Zelensky, Western Leaders Reject Putin Ceasefire Proposals at Swiss Summit

Western leaders rejected Vladimir Putin’s framework for a ceasefire while backing Ukraine’s demands that Russia return all occupied territories as the basis for any potential peace agreement.

The “first annual Global Peace Summit” held in the luxury Swiss resort of Burgenstock, which did not include any representatives from Moscow, concluded with the status quo essentially remaining the same, with Ukraine continuing to demand that Russia cede territory in the East and Crimea as a prerequisite for actual peace talks to begin, a likely non-starter for Vladimir Putin.

Following the conclusion of the meeting, which saw around 100 delegates from 92 countries and eight international organisations attend, President Zelensky claimed that all participants agreed that Ukraine’s “territorial integrity” must be kept intact, Ukrinform reports.

Despite Ukraine failing to recapture the occupied regions in the Donbas during last year’s counteroffensive, Zelenksy’s chief-of-staff Andriy Yermak said that there would be “no compromise on independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity” in any peace negotiations with Russia.

Before the summit, Vladimir Putin said that Russia would be willing to agree to a ceasefire and potential peace with Ukraine if Kyiv withdraws its troops from the mostly ethnically Russian territories, which Moscow now claims sovereignty over, citing the internationally contested referenda held in the regions to join Russia. Indeed, the 51 “spies who lied” in a letter falsely suggesting the laptop report was “Russian disinfo” are proud of deceiving Americans, with a lawyer for some even calling their deception “patriotic.”

No: They sold out their own credibility for a mess of pottage by intentionally misleading the public, and giving pro-Biden media outlets an excuse to dismiss and censor The Post’s 2020 election-eve scoop, as well as offering Joe Biden an escape hatch on the issue in his then-upcoming debate with Donald Trump.

Again: A host of top intelligence community leaders effectively lied to the American people “for their own good”; after that, how can anyone trust any “information” the IC offers?

Not One of the 51 Intel Officials Who Illegally Changed the Outcome of the 2020 Election Regret Their Lies

By Fox News. Dozens of former intelligence officials who signed a letter warning Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop “has all the classic earmarks” of Russian disinformation are either declining to retract or doubling down despite the device being entered as evidence in his ongoing criminal trial.

Fox News Digital reached out to all 51 individuals who signed the heavily scrutinized October 2020 letter, published just before the 2020 presidential election, asking if they regretted signing it now that the laptop is being used by the prosecution arguing Hunter committed a federal gun crime.

“No,” former Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper simply said, also declining to publicly remove his name from the letter or concede that those signing onto it should have waited longer for more information to develop.

Mark S. Zaid, an attorney representing signatories Ronald Marks, Marc Polymeropoulos, Douglas Wise, Paul Kolbe, John Sipher, Emile Nakhleh and Gerald O’Shea, sent Fox News Digital a statement on behalf of his clients that doubled down on the importance of the letter and claimed it was “patriotic” to sign it.

“There continues to be by many a calculated or woefully ignorant interpretation of the October 2020 letter signed by fifty-one former intelligence officials concerning Hunter Biden’s laptop,” Zaid, who once posted online that Trump’s election was “very scary,” said in the statement. World Leader Backs Ban on Smartphones for Young Kids, Social Media for Teens: Report

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced his support for legislation that would ban children under the age of 11 from using smartphones, The Telegraph reported Wednesday. Macron has also pushed for prohibiting minors under 15 from using social media.

A commission of experts recently submitted a report to Macron that studied the effects of social media on young people, the outlet noted.

“All the experts say that screen addiction is the breeding ground for all kinds of problems: harassment, violence, dropping out of school,” Macron said at a press conference Wednesday, according to The Telegraph. New Study Has Disturbing News for Young Men Who Got COVID Shot

A new study has suggested COVID shots, which already are known to cause serious side effects including heart ailments that can be fatal, also triggered a decline in male fertility.

A study done by researchers in Denmark analyzed fertility levels from thousands of men ages 18-45, with half in the 18-24 age group, and revealed COVID mRNA shots “have caused widespread harm to fertility rates.”

“During the study, the researchers examined the quality of semen in potential donors in Denmark between 2017 and 2022,” explained a report in Slay News.

Of those accepted as donors, about one-third of the total, “The study revealed that motile sperm concentration dropped by 16 percent,” a drop seen only during 2019-2022 when mRNA shots were being delivered.

