Nunes Just Uncovered Something Huge About the Russia Investigation

“No official intelligence” was used to launch the FBI’s investigation into allegations of collusion between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia, according to the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes of California.

The congressman said in an interview with Fox News on Sunday it’s also now known that longtime Bill and Hillary Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal and others were “pushing information into the State Department.” . . .

The House intel panel’s probe, Nunes said, is now focused on “major irregularities” regarding how the FBI found out about a meeting Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos had with Russian nationals, which played a major role in prompting the FBI’s Russia probe.

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the ranking member of the committee, dismissed Nunes’ comments as a further attempt to divert attention from Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation into alleged Trump-Russia collusion.

Schiff told Fox News in a statement the Republican majority “seems to believe that if it can discredit the initiation of the investigation by attacking the FBI, Justice Department and State Department, it can get the public to ignore the growing body of evidence of illicit contacts between the Trump campaign and the Russians.” (Read more from “Nunes Just Uncovered Something Huge About the Russia Investigation” HERE)

Bias Google Rejects Christian Publisher

Concordia Publishing House has been in business since 1869 as the official publishing arm of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod denomination.

But apparently the Christian content of its website, particularly an ad for an upcoming Vacation Bible School, is too much for Google AdWords, the online advertising service . . .

Kintz said one of his associates was told by Google AdWords, as an example, that the “Bible challenge” on the publishers Vacation Bible School Web page “would clearly need to come down before they could consider us for ads.” . . .

The “Bible challenge” page has references to Bible verses such as Hebrews 10:23, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope … for He who promised is faithful,” and Isaiah 43:2, “God promises: ‘When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.’” . . .

In January, Google was accused of censoring six conservative media sites – Breitbart, the Daily Caller, Daily Wire, the Blaze, Gateway Pundit and WND – by treating them as “fake news,” with warnings about their content. WND reported Google refers people to the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center for reputation research on sites and pages. (Read more from “Bias Google Rejects Christian Publisher” HERE)

Unpublished Study: Over 2 Million Defensive Gun Uses Every Year

Every year, Americans use guns to defend themselves more than 2 million times, according to an unpublished study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that focused on data gathered in 1996, 1997 and 1998.

Since the 1990s, Florida State University criminologist Gary Kleck and partner Marc Gertz have claimed as many as 2.2 million Americans use firearms to defend themselves every year. While critics have claimed Kleck’s estimates were too high, he has frequently stated that they provide no scientific evidence to counter his findings.

Now it’s revealed that the unpublished CDC study in the 1990s found 2.46 million defensive gun uses, or DGUs, per year.

Kleck provides the following summary of the CDC findings:

In 1996, 1997, and 1998, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) conducted large-scale national surveys asking about defensive gun use (DGU). They never released the findings, or even acknowledged they had studied the topic. I obtained the unpublished raw data and computed the prevalence of DGU. CDC’s findings indicated that an average of 2.46 million U.S. adults used a gun for self-defense in each of the years from 1996 through 1998 – almost exactly confirming the estimate for 1992 of Kleck and Gertz (1995). Possible reasons for CDC’s suppression of these findings are discussed.

Female Customer Shocked After Finding Spy Camera Taped Inside Starbucks Bathroom Stall

By The Blaze. A woman using the bathroom at a Starbucks in Alpharetta, Georgia, found a small spy camera taped inside the stall, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported . . .

According to the police report, the camera had about 25 videos stored on it. “Several” of the videos showed people using the restroom.

A 25-year-old woman from McRae-Helena found the camera around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Starbucks at 2705 Old Milton Road, the report stated. The camera was taped under a baby changing station.

According to the report, the woman removed the camera and notified the manager on duty at the Starbucks. He said he would contact the corporate office, but the woman pressed him to call police.

After the manager filed a report with the corporate office, police arrived. The camera, its battery pack and a USB cord were turned over to officers. Police found the videos after they reviewed the camera. (Read more from “Female Customer Shocked After Finding Spy Camera Taped Inside Starbucks Bathroom Stall” HERE)

N. Fulton Cops: Hidden Camera Filmed Starbucks Customers in Bathroom

By AJC. While using the bathroom at a Starbucks in north Fulton County, a woman discovered a camera taped in the stall, according to a police report . . .

No suspects have yet been identified, but the person responsible for the camera would at least face the charge of eavesdropping, which is a felony, police said.

This local incident in north Fulton County comes as the company is facing backlash after two black men were arrested at one of its locations in Philadelphia last week. The company plans to close 8,000 of its stores for a day next month for company-wide racial bias training. (Read more from “N. REVEALED: Secret Service Once Arrested Waffle House Killer, Police Previously Confiscated His Guns

. . .The Secret Service said Sunday its agents arrested the killer in July 2017 after he was found in a “restricted area” near the White House, according to the Tennessean . . .

The killer, who is reportedly from Illinois, was revoked of his ability to possess firearms following his arrest in Washington. Illinois police also confiscated four firearms from his possession, including the AR-15 he used in Sunday’s killing, a spokesman for the Nashville Police said.

