Biden Quietly Commuted Sentences of Chinese Spies

President Joe Biden announced on Thursday that he was granting 39 pardons and 1,499 commutations in what his administation called the “largest single-day grant of clemency in modern history.” But it’s not Thursday’s set of commutations that have caught the attention of concerned Americans — it’s those that were quietly given weeks ago to Chinese spies.

X user Nick Sortor posted that “Joe Biden just pardoned multiple Chinese spies and an individual convicted of possessing child p*rnography. WHY?”

But the thing is, Biden didn’t “just” commute the sentences for these criminals — he did it quietly only days before Thanksgiving.

While most Americans were finalizing their menus and getting into the holiday spirit, Biden commuted the sentence of Yanjun Xu on November 22. Xu was convicted in 2022 for “conspiracy to commit economic espionage; conspiracy to commit trade secret theft; attempted economic espionage by theft or fraud; attempted theft of trade secrets by taking or deception.”

But according to Biden’s pardon, “it is in the national interest that the term of imprisonment related to the aforesaid conviction not be served in its entirety.” (Read more from “Biden Quietly Commuted Sentences of Chinese Spies” HERE)

‘Shoot Them Down!!!’ Trump Demands Action on Mystery Drones

President-elect Donald Trump joined the conversation on the ongoing sightings of mysterious unidentified drones and called for the government to “shoot them down.”

In a post on Truth Social, Trump questioned if the drone sightings could be “happening without” the government’s knowledge and added that the government should provide the public with answers.

“Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country,” Trump wrote in his post. “Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!! DJT.”

Trump’s post comes as people have reportedly seen unidentified drones in the sky in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Maryland, among other states.

Lawmakers such as New Jersey state Sen. Jon Bramnick (R), Rep. Thomas Kean Jr. (R-NJ), and former Gov. Larry Hogan (R-MD) have called for the government to take action on the alleged drone sightings.

DC Restaurant Workers Refuse to Serve Trump Officials, Or Will at Least Make Their Dining Experience Hell

In a striking demonstration of defiance, restaurant workers in Washington, D.C., refuse service to officials associated with President-elect Donald Trump. This move raises concerns about unsettling experiences reflecting the hostility conservatives often face. It demonstrates an entitlement people have been given by the left to refuse decency just because they don’t like the party affiliation.

The Washingtonian spoke to several service workers in the city who pledged to refuse service to Trump officials or at least make their dining experience awful.

“You expect the masses to just ignore RFK eating at Le Diplomate on a Sunday morning after a few mimosas and not to throw a drink in his face?” Zac Hoffman, a D.C. restaurant worker, said.

Another claimed that a Trump official “has the power to take your rights away” but pointed out that he has the right to make them wait “20 minutes to get your entree.”

This attitude has undermined the foundation of American society for years. In 2018, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his wife were dining at an Italian restaurant in Washington when protestors bombarded them over his support for then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh during his contentious confirmation hearings. The couple was forced to leave the restaurant. (Read more from “DC Restaurant Workers Refuse to Serve Trump Officials, Or Will at Least Make Their Dining Experience Hell” HERE)

Court Rejects TikTok’s Bid to Control Americans and Be Controlled by the CCP

TikTok suffered a major legal setback as a federal court rejected the company’s petition to overturn the law that requires TikTok either to find an American owner or face a ban in the United States as early as January 19, 2025. If the ban is enforced, it could significantly impact the popular made-in-China app’s millions of users in the United States, as well as the company’s global operations.

Since 2020, TikTok (which is owned by ByteDance, a Beijing-based internet technology company) has been embroiled in a legal battle in the U.S., coinciding with the app’s explosive popularity. The app, which became a source of entertainment for bored young people under Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns, is now under scrutiny. As its user base has grown, so have the app’s problems. TikTok’s data collection practices, which include acquiring IP addresses, browsing history, and biometric information, have raised serious privacy and data security concerns.

A Wall Street Journal analysis found that TikTok’s robust algorithm is a major reason why young people are addicted to smartphones. The app often pushes young users “deep into harmful rabbit holes of content” that “glorif[ies] eating disorders, drugs, violence” and makes it difficult for users to escape. Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts said TikTok and social media platforms “are specifically designed to create the digital dependencies that fuel mental illness and anxiety, to fray children’s bonds with their parents and siblings. Federal policy cannot allow this industrial-scale child abuse to continue.”

TikTok is also known to serve as Communist China’s propaganda tool by extending Beijing’s censorship to non-Chinese citizens overseas. The app reportedly instructs its content moderators to “censor videos that mention Tiananmen Square, Tibetan independence, or the banned religious group Falun Gong,” all sensitive subjects that the Chinese government has censored for decades. Luigi Mangione’s Mom Spoke With the FBI the Night Before Accused CEO Killer Was Arrested: Sources

The FBI spoke to Luigi Mangione’s mother the night before her son’s high-profile arrest and told the feds he bore a resemblance to the suspect wanted for killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, according to law enforcement sources.

