WISN talk radio host Vicki McKenna posted Union Grove High School teacher Beth Urban’s email for a five-paragraph essay on Twitter.

It reads:

–Pretend you are:

1. Muslim male/female in U.S.

2. Give 3 examples of what you do daily for your religion and any struggles you face.

3. Again, 5 paragraphs (intro, 3 body paragraphs, closing.)

**Keep in mind we’ve been doing work and watching documentaries that have the facts needed to write the essay.

Scientists Find Key to ‘Turbo-Charging’ Immune System to Kill All Cancers

cancer1_2130923bA protein which ‘turbo-charges’ the immune system so that it can fight off any cancer or virus has been discovered by scientists.

In a breakthrough described as a ‘game-changer’ for cancer treatment, researchers at Imperial College found a previously unknown molecule which boosts the body’s ability to fight off chronic illnesses.

Scientists at Imperial College London, who led the study, are now developing a gene therapy based on the protein and hope to begin human trials in three years.

“This is exciting because we have found a completely different way to use the immune system to fight cancer,” said Professor Philip Ashton-Rickardt, from the Section of Immunobiology in the Department of Medicine at Imperial, who led the study.

Earlier this week, our managing editor Steve Jalsevac published a slideshow with his photos from the 2011 Toronto Gay Pride Parade. Many of the photos were shocking. But one commenter pointed out a detail in one photo that many people probably missed.

The photo says it all: Naked men marching in Toronto’s Pride parade, showcasing what supporters cheer on as the advancement of “gay rights” and “sexual liberation.” The naked men march past men, women, and yes even children. Everyone is encouraged to celebrate “diversity.”

Unconventional Warfare Exercise in the Hill Country [+video]

militaryThe military says Real County deep in the heart of the Hill Country is the perfect place for a new training operation called Jade Helm.

“Jade Helm is a challenging, eight week military and interagency unconventional warfare exercise,” said an Army representative to a packed Real County Courthouse.

What Army representatives say “unconventional warfare exercises” means in regards to Jade Helm is special forces blending in to small towns and better communicating with locals.

Hypothetically, according to the military, Texas, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada and Colorado have been “taken over” by an enemy. Elite forces then infiltrate those states and learn how to better relate and communicate with – again, fictitious – rebels who are fighting against the occupiers. That’s the basis of Jade Helm.

UPDATE: Senator Harry Reid Beat Up by the Mob?

Harry Reid Black EyeBy Eddie Scarry. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, who recently announced plans to retire, rebutted conservative media speculation on Wednesday that his severe injuries are the result of a run-in with the mob.

On CNBC’s “Speakeasy,” host John Harwood asked Reid about theories put forth by conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh and Breitbart News that the injuries Reid sustained at the beginning of this year, including a blow to his right eye, are not, as he has said, the result of an accident involving elastic exercise equipment. . .


Doubts within conservative media over Reid’s version of events — that he was smacked in the face by an elastic exercise band that broke, causing him to fall down — date back to almost immediately after the New Year’s Day incident. John Hinderaker of the conservative Power Line blog speculated on Jan. 6 that Reid “looks like he has been in a fight, and not with an elastic band”. . .

In Late March, Limbaugh said, “I don’t believe for a minute that whatever happened to Harry Reid has anything to do with an exercise machine unless somebody repeatedly threw him into it.”

A day after Limbaugh’s commentary, the right-leaning Breitbart News website wrote a lengthy story analyzing the floor plan of Reid’s Nevada home. “A Breitbart News investigation of Reid’s home exercise accident has uncovered facts that appear to discredit Reid’s version of the home exercise accident for three very specific reasons,” the story said. Sen. Harry Reid “Sightless” in Right Eye as Result of Alleged Elastic Band Accident

Harry Reid EyeBy Seung Min Kim. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said he’s now “sightless” in his right eye following a brutal exercise injury in January, in comments released Tuesday.
In an interview with Univision, Reid said he has undergone 11 hours of surgery to repair the eye, but he’s still unable to see out of it until “something comes along that’ll change it.” He’s having trouble with depth perception, particularly when he uses the stairs, Reid said.

