Disturbing Details Emerge: Florida Shooter ‘Murdered’ Animals and Posted Photos

More disturbing details have emerged about the suspect charged in the Wednesday shooting at a high school in Florida.

Nikolas Cruz, 19, allegedly opened fire with an AR-15 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in South Florida, killing at least 17 people. Cruz was charged Thursday with 17 counts of premeditated murder.

Many of Cruz’s classmates and neighbors did not seem surprised at his actions, pointing to his interactions with animals and what he posted on social media as evidence of his mental health issues, the U.K. Daily Mail reported.

Malcolm Roxburgh, one of his neighbors, said that Cruz seemed to target the family across the street who had pigs.

‘He didn’t like the pigs and didn’t like the neighbors, so he sent over his dog over there to try to attack them,” Roxburgh said, according to the Daily Mail.

A different neighbor, Shelby Speno, said that she saw Cruz shooting at someone’s chickens.

Cruz’s neighbors were not the only ones who noticed his wrongful treatment of animals, his former classmates recalled disturbing social media posts.

Dakota Mutchler, one of Cruz’s classmates, told the Daily Mail that Cruz had posted things on Instagram about killing animals and even talked about doing target practice in his backyard with a pellet gun.

A different student said that Cruz’s mental health issues were “ignored by all the adults.”

“He literally had an Instagram where he posted pictures of animals he killed gruesomely and he physically assaulted one of my friends once,” the student said.

Joshua Charo, another former classmate, told the Miami Herald that “(Cruz) seemed like the kind of kid who would do something like this.”

“He used to tell me he would shoot rats with his BB gun and he wanted this kind of gun, and how he liked to always shoot for practice.”

On Wednesday, YouTube user Ben Bennight posted a video to the platform claiming that in September 2017, a user named “Nikolas Cruz” posted a disturbing comment on one of his videos.

“Im going to be a professional school shooter,” the comment read.

On top of the social media posts, Jordan Jereb — the leader of a white nationalist militia — said Thursday that Cruz was a member of his group.

Jereb’s organization, the Republic of Florida, wants Florida to “become its own white ethno-state,” The Associated Press reported.

Though the group tries to avoid most involvement with the modern world, Jereb told the AP that they hold “spontaneous random demonstrations.” Cruz, Jereb said, used to participate in paramilitary drills with the white nationalist group in Tallahassee.

Jereb did not know Cruz personally, but he did note that the suspected killer was having “trouble with a girl.” As a result, he thinks it was no coincidence that the attack was carried out on Valentine’s Day.

WikiLeaks Private Messages About ‘Sadistic Sociopath’ Hillary Leaked

Leading up to the 2016 election, Julian Assange made no bones publicly about his opposition to Hillary Clinton, so to find out in private messages just leaked to The Intercept that he believed her presidency would be far worse than a Republican presidency is unsurprising. That said, some of the leaked “low security channel” messages between Assange and various WikiLeaks’ key online boosters contain some juicy quotes about Clinton, as well as an unfiltered insight into Assange’s approach to the 2016 election.

Assange’s WikiLeaks played a significant role in the 2016 election by leaking politically-damaging internal emails from the Democratic Party and Clinton allies. In the WikiLeaks chats shared with The Intercept, some of Assange’s motives for his campaign against Clinton are spelled out in black and white.

“We believe it would be much better for GOP to win,” he wrote on November 19, 2015, in a private Twitter direct message with the group of high-level supporters. “Dems+Media+liberals woudl then form a block to reign in their worst qualities. With Hillary in charge, GOP will be pushing for her worst qualities., dems+media+neoliberals will be mute.”

Two minutes later, he added his most scathing criticism of Clinton: “She’s a bright, well connected, sadistic sociopath.”

Assange made clear that rather than supporting Republicans, he stood in opposition to a Democratic stranglehold on the government, the power of which the media would fail to adequately check. Second Appeals Court Strikes Down Trump Travel Ban

The Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit struck down President Donald Trump’s executive order temporarily banning travel from eight countries recognized as state sponsors of terrorism: North Korea, Venezuela, Somalia, Chad, Yemen, Libya, Syria, and Iran.

