California Dreamin’: Cali Demands APOLOGY From Trump? Fat Chance!

The state legislature in the People’s Republic of California has passed a resolution that demands Trump “publicly apologize to all Americans for his racist and bigoted behavior.”

Yes, these are the kinds of constructive bills California lawmakers are coming up with to fix their insolvent state. (Next on the agenda is making it impossible to deport illegals who commit felonies!)

The alleged basis for Trump’s “racist and bigoted behavior” was when he condemned “in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides” in the wake of the Charlottesville clashes.

If that made you scratch your head, it’s because it makes no sense; most rational people don’t equate condemning “hatred, bigotry, and violence” with “racist and bigoted behavior.”

But the green commies in California don’t seem to get that, for some reason. Maybe it’s time for them to lay off the pot.

In a FREE White House Brief, I explain all the terrific things Trump is doing to improve the country and shouldn’t apologize for. Watch:

No, the #TakeAKnee Protests Are Not ‘Brave’

So, President Donald Trump literally brought his political opponents to their knees over the weekend, and somehow the athletes and others kneeling in protest of the national anthem are being paraded as “brave,” which is nonsensical and gives Trump exactly what he wanted.

Let’s back up and review. Last Friday, during a rally for Sen. Luther Strange, R-Ala., the president made an offhand comment criticizing the National Football League for standing by while players like Colin Kaepernick kneel in protest during the national anthem. Playing to the crowd with a comment he knew would be popular (it turns out “make America great again” Trump supporters have little tolerance for people who disrespect the American flag and the national anthem), the president rhetorically asked his audience, “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, say ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, he’s fired? He’s fired!’”

President Trump was looking for two things — the applause of the crowd at the rally (which would solidify his base), and the mainstream media to overreact to that comment (which would solidify his base). He got both, so on Saturday he doubled down on a winning formula by disinviting the Golden State Warriors to the White House because Stephen Curry was thinking about skipping the traditional NBA champions celebration. He followed that up by criticizing NFL players who protest the national anthem over and over and over again.

That formula — incendiary comment plus media overreaction equals profit — paid off bigtime on Sunday, when hundreds of NFL players and coaches decided to protest President Trump by taking a knee during the national anthem before Sunday’s games started. This is the exact reaction the president wanted. With the latest iteration of Obamacare repeal all but dead in the United States Senate, with the details on tax reform still unclear, with no big wins since Neil Gorsuch, and with President Trump’s Senate candidate lagging behind in Alabama, Trump needed to remind the people who made him president how awful the Left is to shore up his support.

Trump got what he wanted in spades — first with the athletes stupidly disrespecting a symbol of American unity to protest an allegedly divisive president, and second with a chorus of liberal blue checkmarks on Twitter proclaiming NFL kneelers to be “brave” for doing so.

Taking the knee during the national anthem is not brave. At all. What, exactly, are these multi-millionaire athletes risking by doing what’s popular — protesting President Trump — to the adoration of liberals in our entertainment-media complex and in pop culture? Not their jobs. Colin Kaepernick wasn’t drafted by the NFL because he’s a bad quarterback, not because of his protest, and the NFL is not about to fire hundreds of its players (and the coaches who supported them).

Ultimately, they risk nothing except the ratings of people who are tuning out because they don’t want football games politicized. And you know what? When people tune out because of these protests, that doesn’t bring attention to injustices in American society — what the kneelers supposedly want. It doesn’t bring people together. Instead, it just makes patriotic Americans angry and fuels the divisions in this country. Hardly brave.

You want to know what real bravery is? Real bravery is risking your life to save others. That’s what Robert Engle did when he tackled the gunman shooting up the congregation of Burnette Chapel Church of Christ Sunday morning. After witnessing six people in his congregation get shot by a masked man wielding two firearms, Engle leapt into action and subdued the gunman — taking injuries as he was pistol-whipped. In the struggle, the shooter shot himself, and Engle retrieved his own firearm from his car to hold the man until the police arrived.

