Portsmouth Sheriff Bill Watson says he is furious after a group of judges told him to take down an American flag display.
Sheriff Watson said his agency got the American flag display as a gift from members of the Portsmouth Fire Department a few weeks ago.
It’s made of old fire hoses which a sign beneath it that reads, “A Tribute to Public Safety.”
Watson said he requested to have it mounted on the wall in the lobby of the courthouse but was shocked by what he was told.

Now, some residents are complaining about the smoke, and building managers are trying to figure out how to handle the new problem.
Many people in D.C. live in apartments or condos, and the smoke goes through the air vents and under doors. So, whether you want to or not, you may be inhaling.

Swann walked down the hall of her floor with me. “When you get off the elevator right there, you get a contact. When you are walking down this hallway, you get high. You get cigarette smoke. Brooklyn Mom Says Daughter Is Partially Paralyzed Because of Pot Brownie
By Howard Thompson. The push is on to legalize pot. You hear people say things like, “It’s just marijuana, no big deal.”
Don’t say that to Allison Buchanan. What she’s living is enough to terrify any parent. She says her 17-year-old daughter, Danieel, bought what she thought was just a brownie from another student at Benjamin Banneker High School on Feb. 27.
“She ate part of the brownie, shared it with two other students and got sick,” Allison Buchanan told me. “Around 11 a.m. the school called me. They said she had high blood pressure and her heart was racing and they were taking her to the emergency room.”
Danieel’s been in the hospital since then, partially paralyzed. “She’s not able to walk. She can’t stand. She can’t sit up…They have never seen anything like this before.” (Read more from this story HERE)

A student being bullied at a Lincoln Middle School basketball game caught the attention of the basketball players. They walked off the court to come to defend her.
This is where it all happened for Desiree Andrews. As she was being bullied from the stands, a few boys on the team said enough’s enough, and that’s where this bullying situation turned her life around.
Desiree Andrews no longer walks to class alone. Students have been drawn to her after a situation that could have taken away this pretty smile.
“The kids in the audience were picking on Dee, So we all stepped forward,” said Chase Vazquez, Lincoln Middle School basketball player.

Nigerian Islamist militant group Boko Haram is plotting to use cattle as suicide bombers, officials have said.
Nigerian authorities also suspect that the extremist group, which aims at establishing an Islamic caliphate in the country, is preparing dozens of suicide bombers to carry out large-scale attacks.
Mike Omer, coordinator of the National Information Centre, said: “Available intelligence reports indicate a plan by Boko Haram to use young male suicide bombers disguised as cobblers to hide explosives in their tool boxes and detonate them on soft target areas such as markets, restaurants, ATM locations, political rallies, worship centres as well as other public places,” according to Nigeria’s Vanguard daily.
“Also, there is indication of a plan by this group to use livestock such as, goats, cows, donkeys and camels laden with explosives to attack chosen targets.”
The extremist group is on a rampage killing thousands of people in Nigeria and neighbouring countries over the past several years as the armed insurgency has risen sharply in the recent months. Former Navy SEAL Dom Raso isn’t going to let Hillary Clinton get away with the lie she told an audience in order to make herself appear as courageous as the American soldiers who define the word “courage.”
Raso, during an NRA commentator video, exposed Clinton’s blatant untruths about dodging enemy fire while in Bosnia.
“I remember landing under sniper fire, there was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicle to get to our base,” Clinton told an adoring crowd.
“It was moment of great pride for me,” she added.