This marks the second time a federal appeals court has overruled the ban; the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued a similar ruling last year, and an appeal from their decision has already been accepted by the United States Supreme Court.

In the 9-4 ruling, the panel of appeals judges sitting en banc determined that, after taking into account statements made by Trump Administration officials and surrounding discussion about the travel ban, that the action was unduly restrictive to Islamic travelers, and that it was “unconstitutionally tainted with animus towards Islam.”

The Trump Administration argued that, because the new ban considered only six majority Muslim countries, and featured at least two countries that did not have a religious majority — North Korea and Venezuela — that it was not unconstitutionally restrictive. Immigration from Venezuela was still allowed, and the United States is still able to issue student visas to visitors from Iran, Somalia, Yemen, Libya, and Chad, provided applicants have a sponsoring educational institution.

ACLU Sues Ohio over down Syndrome Abortion Law

Ohio’s American Civil Liberties Union sued the state over its recently passed ban on Down syndrome abortions, filing a Thursday complaint that asks the court to grant a permanent injunction on the law.

The ACLU filed their complaint Thursday on behalf of Preterm Cleveland and Planned Parenthood, asking the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio to issue a permanent injunction, according to National Public Radio.

The law is unconstitutional and violates “the very heart of the Fourteenth Amendment right to privacy and autonomy,” the complaint alleges. It also alleges the legislation undermines the mission of physicians to honor and support their patients’ decisions.

The lawsuit comes after Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a Republican, signed House Bill 214 into law in December, effectively banning doctors from aborting babies testing positive for Down syndrome and making Ohio the fourth state to ban Down syndrome abortions.

The law penalizes doctors for performing abortions on pregnant women who receive a positive test that their baby will have Down syndrome.

However, it does not fine or punish a woman who aborts her baby after receiving a positive test for the congenital disorder. The doctor who performs the abortion would be held responsible and would receive a fourth-degree felony charge, according to The Associated Press.

The legislation is set to take effect in late March.

“We are continuously encouraged by how Ohio is on the forefront of protecting the unborn,” Ohio Right To Life President Mike Gonidakis said in a statement after Kasich signed the bill, according to Cleveland.com.

“All Ohioans regardless of the gender, skin color or disability deserve the right to live out their God-given potential and purpose.”

The ban has received significant backlash, however, from other groups and persons besides the ACLU.

“It’s ironic that those who claim they believe in limited government are once again choosing to insert themselves in a relationship that is sacred between that practitioner and their patient,” said state Sen. Charleta Tavares, a Columbus Democrat who fears the bill will discourage doctors from practicing in Ohio.

France had a 77 percent termination rate as of 2015, and Denmark had a 98 percent termination rate for unborn Down syndrome babies. In the United Kingdom, 90 percent of pregnant women with a positive Down syndrome test receive an abortion, according to the BBC.

The Ohio Supreme Court also revoked the license of an abortion clinic in Toledo, Ohio, last week after years of inspection violations and a failure to meet the state’s abortion clinic standards. State inspectors found 24 violations at the abortion clinic in the past 10 years, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

Down syndrome abortion bans have also been introduced in Oklahoma, Missouri, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Utah.

Michelle Obama’s Portrait Dress Choice Is No Coincidence, Here’s the Sneaky Message She Sent

After former first lady Michelle Obama’s official portrait was unveiled Monday at the Smithsonian, many people pointed out that the face in the painting looked nothing like Obama herself.

But Obama’s face isn’t the only unique part of the painting. Rather, it’s the dress she wore in the portrait that may have sent a hidden political message.

The woman who designed the former first lady’s dress, Michelle Smith, is an outspoken supporter of liberal causes like LGBT equality and Planned Parenthood, in addition to being a vocal critic of President Donald Trump.

Smith, who co-owns the design company “Milly,” told The Washington Post that the dress Obama wore in the portrait was based off a similar design from her spring 2017 collection.

