Postal Worker Accused of Throwing Ballot, Election Mail Into Woods

A Florida man could face years behind bars, accused of tossing a mail-in ballot and other election-related mail into the woods while serving as a contract U.S. postal worker.

Federal authorities on Friday arrested Ottis McCoy, charging him with discarding over 1,000 pieces of mail instead of delivering them while working his Orlando delivery route on Tuesday. He was charged with stealing, taking or abstracting mail, a criminal offense punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and a prison term of up to five years.

According to an affidavit alongside a criminal complaint filed with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida on Friday, Charles Johnsten, inspector with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), recalled observing a surveillance video of McCoy “throwing large quantities of U.S. Mail into [a] wooded lot.”

Authorities were alerted due to another postal worker becoming suspicious when he helped McCoy load up a van with a large quantity of mail before seeing him return from his route earlier than expected. A tracking device installed on the van later confirmed that McCoy deviated from the route. (Read more from “Postal Worker Accused of Throwing Ballot, Election Mail Into Woods” HERE)

Report: More Than 300 Registrants Confirm They Shouldn’t Be on Nevada’s Voter Rolls

More than 300 individuals listed on Nevada’s voter rolls confirmed they have moved and should not be on the state’s active voter lists, according to a new report.

The revelation was disclosed in a Friday article authored by Citizen Outreach Foundation (COF) President Chuck Muth, whose Pigpen Project has been spearheading efforts to remove potentially ineligible registrants from the Silver State’s voter registration lists. The group utilizes government data to identify these questionable registrations and works with local election officials to ensure accuracy within the voter roll system.

While often seeking guidance on its challenges from Democrat Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar, the COF has faced roadblocks erected by Nevada’s elections chief and his office. Throughout the past year, the secretary has issued memos to local clerks seemingly aimed at stymying the group’s efforts to ensure the state has clean voter rolls.

The situation came to a head on Aug. 27, when Aguilar’s office issued a directive effectively instructing local election officials to stop processing the COF’s affidavits. This prompted the group to file lawsuits last month that sought to force clerks and registrars to comply with their challenges.

While the suits were withdrawn due to technical issues, Muth told The Federalist earlier this week he intends to re-file them after the 2024 general election. (Read more from “Report: More Than 300 Registrants Confirm They Shouldn’t Be on Nevada’s Voter Rolls” HERE)

I Was Giddy When the FBI Raided Mar-a-Lago, but Now I’m Voting for Trump

By most metrics, I’d be categorized as a young conservative. I am a 22-year-old college student. I interned for a Republican in the U.S. Senate. I was elected president of my former college’s Republican club. No one would mistake me for a progressive activist.

But if you had asked me a year ago about the 2024 presidential election, I would have told you that I was hopeful the Republican Party would move on from Donald Trump. In fact, I would have supported Joe Biden before backing Trump, even though I did not like much of anything about Biden. . .

I eagerly watched the Jan. 6 Committee hearings. I was excited when New York State Attorney General Letitia James sued Trump for financial fraud. When legal scholars from the Federalist Society wrote that the 14th Amendment barred him from the presidency, I was hopeful he might finally be done for good. When the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, I felt justice might soon be served against the man who had brought our country to the brink. . .

But over the past year, my view of Trump has evolved, and my view of the broader political landscape has also changed. It became clear to me that while Trump is far from perfect, he is not the true existential threat. The existential threat we face comes from the Democrat Party and Kamala Harris.

The Democrat Party is endangering the foundations that hold America together. This threat is multidimensional, but no concern is more immediate than the Democrats’ creation and defense of an immigration system that has completely abandoned integration and favors the interests of newcomers over those of the American people. Gulf Stream ‘On Verge of Collapse’ as Scientists Warn World To Be ‘Impacted for Centuries’

A vital weather system that moves warm water through the Atlantic Ocean, creating the Gulf Stream, is on the brink of collapse, threatening “catastrophic” cooling across the globe for centuries, some scientists have warned.

More than 40 top climate scientists have penned an open letter warning that a key ocean circulation process in the Atlantic, could be on the brink of failure, threatening the Gulf Stream and other processes that keep Europe warmer.

The Gulf Stream is a warm and Atlantic current following the eastern coast of the US and Canada, before crossing the ocean towards Europe, ensuring the west of the Continent is warmer than it would otherwise be.

In what mirrors the plot of the 2004 film The Day After Tomorrow, the 44 scientists warn that the disaster would stem from the potential collapse of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC).

The AMOC effectively moves heat around the Atlantic Ocean. In The Day After Tomorrow the world is thrown into a new ice age after climate change causes the Gulf Stream to collapse. (Read more from “Gulf Stream ‘On Verge of Collapse’ as Scientists Warn World To Be ‘Impacted for Centuries’” HERE)

‘Objectively Outrageous’: Judge Makes Inspiring Decision After Woman Arrested for Criticizing Government Official

Officials in the town of Surprise, Arizona, have been humiliated by a public scolding from a judge in Maricopa County in a case in which they ordered a woman at a public meeting arrested because they didn’t like what she was saying.

The Constitution’s First Amendment, of course, was written in order to protect speech that someone doesn’t like, and in this case the comments were about the ability – or ineptitude – of a tax-paid city official.

Rebekah Anne Massie came to the public meeting to express her displeasure, and got arrested for her words.