Rush Limbaugh Says He Might Know Who Beat Up “Dingy Harry”

larry-beat-harryBy Rush Limbaugh. kay, so I’m the guy responsible for the story that Dingy Harry got beat up by the mob in his bathroom. Now, I did offer here that I don’t think the nature of his injuries was such that this wasn’t a run-in with an exercise machine or the elastic band, whatever the story was. I did raise the specter that it did appear to me that Dingy Harry got beat up. I don’t know by who, although I might now. Bottom line is, I might now know who did it. And I wasn’t even gonna bring this up. . .

So after the program one day a couple of weeks ago I got on the phone with John Hinderaker and this caller from Las Vegas who claimed to know what happened to Dingy Harry Reid. Hinderaker wrote the story up and published it on Power Line. I don’t know what the date was because I didn’t print. But it’s just a couple, three weeks ago. And here’s the upshot of it. . .

Elliott, the caller, who wanted to speak to Hinderaker and me, “Elliott spent a portion of last New Year’s Eve at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Henderson, Nevada,” which, for all intents and purposes, is Vegas. “His AA group has meetings every hour on New Year’s Eve, along with a pot luck supper. There were approximately 20 people present at the meeting during the events,” that you will next hear about.

“Some time between 10:00 and 11:30 p.m., a man entered the meeting. His appearance was striking: there was blood on his clothing, beginning around his midsection. His left hand was swollen. He appeared to be somewhat intoxicated and was visibly agitated,” and he wanted to share, at this AA meeting.

“He introduced himself as ‘Larry.’ In a group discussion that was heard by a number of people, Larry said that he had just had a fight with a family member. Larry said he had been at a family get-together, and he didn’t remember much about the fight because he had blacked out. When he came to, he was rolling on the ground, fighting with a family member, and his clothes were bloody,” and in fact that’s how he showed up at the AA meeting. “Now, he said, he was frightened that the Secret Service would come after him.” (Read more from this story HERE)

Las Vegas Man Admits Concocting Story About Harry Reid’s Eye

By Nick Gass. No, Harry Reid was not beaten up by his brother, says the man who concocted the false rumor to explain the Senate minority leader’s injuries after an exercise accident several months ago.

Larry Pfeifer told the Las Vegas Sun that he made up the story after being appalled that conservative blogger John Hinderaker published a rumor that Reid’s injuries occurred as a result of a Mafia enforcer roughing him up.

“It was just so outrageous,” Pfeifer told the Sun. “The fact that someone can say something completely false that can destroy somebody’s life, it’s just wrong. Where’s the moral compass?”

Pfeifer said he fabricated the story that Reid’s brother Larry showed up drunk to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting on New Year’s Eve and claimed he had beaten up a relative.

Pfeifer, whom the Sun describes as a former consultant in the nightclub and entertainment industry, said he thought the episode “would be over in a day and a half.” (Read more from this story HERE)

Gay Mafia Flouts Own PC folly [+video]

In 2015 America, a remnant of faithful Christian pastors, not imams, are being targeted by gay activists. No Christian pastor I know has ever proclaimed or financially supported the beheading of anyone, let alone gays.

The “Gay mafia,” as Bill Maher calls them, are like fools flouting their own folly. They impose standards (that they don’t follow) solely on Christians through discriminatory legal measures — but completely ignore imams who advocate their death.

No gays are protesting, subpoenaing or demanding that Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) be arrested, tried, or deported.

He asserts:

“Homosexuality is a moral disorder. It is a moral disease, a sin and corruption … No person is born homosexual, just like no one is born a thief, a liar or murderer. People acquire these evil habits due to a lack of proper guidance and education.

“There are many reasons why it is forbidden in Islam. Homosexuality is dangerous for the health of the individuals and for the society. It is a main cause of one of the most harmful and fatal diseases … It is the most un-natural way of life. Homosexuality leads to the destruction of family life.”

Gay activists aren’t protesting ISNA, an organization directly linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, and lauded by former President Jimmy Carter.

