Jerusalem Cracking down on Terrorists

In a move aimed at stemming the tide of Palestinian terrorists illegally entering Israeli communities, especially in areas of Jerusalem where there is lack of an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) presence, IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot approved a plan to increase cooperation between local security officials and the IDF. The move is meant to improve communication and stop terror in its tracks.

“Though we are grateful that terror attacks in Israel decreased in 2017 from 2016, unfortunately, more Israelis were murdered,” noted Dr. John A.I. Grossman, Chairman of LIBI USA, an organization which provides for the welfare of Israel’s soldiers, to Breaking Israel News.

“Until terrorists stop their bombings, stabbings, car rammings and shooting of Israel’s soldiers and civilians, IDF soldiers must be supported in their efforts to protect those in the Holy Land.”

In an attempt to stop terror attacks before they happens, the IDF has already restructured its brigades and enhanced its cooperation with Jerusalem police units and authorities in nearby areas of Judea and Samaria. There will also be a joint-operations room set up to be used for all security authorities.

IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Ronen Manelis told military reporters that enhanced coordination with local police is a necessity due to the increase in the number of Palestinians from Judea and Samaria that have illegally penetrated areas in Israel lacking an IDF presence. Entire School Curriculum to Push ‘Gay’ Lifestyle?

A “gay” activist group in the United Kingdom has released a plan to advance its agenda through every subject taught in government-sponsored schools . . .

The plan is presented in a guide titled “Creating an LGBT-inclusive Curriculum: A Guide for Secondary Schools,” authored by Stonewall, the leading homosexuality promoter in the United Kingdom.

Ciarán Kelly, deputy director of the Christian Institute, charged that Stonewall is launching a “hostile takeover” of education.

“By issuing this guide, Stonewall appears to be trying to take over the national curriculum in a bid to advertise themselves,” Kelly said. “Pupils should be free from this unnecessary interference and not be put under pressure to endorse the LGBT agenda.” . . .

[The CEO of Stonewall] said that because “bullying” remains commonplace, “a crucial part of tackling this problem is delivering a curriculum that includes LGBT people and their experiences.” (Read more from “Entire School Curriculum to Push ‘Gay’ Lifestyle?” HERE)

Judge: Baker Has Right to Refuse ‘Same-Sex Wedding’ Cakes

A California judge has refused to advance a social agenda in his state that targets Christians who refuse to endorse homosexuality through their work.

In this case it was baker Cathy Miller of Tastries Bakery who was put in a state bull’s-eye because she refused to use her artistic talents to promote the “wedding” of two lesbians.

The state asked Superior Court Judge David Lampe to issue a preliminary injunction ordering Miller either to create wedding cakes for same-sex duos or be barred from serving anyone.

But Lampe recognized that the issue is not about discrimination against same-sex couples.

“The state is not petitioning the court to order defendants to sell a cake. The state asks this court to compel Miller to use her talents to design and create a cake she has not yet conceived with the knowledge that her work will be displayed in celebration of a marital union her religion forbids. For this court to force such compliance would do violence to the essentials of Free Speech guaranteed under the First Amendment,” he wrote. Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Plans to Become a Pastor

Nick Foles Plans to Become a Pastor After Football

By ABC News. Nick Foles has a calling far greater than throwing touchdown passes . . .

“I want to be a pastor in a high school,” Foles said Thursday. “It’s on my heart. I took a leap of faith last year and signed up to take classes at seminary. I wanted to continue to learn and challenge my faith. It’s a challenge because you are writing papers that are biblically correct. You want to impact people’s hearts.”

Foles is part of a team that has a strong Christian brotherhood. MVP contender Carson Wentz has been outspoken about his faith and many players spend a lot of time together in prayer, studying the Bible and sharing devotionals.

Foles was one of the study leaders during his first stint in Philadelphia and has become a go-to source for younger guys. Left guard Stefen Wisniewksi also plans to become a pastor after his career ends. (Read more from “Nick Foles Plans to Become a Pastor After Football” HERE)

By ABC News. The underdog Philadelphia Eagles upset the defending champion New England Patriots, 41-33, Sunday night, to win their first Super Bowl ever.

