Woman Named as Ted Cruz ‘Mistress’ Speaks out With Bombshell Statement – ‘They Know…’

One of the alleged mistresses who the National Enquirer claims Sen. Ted Cruz had an affair with dismissed the charge as “BS.” Further, she does not believe the other four women the tabloid supposedly uncovered had affairs with him either. Two of the five women have already publicly called the allegations false.

The Gateway Pundit obtained an exclusive statement from one of the women. “It’s ridiculous. Anyone with half a brain knows it’s false,” the anonymous woman said. “I don’t think the article is true. I can’t see Cruz being like that… All I know is it’s not me. There’s a reason they don’t use my name. They know it’s BS.”

A National Enquirer teaser used pixelated pictures of five women, but named none of them, though it promised to do so in its print edition. According to the tabloid: “‘Private detectives are digging into at least five affairs Ted Cruz supposedly had,’ claimed a Washington insider.”

Various Twitter users believe they have matched the photos to three of the women, who include former Cruz senate staffer Amanda Carpenter, a former deputy campaign manager with Carly Fiorina’s campaign, and Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson.

After a Trump supporter raised the allegation against Carpenter on CNN (which is not reporting on the story) on Friday, she labeled it “tabloid trash” adding if people want to make such “categorically false” charges, they should speak to her lawyer.

Pierson took to Twitter to shoot down the allegation against her.

Clinton Email Probe Enters New Phase as FBI Interviews Loom

Federal prosecutors investigating the possible mishandling of classified materials on Hillary Clinton’s private email server have begun the process of setting up formal interviews with some of her longtime and closest aides, according to two people familiar with the probe, an indication that the inquiry is moving into its final phases.

Those interviews and the final review of the case, however, could still take many weeks, all but guaranteeing that the investigation will continue to dog Clinton’s presidential campaign through most, if not all, of the remaining presidential primaries.

No dates have been set for questioning the advisors, but a federal prosecutor in recent weeks has called their lawyers to alert them that he would soon be doing so, the sources said. Prosecutors also are expected to seek an interview with Clinton herself, though the timing remains unclear.

The interviews by FBI agents and prosecutors will play a significant role in helping them better understand whether Clinton or her aides knowingly or negligently discussed classified government secrets over a non-secure email system when she served as secretary of State. FBI Says It Has Limited Records on Clinton Email Case

The FBI hasn’t traded any correspondence with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton or her representatives in the course of the law enforcement agency’s “active, ongoing investigation” of the private email account and server she used as secretary of state, an FBI official told a federal court on Friday.

Responding to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit for FBI records about the probe, which is believed to have been underway for about nine months, FBI records official David Hardy said his agency had only a smattering of correspondence with the State Department about the matter and no records at all of authorizations to discuss the Clinton email inquiry with the media or other outside parties.

The suit, filed by Vice News reporter Jason Leopold, also sought copies of all emails and other files the FBI has managed to retrieve from Clinton’s server and backup devices such as thumb drives. The FBI appeared to acknowledge that some such records exist but said releasing them at this time could impair the probe.

“Any records responsive [to that request] still cannot be disclosed without adversely affecting the pending investigation,” Hardy said in a written declaration. The FBI official wrote that he was limited in what he could say publicly about the inquiry, but he added that the agency was submitting a classified declaration to U.S. District Court Judge Randolph Moss with more details about the probe. Trump Won’t Say If He’d Rule out War With China

As part of an extensive interview with The New York Times posted Saturday, the GOP presidential front-runner [Donald Trump] was asked about China’s aggressive island-building in the South China Sea, and what the U.S. response should be . . .

“I would use trade to negotiate,” he added. “Would I go to war? Look, let me just tell you. There’s a question I wouldn’t want to answer. Because I don’t want to say I won’t or I will… That’s the problem with our country.”

“A politician would say, ‘Oh I would never go to war,’ or they’d say, ‘Oh I would go to war.’ I don’t want to say what I’d do because, again, we need unpredictability. You know, if I win, I don’t want to be in a position where I’ve said I would or I wouldn’t. Trump Aide Finally Spills the Beans on Heidi Cruz

“Spilling the beans is quite simple when it comes to Heidi Cruz,” she told Kornacki. “She is a Bush operative. She worked for the architect of NAFTA, which has killed millions of jobs in this country. She was a member on the Council on Foreign Relations, who in Sen. Cruz’s own words, called a nest of snakes that seeks to undermine national sovereignty. And she’s been working for Goldman Sachs, the same global bank that Ted Cruz left off of his financial disclosure.”

Donald Trump, Ted Cruz Battle Over Delegates, Debates — and Families

By David M Jackson. In the wake of personal accusations against each other, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz opened new lines of attack against each other Sunday on delegates and debates.

Trump accused Cruz of trying to steal Republican convention delegates from him, while the Texas senator said the New York businessman is afraid to debate because he knows so little about the issues.