Tazewell County Sheriff Robert Huston explained at a news conference that when sheriff deputies came to confiscate the killer’s firearms last August, his father was present and asked the officers if he could take possession of the firearms instead. Tazewell said the father was legally able to possess weapons in the state of Illinois, so they turned the weapons over to him.

Authorities say the killer’s father later returned the firearms to his son. However, it was not immediately known if there was a Tennessee law that prohibited the killer from possessing the firearms.

Psycho Judge Resigns After Viciously Berating Sick Woman Begging for Help Who Died Three Days Later

By Bizpac Review. A Florida circuit court judge’s roughly 30-year-long career deservedly crashed and burned this week after courtroom footage surfaced that shows her mercilessly and unnecessarily berating a disabled defendant. And not just any disabled defendant, but one who died three days later.

Recorded last Sunday, the footage shows former Broward County Circuit Judge Merrillee Ehrlich, a Democrat, spouting an endless stream of bilge at Sandra Faye Twiggs, 59, a wheel-chair-bound woman who suffered from asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Why all the venom? Because Twiggs needed help, according to the Miami Herald, but every time she tried to speak, Ehrlich shut her down.

The paper notes that Twiggs wound up in jail after she got into a domestic dispute with her daughter. During her incarceration, Twiggs reportedly had difficulty obtaining her medications.

When she tried to inform Ehrlich of this problem during her court appearance, the judge snapped at her, saying, “Ma’am, I am not here to talk to you about your breathing treatments!” (Read more from “Psycho Judge Resigns After Viciously Berating Sick Woman Begging for Help Who Died Three Days Later” HERE)

Watch This Judge Brutally Berate a Woman in a Wheelchair. The Woman Died. The Judge Has Quit.

By The Miami Herald. A Broward County circuit judge delivered a blistering, arm-waving, face-palming, tongue-lashing to a frail, out-of-breath woman — pushed into court in a wheelchair — who was facing misdemeanor charges following a family feud.

Three days later, the defendant died.

Judge Merrillee Ehrlich has resigned, although it is unclear when that resignation was provided and when it becomes effective . . .

“It is not appropriate for anyone to endure that kind of treatment,” said Finkelstein’s chief assistant, Gordon Weekes. “All that was required was a bit of patience, and a bit of respect to allow this lady to speak, to gather herself and to breathe.” . . .

Twiggs suffered from asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, also called COPD. She ended up under arrest after squabbling with her 19-year-old daughter. (Read more from “Watch This Judge Brutally Berate a Woman in a Wheelchair. The Woman Died. The Judge Has Quit.” HERE)

Starbucks’ Horrible Treatment of Manager in Philly Could Make Her a Multi-Millionaire When She’s Done

With Starbucks in such a rush to appease the racial grievance crowd, the company essentially threw a manager trying to enforce what she understood to be standard policy under the bus . . .

In statements issued and tweeted, Starbucks was clear that the manager’s decision to tell two black non-paying customers to make a purchase or leave — no one would have batted an eye had the men been white — was racially motivated.

Gregg Re, an attorney who writes for The Daily Caller, said in an op-ed run Saturday, “DEFAMATION: The Starbucks Manager Accused Of Racism Is Probably About To Be A MILLIONAIRE,” that “a reasonable person would conclude that Starbucks is calling Hylton, at best, an unwitting racist.”

“Starbucks and its CEO Kevin Johnson have gone out of their way to imply that the female manager, identified in media reports as Holly Hylton, was acting on subconscious racial motivations when she told the loitering customers to either buy a beverage or get out of her store,” Re wrote.

Pointing to the defamation laws in Pennsylvania, where the incident took place, Re noted that the burden is on the plaintiff to show that the statement made about the defendant, was false, and caused damages. WATCH: Fresno State Professor Praises Plane Hijackers, Calls for Acts of Terrorism

By The Daily Wire. A newly uncovered video featuring Fresno State professor Randa Jarrar shows the far-left professor praising plane hijackers and calling for acts of domestic terrorism against specific individuals . . .

Jarrar, who is currently under investigation by the university for recent tweets attacking the Bush family after the passing of Barbara Bush, is also seen in the video promoting “resistance fighters” who hijacked planes in the 1960s and ’70s.

“I don’t give a f—. I’m buying guns. I’m an American. I’m buying guns,” Jarrar said. “The other side is, like, doing some stupid s—. I’m gonna do some stupid s—. I’m tired of, like, being the bigger person — literally am usually — but, like, I’m also just tired of the left being, like, f—ing stupid and being like, ‘No we have to like be gentle’ … no, don’t be f—— gentle.'”

Later in the clip, Jarrar calls for attacks against someone named Spencer, asking why “Spencer’s house is still standing.” (Read more from “WATCH: Fresno State Professor Praises Plane Hijackers, Calls for Acts of Terrorism” HERE)

‘Your Kids Masturbate’ and Other Provocative Lines from Fresno State Professor’s Talks

By The Fresno Bee. A video circulated by people identifying with the alt-right presents a compilation of often obscenity-laced moments from Fresno State professor Randa Jarrar’s interviews and speeches.

