Judge Strikes ‘Scandalous’ Reference to Group’s Terror Ties

The FBI has provided an abundance of evidence that the Council on American-Islamic Relations is a front for the Muslim Brotherhood and its Palestinian branch, Hamas.

And even a Persian Gulf state, the United Arab Emirates, has designated the Washington, D.C.-based organization a terrorist group, putting it in the same category as al-Qaida and ISIS.

But when parents suing the San Diego Unified School District for its alliance with CAIR in an anti-bullying and “anti-Islamophobia” program inserted a reference to CAIR’s terrorist ties in their complaint, a federal judge objected.

San Diego school officials complained that the citation of CAIR’s formation by Hamas operatives in the United States as a propaganda organ and the fact that more than a dozen former CAIR figures have been charged with terrorism-related crimes is “impertinent, immaterial and scandalous,” designed only to “inflame the public,” reported the Investigative Project on Terrorism, IPT.

The Origin of Valentine’s Day Is Not What You Think

. . .During the first three centuries of Christianity, there were 10 major persecutions in which the government threw Christians to the lions, boiled them alive, had their tongues cut out, and worse. Christian writings, scriptures and historical records were destroyed.

Because so many records were destroyed, details of Saint Valentine’s life are scant. What little is know was passed down and finally printed in the year 1260 in “Legenda Sanctorum” by Jacobus de Voragine, and in the Nuremberg Chronicle, 1493.

Saint Valentine was either a priest in Rome or a bishop in Terni, central Italy. He risked the Emperor’s wrath by standing up for traditional marriage, secretly marrying soldiers to their young brides. When Emperor Claudius demanded that Christians deny their consciences and worship pagan idols, Saint Valentine refused. Saint Valentine was arrested, dragged before the Prefect of Rome, and condemned him to die.

While awaiting execution, his jailer, Asterius, asked Saint Valentine to pray for his blind daughter. When she miraculously regained her sight, the jailer converted and was baptized, along with many others. Right before his execution, Saint Valentine wrote a note to the jailer’s daughter, signing it, “from your Valentine.”

‘The View’ Host Mock Pence’s Faith as ‘Mental Illness’

The women of ABC News’ “The View” took a shot a Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith on Tuesday, mocking the former governor of Indiana for talking to Jesus and even calling it a “mental illness.”

It all started when they played a clip from “Celebrity Big Brother,” in which former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman discussed the vice president . . .

Joy Behar then said: “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you.”

Behar said hearing voices is a “mental illness” before Sherri Shepard offered a limited defense of Pence.

Students Afraid to Express Support for Trump’s Border Wall

This year, much of the gridlock in Washington has centered around the inability of Congress to reach an agreement on immigration reform—particularly the idea of building a wall along the southern border.

Wanting to find out if college students would be as divided on the issue, Campus Reform headed to Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, to ask a simple question: What would you like to see on the border? . . .

While a few admitted off-camera that they like the idea of a wall, they refused to offer support for it on the record, citing fears that others on campus would ostracize them.

While some simply advocated for increased security, others immediately turned to “open borders” as the solution.

Girl Declared Dead While Alive Reawakens Another Famous Case

A foundation advocating for the disabled is accusing the New Yorker of presenting “fact-free assertions” that mislead readers about the death of Terri Schindler Schiavo.

WND has reported extensively on Schiavo, most recently when her brother, Bobby Schindler, lobbied for 11-month-old infant Charlie Gard, who died after Britain’s High Court ruled a hospital could take him off life support, even though his parents had raised more than $1.8 million to transfer him to the U.S. for treatment. Schiavo died after a court allowed doctors to withhold food and water . . .

The New Yorker piece focused on the case of Jahi McMath, who was declared dead after a tonsillectomy.

However, a judge later ordered a trial, which is coming in a few weeks, since McMath has been kept on life support by her family. An expert now has concluded that while she may have met the definition of death several years ago after her surgery, she no longer does . . .

Why Was There a Secret Talk with Obama Before Trump Arrival?

Then-FBI Director James Comey held a super-secret meeting with President Obama only two weeks before President Trump’s inauguration to discuss alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, and Comey appears to have intentionally misled Congress about the Oval Office talks.

Comey has never informed Congress of the Jan. 5, 2016, meeting that included the FBI director, President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, National Security Adviser Susan Rice and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates.

The meeting was revealed in an email sent by Rice to herself on Inauguration Day. It was timed just 15 minutes after President Trump took office . . .

Comey testified under oath before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on June 8, 2017, and he may have intentionally failed to disclose the encounter with Obama just before Trump took office.

“President Obama had a brief follow-on conversation with FBI Director Comey and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates in the Oval Office,” Rice wrote in her email, which was dated the day before Trump’s inauguration. Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’: Making Obvious Racism Cool!

Did you guys hear about that new movie, “White Panther”? It’s all about this white king who wants to build a wall around his kingdom. Oh, and he also makes all of the #MeToo women call him “My King” and has a quest for racial purity in his kingdom.

Oh wait. Flip that script.

That movie is called “Black Panther” and if you insert the word “black” for “white,” it pretty much sums up the comic book on which the movie is based . . .

It now seems to be the goal of virtue-signaling social justice warriors and liberals in general to, if not completely eliminate white people, then to make them feel overwhelmingly guilty over things with which they had no control or participation — e.g, slavery.