Responding to reports that Cruz may wind up with more delegates in Louisiana even though Trump took more votes in the state, Trump told ABC’s This Week that “it tells you what a crooked system we have and what a rotten political system we have.”

Trump: Contested Convention, Cruz’s Louisiana Win Proves ‘Crooked System’

Talk of a contested convention and that Ted Cruz won the most delegates in Louisiana’s primary while losing the race in votes is proof of “what a crooked system we have and what a rotten political system we have,” front-runner Donald Trump said Sunday.

“I have millions of votes more than ‘Lyin’ Ted,'” Trump told ABC’s Jonathan Karl on the “This Week” program. “Millions. Millions of votes more. I have many, many delegates more. I’ve won areas and he’s trying steal things because that’s the way Ted works, okay?”

Further, said Trump, the Republican tabulation system is broken and unfair.

“I have so many millions of votes more,” he said. “I’ve brought people into the party by the millions. You understand that. They voted by the millions more. It’s one of the biggest stories in all of politics. And what do I have? I have a guy trying to steal people’s delegates. This is supposed to be America. A free America. This is supposed to be a system of votes. Where you go out, you have elections. Free elections. Not elections where I won. I won Louisiana. After Big Promises, House GOP Facing Reality of Not Passing Budget, and Backlash

Few people in Washington think House Republicans this year will complete a budget . . .

Republicans have batted around dozens of ideas. They’ve conducted closed door meetings. Entertained options. And still, House Republicans aren’t much closer to solving the budget riddle than they were when conversations began over the winter.

“The leadership has been on a listening tour for three months,” said Rep. Dave Brat, R-Va. “We have to go back to constituents and say we made up for the crap sandwich. Made up for the barn cleaning.”

What Brat refers to is a plan President Obama forged last fall with then-House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, to “clean the barn” for the next speaker.

Pakistani Park Suicide Bombing That Killed 65 Targeted Christians

At least 65 people were killed and as many as 280 injured in an explosion at a park in the Pakistani city of Lahore, which, according to the BBC, were Christian families out for the Easter weekend. The bomb went off in the early evening when the park was crowded with families.

The Taliban faction Jamaat-ul-Ahrar has claimed responsibility for the attack. “The target were Christians,” a spokesman for the faction said in a statement. “We want to send this message to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that we have entered Lahore. He can do what he wants but he won’t be able to stop us. Our suicide bombers will continue these attacks” . . .

Facebook has apologized for sending out security check notifications to users across the world Sunday after the blast in Pakistan. The feature urges Facebook users to connect with friends and family during disasters to let them know they’re safe. The notification said, “Are you OK? Barack Obama was dismissive of the threat ISIS posed, saying he has a lot on his plate, so can’t he go back to his South American tour, please?

Talking to reporters Wednesday, Obama said the terrorist attacks in Brussels did not demonstrate that the Islamic State posed an “existential threat” to national security.

“I addressed this issue a little bit at the baseball game when I was interviewed by ESPN,” the president explained, “but let me reiterate: Groups like ISIL can’t destroy us. They can’t defeat us,” he said, the Washington Free Beacon is reporting. “They can’t produce anything. They’re not an existential threat to us” . . .

“We see high-profile attacks in Europe, but they’re also killing Muslims throughout the Middle East, people who are innocent … people who are guilty only of worshipping Islam in a different way than this organization.”

Could Trump Turn New York Red?

Donald Trump has made it clear that he thinks he can win New York in a general election match-up against Hillary Clinton, the former senator from the Empire State.

Trump, the billionaire businessman who resides in New York City and has a number of properties dotting the streets of the Big Apple, has repeatedly said he thinks the traditional blue state is very much in play . . .

For better or worse, the Republican front-runner is associated with Gotham. Even Republican rival Ted Cruz (R-TX) has tried to define Trump as a Yankee with “New York values,” while this week labeling him a “New York bully.”

Democrats insist there’s no way the state will go red in 2016.

They say Trump’s outsized presence in New York — which includes his business deals, relationships and branding on buildings like the famed Trump Tower — will not be enough to deliver the liberal state to Republicans. (Read more from “Could Trump Turn New York Red?” HERE)

Glenn Beck: Ted Cruz ‘Anointed for This Time,’ Walks Back Blast of Christians Supporting Trump

Chastened by negative public reaction to his recent comments that “real Christians” don’t support Donald Trump and “all throughout the South the Evangelicals are not listening to their God,” radio talk show host Glenn Beck is walking back his criticism of Christians who support the New York City billionaire and GOP frontrunner.

But now he’s claiming that Sen. Ted Cruz, whom he has endorsed for President, “was anointed for this time.”

On Friday, less than 24 hours after he proclaimed on his television program that “no real Christian says ‘I want that guy’” Donald Trump, Beck issued an apology in an article posted on his website.

“I’d like to apologize for any of the comments that I’ve made that offended anyone’s religious sensibilities or implied that I thought you weren’t good Christians,” Beck wrote in the article that appears to be an edited version from the transcript of his lengthy monologue on his radio program Friday.
