Women’s Center abortion clinic.

The pro-life woman, identified as Mary Baggett, captured the assault on video and posted it to social media; her caption read: “This lady attacked me at the baby murdering mill! I believe the deathscorts were inciting her and her friend/boyfriend. I saw them being buddies with them earlier and hugging them. I’m ok but my hand is bruised and swelling up. My hands, feet and back are hurting. It could have been worse. Thank You Father for Your protection”

In the video, Baggett is on the sidewalk with other pro-lifers holding signs about abortion. Then a car pulls up and shouting begins. Soon enough, Baggett is being charged and physically assaulted by a female upset about their pro-life speech and is screaming that she did not give them “permission” to film her.

“The woman who came up to me punched my hands. I must have been holding the camera with both hands, cause one is bruised pretty bad but the one hand I hold the phone with is hurting too,” Baggett recalled to Live Action. “Then she grabbed my phone and ran to her car. I went after her and demanded she give me the phone back [and she] finally threw it in the grass.”

Apparently abortion escorts were yelling at the pro-life activist to leave after she was assaulted. “The man who was in the first car, who she was with apparently, he came back before the police showed up,” she claimed. “I thought he was going to try to harm us so I started taking his picture and telling him the police were on the way. He left in a hurry. I called the police and filed a report.”

WATCH: Reporter Fires Hostile Question at Pro-Life Governor. Governor Flattens Her.

Before she signed the strongest anti-abortion bill in the nation on Wednesday, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey faced down a hostile question from a CBS reporter and immediately flattened her. CBS reporter Jericka Duncan asked, “Where is the money coming from to support people who aren’t ready to be mothers or aren’t financially stable to take care of a child?” Ivey fired back, “You simply cannot defer protecting the lives of unborn children because of costs.”

Ivey served as Alabama State Treasurer from 2003 to 2011, then served as lieutenant governor from 2011 to 2017. She became Alabama’s second female governor and first female Republican governor after the resignation of Governor Robert Bentley; she won a full term in 2018.

Ivey has not flinched from holding staunchly conservative positions; in April 2017 she signed into law a bill stating that juries that imposed capital punishment could not be overruled by judges. Frank Knaack, executive director of Alabama Appleseed, asserted, “We should all agree that if we have a death penalty then the process should be fair and accurate. SB 16 will help minimize unreliable and arbitrary death sentences and move Alabama one step closer to ending its outlier status. We commend Senator Brewbaker, Senator Sanders, and Representative England for their leadership in this effort. And, we thank Governor Ivey for her quick action to finally put an end to judicial override in Alabama.” (Read more from “WATCH: Reporter Fires Hostile Question at Pro-Life Governor.