One reason we sent the letter is we wanted to be crystal clear that Iran’s leaders got the message. That message may not be communicated to their negotiating team in Geneva, the negotiating team may not communicate it back to Ayatollah Khamenei and his senior advisers.
We wanted to be sure that they understood the basic facts of our constitutional system, that the president negotiates deals but the Congress approves them. Planned Parenthood has a long history of putting women at risk by either doing abortions on teen girls who are victims of rape or failing to report the sexual abuse against them to proper authorities in a timely manner.
Now, Planned Parenthood is again putting abortion above the best interests of women by supporting Senate Democrats who are planning to filibuster a bill to provide more justice for victims of sex trafficking because language in the bill prevents funding abortions.
Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, added in a statement, “The Senate should protect victims of human trafficking but should not do so at the expense of women’s access to safe and legal abortion. The majority of human trafficking victims are women and girls, and they need access to the full range of reproductive health care services without barriers.”
Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America blasted the abortion giant for its selling out sex trafficking victims.
“Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, agrees with the Senate Democrats and had the nerve to add in a “but” after saying that the nation needs to protect sex trafficking victims,” she said. “Their blind devotion to abortion is astounding. Ms. Richards and the Senate Democrats obviously have no idea what victims of sex trafficking go through. The President celebrated black victimization at his recent speech in Selma, but around the rest of the country, black people were making the successful transition from victim to predator.
Within a few days of the President’s Selma speech, black mob violence and black on white crime proceeded apace, much of it on video. None of it acknowledged as racial violence in local media.

At Chuck E. Cheese outside of Cleveland, a large group of black people attending a birthday party said they were unhappy that one of the machines was not working. So they attacked the staff, sending five to the hospital with “serious” injuries, including a teenager girl who was knocked unconscious . . .
This is just the latest is a series of recent episodes of black mob violence in Chuck E. Cheese stores around the country, including Long Island, Florida, South Carolina, St. Louis, Dearborn, California, Memphis, Commack, Beaumont, Colorado Springs and other places. Irish couple Toni and Paul McCann were shocked when their 7-week-old baby boy spoke for the first time.
Mrs. McCann was filming her son Cillian when he spoke for the first time. She reported that he had attempted to communicate for some time before finally uttering the word “hello.”
“I’d read that babies communicate from a young age and to give them space to answer when you talk to them,” Mrs. McCann told the News Letter. “That’s what I was doing that day and because he was so alert and making such good eye contact I decided to video him.”

Like lots of little boys, he’s sent out invitations to his birthday party, including to his dad, American Pastor Saeed Abedini.
Tragically, Pastor Saeed remains imprisoned in Iran merely because of his Christian faith.
This week, when one of his family members in Iran was permitted to visit him in prison, Pastor Saeed was able to send a heartfelt, and at the same time heartbreaking, letter to his son . . .
Earlier this year, President Obama told Jacob that he would “try” to bring Pastor Saeed home for his birthday. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened.

Letter to Jacob on his 7th Birthday
To my dear beloved son Jacob,
I saw your beautiful birthday invitation that you had made me and I know how much you want me to be there on your birthday. Daddy loves you so much. I long to be there for your birthday and to make this reunion happen, but my chains are keeping me from you.
I want you to know that although I might NOT BE THERE and you might feel my absence, there is One who always IS. One who is always there with you and who can meet all of your needs under any condition. I might not be there on your birthday and that breaks my heart as your father. But I know the One who is there on your birthday who is there for you and cares for you more than anyone could imagine. HE IS THERE with you and His name is I AM WHO I AM.
I AM WHO I AM. It means that God is there with you in every situation that you are going through. This is the name that God introduced Himself when meeting with Moses in the burning bush when God’s people were crying out to Him and were feeling His absence. Today there are many people around the world who are experiencing the same things that the people of God were experiencing and that you are experiencing. They are crying out to God and might not be feeling His Presence. They are wondering where is God in all of this. But I want you to remember that despite what you feel, He is always there with you.
Even though I AM NOT there with you, I AM is there with you. God came in human flesh in Jesus Christ all the way from heaven to the earth to give us the gift of salvation by being crucified on the cross for the punishment of our sin. So on this special day, I want you to accept this gift of salvation. Invite Jesus into your heart as you have invited me to your birthday.
So happy birthday to my big boy and my hero, Jacob Cyrus Abedini. Thank you for standing strong with me in this battle for the Glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