The victory over the dynastic Patriots was pulled out shortly after Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham stripped 40-year-old New England quarterback Tom Brady in the final minutes, setting up a 44-yard field goal from rookie kicker Jake Elliot with just over a minute left.

The Eagles were an underdog in Super Bowl LII as the NFC squad, led by an untested coach with only two years at the reins and a backup quarterback, 29-year-old Nick Foles, who had never won a playoff game before this season. New England, at most betting outlets, was favored to win by 4.5 points.

Foles was thrust into the starting role after MVP contender Carson Wentz was lost for the season when he suffered a torn ACL and LCL in a week 14 win over the Los Angeles Rams. (Read more from “Philadelphia Eagles Win Superbowl” HERE)

Trump’s SOTU Speech Gets Strong Public Support, Journalists Still Hate Him, and Other Outrageous Media Fiascos

By Fox News. President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech was met with strong public support. Seventy-five percent of Americans approved – including 43 percent of Democrats, according to a CBS News poll conducted right after the speech Tuesday. The news media have spent nearly every second since telling those same voters why they were wrong. It was a “Groundhog Day” moment with journalists playing the Bill Murray role doing the same thing they’ve done every day of this administration – criticizing President Trump.

Both CNN and MSNBC cited white nationalist nutball David Duke as supporting President Trump’s immigration views. NBC’s Capitol Hill Correspondent Kasie Hunt said Duke liked the president’s “Americans are dreamers too” comment. And CNN Political Analyst Kirsten Powers enjoyed mentioning that “white nationalists, David Duke praised him for saying this.”

NBC’s “Today” Co-Host Savannah Guthrie falsely claimed Trump is “under criminal investigation right now for obstruction of justice.” And ABC News’ Chief Political Analyst Matthew Dowd was Bill Murray-esque, once again claiming, “I think we are as divided now as we were” in the 1860s.

Perhaps Dowd can point on a map the locations of widespread red and blue armies, sieges or 750,000 deaths like we had in the Civil War.

MSNBC Host Rachel Maddow pretended President Trump “wants a war with North Korea.” And her fellow Host Joy Reid went further off the deep end, depicting traditional American values in the worst way. “Church … family … police … military … the national anthem … Trump trying to call on all the tropes of 1950s-era nationalism.” If that’s the party line on the left, President Trump can count on being in the White House another seven years. ‘Fake News Meets OBAMAgate’: Comey Assistant Leaves FBI for CNN

On Friday, a former FBI agent wrote an eye-catching opinion piece in the New York Times, claiming that he had retired from the Bureau because it had received unfair “political attacks” from Republicans in Congress.

Other than its entirely disingenuous premise (alleging Republicans are attacking the FBI as a whole, rather than investigating alleged misdeads under leaders James Comey and Andrew McCabe), the piece leaves out important information.

Nowhere in the opinion article does Campbell reveal the fact that he was James Comey’s special assistant. Campbell presents himself as someone who is unattached to the current political situation, leaving out the fact that he has a huge vested interest in defending Comey.

But it gets worse. Following the op-ed, John Cardillo, a host for The Rebel and former law enforcement officer, claimed that Campbell also left out the fact that he had already accepted an offer to become a CNN analyst.

It appears that Cardillo’s sources were correct. On Monday morning, CNN announced that Campbell had joined the network.

In joining CNN, Campbell has changed his social media information to remove his association with Comey. Prior to joining CNN, Campbell’s Twitter bio had revealed that he served as Comey’s special assistant.

Campbell’s misdirection appears to be borrowing from the tactics of his recent colleague, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. When attempting to get a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign, McCabe swore to the authenticity of the Trump-Russia dossier. He reportedly never told the FISA court judge the fact that the dossier was concocted by political forces who were paid by Hillary Clinton. Similarly, Campbell, in representing himself as a neutral force, has omitted the fact that he served as James Comey’s right-hand man. This Ad Might Have Been the Most Politically Charged Commercial of the Entire Super Bowl

Cellular phone company T-Mobile took a strong political stance Sunday with a Super Bowl commercial that had nothing to do with mobile phones.

