Shark Spotted Swimming Near Man Trying to Escape Police Custody

A North Carolina man allegedly attempted to elude police on Wednesday by diving into the ocean and swimming away — but unknowingly he was just feet away from a shark while trying the brazen escape.

Zachary Kingsbury, 20, was pulled over for a traffic stop just before 5 p.m. in Surf City, according to WECT.

He allegedly tried to escape when officers spotted illegal contraband inside the vehicle and asked him to exit the car. Kingsbury jumped into the ocean and began swimming away, leading to an hours-long standoff, officials said.

Within an hour, Kingsbury was reportedly 4,000 feet from the shore, and the Surf City Police Department launched a drone to track the escapee . . .

But as police were trying to save Kingsbury, they noticed a shark swimming near the man, drone footage showed. (Read more from “Shark Spotted Swimming Near Man Trying to Escape Police Custody” HERE)

Karate Kid: Georgia Boy Fights off Attempted Kidnapper With Martial Arts

When a would-be kidnapper attacked 10-year-old Georgia boy Sebastian Solache, the child put his karate knowledge to the test.

An intruder approached the Solache home in Hall County late Tuesday afternoon, according to Fox 5 Atlanta. Solache was in the driveway when a man grabbed him from behind and attempted to drag him toward the back of a neighboring house.

The young boy decided to use his understanding of karate to protect himself from the stranger.

“He drags me and I elbow him in the ribs,” Solache told Fox 5. “From there he slammed me on the floor and ran.” (Read more from “Karate Kid: Georgia Boy Fights off Attempted Kidnapper With Martial Arts” HERE)

Donald Trump Just Retaliated Against Russia. Here’s What He Did.

A common narrative presented by opponents of President Donald Trump is that he is, at best, too friendly with Russia, and at worst, actively working with the adversarial nation to further his own personal or business interests.

If that was ever the case, it doesn’t appear to be so anymore, as the Trump administration announced Thursday that Moscow will be required to shut down diplomatic posts in several major American cities in a continued tit-for-tat of Cold War-esque maneuvering between the two nations . . .

Why is the Trump administration doing this? Russian President Vladmir Putin ordered the expulsion of more than 700 U.S. diplomats after the U.S. imposed sanctions on Russia in July. Those sanctions were the result of Russian interference in the 2016 election, human rights violations, the annexation of Crimea and military operations in the Ukraine. Senators: Comey May Have Cleared Clinton Before Investigation

There’s more evidence that President Trump absolutely made the right decision to fire James Comey as his FBI director.

A new report indicates that Comey preemptively decided to exonerate Hillary Clinton, clearing her of all charges related to her email scandal before the FBI had an opportunity to interview her and her top deputies.

Senators Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., say newly released transcripts from a federal watchdog agency indicate that Comey decided to draft a statement exonerating Clinton in May of 2016, before Clinton was interviewed by the FBI.

The transcripts are interviews of two FBI officials, Jim Rybicki, Comey’s former chief of staff, and Trisha Anderson, a principle deputy general counsel, conducted by the Office of Special Counsel.

From Alexander Bolton and The Hill:

Grassley and Graham say one of the officials told investigators that Comey decided in early May of 2016 to draft a statement clearing Clinton of criminal charges but also criticizing her handling of classified material on a private email server.

At that point the FBI had yet to interview Clinton as well as several other important witnesses, including Cheryl Mills, a senior aide to Clinton, Bryan Pagliano, a former tech aide to Clinton, and Hannah Richert, a staffer at the Clinton Presidential Center, to name a few.

According to portions of the redacted transcripts made public by Grassley and Graham, the official they believe to be Rybicki acknowledged that in the spring of 2016, investigators had an idea of what the outcome of the investigation was going to be. At that point, the bureau had been looking into Clinton’s email server since July of the previous year.

“– but was there – I guess, based on what you’re saying, it sounds like there was an idea of where the outcome of the investigation was going to go?” the OSC investigator asked.

“Sure. There was a – right, there was – based on –” the FBI official replied — but the reasoning was redacted.

In a letter sent to new FBI Director Christopher Wray, Grassley and Graham are demanding that the FBI turn over all drafts of Comey’s statement closing the Clinton investigation, all related emails, and “any records previously provided to OSC in the course of its investigation.”

“Conclusion first, fact-gathering second — that’s no way to run an investigation. The FBI should be held to a higher standard than that, especially in a matter of such great public interest and controversy,” Grassley and Graham state in a letter.

It seems like the fix was in from the beginning for Comey to clear Clinton. (For more from the author of “Senators: Comey May Have Cleared Clinton Before Investigation” please click HERE)

Woman Who Resembles Danny DeVito Is Criticizing Melania Trump’s Fashion

Today we learned a very important lesson about looking before you speak.

A Vogue magazine editor named Lynn Yaeger has been trolling Melania Trump’s fashion choices this week after FLOTUS opted to wear heels aboard Air Force One.

Many people probably took her article seriously. Many people probably read Yaeger’s trolling pieces in Vogue and think of her as a fashion expert.

And these people would be wrong about everything except the part about Yaeger being a troll. She is in fact, a living, breathing, troll.

She breathlessly fusses over Melania’s stilettos, complaining the First Lady “is heading to visit them in footwear that is a challenge to walk in on dry land.”

Harry Reid Asked Obama to Help Menendez Donor

Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid personally asked the Obama administration to help a Florida eye doctor who was accused of paying Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes, according to the Department of Justice.

