The June 2024 launch of Boeing’s Starliner Crew Flight Test, carrying NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, appeared to go smoothly at first. “Oh man, the launch was awesome,” Williams said. “Both of us looked at each other like, ‘Wow, this is going just perfectly.’”

Trump Declares National Emergency To Impose ‘Liberation Day’ Tariffs

President Donald Trump declared a national emergency on Wednesday to impose a wave of reciprocal tariffs across the nation in what the White House has deemed “Liberation Day.”

Trump announced reciprocal tariffs on nations charging imports from the United States from the Rose Garden with various industry workers in crowd. Each of the reciprocal tariffs are roughly half of what they are charging the United States, an administration official told reporters, with a baseline of 10% for the tariffs.

“My fellow Americans, this is Liberation Day. April 2, 2025, will forever be remembered as the day American industry was reborn, the day America’s destiny was reclaimed and the day that we began to make America wealthy again,” Trump said.

“For decades, our country has been looted, pillaged, raped and plundered by nations near and far, both friend and foe alike. American steel workers, auto workers, farmers and skilled craftsmen. We have a lot of them here with us today. They really suffered gravely. They watched in anguish as foreign leaders have stolen our jobs,” the president said regarding the baseline tariffs that are set to go into effect on Thursday.

While the president was speaking, a White House official passed out a packet to reporters detailing about 60 countries and the tariffs being imposed on them. At the top of the list is China, who has a calculated 67% tariff on America. In return, America will impose a 34% tariff on the nation, Trump said. Elon Musk Calls for Arrest of ‘Fake Ngo’ Leaders — Claiming They’re Part of ‘Uniparty’ Engaged in ‘Giant Money Laundering Scheme’

Elon Musk on Tuesday called for the arrest of leaders of “fake” organizations that receive federal funds — saying they represent a politically connected “uniparty” that’s engaged in “money laundering” of taxpayer resources.

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chief’s call for legal action comes as he spearheads efforts to trim annual federal spending by $1 trillion to halve the deficit.

“With respect to the non-governmental organizations, these sort of fake NGOs, I think there needs to be a number of arrests,” Musk said in an interview on Fox News’ “The Five.”

“These are fake charities [run by] mostly Democrats … there’s sometimes a little bit of Republican in there, because they sometimes throw the Republicans a bone to say, ‘Hey, be quiet about this.’ So that’s where you start getting the uniparty thing going on,” Musk said.

“But it is overwhelmingly to Democrats, and they give these billions of dollars to NGOs run by Democrats that then go through a whole network of additional NGOs — it’s a giant money laundering scheme. Really at this point, I think the word NGO and money laundering are almost synonymous.”

The term “uniparty” is used by President Trump’s supporters to describe politicians of both major parties who hold similar opinions on government operations, spending and foreign policy — generally in opposition to Trump’s populist agenda. Two Million User International Pedophile Child Porn Ring Busted by Europol

A massive international pedophile network spanning across over 30 countries was shut down, and dozens of arrests were made relating to child pornography, the Europol police agency announced on Wednesday.

The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation said that the Darknet child porn platform “Kidflix” has been shut down under the direction of the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office in Germany.

Europol said that the platform had an estimated 1.8 million users throughout the world, with investigations being coordinated across 35 counties.

So far, 79 people have been arrested and nearly 1,400 further suspects have been identified, over one hundred of whom were located in Germany, broadcaster NTV reports.

Top Aide Finally Admits Biden Was Rapidly Declining, Falling Asleep By The Pool

One of former President Joe Biden’s senior aides admitted in a new book that the 82-year-old couldn’t grasp the back and forth of debate and would fall asleep by the pool while they prepped for his showdown with Trump, according to a book excerpt.

Top Biden aide Ron Klain, who helped the former president with debate prep, was “half-seriously” wondering if Biden believed he was the president of NATO rather than the president of the United States, according to the excerpt of Chris Whipple’s new book published by The Guardian. While they prepped, Klain reportedly told Whipple that the then 81-year-old president “didn’t know what Trump had been saying and couldn’t grasp what the back and forth was” and would have to cut training sessions short because he was tired.

