Former Wisconsin Prosecutor: The FBI’s Arrest of That Judge Looks Legit, No One Is Above the Law

In case you missed it on Friday, FBI Director Kash Patel announced the arrest of a Milwaukee judge, alleging that she obstructed justice. He posted on Twitter/X that Bureau agents had arrested Judge Hannah Dugan on obstruction charges “after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week.” Then came the broad-strokes details: “We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest. Thankfully, our agents chased down the perp on foot and he’s been in custody since, but the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public.” This development triggered apoplectic hysteria from the usual ‘resistance’ precincts and figures, with leftists rushing to defend the arrested judge and painting the Trump administration as dangerously authoritarian.

If the FBI were arresting judges over adverse rulings, the critics would have a point. But because the FBI appears to have arrested this judge because of her crimes, it would seem that the “Rule of Law” crowd — who chanted ‘no one is above the law’ in unison for years about Donald Trump — has found another asterisk to their “principles.” It’s the Rules of Law theory in action, again. One set of rules for the Left’s enemies, and another set of rules for the Left. Based on the actual law, however, and what’s alleged by authorities, several legal experts are saying the arrest looks righteous — and the judge’s lawless actions, if proven, are absolutely illegal. Here is a former Wisconsin prosecutor (now an attorney with the Wisconsin Institution for Law and Liberty) methodically laying out the facts. After noting that the illegal immigrant in question was in court over a violent attack on two people, Dan Lennington offered his analysis, citing court documents:

Study: Rate Of Serious Or Life-Threatening Complications After Abortion Pill Is 22 Times Higher Than FDA Claims

Abortion advocates, their allies in the corporate media, and even the U.S. Food and Drug Administration insist the pill responsible for more than half of the nation’s abortions is “safe and effective.” A new, wide-ranging analysis of insurance claims regarding the abortion drug regimen, however, found that the rate of life-threatening complications due to mifepristone is at least 22 times higher than what the FDA and Danco Laboratories, manufacturer of mifepristone pill Mifeprex, suggest.

In the “largest known study of the abortion pill,” Ethics and Public Policy Center President Ryan Anderson and Director of Data Analysis Jamie Bryan Hall used purchased Medicaid, TRICARE, Medicare, Department of Veterans Affairs, and private medical insurance claim data to determine that 865,727 mifepristone abortion prescriptions for 692,873 women were handed out between 2017 and 2023.

Approximately 10.9 percent of those claims, or 94,605 chemical abortions, involved potentially life-threatening “serious adverse events” such as emergency room visits, hemorrhage, sepsis, infection, and/or follow-up surgeries for the women who had downed the abortion drug within the last 45 days.

That rate, which researchers adjusted to reflect “that some women suffer from adverse events in multiple categories,” is 22 times the FDA’s <0.5 percent estimation printed on the Mifeprex label. The researchers also suggest that the 45-day timeframe they used is “conservative, as some adverse events may present later (and studies relied on by the FDA used a timeframe as long as 72 days).” “This study is the statistical equivalent of a category 5 hurricane hitting the prevailing narrative of the abortion industry,” Anderson said in a statement to The Federalist. “It reveals, based on real-world data, the shocking number of women who suffer serious medical consequences because of the abortion pill.” (Read more from "Study: Rate Of Serious Or Life-Threatening Complications After Abortion Pill Is 22 Times Higher Than FDA Claims" HERE)

Three Rogue Judges Block Trump Admin Efforts To Eradicate Discriminatory DEI From Schools

The attempted judicial coup continues apace as three federal district court judges issued directives to stop the Trump administration’s ability to halt federal funding for schools that participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) discrimination.

Thursday saw district judges in Maryland, New Hampshire, and Washington, D.C., issue separate sweeping orders to stop some of the major education reforms President Donald Trump was elected to enact.

“Unelected judges, keen to disrupt the President’s efforts to remove color-consciousness from American education have forgotten that the judiciary is the only non-political branch of our tripartite system of government,” Sarah Parshall Perry, vice president and legal fellow at Defending Education, told The Federalist. “Judges that prohibit the Department of Education’s enforcement of its ‘Dear Colleague Letter’ and related civil rights compliance form forget that both are constitutional and a plain-text application of longstanding federal civil rights laws like Title VI.”

“That law specifically conceives that institutions which do not uphold race neutral policies can have their federal funding revoked,” she continued. “Judges are bound to interpret the laws as they read — not as judges wish they read.”