The senator asked Reid in November 2011 to pressure the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services to drop its ruling against Dr. Solomon Melgen, wherein the agency claimed the eye doctor over-billed Medicaid for $8.9 million, Bloomberg reports.

Reid called a former Obama aide to reportedly try and apply pressure on the administration to intervene in the case, but the aide refused to get involved in the matter after he realized the case involved a single doctor and a federal agency.

Menendez is set to appear before a judge in early September along with Melgen, who is charged with bribing the senator with large sums of money, extravagant trips and campaign fundraisers at his 6,500-square-foot home in North Palm Beach, Fla., in exchange for his assistance in navigating government disputes. Leftists Call for Removal of 3 Army Bases

The Southern Poverty Law Center has declared three of America’s largest Army bases Confederate monuments “with the potential to unleash more turmoil and bloodshed” if activists don’t “take down” the Army bases.

The SPLC included Fort Hood in Texas, Fort Bragg in North Carolina and Fort Benning in Georgia on a list of 1,500 “Confederate monuments” that the SPLC claims could inspire more violence like what happened in Charlottesville, Virginia last month. All three bases are named after Confederate military leaders.

The list makes no mention of renaming namesakes of Confederate monuments; taking the monuments down is presented as the only option. The recent leftist campaign against Confederate namesakes and monuments has included a willingness among some far-left actors to destroy government property to accomplish their goals.

“More than 1,500 Confederate monuments stand in communities like Charlottesville with the potential to unleash more turmoil and bloodshed,” the SPLC website states. “It’s time to take them down.” (Read more from “Leftists Call for Removal of 3 Army Bases” HERE)

‘Kill All White People’

The 22-year-old man suspected of shooting five middle-aged white men since last year — including four on south Kansas City walking trails — threatened in 2014 to shoot up a school and “kill all white people,” according to court records.

Fredrick Demond Scott, who was charged Tuesday in two killings and named as a suspect in three more, made those statements in January 2014 at Center Alternative School, as documented in a municipal citation for harassment.

Scott, who is black, has been charged with murder in the deaths of Steven Gibbons, 57, and John Palmer, 54. On Tuesday, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced those charges, also naming Scott as a suspect in the killings of David Lenox, 67; Timothy S. Rice, 57, of Excelsior Springs; and Mike Darby, 61, co-owner of Coach’s Bar & Grill at 103rd Street and Wornall Road.

All five were white men between ages 54 and 67. All five were fatally shot, most from behind, in surprise attacks as they walked dogs, visited parks and, in one case, walked down a city street. (Read more from “‘Kill All White People'” HERE)

Naked Brothers Arrested in Megachurch With ‘Gun’

Two brothers who barricaded themselves inside Harvest Orange County Church for two hours Wednesday night might have been armed with a fake gun and were intent on damaging the facility, a church official said on Thursday.

“At this point, it appears to be vandalism,” said Johnnie Moore, a spokesman for Harvest Orange County. “We are confident the situation is fully resolved. All services and programs will continue as normal, but Harvest is taking additional security measures for the foreseeable future as a precaution.”

Police on Thursday announced the arrest of Paul Vincent Vielkind, 24, and Brandon Joseph Vielkind, 22, both of Riverside, on suspicion of burglary and felony vandalism. They were being held Thursday in the Orange County Jail. (Read more from “Naked Brothers Arrested in Megachurch With ‘Gun'” HERE)

Trump Under House Arrest?

Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow spoke to journalist Mike Cernovich on Breitbart News Daily this morning discussing the Trump presidency, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s influence, and the possibility of President Trump being held under “house arrest.”

Mike Cernovich appeared on Breitbart News Daily today to speak to Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow about issues surrounding the Trump Presidency. Cernovich has a running series of posts called ” Dispatches from Trumpland” that were at the center of their discussion. “There’s some pretty explosive stuff in your report,” said Alex Marlow referencing Cernovich’s recent Trump Dispatches, “and so I just wanted to unpack some of it with you, the first place where it starts in your dispatch is that Trump is on house arrest and you cite John Bolton who people thought was under consideration for National Security Advisor, for Secretary of State who can’t even have access to the President right now and this is a pretty big departure from campaign trail Trump.”

“Exactly, so I’d heard from people that Trump is on house arrest,” replied Mike Cernovich, “I thought ‘oh c’mon, the President of the United States, that’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard’, but I kept digging into it and I kept hearing the same thing over and over again and then, of course, John Bolton wrote his column for National Review and he’s begging people to retweet it, he said ‘this is the only way the President is gonna see it,’ and I’ll say Alex, I don’t really understand, how can Trump not see who he wants to see? This is something I don’t really fully comprehend within the White House. I have talked to a lot of people, it’s a very weird situation.”

Marlow agreed, “it is a very weird situation, and this is something that I’m afraid is systemic of something that’s happening inside, people that listen to the show know that I’m not a huge ‘Javanka’ fan,” referencing Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, “and I’m just seeing the numbers here Mike and the people inside the White House, you’ve got Kushner, you’ve got Ivanka Trump, Gary Cohn, Dinah Powell, H.R. McMaster, who I know you were really the first person to call him out as a big threat to the MAGA agenda. And it’s just overwhelming and now with no Bannon and with no Gorka, just where is the President getting information that can tie him, connect him to his own base?” (Read more from “Trump Under House Arrest?” HERE)
