Former President Donald Trump mocked Vice President Kamala Harris during Tuesday night’s debate after she attempted to interrupt him, turning her infamous “I’m speaking” moment against her.
During the debate, Trump gave the audience a brief overview of how Harris has continually changed her positions on key subjects for the sake of political expediency, beginning with fracking.
“She’s been against it for 12 years. Defund the police. She’s been [for] that forever. She gave all that stuff up, very wrongly, very horribly, and everybody’s laughing at it. Ok? They’re all laughing at it. She gave up at least 12 and probably 14 or 15 different policies — like she was big on defund the police in Minnesota; she went out,” Trump said as Harris shook her head and mumbled something, prompting Trump to address her.
“Wait a minute. I’m talking now. You don’t mind, please. Does that sound familiar?” Trump asked as Harris stood with her mouth open, muttering another phrase in his direction.
In other words, Trump took Harris’s “I’m speaking” moment — gleaned from the 2020 vice presidential debates between herself and former Vice President Mike Pence — and used it to his advantage. During that debate, she spoke over Pence as he interjected, condescendingly stating, “I’m speaking,” with a grin across her face.

The 2024 presidential election is a matter of “life or death,” argued Republican spokesperson Elizabeth Pipko, who noted that the U.S. and Israel share the same “evil” enemy while warning that “weak leadership” could lead to an October 7-like tragedy on American soil.
In a conversation with Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), published Tuesday, Pipko, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee (RNC), emphasized that the 2024 election is not just political but a matter of “life or death,” arguing that the current threats against the Jewish State reflect a shared danger for both Israel and the U.S. under what she describes as “weak leadership.”
“People are being slaughtered by an evil that’s not just an enemy of Israel, but it’s an enemy of ours, too,” she said.
After Hamas executed 6 hostages, @elizabethpipko said the election is “not even political anymore.”
“People tell me all the time this is an election about life or death, and unfortunately, now I have to share that sentiment, because people are dying”https://t.co/NY8CGDvbuy
According to JNS, Pipko, a former model and founder of a movement encouraging Jewish Democrats to switch parties, explained that Republican support for Israel symbolizes broader values, such as strength and security.
“Support for Israel against an enemy like Hamas is everything that we believe in and stand for as a country,” she said, adding that Israel’s security concerns should resonate with Americans at large. Three years on and with pressing questions remaining, not even federal investigators can get the Biden administration’s Pentagon to answer how many people were actually evacuated from Afghanistan during the 2021 withdrawal.
The Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan was a chaotic operation that left 13 servicemembers dead and thousands of Americans initially stranded. Though the State Department estimates that over 125,000 people, including 6,000 American citizens, were evacuated from Afghanistan in withdrawal efforts, the department’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) said in a report on Tuesday it couldn’t substantiate that number because it was unable to acquire the necessary data from the Pentagon.
“State OIG could not confirm the number of individuals evacuated from Afghanistan with the support of the U.S. government in 2021,” the agency said in the report.
The Afghanistan withdrawal raised severe criticisms from both sides of the political aisle against the Biden administration. Multiple after-action reports have found that the administration poorly planned the operation and incorrectly predicted that the Taliban wouldn’t take control of Afghanistan as fast as it did, leaving the military to scramble to try and safely conduct the withdrawal. A State Department after-action report found that there was also confusion as to who at the department was leading efforts during the operation.
No one inside the Biden administration has been fired or has resigned for their role in the botched withdrawal. President Joe Biden continues to defend his decision to leave, though he has been criticized for not personally addressing the matter more thoroughly.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump accused Vice President Kamala Harris of copying his philosophy because she had no policy proposals during Tuesday night’s debate.
Trump said during the ABC News debate that Harris is “a Marxist” who will govern far to the left despite campaigning to the political center and even adopting some of the same policies he holds. He warned the vice president will destroy the U.S. if she is elected president.
“She has no policy. Everything that she believed three years ago and four years ago is out the window. She’s going to my philosophy now, in fact, I was gonna send her a MAGA hat,” Trump said. “She’s gone to my philosophy, but if she ever got elected, she’d change it. It will be the end of our country. She’s a Marxist. Everybody knows she’s a Marxist. Her father’s a Marxist professor in economics, and he taught her well.”
Trump criticized the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of the southern border crisis, which he argued has also destroyed the economy.
“They’re criminals. Many of these people are criminals, and that’s bad for our economy too … Well, bad immigration is the worst thing that can happen to our economy. They have, and she has, destroyed our country with policy that’s insane. Almost policy that you say ‘they have to hate our country,” the former president said. President Biden told reporters Tuesday that he’s heading up to New York City and “doing 9/11” in a gaffe that was ruthlessly mocked by social media users.
The 81-year-old president, who was forced to end his re-election bid in July over mounting questions about his mental acuity, made the verbal blunder as he previewed his near-term travel plans.
“I’m going up to my granddaughter’s birthday in New York,” Biden said on the White House lawn as he prepared to board his Marine One helicopter.
“Then we’re going to watch the debate and tomorrow I’m doing 9/11,” the president added, with unfortunate phrasing.
Biden was seemingly referencing his scheduled participation in solemn remembrance ceremonies marking the 23rd anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Former President Donald Trump said he “probably took a bullet to the head” in response to overheated rhetoric from Vice President Kamala and Democrats, referring to his near-assassination at a Pennsylvania campaign rally on July 13.
“I probably took a bullet to the head because of the things that they say about me,” the 45th president shot back when Harris charged that he would “weaponize the Department of Justice against his political enemies.”
“They talk about democracy — I’m a threat to democracy,” he added.
“They’re the threat to democracy, with their Russia, Russia, Russia investigation that went nowhere.”
Trump, 78, and Harris, 59, sparred at their first debate on ABC Tuesday night in Philadelphia, just 55 days ahead of the November election. (Read more from “Trump Says He ‘Took a Bullet to the Head’ Thanks to Dems” HERE)

