Top Federal Agency With History of Wasteful Spending Could Be Next DOGE Target

Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chief Elon Musk’s efforts to clean up waste and fraud in the federal government will soon shift its focus to the Social Security Administration (SSA) in a move likely to create a firestorm with Democrats.

The SSA, created by the Social Security Act under President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1935 and tasked with establishing a federal benefits system for older Americans, will soon become a focus of DOGE, according to a report from Semafor that was not denied by the White House when contacted by Fox News Digital.

While several Democrats — including Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., in a post on X — have been quick to accuse this move as being aimed at slashing Social Security benefits for the elderly, several areas with potential waste exist in the agency that don’t involve cutting current benefits.

Just Facts, a nonprofit research institute, previously reported that the agency disbursed roughly $2 billion in fraudulent or improper payments in 2022, which it calculated was enough “to pay 89,947 retired workers the average annual old-age benefit of $21,924 for 2023.”

Just Facts explained that through a policy known as “administrative finality,” once the “SSA mistakenly overpays a beneficiary for more than four years, it does not recover past overpayments and deliberately continues to make future overpayments excepting cases of fraud.” (Read more from “Top Federal Agency With History of Wasteful Spending Could Be Next DOGE Target” HERE)

Trump Freezes Aid to South Africa, Promotes Resettlement of Refugees Facing Race Discrimination

President Donald Trump on Friday signed an executive order cutting all foreign aid to South Africa, citing concerns about the country “seizing” ethnic minority Afrikaners’ agricultural property without compensation.

Trump alleged South Africa’s recently enacted Expropriation Act 13 of 2024 “dismantles equal opportunity in employment, education, and business.”

The order notes “hateful rhetoric” and government actions have been “fueling disproportionate violence against racially disfavored landowners.”

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa previously released a statement arguing that no land was confiscated.

“We look forward to engaging with the Trump administration over our land reform policy and issues of bilateral interest,” according to the statement. “We are certain that out of those engagements, we will share a better and common understanding over these matters.” (Read more from “Trump Freezes Aid to South Africa, Promotes Resettlement of Refugees Facing Race Discrimination” HERE)

Immigrants Took Nearly 90% of New Jobs Since 2020

The U.S. economy has netted 5.4 million jobs over the past five years, with 90% of that growth going to immigrants, according to new government data Friday.

That works out to 4.7 million net new jobs filled by immigrants compared with January 2020, or just before the pandemic and before the Biden border surge.

By contrast, U.S.-born employment is up just 645,000.

In just the past year, immigrants netted 1.9 million new jobs, or 72% of the total growth.

Steven Camarota, research director at the Center for Immigration Studies, said 60% of the new immigrant-held jobs went to those in the country illegally. (Read more from “Immigrants Took Nearly 90% of New Jobs Since 2020” HERE)

Trump Revokes Joe Biden’s Security Clearances

President Donald Trump announced that he had revoked former President Joe Biden’s security clearances, noting that there was “no need” for the former president to “continue receiving access to classified information.”

“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings. He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents.”

Trump added that the “Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from ‘poor memory’ and, even in his ‘prime,’ could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Black Hawk Had Key Safety System Turned Off During Deadly DC Crash, Senator Says

A key safety system was turned off on the US Army helicopter that collided with an American Airlines regional jet last week near Washington’s Reagan Airport, killing 67.

Senate Commerce Committee Chair Ted Cruz (R-Texas) told reporters the Black Hawk helicopter had turned off its automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B), which is permitted for military aircraft.

“This was a training mission, so there was no compelling national security reason for ADS-B to be turned off,” Cruz said after a briefing from the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration.

In the deadliest US air disaster in more than 20 years, the aircraft collided last week, with both craft plunging into the Potomac River.

The helicopter was flying about 100 feet over the maximum allowed for that route, the NTSB said earlier. (Read more from “Black Hawk Had Key Safety System Turned Off During Deadly DC Crash, Senator Says” HERE)

Trump’s Response to Time Magazine’s Attempt to Troll Him With Its New Cover Is Brilliant

President Donald Trump’s response to Time Magazine’s latest cover, which many saw as a blatant attempt to troll him, is nothing short of brilliant. In typical Trump fashion, he swiftly turned the tables, using the magazine’s mockery to his advantage and drawing attention to his achievements while turning the spotlight back onto his critics. His quick-witted reaction highlights his knack for commanding the narrative, proving again that he’s always ready to fight back when the left-wing media takes aim.

On Friday, during a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, reporters asked Trump about Time Magazine’s latest front cover, which has Elon Musk sitting behind the president’s resolute desk.

In an apparent attempt to troll Trump, the magazine’s effort backfired spectacularly.

