Civil Rights Marchers Outraged Over Obama Comparing Homosexuals to the Black Community’s Struggles

The president of a black pastors coalition has expressed his anger that President Barack Obama compared the civil rights movement to that for same-sex marriage at the 50th anniversary of the “Bloody Sunday” march, when black American citizens were beaten while demanding voting rights they were being denied.

“Ask your gay friend if it’s easier to be out and proud in America now than it was 30 years ago,” Obama said in Selma, Alabama, on Saturday, as he characterized the movement for same-sex marriage as another civil rights struggle.

“I marched with many people back in those days and I have reached out to some of my friends who marched with me, and all of them are shocked,” Rev. William Owens of the Coalition of African American Pastors (CAAP) told Breitbart News. “They never thought they would see this day that gay rights would be equated with civil rights. Not one agreed with this comparison.”

In February of 2014, CAAP issued a press release in which it announced a campaign to call for the impeachment of Attorney General Eric Holder on the basis that he has violated his oath of office by “attempting to impose same-sex ‘marriage’ throughout the nation.”

“President Obama is a disgrace to the black community,” Owens said. “He is rewriting history. We didn’t suffer and die for gay marriage. We marched for opportunity, equality, justice, freedom from oppression. We are the true heirs of the civil rights movement. Controversy Over American Flag Mural at Elementary School Continues

Photo Credit: mrsdkrebsThe controversy over an American flag painted on a wall at Reyes Elementary School is not over, even though it’s been painted over.

The Canutillo Independent School District [CISD] Board of Trustees will discuss what steps to take next after being denied the mural by the school’s developer, Cimarron Hunt Communities [Hunt].

Hunt offererd $10,000 to CISD for a flag pole but the offer was rejected by the board of trustees.

“We’re kind of waiting to see what direction the board wants to take but at the same time we are encouraged that conversations continue so that we can do what’s best for veterans, for our students, and for the community at large,” said Shane Griffith, spokesperson for CISD.

In a letter, Hunt explained why they wanted the flag painted over. The red white and blue does not fit the homeowners associations color scheme, and the mural could possibly violate rules regarding how U.S. flag should be handled and displayed. Canadian Man Facing Jail Time for Not Giving up Cell Phone; Feds can do the Same Thing at U.S. Borders

Canadian man Alain Philippon . . . flew into Halifax Stanfield International Airport last week, returning to his home country from the Dominican Republic, and border agents demanded that he enter the password to unlock his phone so they could search it, the CBC reported. . .

Philippon refused, saying the information on his phone was “personal.”

. . .In the U.S., the Fifth Amendment protects individuals from self-incrimination and as the Electronic Frontier Foundation notes, law enforcement generally needs a warrant to compel the unlocking of a phone or computer because providing the password is considered self-incriminating testimony by most courts.

However, as CNET noted, even though the Supreme Court has ruled that cops need a warrant to get a phone password, U.S. border agents don’t need a warrant or even individualized suspicion to conduct a “forensic” search of your phone or computer. . .

Obama Admin. Backs Down, Yanks Proposal to Ban Green Tip AR15 Ammo

After an unprecedented response, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms has temporarily pulled its proposal to ban common AR-15 M855 “green tip” ammunition . . .

“Although ATF endeavored to create a proposal that reflected a good faith interpretation of the law and balanced the interests of law enforcement, industry, and sportsmen, the vast majority of the comments received to date are critical of the framework, and include issues that deserve further study,” an ATF press release states. Accordingly, ATF will not at this time seek to issue a final framework. After the close of the comment period, ATF will process the comments received, further evaluate the issues raised therein, and provide additional open and transparent process (for example, through additional proposals and opportunities for comment) before proceeding with any framework.”

Members on both sides of the aisle in Congress have also been highly critical of the proposal, along with the National Rifle Association and the National Shooting Sports Foundation. The Bureau received extra scrutiny last week when it was discovered the new ATF 2014 Regulation Guidebook did not include an exemption for AR-15 “green tip” ammunition as “armor piercing.” ATF has said the Regulation Guidebook will be updated to include the exemption.

ISIS Video Appears to Show Another Child Soldier Executing ‘Israeli Spy’

The Islamic State group released a video Tuesday that purports to show the killing of a Palestinian man accused of being a spy for Israeli intelligence.

In the 13-minute video posted online, a militant and a boy dressed in camouflage stand behind a man in an orange jumpsuit kneeling on the ground.

The fighter makes a brief statement in French accusing the man of working for the Mossad before the boy steps forward and shoots the captive, identified as Mohamed Said Ismail Musalam, in the head.

The Associated Press could not independently verify video, but it was released by the IS group’s Furqan media arm and corresponds to previous IS videos.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry declined comment. Israel’s Shin Bet internal security agency said that it announced earlier this year that Musalam had left for Turkey to fight with IS. (Read more from “ISIS Video Appears to Show Child Soldier Executing ‘Israeli Spy'” HERE)

Teenage Girl Vaccinated for STD Without Mother’s Consent [+video]

A Chicago mother signed a consent form for her daughter to get a sports physical at school. Imagine her shock when her-16-year-old called to say she’d also been given four immunizations, including one for the sexually transmitted virus HPV.

Now, that mother wants answers. CBS 2’s Dana Kozlov reports.

Michelle Miller signed the consent forms without a second thought. She says she believed she’d given Norwegian-American Hospital — and Chicago Public Schools — permission to give her daughter a physical for the upcoming track season at Wells High School.

Her daughter got way more than that.