“He’s amazing,” a witness told reporters about Engle. “Without him I think it could be worse. He was the hero today.”

But Engle didn’t take credit for himself. “The real heroes are the police, first responders and medical staff and doctors who have helped me and everyone affected,” he said, asking for prayers for all those injured as well as the shooter.

Forty-two people were at the church the morning of the attack. Seven people were shot, one fatally in the parking lot, and because Robert Engle risked his life, no more were hurt. Nobody outside that church knew who Robert Engle was on Saturday.

He didn’t act for fame, for a message, or for glory. He took a stand, risking everything, to help people in need. That’s real American bravery, and the American people know it.

Taking a knee cannot compare to the real bravery of America’s Robert Engles, the bravery of our policemen, firefighters, first responders, soldiers, and veterans. The liberal chorus in the entertainment and pop-culture world is upholding a virtue-signaling as virtue. This is disgusting to those who can see through it. And that’s how the Left plays into Trump’s hands. (For more from the author of “No, the #TakeAKnee Protests Are Not ‘Brave'” please click HERE)

Anthony Weiner Sent to Prison

After sabotaging his career, humiliating his wife and lying to the people of New York City, disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner was sentenced Monday to 21 months in prison for persuading a 15-year-old girl from North Carolina to undress and touch herself via Skype in 2016.

The feds said Weiner began a two-month sexting session with the teen shortly after she messaged him on Twitter in January 2016.

Police surrounded the New York courthouse as he made his way in.

Weiner, 53, dropped his head into his hand and wept as the sentence was announced by Judge Denise Cote. He must surrender to prison officials by Nov. 6., reported the Associated Press.

As Cote read the terms of Weiner’s sentence — including three years of supervised release and a $10,000 fine — he bowed his head and sobbed, holding a hand over his eyes. (Read more from “Anthony Weiner Sent to Prison” HERE)

Roy Moore Takes 16-Point Lead in Senate Race

Yes, this poll was conducted over the weekend, after Trump’s rally for Strange on Friday night. And yes, the pollster is legit. It’s Trafalgar, whom you may remember as having called Michigan and Pennsylvania last fall with eerie precision when most others in the field were projecting Hillary Clinton wins by comfortable-ish margins . . .

Moore’s being outspent on TV five to one, per Politico, and still cruising. The only hopeful note for the White House in that report is that the race is tightening … but what if that isn’t true? What if it’s nonsense being pushed by the party to give Strange supporters in Alabama reason to turn out tomorrow instead of giving up hope and staying home?

Does this look like a race that’s tightening?

‘It’s in the Quran,’ Says Muslim Who Beheaded Oklahoma Co-Worker

Was Alton Nolen mentally ill when he beheaded a female co-worker and tried to behead a second woman at a food plant in Oklahoma on Sept. 25, 2014, or was he simply being a good Muslim by following the dictates of the Quran?

That’s the issue the jury will have to decide in the 33-year-old Muslim convert’s trial, which opened last week and continued Monday in Norman, Oklahoma.

Nolen told police in 2014 he beheaded his co-worker, Colleen Hufford, and tried to behead another woman at the plant because he felt “oppressed” as a Muslim.

“You know all I was doing was … what I was supposed to do as a Muslim,” Nolen said. “It’s in the Quran.”

There were reports at after the incident that Nolen had tried to convert several of his co-workers to Islam and they were not receptive, which may have fueled his rage. (Read more from “‘It’s in the Quran,’ Says Muslim Who Beheaded Oklahoma Co-Worker” HERE)

Who Killed Seth? Fresh Hunt for Leads on Rich’s Killer

The murder of Seth Rich, the Democratic National Committee staffer some believe leaked DNC emails to WikiLeaks, remains unsolved.

Now, more than a year later, lobbyist and lawyer Jack Burkman has launched a new nationwide TV campaign pleading for the public’s help.