“Is Time magazine still in business?” Trump asked. “I didn’t even know that.”

Joe Rogan Shares the Most Shocking Thing He Thinks About Elon Musk

Joe Rogan recently shared his thoughts on Elon Musk, revealing the one thing that left him truly astonished about the tech mogul. Despite Musk’s towering achievements, it wasn’t his groundbreaking ventures like SpaceX or Tesla that impressed Rogan most. Instead, it was Musk’s unrelenting focus on exposing the federal government and all of the “weird shady sh*t” happening in DC. Rogan marveled at Musk’s unparalleled vision and commitment to dismantling wasteful spending in the wake of DOGE’s review of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), including a $1.5 million program slated to “advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in Serbia’s workplaces and business communities” and a $70,000 program for a “DEI musical” in Ireland.

“What’s fascinating right now is we’re getting a chance to see what happens when you take a business approach to the government in the White House,” Rogan said during an episode of his podcast, “The Joe Rohan Experience.” “We’re seeing right now with this whole USAID thing where they’re uncovering massive amounts of corruption and waste and just a lot of weird, shady s— with NGOs and where an enormous amount of money is going.”

“And instead of saying like, well, this is just how it is, and this is how these politicians get funded, so let’s just keep this thing going the same way it is and make some incremental changes to try to make people happy, so we still get elected,” he continued.

While Musk’s move has been controversial by many, Rogan cheered the tech mogul and President Donald Trump for “just going ham,” knowing that Trump cannot run after this term.

“The same people that say we need radical change, we need radical change, we’ve got corruption, we need radical change. Okay, well, here’s your radical change.” (Read more from “Joe Rogan Shares the Most Shocking Thing He Thinks About Elon Musk” HERE)

Trump Signals He’ll Fight For Reality At UNICEF With Motion To Nuke DEI And Trans Ideology

In an unexpected move Friday, the Trump administration issued a series of amendments to the UNICEF executive board that would have effectively rooted out transgender ideology and so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion programs from the United Nations’ children’s agency.

Though the amendments failed to pass, they demonstrated that even at the U.N., the Trump administration intends to fight on all fronts. They also represented a sea change; only a few weeks ago when Joe Biden was still president of the United States, U.S. diplomats took the opposite position to the one they now take on behalf of the Trump administration.

The U.S. representative told the board, “These country program documents contain terms and concepts that promote immoral discrimination and advance harmful gender ideology in defiance of biological reality, both of which conflict with U.S. policies.”

“The United States objects to any UNICEF efforts to advance such programming in countries,” he added.

“It is U.S. policy to recognize two sexes, male and female, and not to promote gender ideology,” the representative said. “It is particularly disturbing that this language is being used in UNICEF programming documents. Children should be protected from this dangerous ideology and its possible results.” (Read more from “Trump Signals He’ll Fight For Reality At UNICEF With Motion To Nuke DEI And Trans Ideology” HERE)

School District Approves Pornographic Book In Class, Bans Requirement For Parental Consent

Conservative Indiana lawmakers want to pass a bill banning sexually explicit material in school classrooms after another district approved a pornographic book in the face of parents’ objections.

In September, the board for the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) in Columbus, Indiana (located between Indianapolis and Louisville), voted to approve a book titled Push by Sapphire, despite protests from parents concerned about graphic text. One board member read passages from the book at the meeting where they passed a measure that bars parents from keeping the title out of children’s hands.

“Just me trying to go through this right now makes me almost want to throw up,” he said.

The school board, however, denied a motion to require parental consent for children to access the book and approved another to keep the title on the school library shelves.

“After reviewing this matter, the Board concludes that Push by Sapphire is not ‘obscene’ or ‘harmful to minors’ as the terms are defined in Indiana Code,” a conclusion from the meeting reads. “The decision of the evaluation committee is upheld and the book may remain on the shelves of the Columbus East High School Media Center.” (Read more from “School District Approves Pornographic Book In Class, Bans Requirement For Parental Consent” HERE)

Dem Rep.: Wake Up Americans — This Is a ‘Rapidly Expanding and Accelerating Coup’

Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) claimed Friday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that Elon Musk and President Donald Trump were conducting a “rapidly expanding and accelerating coup.”

Raskin said, “If the courts move with dispatch, they might be able to prevent a lot of damage from being inflicted. But nobody should normalize what’s going on here. We’ve got the wealthiest man in the world who cannot be president because he was born in apartheid South Africa and then made his way to Canada and then to America because he can’t be president, except if he can buy himself a de facto presidency by putting up hundreds of millions of dollars for Donald Trump. You know, TIME Magazine’s got him sitting in the Oval Office on their on the cover at the Resolute Desk, but he’s acting like he is president.”