Members of the Joint Violent Crimes Task Force questioned Kathleen Mangione late Sunday night after receiving a tip from San Francisco police – four days prior – about a missing person’s report the family had filed with the department in November, the sources said.

Police tipped off the feds after they recognized the 26-year-old’s face in surveillance images put out by the NYPD after Thompson, 50, was gunned down last week – but his mother wasn’t completely confident that was actually her son in the images.

His mom reported him missing to San Francisco police on Nov. 18. She noted that she hadn’t spoken to her son since July 1 and was unaware of his whereabouts, according to the report.

The alleged assassin had reportedly vanished for several months after fleeing the US to “zen out” on a solo Asia trip before abruptly returning to allegedly kill Thompson. (Read more from “Luigi Mangione’s Mom Spoke With the FBI the Night Before Accused CEO Killer Was Arrested: Sources” HERE)

Reports: Pelosi’s Injuries in Luxembourg Are Quite Serious

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is recovering at a hospital in Luxembourg. When it was first reported, the California liberal was reported to have suffered an undisclosed injury while on a congressional delegation. Katie wrote about the incident, adding that the injuries were severe enough that Pelosi would miss the rest of the trip’s events:

“While traveling with a bipartisan Congressional delegation in Luxembourg to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi sustained an injury during an official engagement and was admitted to the hospital for evaluation,” a spokesperson for Pelosi released in a statement about her condition.

“Speaker Emerita Pelosi is currently receiving excellent treatment from doctors and medical professionals. She continues to work and regrets that she is unable to attend the remainder of the CODEL engagements to honor the courage of our servicemembers during one of the greatest acts of American heroism in our nation’s history. Speaker Emerita Pelosi conveys her thanks and praise to our veterans and gratitude to people of Luxembourg and Bastogne for their service in World War II and their role in bringing peace to Europe,” the statement continues.

Bombshell: The FBI Spied on Kash Patel

When Kash Patel was interviewing FBI officials about their overreach in the issuing of illegal spy warrants on Trump campaign officials, namely Carter Page, little did he know the bureau was also spying on him. The Justice Department Inspector General has a 100-page report detailing how the FBI collected his personal information while gagging Google and Apple from notifying Mr. Patel and anyone on their target list.

In 2022, Google was permitted to notify Patel, who was outraged. His record collection at the bureau spanned years. Since 2017, he was the subject of a counterintelligence operation while investigating the bureau’s operations into Mr. Page. The FBI kept renewing the information orders and a subpoena for over five years. As Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations, who penned this piece in the New York Post, noted, that means FBI Director Christopher Wray knew about this spy operation and signed off on its continued use. It’s yet another reason why he’s bolting from the J. Edgar Hoover Building in January (via NY Post):

According to a new government watchdog report, the FBI spied on its prospective new boss, Kash Patel.

Patel has promised to “clean house” at the Hoover Building, and hold all those who “abused their power” during the Russiagate “witch hunt” accountable.

[…]

According to a nearly 100-page report by the Justice Department’s inspector general, the FBI subpoenaed the records as part of an investigation it opened to find out whether congressional staffers leaked classified information about its Trump-Russia “collusion” case to the Washington Post and other media.

Report: Amazon Donating $1 Million to Trump Inauguration

Big Tech, which largely has taken extreme anti-Trump positions in recent years, suddenly is reversing itself.

Already, Meta has agreed to donate $1 million to the inauguration plans for President-elect Trump. Now Amazon is making the same move.

A report from the Wall Street Journal described the move by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos as working to “shore up ties” with Trump.

A report at the Right Scoop said, “Wow. They are lining up to smooth relations with President Trump ahead of his four year term. Next thing you know Bezos will be flying to Mar-a-lago to kiss the ring in person.” . . .

The Daily Caller News Foundation explained that donation comes “amid a thaw in relations between Trump and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, with Zuckerberg paying a visit to Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago club in Florida two weeks ago, according to the WSJ.” (Read more from “Report: Amazon Donating $1 Million to Trump Inauguration” HERE)

Biden Admin Says It Doesn’t Have Authority to Shoot Down Mysterious Drones

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Friday said the government doesn’t have the authority to shoot down drones and believes reports of some sightings are cases of mistaken identity.

Mayorkas appeared on CNN when he was asked about why the federal government doesn’t take down one of the many drones that have been spotted across multiple states in recent weeks.

“Our authorities are very limited,” Mayorkas told CNN host Wolf Blitzer, citing missions involving unmanned aircraft conducted by various federal agencies. “We have various authorities that are discreet to their particular missions. We can’t just shoot a drone out of the sky.”

Mayorkas said officials believe reported drone sightings are “cases of mistaken identity” where drones are actually small aircraft “where people are misidentifying them,” noting that some can be purchased at “convenience stores.”

“We know of no threat or nefarious activity,” he said. (Read more from “Biden Admin Says It Doesn’t Have Authority to Shoot Down Mysterious Drones” HERE)