Muslims who follow the Koran understand its words as literal, from Allah. The Koran states that those who act on same-sex attraction and behavior make a “god (ilah) of there own lusts,” reject Allah’s will, and practice “wickedness” (Koran 26.165-166; 27.055; 29.028-29).

There is no such thing as a gay Muslim. Nor is there any public acceptance for the gay lifestyle in any Muslim majority country — or in any Muslim neighborhood or no-go zone in a Muslim minority country.

According to sharia law, the sodomizer and the sodomized both deserve death. Likewise, the rules and punishment for zina (adultery) are applied to lesbians — death for married, lashes for unmarried.

It is common knowledge throughout the Muslim world that no one can be gay and follow Allah. It is also widely acknowledged that the “people of the book,” Jews and Christians — whose laws actually seek to safeguard human rights — must be killed.

Yet, no gays are protesting, subpoenaing, or asserting the arrest, for example of Imam Abu Ammaar Yasir Qadhi of Memphis, Tennessee, who publicly asserts: “Jews and Christians are filthy, their lives and property can be taken in jihad by the Muslims.”

Anyone who believes they are immune from the outworking of Islamic ideology does not understand it. Mr. Qadhi asserts, according to the Koran, everyone — not only in America — but worldwide, “must bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah” and because of this “principle of monotheism … the prophet has been commanded to do jihad.”

Likewise, Brooklyn, New York, Imam Tareq Yousef Al-Masri recently declared at the Oulel-Albab mosque, “We, the Muslims … the Muslims of the religious sector are time bombs.”

These imams are not alone.

According to the Mapping Sharia Project, 51 percent of mosques in America had “texts that either advocated the use of violence in the pursuit of a Shari’a-based political order or advocated violent jihad; another 30 percent had texts that were moderately supportive of violence.” Distribution of anti-Western literature, videos and textbooks is documented, as are the Islamic centers that operate as front groups for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Imam advocacy for extermination of non-Muslims has existed in America for decades, yet these imams have not been deported, let alone investigated by the IRS or any other government organization for their alleged constitutional violations.

In 1999, Naqshbandi Sufi Sheikh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani testified to the U.S. State Department that 80 percent of mosques in America had “extremist leaders.” In 2006, Freedom House’s Center for Religious Freedom exposed widespread dissemination of hate ideology in literature and sermons by mosques nationwide. And in 2007, during the Holy Land Foundation trial, perhaps one of the most important documents discovered — the Muslim Brotherhood’s manifesto — revealed its “General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America” to destroy it from within.

Gays’ civil rights, human rights, or even lives for that matter, are irrelevant to imams. If gays want to live, they should consider redirecting their vitriol toward imams who preach their death, and toward a silent — yet active — political and legal system perpetuating and enabling treasonous hate speech to their detriment. Boston Marathon Bomber Relatives Break Silence, Claim Conspiracies, Efforts to Fire Compromised Defense Attorney

Throughout the trial of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the 21-year-old who was convicted last week of bombing the Boston Marathon in 2013, his family resisted the urge to speak out publicly in his defense. Tsarnaev’s defense team had advised them not to grant interviews, they say, as it could risk his chances at trial. But when the jury issued its guilty verdict on April 8, convicting him on 17 counts that could each carry the death penalty, some of his relatives decided to go public with their outrage. . .

In one of her first arguments before the jury after entering a not-guilty plea, [Tsarnaev’s defense attorney] said that her client is indeed responsible for the “senseless, horrific, misguided acts.” But in committing these crimes, she argued that he was acting under the direction of his older brother Tamerlan, who was killed in a shootout with authorities soon after the bombing.

This line of defense has outraged many of Tsarnaev’s relatives, who have tried to convince him to dismiss Clarke and ask for a lawyer who will argue his innocence. “Why do we even need defense attorneys if they just tell the jury he is guilty?” his aunt asks. “What’s the point?” . . .

