After all the pandering and sanitized statements concerning the war in Gaza, the Democrats’ plan to keep Michigan from falling away might not be working. It’s not a slam dunk, but this mayor’s endorsement is rather damning for the Kamala Harris team, which has worked overtime to keep Muslim Americans from either staying home or, worse, backing Trump. The former was likely the biggest fear, as Arab American voters are incensed over Israel’s justified war of self-defense in the region against Hamas. Yet, in Hamtramck, Michigan, America’s only Muslim-majority city, its Democrat mayor decided to make his 2024 decision public: He’s voting for Trump (via Fox News):

The mayor of a Muslim-majority city in Michigan says he is endorsing Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, calling the former commander-in-chief, “the right choice for this critical time.”

Amer Ghalib, mayor of the Detroit-area suburb Hamtramck, announced his endorsement of Trump in a Facebook post Sunday. While admitting he and Trump didn’t “agree on everything,” he said he regarded the former commander-in-chief as “a man of principles.”

“Though it’s looking good, he may or may not win the election and be the 47th president of the United States, but I believe he is the right choice for this critical time,” Ghalib wrote in Arabic on his Facebook page. “I’ll not regret my decision no matter what the outcome would be, and I’m ready to face the consequences. For this, and for many other reasons, I announce my support and endorsement for the former, and hopefully, the next president of the United States, Donald Trump.”

‘Finish the Job’: DOJ Publishes Bounty Offer From Latest Would-Be Trump Assassin; Bill Barr Blasts DOJ for Releasing Letter: ‘Dumbfounded’

Prosecutors for the U.S. Department of Justice released a letter, allegedly penned by the man arrested for attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump as he golfed in West Palm Beach last week, which offers a $150,000 reward to anyone who could “complete the job” of murdering the Republican candidate.

“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I am so sorry I failed you,” the letter addressed to the “World” reads. “I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.”

The alleged author of the letter, Ryan Routh, attributed Democrat and corporate media rhetoric painting Trump as “unfit to be anything, much less a US president,” as motivation for his crime. He also blamed Trump’s decision to cut ties with Iran as the primary reason the “Middle East has unraveled.” . . .

According to court papers, Routh dropped off the letter in a package with an unnamed person “several months prior” to the golf course assassination attempt. It wasn’t until days after Routh’s arrest, however, that the “civilian witness” reportedly first opened the box containing “ammunition, a metal pipe, miscellaneous building materials, tools, four phones, and various letters” and alerted authorities.

The circumstances surrounding the letter’s appearance raise many questions. The content of the letter, however, makes clear that the would-be assassin’s ultimate goal in hiding in the bushes at Trump International Golf Course on September 15 was to permanently remove Trump from the planet by whatever means necessary. Bill Barr Blasts DOJ for Releasing Letter of Alleged Would-Be Trump Assassin Ryan Wesley Routh: ‘Dumbfounded’

By New York Post. Former US Attorney General William Barr panned the Justice Department he once ran for publicly disclosing a chilling letter from the man who allegedly attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump earlier this month.

In a court filing Monday, prosecutors released the disturbing note they claim was authored by suspect Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, as proof of his intention to kill the 45th president.

“I was dumbfounded that the DOJ made public this morning the contents of the letter that, Ryan Routh, left with an acquaintance prior to the attempted assassination of former President Trump,” Barr told Fox News.

Prosecutors claimed to have acquired that note — addressed “To the World” — from an unnamed source who found it in a box they said was delivered to them by Routh prior to the shooting last week.

“The letter calls on people to ‘finish the job’ of killing President Trump, attempts to rouse people in incendiary terms to do so, and offers $150,000 to anyone who succeeds. There was no apparent justification for releasing this information at this stage,” Barr went on. Trump Fights Jack Smith Efforts to ‘Litter’ Jan. 6 Case With Evidence Dump

Donald Trump‘s attorneys said on Monday that they oppose Jack Smith’s request to submit a massive filing to the court that would contain evidence supporting the special counsel’s election interference charges against the former president.

Trump’s attorneys asked Judge Tanya Chutkan to deny the request after Smith asked the court over the weekend if he could file a 180-page document justifying Trump’s charges in the wake of the Supreme Court‘s presidential immunity ruling.

“Allowing the Special Counsel’s Office to litter the docket sheet with an unnecessary tome would be inconsistent with the fact that there are dispositive threshold legal questions identified in Trump v. United States that can and should be resolved first,” Trump’s attorneys wrote.

The Supreme Court found in July that presidents enjoy some immunity from criminal prosecution. The high court also ordered Chutkan to decide what conduct in Smith’s indictment was immunized and therefore unable to be used against Trump in light of the justices’ newly established definition of presidential immunity.

Prosecutors for Smith told Chutkan they wanted to submit the mammoth filing, which would be roughly four times the size of a typical court motion, to create a “robust record” of why their indictment should pass the Supreme Court’s immunity test. Alan Dershowitz Says Feds May Not Be Able to Prosecute Would-Be Trump Assassin for Attempted Assassination

Alan Dershowitz expressed doubt on Monday that federal prosecutors could make a case for attempted murder against the man accused of trying to assassinate former President Donald Trump on Sept. 15.

Secret Service agents thwarted the apparent assassination attempt on Trump by firing shots at Ryan Wesley Routh, who was allegedly lurking near Trump International Golf Club, two months after Trump was shot in the right ear while giving a speech at a July campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Dershowitz said that despite Routh’s intent to kill Trump, it was not clear that all of the legal elements for attempted murder were present.

“Based on my experience, I don’t think they have a case for attempted assassination,” Dershowitz said. “Let me explain why, this is gonna sound so counterintuitive. The guy obviously wanted to kill the president and he took actions to kill the president. Now here… you’re getting a free Harvard criminal law class.”

