Video shows a mob descending on an intersection in Orange County, Florida, causing a frightening scene the night of November 30.

The group of approximately 30 individuals took over the intersection at South John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway then set fires and performed dangerous stunts with their vehicles, Fox 35 reported Friday.

“And seeing the video, that video is nuts,” one driver told WFTV. “If you look on TikTok, that’s all you see. Donuts, street racing, and they’re idiots because they’re getting hit by their own cars. They have no, apparently no care of what it costs”:

“The situation escalated as participants harassed innocent drivers, blocked them from passing, and in some cases, climbed on and damaged vehicles,” the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post Thursday.

U.S. Senators Call Out Bureau of Prisons for Religious Discrimination

U.S. senators in Washington, on a bipartisan basis, are calling out the federal Bureau of Prisons for what apparently is discrimination against Christians and Christianity.

A report from CBN News explains they are “pushing for answers on practices happening under the First Step Act.”

Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., and Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., said the problem is that prison officials are “not allowing” various faith-based programs “to actually get into the Federal Bureau of Prisons.” . . .

“I think Jesus lives in prison because it seems like so many people meet Him while they’re there. I would tell you that the love of God pours out to individuals regardless of their past,” Lankford explained.

Biden Claims His Campaign Was ‘Basically Scandal Free’ And People Have Thoughts

President Joe Biden claimed on Sunday that he had run a campaign free from scandal and critics were quick to point out the errors in that particular statement.

“We’ve run a campaign that’s basically scandal free. That’s hard to do in American politics these days,” Biden said.

Biden made the comments during the Democratic National Committee’s holiday reception in Washington, D.C. — where he also weighed in on the possible political future of Vice President Kamala Harris.

The Trump War Room’s Jacob Schneider posted a brief clip from the event along with a caption that read, “BIDEN: ‘We’ve run a campaign that’s basically scandal free. That’s hard to do in American politics.’ (Except covering up his obvious cognitive decline, peddling his family’s influence, hiding classified documents, etc etc etc).”

Critics pushed back on Biden’s claim, laying out a few details that they thought he must have missed when making his assessment.

Ancient Engraved Amulet Could ‘Turn Back History’ of Christianity, Experts Claim

Just ahead of the holidays, archeologists have “digitally unrolled” a 1,800-year-old silver amulet to decipher an inscription that’s being hailed as the oldest known evidence of Christianity in Europe. . .

The amulet housed a “wafer-thin” foil, measuring 1.4 inches, and featuring text referred to as the “Frankfurt silver inscription.”

It was found beneath the chin of a man’s skeleton at a burial site on the outskirts of Frankfurt in 2018. However, the ancient wording, dating back to between 230 and 270 — when the predominant religions in Europe were Judaism and paganism — has been virtually illegible until now.

[It reads,] “In the name of Saint Titus. Holy, holy, holy! In the name of Jesus Christ, Son of God! The Lord of the world resists with [strengths] all attacks [or setbacks]. The God grants entry to well-being. May this means of salvation protect the man who surrenders himself to the will of the Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, since before Jesus Christ every knee bows: those in heaven, those on earth and those under the earth, and every tongue confesses (Jesus Christ),” reads the translation, per DailyMail.

The deific discovery closely trails the recent decrypting of the Meggido Mosaic, a 1,800-year-old relic that says, “Jesus is God.” It, too, follows the July 2024 unearthing of a nearly 2,000-year-old manuscript that details the earliest known account of Christ’s childhood. Trump-Hating ABC Settles Defamation Case With $15 Million Payment to Trump Library

A top corporate media player is paying a hefty price for its Trump Derangement Syndrome and for the claims of its Democrat Party hack.

ABC will fork $15 million to President-elect Donald Trump’s presidential library fund to bail out big-mouth anchor George Stephanopoulos for his false assertions that Trump had been found liable for raping writer E. Jean Carroll, according to the terms of the settlement.

The agreement, signed Friday and made public Saturday, characterizes the payment as a “charitable contribution.”

ABC News weasels simply added an editor’s note at the bottom of a March 10, 2024 story headlined, “Nancy Mace defends her support for Trump after he was found liable for sexual assault.” They had no choice. The settlement demanded it.

“Editor’s Note: ABC News and George Stephanopoulos regret statements regarding President Donald J. Trump made during an interview by George Stephanopoulos with Rep. Alleged Chinese Spy Linked to Prince Andrew ‘Tip of the Iceberg’

A suspected Chinese spy who became a confidant of disgraced royal Prince Andrew is only the “tip of the iceberg” of Beijing’s espionage activities in the UK, former Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith claimed Monday.

Judges on Thursday upheld a ban on the businessman, identified only as H6, from entering the country, saying that the government had been “entitled to conclude that his exclusion was justified and proportionate”.

In the ruling, judges assessed H6 was in a position to “generate relationships between senior Chinese officials and prominent UK figures which could be leveraged for political interference purposes by the Chinese State”.

“The fact is, there are many more like him in the UK,” Duncan Smith, one of the UK’s leading China-sceptic voices, told BBC radio on Monday.

“We’re dealing with the tip of the iceberg,” he added.

Gov Abbott Blasts Migrant Accused of Setting Home on Fire With Children Inside

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott recently lambasted the migrant who allegedly tried killing his children in a house fire, and vowed to work with President-elect Trump’s incoming “border czar” to enforce law and order.

Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar, 46, was recently charged with three counts of attempted murder over a Nov. 6 incident at his home. The migrant allegedly set his Fulshear, Texas, home on fire while his three children were inside.

It is unclear whether Pulgar immigrated to the U.S. legally. Fox News Digital inquired about his legal status to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Abbott described his legal status as “unknown.”

In a Monday post on X, the Texas governor called for Pulgar to “spend the rest of his life” in jail.

Popular Cooking Ingredient Linked to Cancer Diagnoses in Young People

Climbing rates of colon and rectal cancer among people under 50 years old is a striking recent trend that has alarmed and puzzled clinicians racing to figure out why. Now a new study published in Gut offers what might be a crucial insight: specific lipids, or fatty acids, that are abundantly found in ultra-processed foods may be promoting inflammation that causes cancerous colon cells to run amok.

Colorectal cancer tumor samples from 81 people in the U.S. had excessive amounts of inflammation-boosting lipids, called omega-6 fatty acids—and lacked helpful lipids called omega-3 fatty acids, which help stop inflammation.

Inflammation is a normal defensive response that the immune system switches on to heal wounds or fight off infection. But researchers in the 1800s found that colon tumors under a microscope looked like “poorly healed wounds,” says Timothy Yeatman, a co-author of the study and a professor of surgery at the University of South Florida. Rampant inflammation over long periods of time damages cells and hampers their ability to fight potentially cancerous cell growth. Omega-6 fatty acids often come from our diet, and Yeatman suspects ultraprocessed food is likely a major source of them.

“We don’t know the full effects of these ultraprocessed foods on our body, but we do know that that’s a major thing that’s changed from 1950 onward,” Yeatman says. “Young people today, particularly rural and impoverished people, are being exposed to more of these processed foods than anybody else because they’re cheap and they’re in all the fast-food restaurants.”

Many ultraprocessed foods and fast foods are prepared with seed oil—a cheap, common type of vegetable-based cooking oil that is chemically processed from seeds such as canola (rapeseed), corn, grapeseed and sunflower. These oils contain high amounts of omega-6 fatty acids. The study was not able to definitively connect the lipids detected in the colon cancer tumors to any specific food or oil, however. Congress’s Adoption Tax Credit Legislation Is Pro-Life and Pro-Family

. . .Amidst rising inflation, soaring housing prices, and increased living costs, raising a family has become more expensive. Adoption itself is no exception; today, the process can cost between $20,000 and $45,000, making this meaningful path to family formation simply unaffordable for many. A 1985 Washington Post article gives an example of an adoption that cost just $4,000 in 1980, or about $15,000 in today’s dollars, indicating that adoption costs may have outpaced overall inflation rates.

While some outstanding nonprofits help reduce the financial barriers to adoption, the process is still far too costly for many would-be parents. Enter third-party “baby brokers,” firms that sometimes use unethical practices to connect prospective birth mothers with adoptive parents. These brokers are not licensed adoption agencies, have no legal authority to place children, and are inadvertently driving up the cost of adoption. . .

Thankfully, there’s a practical solution that could make adoption more accessible: the Adoption Tax Credit Refundability Act. Introduced in 2023, this bill has garnered bipartisan support, including from Senators Josh Hawley, R-Mo., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. In a hyperpartisan political landscape, and in the aftermath of a divisive presidential race, it is encouraging to see a measure that both sides can rally behind.

National Review Institute Senior Fellow Kathryn Jean Lopez recently said in a webinar, “[A]fter Roe, Dobbs — what it means to be ‘pro-life’ has to be more of an examination of conscience. We have to be more creative about it … and there also is tremendous opportunity for common ground.” The Adoption Tax Credit Refundability Act is common ground and a measure of support for both children and families.

The Adoption Tax Credit Refundability Act would amend the U.S. tax code to provide adoptive parents with a refundable tax credit for adoption-related expenses. The current adoption tax credit, which is non-refundable, functions like a deduction: it reduces a family’s tax liability but doesn’t put money back in their pockets. The new refundable credit will do just that for many low- and middle-income families. Given today’s cost of living, this tax relief could allow more families to pursue adoption and provide loving homes to children. Federal Jury Convicts Man for Using Cryptocurrency Scheme to Fund ISIS

A federal jury convicted a Virginia man for using a cryptocurrency scheme to funnel money to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) on Friday, according to a Department of Justice (DOJ) press release.

Mohammed Azharuddin Chhipa, 35, had been charged with providing material support to the terrorist group, the Justice Department said.

According to court records and evidence presented at trial, from at least October 2019 through October 2022, Chhipa collected and sent money to female ISIS members in Syria to benefit ISIS in various ways, including by financing the escape of female ISIS members from prison camps and supporting ISIS fighters. Chhipa would raise funds online on various social media accounts. He would receive electronic transfers of funds and travel hundreds of miles to collect funds by hand. He would then convert the money to cryptocurrency and send it to Turkey, where it was smuggled to ISIS members in Syria.

His primary co-conspirator was a British-born ISIS member residing in Syria who was involved in raising funds for prison escapes, terrorist attacks, and ISIS fighters. Over the course of the conspiracy, the defendant sent out over $185,000 in of cryptocurrency.

The jury found Chhipa guilty of one count of conspiracy to provide material support or resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization and four counts of providing and attempting to provide material support or resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization. Chhipa faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison per count. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for May 5, 2025. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