Judge Gerald Williams now has dismissed the charges fabricated against Massie, with prejudice, meaning they cannot be refiled, ever. . .

His conclusion was definitive: “IT IS ORDERED THAT this case is dismissed with prejudice, in the interests of justice,” he wrote. “The defendant should not have faced criminal prosecution once for expressing her political views. The court agrees that she should never face criminal prosecution, for expressing her political views on that date, at that time, again. Nor should she be forced to encounter additional attorney feeds should this matter be re-filed…” (Read more from “‘Objectively Outrageous’: Judge Makes Inspiring Decision After Woman Arrested for Criticizing Government Official” HERE)

‘Shameful’: Judge Stuns State With Order That ‘Noncitizens’ Be Put back on Voter Rolls

A federal judge has stunned officials in the state of Virginia with an order that they put a list of 1,600 people, removed from voter rolls under a state program that cracks down on election fraud, back on the voter rolls.

Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin promised an immediate appeal of the scheme that could undermine election integrity.

It is WRIC that reported on the ruling from a Joe Biden-appointed judge, District Judge Patricia Tolliver Giles, who claimed that Virginia’s state program to work on keeping its voter rolls clean was “systemic,” not “individual.”

Her claim is that because of her determination, the rolls were cleaned within 90 days of an election, and that’s in violation of the National Voter Registration Act.

It was the Biden administration, which has run a program of open borders for the nation for nearly four years now, removing obstacles that would prevent illegal aliens from simply walking onto U.S. land and taking advantage of the multitude of social and financial benefits programs, that sued the state for trying to remove those who are not eligible to vote. Slimy, Orange ‘Alien Egg Pods’ Discovered in River — And They’re ‘Spreading Rapidly’

Just in time for spooky season, a bizarre, slimy orange bag said to resemble a glowing dinosaur egg has been pulled from a river.

And while scientists say they know what it is — a colony of Bryozoans, slimy little hermaphrodites that cluster together to create a dinosaur-egg like pod — they’re puzzled as to why the creepy crew was literally hanging out in a canal in Utrecht, Holland.

Volunteers found the grotesque blob clinging to to a floating island in the canal. Experts say that colonies can grow to up to nearly seven feet in diameter.

“It is the first time that they have been discovered here. So it is a very special story,” Nijs said.

The expert added that the aesthetically unsettling phenomena is in no way harmful. (Read more from “Slimy, Orange ‘Alien Egg Pods’ Discovered in River — And They’re ‘Spreading Rapidly’” HERE)

Black Convenience Store Patrons Voice Support for Trump (VIDEO)

Black patrons at a Chicago convenience store told the clerk, a popular YouTube creator, that they support Donald Trump over Kamala Harris because “immigrants are taking over,” “Trump be looking out for the black community,” and fear of “World War III” under a Harris presidency.

Khalid Attaf, a comedic YouTuber with nearly one million subscribers, decided to switch up the style of his typical prank-style videos and asked his customers if they support “Trump or Kamala” while they were paying for their items.

The video, uploaded October 4, revealed an overwhelming amount of pro-Trump responses over the vice president:

One man told Attaf that he dislikes the Biden-Harris administration’s leadership on illegal immigration, complaining that “Venezuelans” are “taking all our bread.”

He also said Trump looks out for “the black community” and denounced the two assassination attempts against him, saying, “Don’t try to take my boy out. Make America Great Again!” (Read more from “Black Convenience Store Patrons Voice Support for Trump” HERE)

The GOP Just Secured a Massive Election Integrity Win

The Republican National Convention (RNC) won a massive election integrity victory, undermining unlawful ballot counting laws in Democrat states.

On Friday, the RNC secured a win in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled that mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day cannot be counted under federal law. This comes as Democrats have claimed it will take days to count all the ballots due to late mail-in votes.

Circuit Judge Andrew S. Oldham ruled that “Congress statutorily designated a singular ‘day for the election’ of members of Congress and the appointment of presidential electors. Text, precedent, and historical practice confirm this ‘day for the election’ is the day by which ballots must be both cast by voters and received by state officials.”

RNC Chairman Michael Whatley (R-NC) called it a significant win for preserving the integrity and fairness of the presidential election.

“This is a major win for election integrity, upholding the law and commonsense ballot safeguards. Voters deserve nothing less than a fair and transparent election which ends on November 5th,” Whatley said. “We will continue to defend the law, fight for the protection of every legal vote, and stop election interference in our country’s most important election.”

Israel Attacks Tehran Military Targets in Retaliation for Ballistic Missile Barrage — As It Vows To Do ‘Whatever Necessary’

Israel launched airstrikes at military targets in Iran early Saturday in retaliation for Tehran’s ballistic barrage of 200 rockets targeting the Jewish state earlier this month, the Israeli military confirmed.

Multiple explosions were reported near Tehran, Iran’s capital, and the nearby city of Karaj as Israel’s initial strikes appeared to have targeted a weapons depot, along with a barracks or office, senior Arab officials told NBC News.

“It was so loud and the sky became red,” said an Iranian resident in Tehran, who asked not to be named.

Another Tehran resident said she “woke up to a distant sound of blasts” Saturday morning, adding there was a heavy presence of Islamic Revolutionary Guards in the city on Friday, according to CNN.

The Israel Defense Forces fired “precise strikes” on military targets in Iran “in response to months of continuous attacks from the regime in Iran against the State of Israel,” an IDF spokesperson said in a statement.