At that time, just months after Trump was inaugurated, Smith’s inspiration came from a “desire for equality, equality in human rights, racial equality, LGBTQ equality,” she said.

She highlighted the emphasis on different types of laces and ties in that collection — elements that were supposed to hearken a “feeling of being held back … that we’re not quite there yet.”

Meanwhile, the dress Obama wore was only altered slightly from a design worn by a model on the runway, Smith said, the major difference being that Obama’s dress is less “discreet” than the runway version, which was open in the back, according to The Post.

“People have been describing the dress as couture, but the fabric is a stretch cotton poplin,” Smith said. It may look “like couture but it’s made out of something spartan,” she added.

The political statement Obama may have been trying to make was not lost on outlets like Politico Magazine, which pointed out that Smith, unlike many other designers, is not afraid to make her views about the current administration known.

After unveiling campaigns in the spring and fall of 2017 that were geared toward the LGBT community, she noted she wanted to reach out to those people following Trump’s election.

“It felt right to reach out to the LGBT community who is feeling threatened right now under Trump and the administration,” Smith told The Hollywood Reporter.

Many of the photos she has used to advertise her designs have been unmistakable statements of support for LGBT rights.

She has released photos of women kissing each other, and in 2018, she used gender fluid model Elliott Sailors to promote her work.

In November 2017, moreover, she ranted to Teen Vogue that under Trump, the rights she “had sadly taken for granted” now felt “threatened.” Smith had hoped and assumed the U.S. would have its “first female president,” but she was mistaken.

“What I had felt to be an extraordinary triumph for equality — the election of an African-American president — was my children’s normal. Gay marriage and LGBTQ equality was their normal,” she said.

“Their generation, I had often thought, is where the real shift in equality and human rights will take place. I had easily assumed their next ultimate role model would be a female president. I was wrong. … All the rights I had sadly taken for granted . . . now felt threatened. I had to do something.”

In addition to her LGBT activism, Smith is a supporter of Planned Parenthood, and in 2017, she even created a T-shirt to commemorate the abortion provider’s 100th anniversary. All the profits from the shirt were donated to the organization.

And for the former first lady, it’s hardly the first time she has worn clothes designed by Smith’s company. Perhaps most notably, Obama wore a Milly-designed top when she posed for her final White House photographs.

Smith, moreover, said she was thrilled Obama wore her dress for the official portrait.

“This is the biggest honor as a designer – as an American!” she told ABC News, while noting that she had forgotten the portrait was being unveiled Monday.

Moreover, she said the dress was simple, not high-fashion.

Pelosi Demands Gun Control after Florida Shooting, Actor Adam Baldwin Shows How Wrong She Is

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi joined a bevy of Hollywood personalities calling for greater gun control measures following the Wednesday shooting at a Florida high school that left 17 dead, while actor Adam Baldwin said the better response is within the schools themselves.

“Too many of these instances take place across the country. As leaders, we have a moral obligation to prevent them and protect our communities. We need more than thoughts and prayers #EnoughIsEnough,” Pelosi tweeted.

In response to Pelosi’s tweet, actor Baldwin wrote that schools need better security including not just armed guards, but volunteer staff members with concealed carry permits.

Security expert Mark Fuhrman agreed that better school security is needed.

“I think you need to make school security a specialty,” Fuhrman said. “You need to make it a specialty just like terrorism.”

However, Baldwin and Fuhrman were countered by an abundance of liberal entertainers using the tragedy to push anti-Trump, anti-gun and anti-God talking points.

Actor Mark Ruffalo went so far as to say God does not respond to just thoughts and prayers.

Talk show host Chelsea Handler called for Americans to elect candidates that are not supported by the National Rifle Association.

“It is disgusting how many times this has happened and Republicans do nothing. You all have blood on your hands,” she tweeted.

Actor and director Rob Reiner managed to tie the shooting to Trump and Russia, saying the chief executive “refuses to support sensible gun safety laws.”

Conservative commentator Lawrence Meyers, writing for Townhall, noted that after a rash of school shootings in the 1970s, Israel implemented security features and active shooter protocols at schools, which ended the problem.