Like many observers of the case in Russia, the Tsarnaev family has claimed — without providing any meaningful evidence — that the bombing was part of a U.S. government conspiracy intended to test the American public’s reaction to a terrorist threat and the imposition of martial law in a U.S. city. “This was all fabricated by the American special services,” Said-Hussein Tsarnaev, the convicted bomber’s uncle, tells TIME. A panel of 12 jurors in Boston reached the verdict after weeks of testimony from some 90 witnesses and 11 hours of deliberations spread over two days. . . Ron Paul: Watch out, Dollar’s in a ‘Huge Bubble’

RONDespite rising stock prices and a falling unemployment rate, the United States is on the brink of a catastrophic “financial crisis,” according to former U.S. presidential candidate Ron Paul. And the culprit could be the dollar.

“There’s a huge bubble with the dollar,” Paul said on Tuesday’s “Futures Now.” The Dollar index, which measures the dollar against a basket of other major currencies, is near 12-year highs as the Fed has retreated from its stimulative programs at just the same time that other central banks have introduced their easing measures. But rather than take the rally as a sign that investors see strength in the U.S. economy, the outspoken former congressman sees the dollar’s massive move higher as simply a byproduct of a world awash in easy money.

“It’s not so much that the dollar is a great currency. It’s the fact that nothing else is any better, said Paul. “The fundamentals are a disaster. The economy is in bad shape when you have more than half the people hardly making ends meet.”

Paul declined to offer a catalyst or even a timeframe for when the dollar “bubble” could pop, but did warn that it does happen, it will be quick and unexpected. “Most of the time, these things are unforeseen,” he said. “Did anybody warn us about 2007, 2008 in Lehman Brothers? Nobody warned us about that.”

According to Paul, the collapse of the dollar, and by extension, the stock market will likely come when the Fed begins to raise interest rates, something many expect it will do later this year. In his view, the Fed’s policies, and not real economic growth, have been the real reasons the dollar and U.S. equities have rallied. And the absence of those policies could lead to disaster. Report: Electronic Voting Machines Receive “F-Minus” in Security

Touchscreen voting machines used in numerous elections between 2002 and 2014 used “abcde” and “admin” as passwords and could easily have been hacked from the parking lot outside the polling place, according to a state report.

The AVS WinVote machines, used in three presidential elections in Virginia, “would get an F-minus” in security, according to a computer scientist at tech research group SRI International who had pushed for a formal inquiry by the state of Virginia for close to a decade.

In a damning study published Tuesday, the Virginia Information Technology Agency and outside contractor Pro V&V found numerous flaws in the system, which had also been used in Mississippi and Pennsylvania.

Jeremy Epstein, of the Menlo Park, California, nonprofit SRI International, served on a Virginia state legislative commission investigating the voting machines in 2008. He has been trying to get them decertified ever since.

Anyone within a half mile could have modified every vote, undetected, Epstein said in a blog post. “I got to question a guy by the name of Brit Williams, who’d certified them, and I said, ‘How did you do a penetration test?’” Epstein told the Guardian, “and he said, ‘I don’t know how to do something like that’.” (Read more from “Electronic Voting Machines Flunk Security” HERE)

Scientists: World Must Prepare for Catastrophic Volcanic Eruption

The world is woefully unprepared for a massive volcanic eruption that could kill millions of people and destroy much of modern society, a leading group of scientists have warned.

In a new report on the risks posed by natural disasters, experts at the European Science Foundation concluded that large volcanic eruptions posed the greatest risk human survival.

They calculated that there is between a five to 10 per cent probability of an explosive eruption large enough to cause huge numbers of deaths, alter the climate and poison the atmosphere occurring by the end of the century.

Such an eruption would be of a similar size to the explosion of Tambora on Sumbawa, Indonesia in 1815, which killed around 100,000 people at the time.

The ash cloud thrown out from this eruption reached more than 26 miles (43km) into the atmosphere and triggered temperature changes that led to widespread famine and epidemics.

The summer following the Tambora eruption is known as ‘the year without summer’.

The scientists warn, however, that rising population levels and increasing reliance on global travel could mean the impacts of a similar eruption could be far more severe. (Read more from this story about the potential for a catastrophic volcanic eruption HERE)
