Hypocrites: Top Democrats, Including Election Denier Jamie Raskin, Won’t Commit To Certifying a Trump Victory

Top congressional Democrats told Axios on Thursday they would not commit to certifying the 2024 election if former President Donald Trump wins.

The failure to commit to certifying the election would prove many members to be hypocrites, including House Oversight Committee ranking member and former January 6 committee member Jamie Raskin (D-MD), who told Axios that he is unsure if he’ll certify a Trump win.

Raskin denied Trump won the 2016 election when he objected to Trump’s electors in 2017.

If Trump “won a free, fair and honest election, then we would obviously accept it,” Raskin said, assuming the election was free, fair and honest. “I definitely don’t assume that,” he added. “Democrats don’t engage in election fraud and election fabrication.”

A video surfaced in September of a panel discussion in February 2024 in which Raskin speculated that Congress would invalidate a Trump election victory, even though it could be at the risk of “civil war.”

“It is not clear whether Raskin was actually outlining a plan of action, or rather using a hypothetical to argue that the U.S. Supreme Court was placing what he considered an undue burden on Congress to keep Trump out of office,” Breitbart News’s Joel Pollak reported. Barack Obama Sounds Alarm: Black Voters Not Enough Behind Kamala Harris, Especially ‘The Brothers’

Former President Barack Obama warned supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday that not enough black voters are backing her for president, especially “the brothers.”

The warning suggests top Democrats are panicked about Harris’s reduced support among black voters.

Only 84 percent of black voters say they would vote for Harris, according to a Pew Research poll from September 30, while 13 percent said they would vote for Trump. Harris’s support among the demographic is down eight points from President Joe Biden’s support in 2020, when he won 92 percent of their vote.

Among black men, only 80 percent support Harris, a Washington Post/Ipsos poll recently found, while a NAACP poll found one in four under the age of 50 showed support for Trump.

“We have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities, as we saw when I was running,” Obama told Harris supporters in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty. Harris Ignores Free Speech, Gun Rights in Hyperbolic Tirade About Saving Constitution

What politicians don’t say often matters just as much as what they do. Vice President Kamala Harris celebrated several amendments in the Bill of Rights but notably left out some others when she claimed her Republican opponent would “terminate” the Constitution.

On Thursday, Harris participated in a Univision town hall in Las Vegas, where she courted Hispanic voters in prime time, many of whom are obviously weary of authoritarianism under communist rule. Harris was answering a question about her party pushing President Joe Biden out of the way for her own candidacy when she launched into a hyperbolic tirade about how former President Donald Trump was thwarting her crusade for “democracy.”

“I am honored to have earned the Democratic nomination,” she said, several months after the DNC ousted Biden from the ticket and ensconced her as his replacement candidate without a challenge.

Trump on the other hand, she said, would “terminate the Constitution of the United States.”

“Imagine the Constitution of the United States, which guarantees the Fourth Amendment against unreasonable search and seizure by a government on you, the Fifth Amendment, the Sixth Amendment,” she said. Americans might be wondering about how the First and Second Amendments, which guarantee free speech and gun rights, will fare another administration that is built on censorship and hostile toward firearms. In a world first, a new study conducted by a California-based neurotechnology company has recorded two-way communication between sleeping individuals during lucid dreaming. Using special tracking equipment, the groundbreaking research from REMspace recorded two individuals exchanging a simple message while lucid dreaming.

The breakthrough recording took place on September 24, which was the result of almost five years of rigorous research. Not only are these findings unprecedented, but REMspace founder and CEO Michel Raduga says they could also unlock the potential of dreams as a platform for human communication. . .

According to studies, lucid dreaming refers to exceptional occurrences where we can become aware of the fact that we are dreaming. In a lucid dream, we remain physiologically asleep and immersed within a strikingly realistic dream environment, all while being aware that we are dreaming. In addition to this awareness, we can also willingly control actions within the dream. Lucid dream occurs during the REM sleep stage. . .

The REMspace study was carried out on September 24, 2024, taking place at the participants’ respective homes. As they slept, their brain waves and other polysomnographic data were tracked remotely by a specially developed equipment.

When this equipment picked up that a participant had entered a lucid dream, it sent word in Remmyo (an artificial dream language designed to be detectable through sensitive sensors) to the participant via earbuds. The participant repeated the word in his dream, and this was then stored and sent to another participant as she entered a lucid dream. Secret Service Blocked Independent Audit of Trump Security, Whistleblower Says

Senior leadership within the Secret Service blocked multiple auditors from the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General (OIG) from probing former President Donald Trump’s security detail, according to a new whistleblower report.

On Wednesday, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., sent a letter to Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe outlining the new charges of misconduct within the agency.

“A Secret Service whistleblower has alleged to my office that Secret Service headquarters blocked several auditors from the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General (OIG) from accessing recent Trump campaign events,” Hawley wrote. “The whistleblower alleges that the Secret Service denied access to DHS auditors because the former president is not receiving the full level of protective assets for all of his events, and Secret Service leadership wants to obscure or simply conceal this fact.”