“Guards don’t just stand around,” he wrote. “They check everyone entering, and engage threats.”

“And yeah, they’ve got guns.The lawful purposes for carrying guns are very clear: protect school personnel and students, create a sense of security, deter the ill-intentioned, and provide self-defense,” Meyers added.

Following Wednesday’s shooting, California Democrat Sen. Diane Feinstein tweeted that she has introduced legislation to impose a new assault weapons ban.

She pointed out the shooter used an AR-15, which is a semi-automatic weapon that would be covered by the ban.

Dudley Brown, president of the National Association of Gun Rights, in a statement to The Western Journal, said, “The 10-year Feinstein ban (passed in the 1990s) on so-called ‘Assault Weapons’ and normal capacity magazines did nothing to reduce mass shootings or crimes, and was roundly dismissed as a failure, even by gun control fanatics.”

Erich Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America, agreed that more gun control measures will not address the mass shootings issue.

“[I]t is disgusting to see media pundits and politicians calling for gun control as the knee-jerk reaction to this tragedy,” he stated. “The fact is this tragedy happened in a gun free zone, where sadly over 98 percent of the public mass shootings occur.

“Furthermore, anti-gun liberals tell us that these types of shootings don’t occur in other countries. But that’s a lie. The U.S. is not even in the top ten when one compares international death rates resulting from mass shootings,” said Pratt.

As to the prevalence of privately owned weapons in the U.S., Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro tweeted a chart following the Las Vegas shooting last October showing that the murder rate has been trending down for decades in the U.S., despite gun ownership increasing significantly.

In other words, there is no correlation between the prevalence of guns and incidents of violent crime involving guns.

Notably, the rate remained low and then decreased further after the assault weapons ban, which was signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1994, expired in 2004. Florida Suspect Left Social Media Warning of Shooting

THE Florida school shooter left a chilling comment on a YouTube video about another mass shooting last year promising a copycat attack, it has been claimed.

Nikolas Cruz, 19, massacred 17 people and injured dozens more in a bloody gun rampage at his former school in Parkland, Florida, yesterday.

It’s since emerged the teen’s social media pages were filled with disturbing content, with ex-schoolmates claiming they “knew he would shoot up the school”.

And it has now been claimed that Cruz – who has since been charged for the attack – posted an ominous comment on a YouTube video about another infamous massacre.

U.N. Aid Workers Carried out 60,000 Rapes in a Decade

UN staff have carried out thousands of rapes all around the world, a former official claimed on Tuesday.

Andrew MacLeod, who was chief of operations at the UN’s Emergency Co-ordination Centre, warned that ‘predatory’ abusers used aid jobs to prey on vulnerable girls. The claim was made in a dossier passed to the former secretary for international development Priti Patel last year, according to The Sun newspaper.

He estimated 60,000 rapes had been carried out by UN staff in the past decade, with 3,300 paedophiles working in the organisation and its agencies. He added there is an ‘endemic’ of cover-ups with those trying to blow the whistle getting fired.

‘There are tens of thousands of aid workers around the world with paedophile tendencies, but if you wear a Unicef T-shirt nobody will ask what you’re up to,’ he told The Sun.

Army Drops Grenade Throwing Requirement to Graduate

The United States Army will no longer require recruits to show they can throw hand grenades 25 meters because many of them can’t throw the explosive far enough, it revealed on Friday.

The Army says that starting next summer it will remove the requirement from its Basic Combat Training because it takes too much time to teach enlistees to throw grenades at an adequate distance . . .

‘What we have found is it is taking far, far too much time,’ said Maj. Gen. Malcolm Frost, the commanding general of the US Army Center of Initial Military Training.

‘It’s taking three to four times as much time … just to qualify folks on the hand grenade course than we had designated so what is happening is it is taking away from other aspects of training.’

‘We are finding that there are a large number of trainees that come in that quite frankly just physically don’t have the capacity to throw a hand grenade 20 to 25 to 30 meters,’ he said. (Read more from “Army Drops Grenade Throwing Requirement to Graduate” HERE)