“The president was fatigued, befuddled, and disengaged,” the excerpt reads. “Klain feared the debate with Trump would be a nationally televised disaster.”

Biden’s first training session for the debate was called off halfway through the 90 minutes it was schedule for because the former president was failing to grasp domestic policy, according to the excerpt.

As the former president became irritable, Klain pushed Biden to run on “unfinished business” and his attempt to “subsidize state and local efforts to do childcare and bring down the cost to $20 a day. Improving Child Health: Government-Run Health Care Is No Remedy

President Donald Trump told our new Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to “go wild” on health. Backing up Kennedy, Trump issued an Executive Order to create a special commission, chaired by Kennedy himself, to investigate, report, and recommend strategies to combat chronic disease. Importantly, the health of American children is the primary focus of this ambitious effort.

Kennedy’s task is enormous, and perhaps providential. In a major public speech, well before taking the helm of HHS, Kennedy revealed the depth of his commitment: “For 19 years, I have been praying every day when I get out of bed that God will put me in a position to end the chronic disease epidemic so we can restore health to our children.”

In his February 2025 order, Trump outlined the urgency of the problem: “In 2022 an estimated 30 million children (40.7%) had at least one health condition, such as allergies, asthma, or an autoimmune disease. Autism spectrum disorder now affects 1 in 36 children in the United States—a staggering increase from rate of 1 to 4 out of 10,000 children identified with the condition during the 1980s. Eighteen percent of late adolescents and young adults have fatty liver disease, close to 30% of adolescents are prediabetic, and more than 40% of adolescents are overweight or obese.”

President Trump orders the new commission “to aggressively combat the critical health challenges facing our citizens, including the rising rates of mental health disorders, obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases.”

Kennedy’s accession to leadership in health policy marks a significant shift in the national debate from access to health care coverage to the actual improvement of health itself. Doug Holtz-Eakin, President of the American Action forum and former Director of the Congressional Budget Office nails it: “The reality is that most of what makes us healthy or unhealthy has nothing to do with health care. The vast majority of our health, more than 80% by most estimates, is determined by genetics, environment, diet, exercise, and other factors such as the use of alcohol, drugs and tobacco. Nashville Police In Final Report Downplay Covenant Shooter’s Transgender Identity, Hatred Of Christianity

The final police report on Nashville’s deadly Covenant School shooting, released more than two years after the attack, claims the motive of the attack was “notoriety” and makes little mention of the shooter’s radical positions on gender, race, or religious animus.

While pages from the writings of the 28-year-old woman who murdered three children and three adults at The Covenant School in March 2023 demonstrate that she was fixated on gender ideology and “white privilege,” police say that she was primarily motivated by a desire for notoriety. Investigators said that neither her documented hatred of Christianity or affluent white people played a role in her targeting of The Covenant School, a Presbyterian school in a wealthy area of Nashville.

“Regarding why she selected The Covenant, many have speculated [the shooter] selected this location for racial, religious, or economic motives,” the report said. “It is certainly true she raged over these topics at times in her writings. But none of those motives impacted her decision to attack The Covenant.”

Instead, the police said that Covenant was targeted because the attacker, who was killed by police, believed that she would receive greater notoriety by murdering young children. Three of the victims of the March 27, 2023, attack — Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney — were all just 9 years old. The other victims of the attack were adults Michael Hill, Katherine Koonce, and Cynthia Peak.

Throughout the report, police made little mention of the attacker’s transgender identity, only mentioning that she identified as a male and that she had made references to wanting to transition. FBI Whistleblower Pushed Out Under Biden Wins Battle To Publish Documents That Ended His Career

By Daily Caller. A Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent who was forced out for refusing to sign off on a warrant into a right-wing “domestic extremist group” has won a fight to unseal documents related to that case.