As WND has reported, Rich, 27, the DNC’s voter expansion data director, had accepted a position with Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign just before his death.

On July 10, 2016, he was fatally shot in the back in Washington, D.C., near his apartment in an affluent neighborhood. Rich had been working for the DNC at a time when emails from the organization were being handed over to WikiLeaks for publication.

The Metropolitan Police Department and Washington Mayor Muriel Bowers insist Rich was randomly killed during a “botched robbery.” (Read more from “Who Killed Seth? Fresh Hunt for Leads on Rich’s Killer” HERE)

Look Who Likes Kim Jong Un Now

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is growing in popularity on America’s political left-wing as the despot engages in a war of words with President Trump.

Progressives have shown an increasing willingness to embrace the brutal dictator as a means of attacking Trump, and some in the media have given the brutal dictator friendly, celebrity-like coverage.

Left-wing activists, meanwhile, are eagerly spreading pro-North Korea propaganda and making excuses for the dictator’s murderous activities.

Un’s public attacks on Trump on Tuesday prompted praise for the dictator by some in the media.

Washington Post columnist Petula Dvorak fawned over Un in a column published Friday morning. (Read more from “Look Who Likes Kim Jong Un Now” HERE)

Buffalo Bills Stadium Employee Quits After Players Kneel During Anthem

A Buffalo Bills stadium employee quit his job after at least a dozen team players kneeled during the national anthem prior to their game Sunday afternoon.

Erich Nikischer, who worked at New Era Field for almost 30 years, told WGRZ-TV that he quit right after he saw Bills players kneeling during the anthem as a form of protest.

“I waited until the national anthem ended, I took off my shirt, threw my Bills hat on the ground, walked out,” Nikischer said.

The former employee said he believes people have the right to protest, but feels that doing so during The Star-Spangled Banner is disrespectful.

“During the National Anthem… the song that is about our country, our veterans that fight and die for us, it’s just something I feel you shouldn’t disrespect that way. I believe people have the right to protest; I just don’t believe that’s the proper venue for it,” Nikischer added. ‘Declaration of War’: North Korea Claims Trump Speech Brought ‘All Options’ to the Table

A North Korean official said President Trump’s comments last week to the United Nations General Assembly amounted to a U.S. “declaration of war” against the Hermit Kingdom — the latest rhetoric in a war of words that comes a day after a propaganda video from Pyongyang featured missiles demolishing a U.S. aircraft and jets.

The 90-second video released on the DPRK Today news site one day after U.S. jets flew over waters east of North Korea, began with images mocking Trump before flashing to a submarine-launched missile striking the USS Carl Vinson, Yonhap News Agency reported. The aircraft carrier is seen exploding and disintegrating into pieces.

Meanwhile, words flash across the screen warning America against considering military action: “Should F-35, B-1B or the Carl Vinson lead the U.S attack, they will head to the grave in that order.” (Read more from “‘Declaration of War’: North Korea Claims Trump Speech Brought ‘All Options’ to the Table” HERE)

Another Senator Says No to Obamacare Repeal Bill

Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, said Monday she will vote against the latest ObamaCare repeal bill, effectively killing the Graham-Cassidy legislation.

Collins’ announcement came minutes after the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released figures estimating that the legislation would “result in millions fewer people with comprehensive health insurance that covers high-cost medical events.”

In a statement, Collins referred to the Graham-Cassidy bill as “deeply flawed,” and that health care reform cannot be done properly “in a compressed time frame.”

“Sweeping reforms to our health care system and to Medicaid can’t be done well in a compressed time frame, especially when the actual bill is a moving target,” Collins said.

“Today, we find out that there is now a fourth version of the Graham-Cassidy proposal, which is as deeply flawed as the previous iterations. The fact that a new version of this bill was released the very week we are supposed to vote compounds the problem,” the senator’s statement read.