The ad, narrated by liberal actress Kerry Washington, suggested that today’s infants will grow up to promote equality, in part by demanding “fair and equal pay” and loving “who (they) want.”

As Washington spoke, the camera panned over a diverse group of babies, as a lullaby version of Nirvana’s “All Apologies” played in the background. The minute-long commercial was titled, “Change starts here.”

“Welcome to the world little ones,” Washington said at the start of the ad.

“You come with open minds and the instinct that we are equal,” she continued. “Some people may see your differences and be threatened by them, but you are unstoppable. You’ll love who you want; you’ll demand fair and equal pay; you will not allow where you come from to dictate where you’re going.”

“Change starts here,” Washington concluded.

As noted by the Washington Examiner, the ad stood out, as many of the companies who paid to air commercials during Super Bowl LII avoided politics altogether.

T-Mobile’s choice to take a stance, though, seemed to be an intentional one.

“Brands have an important role in changing culture,” Nick Drake, T-Mobile’s executive vice president of marketing, told The Wall Street Journal. “There is always going to be some risk with these things, but we think this subject matter is something everybody can agree on.”

In a blog post on the company’s website, T-Mobile CEO John Legere noted that the company chose to air the ad because “this moment in history calls for something different.”

Legere emphasized that his company takes pride in listening to its customers, no matter their “economic class, race, sex, creed, gender identity, sexual orientation.”

Our customers are America. And there’s a more important conversation they’re having right now,” he said, adding, “We wanted to use our airtime to further that conversation by making this simple point: We all started in the same place. We are more alike than different.”

But at least on Twitter, many users claimed the T-Mobile ad’s message was unnecessarily politically charged. Some even suggested that T-Mobile was simply “pandering” to liberals.

Others pointed out irony in the fact that T-Mobile was able to air their commercial, but the NFL rejected an ad from a veterans group that encouraged fans to stand during the playing of the national anthem.

It’s far from the first time Legere has become embroiled in controversy. In April 2015, he got into a Twitter argument with then-businessman Donald Trump after the real estate magnate said T-Mobile’s service was “terrible.” (For more from the author of “This Ad Might Have Been the Most Politically Charged Commercial of the Entire Super Bowl” please click HERE)

Here Are the Eagles Players Who Will Skip Trump White House Visit After Super Bowl Win

It’s customary for championship-winning teams from the major American sports to visit the White House and celebrate with the president.

But despite their Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday, some Philadelphia Eagles players have made it clear they have no intention of being part of this tradition.

Prior to their team’s 41-33 win over the Patriots in Super Bowl LII, Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith and defensive end Chris Long said they didn’t want to visit the White House. Safety Malcom Jenkins said Monday that he too would boycott the White House visit.

Smith particularly cited President Donald Trump and the controversy surrounding NFL players who refuse to kneel during the playing of the national anthem. Trump has strongly criticized the anthem protests in a series of statements and tweets.

“We read the news just like everyone else,” Smith said Wednesday, according to NJ Advance Media. “You see Donald Trump tweet something. … We have those conversations in the locker room, just like everyone else does in the workplace. We’re very informed about what goes on, and we’re trying to continue to educate ourselves.”

“They call it the anthem protest,” he added. “We’re not protesting the anthem. It’s a protest during the anthem. I understand why people are mad, or may be offended when someone takes a knee.”

For Long, it’s the second time in as many years he will skip the White House visit. Last year, he was a member of the Super Bowl-winning Patriots, and he boycotted the customary trip then as well.

“No, I’m not going to the White House,” he said last week on the “Pardon My Take” podcast, as reported by USA Today. “Are you kidding me?”

During a media session, he would not detail his stance any further.

“I went through this last year with the Trump thing,” Long said. “I’m not going to get into it.”

On Monday, meanwhile, Jenkins appeared on CNN’s “New Day” to announce he would refuse to visit the White House.

“Nah, I personally do not anticipate attending,” Jenkins said.

After being asked if he had a message for Trump, Jenkins replied, “My message has been clear all year. … I want to see changes in our criminal justice system. I want to see us push for economical and educational advancement in communities of color and low-income communities.”