The cases, brought by far-left teachers unions, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and others, were decided by two Trump-appointed judges and one appointee of President Barack Obama. They also came just one day after Trump signed yet another executive order trying to rein in the DEI-caused destruction in schools. What the Buffalo School System Is Doing Is Downright EVIL

. . .Over the weekend, Buffalo SVU Detective Rich Hy, known on social media as Angry Cops, was featured on a special episode of the Unsubscribe Podcast. There, he unveiled significant problems with the schools there. In particular, how they’re explicitly and actively working to protect people who hurt children, at least that’s how I see what he unveiled:

During the podcast, Detective Hy, at times fighting to maintain composure, described several troubling examples of his allegations. One of the examples was a case he directly investigated in his role with the SVU. He also expressed concerns that his whistleblower report could negatively impact his career in law enforcement.

Hy began with an incident at The Dr. Charles R. Drew Science Magnet Elementary School attached to the Buffalo Museum of Science.

“There is a school that’s attached to the Buffalo Science Museum. That school that’s attached to the Buffalo Science Museum has doors that can go from the Science Museum into the school. Those doors are not locked. Individuals can get into them. Right? Stranger danger, right? And that happened. So, a stranger went into the school. It’s a grade school; it’s a very low school, and this person grabbed a male and a female child.”

“So, it goes into the school and grabs a young female child and a male child and tries to leave. And I’m gonna I’m gonna parcel this story up in kind of the way that the information came in. At first, the information that came in was that there was one female child that was… uh, it was an attempted abduction. There was no report about the second child. Kind of a big deal. The second child the boy um had pissed himself and when his parents came…”

Hy paused to compose himself before continuing.

“When his parents came to pick him up the school did not disclose to the parents that the kid was a part of an attempted abduction. So, when parents asked him: “Why did my kid piss his pants at school?” The teachers and the people in charge did not tell them that there was an attempted abduction. The school then deleted the video of the attempted abduction.”

“The District Attorney’s Office only got it because somebody within the school had the wherewithal to record it and then give it to them. The district attorney’s office has sent subpoenas, so like court order documents from judges that are signed, to the school’s legal representatives and those representatives have intentionally not responded to them. Now here’s the weird thing which is like this is this is the biggest issue right here… is that specific one, is the one that sent me over the edge… Obviously, I’m emotional from it.

The biggest issue with this entire story… Well, one of the issues with this entire story is that, when subpoenaed, these legal representatives for the Buffalo School Department are ignoring the subpoenas and not just, not… not responding to them but being obstructionists and actually giving information to school administrators and school personnel to not talk to the police or assist the police in any way.”

Ousted Pentagon Adviser Says Hegseth ‘Consumed’ by Leaks as Trump Predicts He’ll ‘Get It Together’

A top Pentagon official who was ousted in a dramatic purge earlier this month has criticized Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for being preoccupied with disclosures to the press — while President Trump stood by the former Fox News personality and predicted that “he’s gonna get it together” in an interview published Monday.

“He was very focused on the leaks, and I think it’s kind of consumed the team a little bit,” Colin Carroll, former chief of staff to Deputy Defense Secretary Stephen Feinberg, told podcaster Megyn Kelly of Hegseth in a lengthy interview released Friday. “If you look at a pie chart of the secretary’s day, at this point, 50% of it is probably [the] leak investigation.”

“That’s a bad thing for America, it’s a bad thing for the president’s objectives,” added Carroll, 40, who was placed on leave April 16 and later dismissed along with senior adviser Dan Caldwell and deputy chief of staff Darin Selnick.

Around the same time, former top spokesman John Ullyot parted ways with DOD and penned a scathing Politico op-ed predicting Hegseth would soon be out of a job.

The White House has publicly stood by the defense secretary, with Trump telling The Atlantic magazine: “I think he’s gonna get it together. I had a talk with him, a positive talk, but I had a talk with him.” (Read more from “Ousted Pentagon Adviser Says Hegseth ‘Consumed’ by Leaks as Trump Predicts He’ll ‘Get It Together’” HERE)

Treasury Secretary Says Growing Recession Fears Are ‘Media Driven’

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Sunday that the American public’s growing recession fears are largely “media driven.”

Bessent disputed recent headlines which claimed that the Dow Jones Industrial Average is headed for its worst April since 1932, stating that the stock market is bouncing back after its major drop earlier in the month. A poll conducted by ABC News, The Washington Post and Ipsos found that 72% of Americans believe it is “likely” that President Donald Trump’s tariffs will cause a recession.

“When I look at some of the things that are being published, there was a story 10 days ago that said, ‘this is the worst April for the stock market since the Great Depression.’ Ten days later, the NASDAQ is now up in the month of April, and I haven’t seen a story that says, ‘oh, the stock market has seen [its] biggest bounce back ever.’ So, I think a lot of this is media driven,” Bessent said on ABC’s “This Week.”