She had been given shots for chicken pox, Hepatitis A, meningitis and the HPV vaccine. All but the chicken pox vaccine, Miller says, were given by a nurse without her consent and to her daughter Noel’s surprise. (Read more from “Teenage Girl Vaccinated for STD Without Mother’s Consent ” HERE)

Watch: Furious Cat Swipes Owner After She Uses This Translation App

If you like the idea of having a conversation with your pet cat then you better look away now.

Flam, a cat in Nashville, Tennessee, may well be the first of its kind to have had a conversation with a human being.

But sadly, as documented on video, the little chat didn’t go down that well with the feline.

In the clip is Penny Adams, a professional photographer who volunteers her time at the Cat Shoppe Rescue centre.

Bombshell Report: Boehner Cut Deal with Nancy Pelosi to Use Netanyahu Speech as Cover to Fund Obama’s Executive Amnesty

A new bombshell report from Politico found that House Speaker John Boehner had several days of secret negotiations with Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the recently emboldened former Speaker, leading up to his decision to flip-flop and fund President Obama’s executive amnesty—including a pre-hashed out deal to use the hoopla around Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Tuesday address to Congress over Iran’s nuclear ambitions as political cover to sneak in the extraordinarily controversial vote. Even with the bombshell report, however, Boehner’s office continues to deny any deal took place.

“It was Monday at 5:30 p.m. when Pelosi and Boehner agreed that it was ‘best to take up the matter on Tuesday immediately after Netanyahu’s address in order to deal with the matter as quickly as possible upon return of the Senate papers,’ according to an aide familiar with the conversations,” Politico’s Lauren French wrote on Thursday evening.

That part of a supposed deal between Pelosi and Boehner came after what French reported were several days of negotiating and dealmaking between the current and former Speaker. French wrote:

Since Friday, Pelosi and Boehner have held quiet rounds of negotiations and maneuvering to push the measure through the House over the objections of a cadre of conservatives in Boehner’s conference who scuttled a three-week funding bill in a dramatic showdown last week. As late as Tuesday, Boehner tapped Democrats to help pass a procedural rule for a funding bill for Amtrak that Republicans were threatening to bring down if it did not include a provision that would stop a clean DHS bill from moving forward. But Pelosi pledged Democratic support to move forward — a departure from normal where the minority party always votes against rules brought by the party controlling the floor.

Dems Vow to Protect Boehner from Conservative Coup

By Mike Lillis. Tea Party Republicans contemplating a bid to oust Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) shouldn’t count on Democrats to help them unseat the Speaker.

And without their support, there is no chance to topple Boehner in this Congress.


A number of right-wing Republicans, long wary of Boehner’s commitment to GOP efforts attacking President Obama’s policy priorities, have openly considered a coup in an attempt to transfer the gavel into more conservative hands.

But Democrats from across an ideological spectrum say they’d rather see Boehner remain atop the House than replace him with a more conservative Speaker who would almost certainly be less willing to reach across the aisle in search of compromise. Replacing him with a Tea Party Speaker, they say, would only bring the legislative process — already limping along — to a screeching halt.

“I’d probably vote for Boehner [because] who the hell is going to replace him? [Ted] Yoho?” Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) said Wednesday, referencing the Florida Tea Party Republican who’s fought Boehner on a host of bipartisan compromise bills. (Read more from this story HERE)

Unbelievable Anti-American Text Used in Alaska School [+video]

A student from an Alaska high school called into The Joe Miller show and reported that he was utterly disgusted with the anti-American themes in his history class. Not only was his instructor apparently pro-Islamic, but he was also very outspoken about how bad America is, and has been.

“Joe” said that as part of his course reading for his history class, he was provided with a photocopied reading assignment. And then he gave it to The Joe Miller Show.

The Alaska high school class reading made the following outrageous assertions:

1. That American racism during World War II was a moral equivalency to the Nazi’s persecution of the Jews:

2. That World War II was fought to enrich American financial elites, not to defeat the spread of fascism:

3. That America’s aggressive military action was indefensible and resulted in unjustified killings of civilians:

And this was not all of the anti-American text in “Joe’s” reading.

Parents must engage forcefully in their children’s educations. If they don’t, we will continue to lose more and more of our children to the leftist ideology that is permeating our public institutions. And within a generation or two, it will be too late.

Obama Lies Again: Says He Learned of Hillary’s Private Email from News Reports but Personally Emailed [email protected] [+video]

By Jim Hoft. On Saturday night, President Obama told CBS’s Bill Plante that he first learned about Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email address “through news reports,” the implication being that he didn’t personally email with his Secretary of State . . .

At today’s White House briefing Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Obama did in fact email with [email protected] and had to be aware of Clinton’s private email account, making his Saturday night comments misleading at best.

Hillary Clinton’s Long History of Targeting Women

By Brent Scher. Hillary Clinton’s expected presidential campaign is being built around women’s issues, but women who have gotten in the way of her family’s political goals in the past have often been subjected to her wrath.

As Clinton has appeared at multiple events for women over the past several weeks, her record as an advocate for women has come under increased scrutiny.


Women who have accused her husband, former President Bill Clinton, of sexual misconduct have come in for special criticism from the former first lady.

One victim of Clinton’s wrath was Monica Lewinsky, whom Clinton called a “narcissistic loony toon” in private conversations with close friend Diane Blair.

Lewinsky was not the only woman who had a sexual relationship with Bill targeted by Hillary: she called Gennifer Flowers “trailer trash.” (Read more from this story HERE)