By Breitbart. Claim: Kamala Harris on Tuesday night accused Donald Trump of proposing a national sales tax.
Harris referred to a “Trump sales tax” and claimed it would add 20 percent to the cost of goods.
Verdict: False.
President Trump has not proposed a national sales tax. (Read more from “Fact Check: Kamala Harris Falsely Claims Trump Would Impose a National Sales Tax” HERE)
Fact Check: Kamala Harris Claims She Was Raised in the Middle Class
By Breitbart. CLAIM: Vice President Kamala Harris claimed during Tuesday night’s presidential debate that she had a middle-class upbringing.
VERDICT: Mostly false. Harris had a rich Canadian upbringing, growing up in Westmount — a majority English neighborhood in the French province of Quebec.
When asked if Americans are better off today than they were four years ago, Harris completely dodged the question, instead beginning with this line: “So, I was raised as a middle-class kid, and I am actually the only person on this stage who has a plan that is about lifting up the middle class and working people of America.”
Continuing to dodge the actual question, she said:
I believe in the ambition, the aspirations, the dreams of the American people, and that is why I imagine and have, actually, a plan to build what I call an opportunity economy. Because, here’s the thing, we know that we have a shortage of homes and housing, and the cost of housing is too expensive for far too many people. We know that young families need support to raise their children.

Donald Trump, Kamala Harris Face off for First Time
By Breitbart. . .Coming back from the first commercial break, Muir turns to Trump and asks him how he would end the war in Ukraine and whether he wants Ukraine to win the war. Trump said he wants to end the war, and he noted how the U.S. has put hundreds of billions of tax dollars into the war and he called out Harris for failing to get Europe to pay its fair share. He noted how Putin and Zelensky do not respect Biden, and he warns that this could “lead to World War 3” and that President Biden is missing in action and he was thrown aside “like a dog.”
Trump says Kamala “hates Israel,” something Harris denies. Trump also says he would end the war in Ukraine before he even takes office. Then Harris claims Trump said Putin “can do whatever the hell he wants and go into Ukraine,” even though Putin did so when Harris was leading the country as Vice President.
The discussion has moved backward to the 2020 election, and now Harris is claiming that Trump was “fired by 81 million Americans”–the vote total for Biden in 2020–four years ago. Harris then claims world leaders are “laughing at” Trump, but then Trump cites several world leaders back at Harris including particularly Viktor Orban of Hungary.
Trump then bashes Harris for getting zero votes but taking the nomination away from Biden, who got 14 million votes. “I’ll let you in on a little secret,” Trump says. “He [Biden] hates her [Harris].”
There is another emerging theme here where the moderators keep “fact-checking” Trump–sometimes accurately, sometimes not–live during the debate, but allowing Harris to openly and repeatedly lie nonstop from the stage. Harris continues making ugly frowning faces.