“If he conspired with somebody else to do, it would be an open and shut case, because for conspiracy all you need is an agreement to kill the president or to try to kill the president, and he did certainly agree with himself, he certainly made up his mind,” Dershowitz continued. “We have the evidence, the letter, he wrote a letter… saying ‘I wanted to kill the president, I tried to kill the president, I failed, I’m giving $150,000 to anybody else who succeeds.’ So, if it were conspiracy, it would be a clear case, conspiracy to assassinate the president, open and shut. Why isn’t it an open and shut case for attempt?” . . .

How Democrats Are Grooming Assassins to Take out Trump

There have been many calls for lowering the temperature between the first assassination attempt against Donald Trump on July 13, 2024, and the second on Sept. 15, 2024. Yet only two hours after last week’s attempt on Trump in Florida, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries lambasted “extreme MAGA Republicans,” saying “We must stop them,” leaving listeners to guess to whom he referred and how “they” should be stopped.

It’s part of a constant pattern since Trump emerged on the political scene, starting with assassination fantasies with “the resistance,” continuing through the Russian collusion hoax, and aided by protective agencies’ refusal to secure conservative figures.

It’s not just the typically aggressive political rhetoric. Leftists have openly engaged in direct assassination fantasies for years. A conspicuous movement to dehumanize one particular person in America has continuously expanded since early 2016, when “the resistance” formed. Madonna infamously proclaimed, “I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House,” signaling the cultural zeitgeist controllers would wage a no-holds-barred siege against Trump.

Kathy Griffin followed in kind, publicizing an image of herself holding Trump’s dripping severed head. Shortly afterward, nightly showings of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar in New York’s Central Park were capped by the assassination of an unmistakably Trumpian Caesar. Feelers for assassination were going out.

As of 2017, “the resistance” could claim, consequence-free, that Trump deserved anything he got, up to and including murder. The cultural left intended to not only marginalize Trump, but also to fully demonize and dehumanize him. The race was on to define Trump as the most dangerously destructive person in America. The sheer scale of the propaganda no doubt seized the imaginations of many with dreams of fame and glory. The seeds of assassination were thus widely sown. House Rules Committee Nixes Vote on Short-Term Spending Bill After GOP Opposition

The House Rules Committee on Monday opted against voting on a short-term spending bill that would avert a government shutdown, setting the stage for a scenario in which House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) will need to rely on Democrats to pass the contentious measure.

Johnson’s three month continuing resolution, which would keep the government funded through Dec. 20, was expected to be among a slate of bills approved by the GOP-controlled rules committee Monday night but it was not brought up for consideration after multiple Republicans expressed opposition to the measure.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), a member of the rules committee, argued that the House speaker was attempting to “set up a government funding crisis the week before Christmas” to pressure lawmakers to vote for a bill that would be written “behind closed doors.”

“Why Christmas? So he can pressure Members to vote for a bill they haven’t read, by using their desire to see their families on Christmas Eve against them,” the Kentucky Republican wrote on X. . .

A secret ammunition silo facility at Toropets in Tver region that housed one of the Russian President’s nuke missiles was hit by Ukrainian drone, it was claimed yesterday.

It allegedly happened just ten miles from an ‘indestructible’ 30,000 ton munitions storage site that had been obliterated on Wednesday.

A huge explosion was triggered when the ‘Satan-2’ missile was hit, causing locals to panic over fears of a Doomsday detonation.

Zelenskyy Flown Into Key Swing State at Taxpayer Expense After Attacking Trump, Vance

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy flew into a key U.S. swing state this week on a taxpayer-funded aircraft after publicly criticizing former President Donald Trump and Republican Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance.

Zelenskyy touched down in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on Sunday in a U.S. Air Force C-17A aircraft and toured a local munitions factory that has been producing armaments for Ukraine amid the country’s ongoing war against Russia. During his visit, Zelenskyy met with high-level Democratic Pennsylvania officials such as Gov. Josh Shapiro, Sen. Bob Casey and Rep. Matt Cartwright and expressed his gratitude “for their support.”

“Trump makes political statements in his election campaign. He says he wants the war to stop. Well, we do, too…. My feeling is that Trump doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how,” Zelenskyy told The New Yorker in the interview published Sunday, noting that he was appreciative that Trump has expressed his support. “With this war, oftentimes, the deeper you look at it the less you understand. I’ve seen many leaders who were convinced they knew how to end it tomorrow, and as they waded deeper into it, they realized it’s not that simple.”

Zelenskyy was even more critical of Vance to The New Yorker, referring to him as “too radical.” In an interview with the Shawn Ryan show in mid-September, Vance recently proposed a peace deal where Russia retains the territory it has seized so that a demilitarized zone could be established along the current battle lines. . .

“This would be an awful idea, if a person were actually going to carry it out,” Zelenskyy told The New Yorker. “But there’s certainly no way this could ever happen… And it wouldn’t necessarily end the war, either. ‘Radioactive’: Radical Historian Says America ‘Walking Into a Doomsday Scenario’ if This Presidential Candidate Wins

Historian Douglas Brinkley claimed Monday that the election of former President Donald Trump would usher in a “doomsday scenario,” just over a week after an assassination attempt on Trump was thwarted by the Secret Service.

The Secret Service thwarted the apparent assassination attempt on Trump September 15 by firing shots at Ryan Welsey Routh, who was allegedly lurking near Trump International Golf Club, two months after Trump was shot and slightly wounded in the right ear while giving a speech at a July 13 campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Brinkley and “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski maintained that criticism of Trump did not lead to the assassination attempt. “What would you say to those that say you can’t even suggest that Donald Trump doing all that he did is a threat to democracy or else you’re engaging in political hate speech?” Scarborough asked.
