‘Something of Biblical Proportion’ Will Happen Under Trump in Mideast

Mike Huckabee, the incoming U.S. ambassador to Israel, is optimistic about the future of the Mideast, believing “something of biblical proportion” will happen in the region under the leadership of President Donald Trump.

“I’m personally optimistic that we’re going to see something bold,” Huckabee said on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo.

“I will use this term, Maria. I think we will see something of biblical proportion happen with his leadership in the Middle East.”

His remarks come in the wake of last week’s announcement by Trump that the U.S. will take over the troubled Gaza Strip to help transform it from a “demolition site” to a Riviera-style region.

“President Trump did something bold,” Huckabee said.” He looked into the future and said kind of a what if. We don’t know exactly what might happen in Gaza, but here’s what could have happened in Gaza. (Read more from “‘Something of Biblical Proportion’ Will Happen Under Trump in Mideast” HERE)

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem Gets in Fiery Exchange With CNN Host Over Elon Musk, DOGE: ‘Can’t Trust Our Government’

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem clashed with a CNN host over trust in government despite being a federal official while defending tech mogul Elon Musk’s access to sensitive data.

CNN moderator Dana Bash goaded Noem Sunday by noting how Republicans were once wary about “government, particularly unelected people, having access to personal data.”

“Well, we can’t trust our government anymore,” Noem replied.

That prompted the CNN host to remind her that “you are the government now.”

“Yes, that’s what I’m saying, is that the American people now are saying that we have had our personal information shared and out there in the public,” Noem shot back. Trump Reveals He’s Spoken With Putin by Phone, Says Russian President ‘Wants to See People Stop Dying’ in Ukraine War

President Trump has spoken to Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the phone to try to negotiate an end to the Ukraine war, he told The Post in an exclusive interview aboard Air Force One Friday.

“I’d better not say,” said Trump when asked how many times the two leaders have spoken.

But he believes Putin “does care” about the killing on the battlefield.

“He wants to see people stop dying,” said Trump.

“All those dead people. Young, young, beautiful people. They’re like your kids, two million of them – and for no reason.”

Trump Revokes Security Clearances, Denies Access To Federal Buildings To Slew Of Former, Current Officials

President Donald Trump has ordered that some former and current federal and state officials lose their security clearance and access to federal buildings, the New York Post reported Saturday.

Former Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg are three of the eight officials who are expected to be affected, according to the outlet. The revocations come just a day after Trump revoked the security clearance of his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, and ended Biden’s daily intelligence briefings, citing reciprocity and cognitive decline.

Blinken spearheaded the Oct. 20, 2020 missive signed by 51 former intelligence officials that implied that the news story of a laptop belonging to former President Joe Biden’s son Hunter that revealed Hunter’s exploitation of his father’s position — with his father’s probable knowledge — for Hunter’s gain was Russian disinformation, former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morrell told lawmakers.

“Bad guy. Take away his passes,” Trump said concerning Blinken, the Post reported. “This is to take away every right they have [revoking security clearances] including they can’t go into [federal] buildings.” (Read more from “Trump Revokes Security Clearances, Denies Access To Federal Buildings To Slew Of Former, Current Officials” HERE)

‘Let’s Do A Deal’: Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy Says Yes To Trump’s Demands

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told Reuters on Friday that he hopes to make a deal with President Donald Trump to bring an end to the war with Russia.

During his campaign for office, Trump vowed to bring peace to the world, as multiple foreign wars had been pushed during the Biden-Harris administration. In an interview with Reuters, Zelenskyy said he was open to making a deal with the U.S. regarding Trump’s request for Ukraine to supply the U.S. with rare earths and other minerals in exchange for continued financial aid.

“These deposits are priceless, it is huge amounts of money, huge. That’s why we need to protect it,” Zelenskyy said. “If we are talking about a deal, then let’s do a deal, we are only for it.”

The Russia-Ukraine war has lasted more than two years, with the Biden-Harris administration providing $175 billion in economic and military aid to Ukraine, but the conflict shows no signs of ending. Last year, Ukraine presented a “victory plan,” suggesting the idea of allowing allies to invest in its essential minerals, according to Reuters.

With Russian occupation controlling less than 20% of Ukraine’s mineral resources, including roughly half of its rare earth deposits, Zelenskyy told Reuters that Moscow could potentially strike deals with North Korea and Iran. Jesus Takes Center Stage at Super Bowl LIX

Super Bowl LIX is shaping up to be a continuation of an emerging trend: football players becoming outspoken advocates for their Christian faith.

Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles players spoke about the importance of their belief in Jesus and the Gospel during a series of interviews with Sports Spectrum this week.

When asked by Sports Spectrum’s Annabelle Hasselbeck who Jesus is to him, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes replied, “Jesus is my Lord and Savior. It’s someone that I look up to every single day to decide what I want to do with my life and how I want to live my life. And so, Jesus is everything to me at the end of the day.”

Mahomes’ counterpart, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, has long professed his faith in Jesus.

“I’ve always wanted to root myself in that and keep Him in the center of my life in everything I do,” Hurts told Sports Spectrum’s Matt Forte. “Through the highs and the lows, He’s greater than all of them.”