Never mind the fact that a tremendous number of White Devils — around 365,000 to be exact — bled and died to STOP the evil of slavery. You know — that pesky thing known as the Civil War. Scientists: World Facing a Looming Ice Age Due to Solar Cooling

Remember the 1989 science fiction novel The Dying Sun by Gary Blackwood, where people were forced to migrate from the US to Mexico because of the freezing weather triggered by cooling down of the Sun? Scientists are now afraid that such a situation can become a reality in the near future. The question that now arises is, are we at all prepared for another ice age?

A study by the University of California San Diego has claimed that by 2050, the Sun is expected to become cool. You might think “what’s the big deal,” but remember that this means the solar activities that create the heat of the Sun to sustain life on Earth may diminish. And the last time it happened was in the 17th century when the Thames River froze. Scientists call this the “Maunder Minimum”.

Physicist Dan Lubin at the university and his team studied the past event and concluded that we are in for a worse case. The Sun is expected to get much dimmer than last time and, in scientific terms, it is a “grand minimum” — a time period in the 11-year solar cycle when the solar activities are at the lowest point . . .

Scientists also said that the Sun might have another cooling period in a decade.

However, predicting a solar minimum or maximum is a challenge to scientists because of the non-linear characteristic of solar activities that happens every day. During a minimum cycle, though solar cycles still occur, the intensity is very low, while during a maximum cycle, solar flares go up and sun spews out billion-ton clouds of electrified gas into space. Ice Age Due Soon? 120 Studies This Past Year Link Climate Change to Solar Variations

By Bob Unruh. Global-warming diehards who converted their cause to “climate change” when the warming ceased a few years back are being dealt another blow as scientific forecasts of global cooling are about to take over.

“During 2017, 120 papers linking historical and modern climate change to variations in solar activity and its modulators (clouds, cosmic rays) have been published in scientific journals,” reported Kenneth Richard at NoTricksZone.

Richard compiled a list of multiple studies from the past few years drawing the same conclusion: It’s the sun’s activities that have a huge influence on whether earth’s temperatures vary. Thirteen forecast global cooling.

The global-warming alarmists contend mankind’s use of fossil fuels is irreparably heating up the earth’s average temperatures.

Actor: Trump Is ‘God’s Chosen Instrument’

Stephen Baldwin said that President Donald Trump is “God’s chosen instrument” during an interview with Faithwire on Feb. 2.

“What some Christians will say is, ‘we shouldn’t align with Trump, he’s got this horrible background, the rhetoric he uses is terrible, he’s not a good representative’ — so how do you — they’ll say, ‘how could Christians align with him?’ You know, they wouldn’t align with Bill Clinton, how would they align with Trump?” Baldwin said.

The younger brother of Alec Baldwin, who mocks Trump in his impersonations of the president on “Saturday Night Live,” explained that maybe Trump shouldn’t be judged on his past, CNSNews reported.

“I think President Trump is doing wonderful,” he says to host Billy Hallowell. “I think President Trump is getting better. I think he’s not a politician and he’s learning it quickly.”

The actor and Christian evangelist then compares Trump to the Biblical story of Paul, who was once Saul, a man who persecuted Christians.

“But, more important, who was Paul?” Baldwin asked. To which Halloway quietly responded, “He was once Saul.”

Saul was specifically chosen by God to be changed and fulfill God’s will.

“He was a Christian terrorist,” Baldwin said. “It would be like if Bin Laden walked in the room and said, ‘Hey man, I know what you read about me, I’m not that guy anymore.’ That was Saul.”

He continued, “In the story, when he goes blind and then runs into another guy who was called — heard the voice of God — to go meet him. The guy who was supposed to meet him said, ‘Well, there’s only one Saul of Tarsus, Lord, and I’m sure you’re wrong on this one — you don’t want me to go talk to this guy.’”

God then said that Saul, now Paul, was his chosen instrument.

“So, right now, Trump is God’s chosen instrument, whether we like it or not,” Baldwin concluded.

According to CNSNews, Baldwin became a born-again Christian after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The interview conversation then turned to the topic of abortion and people who are pro-choice but say they are Christian.

“The Bible’s very clear,” Baldwin said. “The word never changes. God’s word is very simple and clear, and if you don’t understand it, there’s ways to understand it, through podcasts and teachers and all kinds of things.”

Trump Tweets out Real Reason He Refused to Release Democrats’ Rebuttal Memo

The mainstream media got all wee-weed up (to use a phrase from Barack Obama) about a 10-page memo penned by Democrats intended to rebut the blockbuster memo by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee.

The GOP memo, written by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) and released last week, clearly showed that Obama’s Justice Department and his hand-picked minions at the FBI abused a surveillance program in order to spy on President-elect Donald Trump. Democrats (and their minions in the MSM) went into overdrive to dispute the memo (not very effectively, by the way).

So, Democrats decided to put together their own memo, drafted by hyper partisan lawmaker Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA). But they really didn’t care if the memo was released — in fact, they packed it with highly-classified information to make sure that it either wasn’t released or that it was heavily redacted. Their intent: Bash Trump and Republicans for lack of transparency.

Trump saw through their little reindeer games and nixed the whole thing . . .

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who had no role whatsoever in the House memo, said: “The President’s double standard when it comes to transparency is appalling. The rationale for releasing the Nunes memo, transparency, vanishes when it could show information that’s harmful to him.