The university is investigating the conduct of Jarrar, an award-winning author, who posted to Twitter that Barbara Bush was an “amazing racist” hours after the former first lady’s death was announced Tuesday. On Friday, university officials including president Joseph Castro, received a link to the compilation video, sent via the email address Altrightnews. The video was posted to YouTube on Wednesday by a new user named Vigilant Goose.

In one clip featured in the video, Jarrar is discussing Fresno’s agriculture industry and says “a lot of the farmers now are Trump supporters and just f—ing stupid.” In another, she says she can’t stand “the white, hetero patriarchy.” . . .

Jarrar’s comments in the videos are sometimes received with laughter or applause, but in other instances — like during a speech at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis — people walk out in protest, something Jarrar seems used to . . .

“Sorry, guys,” she says. “Your kids masturbate.” (Read more from “‘Your Kids Masturbate’ and Other Provocative Lines from Fresno State Professor’s Talks” HERE)

WATCH: Students Condemn Trump’s Decision to Send Troops to the Border… Before Finding out Their ‘Favorite’ President Did the Same Thing

By The Daily Wire. On Saturday, Campus Reform uploaded a video in which Media Director Cabot Phillips speaks with students at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

When Phillips asks the students their opinion on Trump sending troops to the southern border of the United States, their reaction is exactly what one would expect.

“I feel like it’s not justified … it is like a totally uncalled for act of power,” one student said. Another student said she thinks the move “puts a bad light on America.” . . .

Then Phillips flipped the script: “Did you know that President Obama did the exact same thing when he was president?” he asked.

The student who called Trump’s actions an “uncalled for act of power” simply replied, “Like…” followed by a lengthy pause. He eventually finished his thought, saying, “I don’t know anything about that, personally. So, the difference is definitely with publicity and like, false information.” (Read more from “WATCH: Students Condemn Trump’s Decision to Send Troops to the Border… Before Finding out Their ‘Favorite’ President Did the Same Thing” HERE)

Gov. Brown Says He’s ‘Close to an Agreement’ with Trump Administration on California National Guard Deployment

By Capital Public Radio. Gov. Jerry Brown says he is “close to an agreement” with the Trump administration on deploying California’s National Guard to the Mexico border, but tweets from President Donald Trump seem to indicate otherwise.

On Wednesday morning, Trump tweeted that “Jerry Brown is trying to back out of the National Guard at the Border” and that “the people of the state are not happy.”

The Governor’s Office, meanwhile, has maintained that nothing has changed since California submitted a proposed agreement to the administration last week. (Read more from “Gov. Brown Says He’s ‘Close to an Agreement’ with Trump Administration on California National Guard Deployment” HERE)

Russian Lawyer Asks Mueller an Important Question

By AP. A Russian lawyer who discussed sanctions with Donald Trump Jr. in New York during his father’s 2016 campaign for the U.S. presidency said Sunday that special counsel Robert Mueller has not contacted her yet.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Natalia Veselnitskaya also detailed her recent meeting in Berlin with investigators from the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee. Like Mueller, the committee is investigating allegations of Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election.

Veselnitskaya met in June 2016 with then-candidate Donald Trump’s son, his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort, his campaign chairman at the time, Paul Manafort, after Trump Jr. was told the Russian lawyer had potentially incriminating information about Hillary Clinton. Can Mueller Be More Honest Than His Colleagues?

By The Hill. I think it’s entirely possible — likely, in fact — that Robert Mueller is an honest broker and performing his job as special counsel without fear or favor. That he will investigate until he reaches the end of the logical trail and present his legitimate findings accordingly, recommending prosecution of those who may have violated our nation’s laws and betrayed our trust.

But considering the information that’s become available in the past year, we would be remiss if we didn’t at least consider other possible scenarios. Here’s one of them, posited amidst the context of news that has come to light. It has to do with a special counsel probe with the appearance of several important conflicts of interest.

There are many excellent agents within our intelligence agencies who deserve great credit and respect. But we also know that some bad actors within those agencies have a daunting record of problems that include lying about evidence; conducting politically-motivated acts; botched terrorism investigations; improper surveillance of private citizens, members of Congress and journalists; providing incorrect information to Congress; and illegally withholding evidence.

When top FBI officials spoke privately of needing an “insurance policy” in case Trump were elected, what if they felt this “policy” were necessary not just because they hated Trump, or because they believed Trump was illegally conspiring with Russia? What if they feared what a Trump administration might uncover within the intelligence agencies … and what the administration might do to take steps to reform them? Go up against the intelligence agencies, and as top Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) warned, “They have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.”

Mueller isn’t exactly an unconflicted player in this scenario. He was FBI director from 2001-2013 when many alleged abuses occurred and — theoretically — would have a vested interest in protecting his former colleagues and his own legacy by preventing a Trump administration from poking around into alleged intelligence agency misdeeds.