The Wall Street Journal issued a stark warning about the stock market in its April 21 piece, “Dow Headed for Worst April Since 132 as Investor Sent ‘No Confidence’ Signal,” stating that Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by almost 1,000 points. The article further stated that the S&P 500’s performance since Jan. 20 is the worst for any president since 1928.

After an plunge April 21, the stock market surged 1,016.57 points, or 2.66% the following day while the S&P 500 and NASDAQ rose 2.51% and 2.71%. The market continued to bounce back throughout the remainder of the week, with the S&P 500 and NASDAQ gaining 4.6% and 6.7% by Friday, according to CNBC. Chuck Schumer Does Not Rule Out Impeaching Trump If Dems Take Back Control

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer did not rule out impeaching President Donald Trump if the Democrats regain control of the House and Senate, during a Sunday interview.

During the interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, Schumer stated that Trump is “violating [the] rule of law” on a daily basis, though it is too soon to say whether the Democrats will file articles of impeachment against the president. Democratic Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff had said during a Friday town hall that Trump has committed several offenses that exceed “any prior standard for impeachment.”

“Do you agree with [Ossoff], would that be a priority if Democrats were to take back Congress?” Bash asked.

“Well look, right now, President Trump is violating the rule of the law in every way,” Schumer said. “And we’re fighting him every single day in every way. And our goal is to show the American people, over and over again, whether it’s the economy, whether it’s tariffs, whether it’s Russia and overseas and whether it’s rule of law, how bad he is. Two years is too far away to predict, our job is day to day to day, to show who Trump is, what he is doing and it’s having an effect … Look, it’s too far away to even judge.”

Democrats have accused Trump of violating the rule of law by defying federal court orders related to deporting illegal immigrant gang members. The administration has maintained that they did not defy a March 15 order put in place by U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who ordered that a plane transporting over 200 members of Tren de Agua be returned to the U.S. (Read more from “Chuck Schumer Does Not Rule Out Impeaching Trump If Dems Take Back Control” HERE)

‘Completely Out of Control’: Top Trump Aide Goes Nuclear on Judges ‘Usurping Power of the President’

A top adviser to President Donald Trump says federal judges trying to stop the America First agenda are now “completely out of control” and are “basically usurping the power of the president.”

The remarks by Kari Lake, U.S. Agency for Global Media senior adviser and former Arizona gubernatorial candidate, came on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel.

“The president has Article II powers to run the executive branch of this government and we’re seeing a whole handful of judges trying to stop that and really subvert the will of the people,” Lake said.

“The beautiful thing about President Trump is he wants to come in and bring this government under control.”

Lake added she doesn’t think the obstructions will work in the end.

“I believe that eventually, these cases will move higher up and President Trump will be victorious, but unfortunately, it’s the delay that’s prevent the work from being done.” (Read more from “‘Completely Out of Control’: Top Trump Aide Goes Nuclear on Judges ‘Usurping Power of the President’” HERE)

Lawless Governor Issues Guidelines to Shield Illegal Aliens From ICE Agents

Democrats chose a hill to die on—they will defend the last violent, human-trafficking Central American gangbanger escape from ICE no matter what the cost.

According to documents leaked by conservative radio host Dan O’Donnell, a Department of Administration (DOA) memo dated April 18 lays out explicit steps for Wisconsin state workers to follow when ICE agents arrive at government buildings.

Instead of cooperating with federal immigration enforcement, employees are being told to stonewall — refuse to answer questions, deny access to files, and even demand agents leave if no attorney is available.

The outrageous memo directs state employees to treat federal agents like unwanted intruders rather than trusted law enforcement partners. . .

In short, employees are ordered to stall, obstruct, and protect illegal aliens — even if those aliens are dangerous criminals wanted by the federal government. (Read more from “Lawless Governor Issues Guidelines to Shield Illegal Aliens From ICE Agents” HERE)

Treasury Secretary Reveals ‘Interaction’ With Chinese Counterpart Amid Trade War

On Sunday, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent revealed that he interacted with his Chinese counterpart this past week, a contact that comes as the United States and China are engaged in a trade war.

Beijing has denied there were trade talks with the United States, but President Donald Trump insisted to reporters that there were meetings with China.

On ABC’s “This Week,” Bessent told anchor Martha Raddatz, “This was IMF World Bank week in D.C., as you know, and I had interaction with my Chinese counterpart, but it was more on traditional things like financial stability, global economic early warnings.”

The United States has increased tariffs on China to 145% in bid to stop what the Trump administration says are unfair trade practices. China responded by raising tariffs on U.S. goods to 125%.

Trump indicated last week that tensions could be easing, saying the tariffs against China come down “substantially” — but not to “zero.” He also said that he has spoken “many times” with Chinese President Xi Jinping, although he did not clarify if those discussions happened after escalating tariffs.