According to the whistleblower, Hawley added, “Secret Service leadership is permitting OIG auditors only at select events — such as a recent rally in North Carolina — where President Trump receives the full level of protective assets, to create the impression he is receiving this level of protection at all times, when in fact he is not.”

The latest whistleblower disclosure comes two weeks after Hawley sent another letter to Rowe charging the agency with denying Trump “sufficient assets” for a campaign rally in Wisconsin. The failure to provide the former president with full security forced Republicans to cancel the Badger State event. In a clumsy attempt to be discreet, Vice President Kamala Harris was caught on a hot mic and on video Wednesday telling someone that the Hurricane Milton briefing she was in the middle of was a “live broadcast.”

As National Weather Service Director Ken Graham warned of the potentially devastating flooding that could result from the major hurricane’s landfall, Harris – who was taking part in briefing over video – appeared to become distracted by something behind the camera.

The vice president – in a moment that some on social media likened to a scene from HBO’s “Veep” – then awkwardly raised her hands up to her chin and slowly concealed half her face, including her mouth, with her palms and fingers.

“It’s a live broadcast,” Harris barked, with her mouth still shielded behind her hands.

Monster Storm Carves Deadly Path Through Florida at This Hour After Striking in the Dead of Night

Hurricane Milton made landfall as a Category 3 storm with 120 mph winds on Wednesday near Siesta Key, Florida, slamming into the state’s west coast before churning its way eastward.

The hurricane was later downgraded to a Category 2 storm and has since been downgraded to a Category 1 storm.

During an appearance on Fox Weather, St. Lucie County Sheriff Keith Pearson confirmed there have been 17 tornadoes along with several fatalities.

“We can confirm 17 tornadoes hit St. Lucie County, Florida, with multiple fatalities, a rescue mission ongoing, and hundreds of homes destroyed,” he said.

The catastrophic landfall comes barely two weeks after Hurricane Helene, which battered Florida before causing devastation in North Carolina. Florida residents have spent the interim boarding up windows and evacuating their homes in preparation for Milton. Trump Closes the Door on Another Debate With Kamala Harris: ‘There Will Be No Rematch!’

Former President Donald Trump shut the door Wednesday on debating Vice President Kamala Harris for a second time before Election Day.

“I won the last two debates,” the Republican nominee declared in a lengthy, all caps Truth Social post, which came after a last-ditch attempt by Fox News to arrange another debate.

Trump, 78, noted that he took part in CNN’s June 27 debate against President Biden and ABC’s Sept. 10 debate against Harris.

The former president also pointed out that he accepted an invite to a Sept. 4 debate that would’ve been hosted by Fox News “but she turned it down.”

Harris Is Only Running For President Because It Became Impossible To Hide Biden’s Decline

In her appearance on “The View” this week, Vice President Kamala Harris was asked if she would have done anything differently than President Joe Biden over the past four years. She answered, incredibly, “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”

Commentators were quick to note how disastrous an answer it was given Harris’ previous efforts to distinguish herself from Biden, whose tenure in office is widely seen as a failure. The problem for Harris of course is that she’s the current vice president, which means she’s not the challenger but the de facto incumbent. Distinguishing herself from Biden was always going to be difficult. What’s more, the Biden White House has gone out of its way to emphasize how integral Harris has been to the administration. Biden himself said last week, she has been “a major player in everything we’ve done.”

Previous attempts by Harris to distance herself from Biden, like choosing “A New Way Forward” as her campaign slogan, or talking about what she’ll do on “day one in office,” have come off as fake and half-hearted. They have also lacked credibility. As former President Donald Trump noted in the debate last month, she’s been in office nearly four years. Why hasn’t she done any of the things she says she’ll do if she wins the presidency?

But Harris’ answer on “The View” also did something else, which might be even worse for her electoral prospects than endorsing all of Biden’s decisions. She inadvertently exposed the uncomfortable truth at the heart of her campaign, which Harris and the corporate media desperately don’t want to talk about.

Book States Biden Blames Obama For Russia Invading Ukraine: He ‘F***ed Up’

President Joe Biden blamed former President Barack Obama for Russia invading Ukraine in 2022, according to a new book from Bob Woodward, saying that the former president’s weakness in 2014 led to Russian President Vladimir Putin feeling emboldened to go further.

During a moment of political upheaval in February 2014, Russian soldiers, wearing uniforms with no insignias, seized government buildings throughout Crimea and later seized its airports. Russia illegally annexed Crimea the following month.

In his new book, “War,” journalist Bob Woodward says that Biden blamed Obama for Russia invading Ukraine.

“They f***ed up in 2014,” Biden said to a friend, according to Woodward. “That’s why we are here. We f***ed it up. Barack never took Putin seriously.”