In the realm of news reporting, media bias has long been a point of contention, but recent findings from the Media Research Center’s (MRC) NewsBusters shed new light on how ABC’s “World News Tonight” exemplifies this issue. The analysis reveals a stark contrast in how the program handles Vice President Kamala Harris compared to former President Donald Trump.
According to the MRC report, an analysis of 100 campaign stories from July 21 to September 6 demonstrates a troubling trend: a 100 percent positive spin on reporting about Harris, juxtaposed with a staggering 93 percent negative spin on Trump. This discrepancy is not just a minor quirk but a clear indication of systemic bias in how political figures are portrayed on the network.
For Harris, “World News Tonight” showcased 25 positive statements with no counterbalancing criticism. This contrasts sharply with Trump’s coverage, which featured just five positive remarks amid 66 negative ones. This 93 percent negative portrayal aligns with a broader trend of disparaging coverage of Trump, while Harris is consistently highlighted in a favorable light.
The MRC’s report further underscores this imbalance by citing specific examples. During an interview in January 2017, David Muir seemed fixated on disparaging Trump’s focus on crowd size and media coverage of his inauguration speech, despite Trump’s insistence on the positive feedback he received. Muir’s persistent questioning about crowd size, even as Trump sought to discuss the substance of his address, suggests a deliberate attempt to undermine Trump’s credibility.
In contrast, during an August 2020 interview with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Muir appeared to give Biden a platform to criticize the Trump administration’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic without pressing him on specifics.
This trend is not unique to ABC News. The coverage from CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News shows similar patterns of highly positive coverage for Harris and markedly negative coverage for Trump. CBS’s reporting on Harris was found to be 94 percent positive, while NBC’s was 71 percent positive. Conversely, Trump’s coverage was negative 77 percent of the time on CBS and 86 percent on NBC.
As “World News Tonight” prepares for the upcoming presidential debate between Harris and Trump, viewers should be aware of this bias. The consistent pattern of positive reporting for Harris and negative coverage for Trump suggests a broader issue within mainstream media—a tendency to shape narratives in favor of one political side.

Kash Patel, former Department of Defense Chief of Staff and Deputy Director of National Intelligence under President Trump, believes that Kamala Harris may be installed as President before the 2024 election.
Speaking on the popular X22 Report podcast, Patel shared his belief that President Biden might step down and hand the reins of the presidency to his vice president in a carefully orchestrated political move designed to shield his embattled family.
Patel, who was promoting his new book Government Gangsters: The Deep State, the Truth, and the Battle for Our Democracy, didn’t mince words.
“It’s really on him to, I guess in this instance, work with Biden as the Commander-in-Chief, who could also, by the way, slip the Commander-in-Chief hat over to Kamala in the lead up to the election here to make her President and give her a boost politically somehow, and he could just retire from the seat,” Patel said.
Patel speculated that a deal could already be in the works, whereby Biden steps down to ensure that Harris assumes power before the election. (Read more from “‘It’s in the Works’: Kamala Harris Will Be Installed as President Before Election” HERE)

U.S. discount retail chain Big Lots filed for bankruptcy Monday as Biden-Harris era inflation continues to weaken consumer spending and push retailers out of business.
The company filed for Chapter 11 protection after posting consecutive quarterly losses since 2022 and being forced to close numerous stores, operating roughly 1,300 stores in the U.S. as of May compared with 1,425 in early 2023, according to The Wall Street Journal. Big Lots also announced it had secured over $700 million in funding to guide the company through the bankruptcy process and ensuing sales process, with an affiliate of private equity firm Nexus Capital Management expected to acquire the company.
“The actions we are taking today will enable us to move forward with new owners who believe in our business and provide financial stability,” Chief Executive Bruce Thorn said in a Monday press release.
The Chapter 11 filing follows a wave of bankruptcies in the retail industry, with 21 retailers filing for bankruptcy through July 16 — a record for the same period of any year since the pandemic began in 2020, the WSJ reported. The retail sector lost 11,100 jobs in August, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data. . .
“Like many other retail businesses, the Company [Big Lots] has been adversely affected by recent macroeconomic factors such as high inflation and interest rates that are beyond its control,” the company wrote in its press release. “The prevailing economic trends have been particularly challenging to Big Lots, as its core customers curbed their discretionary spending on the home and seasonal product categories that represent a significant portion of the Company’s revenue.” (Read more from “Massive Retailer Files for Bankruptcy as Biden-Harris Inflation Continues to Wreak Havoc on Economy” HERE)