Zach Schoffstall, a former supervisory agent in the FBI’s Salt Lake City division, was forced out of the FBI during the Biden administration for not going after the Patriot Front organization, the Daily Caller previously reported.

Empower Oversight, a group that represents whistleblowers, filed a motion to request the government unseal the warrant. After 90 days, the government finally acquiesced and released the document, Schoffstall said. The only information redacted was the name of the supervisory agent.

Thirty-one members of the group Patriot Front were arrested after protesting an LGBT event in Idaho and charged with conspiracy to riot in 2022.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) in Idaho and the FBI pressured Schoffstall to sign off on the warrant, but he refused. The government attempted to find agents who would comply, including one without knowledge of the investigation, he previously told the Caller. FBI Whistleblower Charged with Disclosing Confidential Records After Accusing Agency of Political Bias

By Whistleblower Network News. Describing himself as one of the “most significant whistleblowers in FBI history,” 15-year veteran FBI Special Agent Johnathan Buma was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport on March 17, 2025, as he was attempting to board an outbound international flight. Roughly a day later, a criminal charge was filed in the California Central District Court claiming that Buma disclosed classified information about FBI investigations and confidential informants.

According to a court-filed affidavit, Buma had allegedly sent emails and messages that contained excerpts of a prospective book about his career at the FBI. Some of the sensitive information that Buma reportedly disclosed related to “the FBI’s efforts and investigations into a foreign country’s weapon of mass destruction (‘WMD’) program.” Buma had also purportedly given “authorization” to the recipients to share the restricted details.

During the first Trump Administration, Buma blew the whistle on alleged political bias by the FBI. In a 2024 interview with Business Insider, Buma revealed that in 2019, he provided different sets of unverified information to his supervisor at the FBI field office in Los Angeles for potential action. The first possible case involved Hunter Biden and potential criminal activity regarding the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. According to Buma, his supervisor was “interested and adamant about…transferring [the case] to the appropriate case agent right away.” In the same meeting, Buma offered potentially lucrative information about former Trump legal associate Rudy Giuliani, but his supervisor allegedly “shut [him] down immediately.” The information alleged that Giuliani had been compromised by Russian counterintelligence and organized crime operations.

After this, Buma claimed his work became more scrutinized, sometimes calling his workplace treatment “intolerable.” In January 2022, he filed a whistleblower complaint and testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, alleging “numerous acts of intelligence repression.” Buma then explained that “no actions were ever taken to correct ongoing reprisals and suppression of intelligence” and that he experienced even harsher repression once he filed to become a whistleblower. Additionally, he was reassigned from working with confidential human sources (CHS) to a surveillance squad, which he called “the Alaska of L.A.” due to its isolation and uncontroversial nature compared to Buma’s previous position. ‘Blood Spattered’: FAA Air Traffic Controller Charged With Assault for Alleged Fight Inside DC Airport’s Control Tower

A Federal Aviation Administration employee at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C., was arrested for an alleged physical altercation inside the air traffic control tower, according to reports.

Damon Marsalis Gaines, 38, has reportedly been placed on administrative leave. Gaines faces assault and battery charges in connection with the alleged incident inside the air traffic control tower at the D.C. airport.

Politico reported that officers with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority responded to an incident on March 27.

Citing a source, the Daily Mail reported that a couple of on-duty air tower controllers got into a “blazing argument before one threw a punch at the other.”

Major U.S. County Reverses Policy That Discriminated Against Churches

Los Angeles County has reversed a beach use policy it adopted that discriminated, unlawfully, against churches.

The American Center for Law and Justice announced the “crucial victory” in its battle to protect religious liberties.

“The ACLJ continues to fight for religious liberty across the nation, from small towns to major cities. This victory reminds us that when we stand firm and take decisive legal action, we can successfully defend the constitutional rights of believers everywhere,” the legal team said in an announcement about the dispute.

“This case illustrates a disturbing pattern we’re seeing with increasing frequency. Government officials at all levels – federal, state, and local – continue to test the boundaries of their authority by implementing policies that marginalize people of faith and religious organizations.