“And I want to see our relationship between our communities and our law enforcement be advanced.”

The relationship between Trump and NFL players has been strained all year, particularly after a September rally where the president called for the “sons of b—–s” who kneel during the anthem to be “fired.”

On Sunday, Trump released a statement prior to the Super Bowl, in which he emphasized the importance of honoring service men and women by standing for the anthem.

“We owe these heroes the greatest respect for defending our liberty and our American way of life. Their sacrifice is stitched into each star and every stripe of our Star-Spangled Banner,” Trump said.

“We hold them in our hearts and thank them for our freedom as we proudly stand for the National Anthem.”

No players kneeled during the anthem Sunday, though Jenkins, Smith and Eagles safety Rodney McLeod all raised their fists, as reported by New York Magazine.

Jenkins, Smith and Long might not be the only players who will skip the White House visit. Like Long, Eagles running back LeGarrette Blount was on the Patriots last year, and he too decided he did not want to take part in the tradition.

“I just don’t feel welcome into that house. I’m just going to leave it at that,” Blount said at the time. (For more from the author of “Here Are the Eagles Players Who Will Skip Trump White House Visit After Super Bowl Win” please click HERE)

Apparently This Restaurant Believes a ‘Gun-Free Zone’ Includes Kicking out Law Enforcement Officers

A uniformed officer with the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency was asked to leave an Outback Steakhouse on Friday night because he was carrying his sidearm.

The manager of the restaurant reportedly came up to Officer Andrew Ward and his wife Amanda at the Cleveland, Tennessee restaurant, where they were dinning during his dinner break, and asked him to put his gun in his truck.

Ward recounted in a Facebook post (which has been shared over 200,000 times) that the manager explained that the restaurant has a gun-free policy.

Ward responded telling her that he could not put his firearm in his truck because it is part of his uniform.

Management then asked Ward to leave the premises, which he and his wife did.

In his Facebook post, Ward wrote, “What is this country coming to? A uniformed Law Enforcement Officer who is sworn to protect and serve the public, is refused service because they have a firearm! I am disgusted and have no other words!!!”

The officer revealed that restaurant management later contacted him and apologized for the incident.

“There was another customer that was ‘scared for her life’ who was seated across from us,” Ward was told. “This customer also stated that she was afraid because ‘police are shooting people’ and this customer went on to demand to be escorted to her vehicle out of fear of being shot.”

The Director of Media and Community Relations for Bloomin’ Brands, Outback’s parent company, sent WTVC-TV a statement explaining the manager made a mistake in asking Ward to leave.

“We’ve always allowed uniformed law enforcement officers to carry their side arms inside our restaurants,” the statement read. “A manager made a mistake and we have discussed this with her. We have contacted the guest personally and apologized.”

WTVC-TV reported that Outback gave Ward and his wife a $100 gift card, which can be used at the Cleveland location or other affiliated restaurants owned by Bloomin’ Brands, including Carrabba’s and Bonefish Grill.

Ward wrote in a follow-up Facebook post Friday night that he holds no animus toward Outback and has accepted the restaurant chain’s apology.

“Outback has called and apologized to me and my family and we have truly accepted this apology,” he wrote. “There was a mistake made and that’s it… we all make mistakes and and must move forward with our lives.”

“If we move forward and learn from our past mistakes, they are no longer mistakes but Lessons!” the officer continued. “I am not nor will I ever be a perfect man…. there was only one perfect man ever to walk this earth and He died some 2000 years ago to forgive my sins. Thank you all so very much for the support.” (For more from the author of “Apparently This Restaurant Believes a ‘Gun-Free Zone’ Includes Kicking out Law Enforcement Officers” please click HERE)

Yeah, They Really Want Peace: Another Israeli Rabbi Slaughtered by a Palestinian Terrorist

On Monday, for the second time in the last month, a young rabbi living in Israel was slaughtered by a Palestinian terrorist. And here is the face of the cold-blooded murderer who stabbed the rabbi to death: . . .

As should be abundantly clear by now, if it hasn’t been for decades, if there are Palestinian Arab Muslims who want peace with the Jews of Israel, they certainly aren’t in the leadership.