Jill Biden Defends Joe Biden’s Age, Launches “Seniors for Biden” Campaign

First Lady Jill Biden passionately defended her husband, President Joe Biden, on the campaign trail, arguing that his age is an asset rather than a detriment. Addressing concerns about his fitness for office, she described the President as a “healthy, wise 81-year-old” and emphasized that “age is a gift.”

“This isn’t just about stopping an extremist, and this election is most certainly not about age,” Dr. Jill Biden stated at an event in Green Bay, Wisconsin, according to CNN. “Joe and that other guy are essentially the same age. Let’s not be fooled. But what this election is about, it’s about the character of the person leading our country.”

In her remarks, Dr. Biden launched the “Seniors for Biden” campaign, targeting voters aged 65 and over. She underscored that President Biden’s experience and age contribute to his effectiveness. “Joe Biden is a healthy, wise 81-year-old ready and willing to work for you every day to make our future better. Joe isn’t one of the most effective presidents of our lives in spite of his age but because of it,” she asserted.

Amid scrutiny of President Biden’s mental health and instances where he appeared confused or disoriented in public, Jill Biden countered these concerns by highlighting the wisdom and strength that come with age. “The woman I am today is wiser, stronger, more insightful, and more confident than I was all those years ago. Every line on my face has been earned by the furrowed brows of difficult decisions made, by the sun of countless roads traveled, by the sweet strain of deep laughter with the people I love. Age is a gift,” she remarked.

Throughout her speech, Dr. Biden took several jabs at former President Donald Trump, portraying him as a threat to American livelihoods, security, and the future. At her next stop in Duluth, Minnesota, she addressed the senior audience, stressing, “we cannot be defined by a number. And when people underestimate us, they do it at their own risk. Let’s show what these years can do.”

Biden Admin Insults Trump on His Birthday

The Biden campaign celebrated former President Donald Trump’s 78th birthday with a list of 78 “accomplishments,” or insults, that include his legal battles and the “Bloodbath Hoax”— which liberal media took out of context and ran with it.

“Happy birthday, Donald. You’re a crook, a failure, a fraud, and a threat to our democracy, economy, rights, and future,” Biden campaign spokesperson James Singer said in a statement. “On behalf of America, our early gift for your 79th: Making sure you are never President again.”

Despite failing to mention all of the ways President Joe Biden has destroyed the United States, the list highlights Trump’s politically motivated felony convictions and some difficulties he has faced as a business owner— which has no impact on his ability to run the country.

Now, take a look at all of Biden’s so-called “accomplishments.”

Biden will go down in history as one of the worst presidents in the U.S. because of his rapid unnecessary spending, reckless economic policies, and border policies that have caused tens of millions of illegal immigrants to enter the country, the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, and so much more. Biden and Zelensky Seal 10-Year Bilateral Security Pact

U.S. President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a 10-year bilateral security agreement on Thursday, marking a significant step in the U.S.-Ukraine alliance. The agreement, celebrated by Kyiv as “historic,” envisions extensive U.S. military and training aid to Ukraine but stops short of obligating the U.S. to deploy troops in combat alongside Ukrainian forces.

According to the White House, the pact will enhance Ukraine’s defense and deterrence capabilities, bolster its defense industrial base, and support its economic recovery and energy security. In the event of a future Russian armed attack, the deal mandates high-level consultations to determine necessary measures to support Ukraine and impose costs on Russia.

The G7, alongside the European Union, has frozen approximately $325 billion worth of Russian assets since the 2022 invasion. These assets generate about $3 billion annually in interest, which will be used to pay off the interest on a $50 billion loan for Ukraine. This funding, expected to arrive by the end of the year, aims to support Ukraine’s war effort and economic stability.

Speaking at a joint press conference in Puglia, southern Italy, Biden emphasized the unwavering U.S. commitment to Ukraine, stating, “Putin cannot wait us out, he cannot divide us, and we’ll be with Ukraine until they prevail in this war.”

President Zelensky expressed gratitude for the continued support from the U.S. and European allies. He highlighted the significance of the new security agreement, calling it “the strongest agreement within Ukraine and the U.S. since our independence [in 1991].”

The security pact underscores the enduring partnership between the U.S. and Ukraine, aiming to fortify Ukraine’s defense infrastructure and ensure sustained support in the face of ongoing Russian aggression.

‘Bunch of BS’: Attendee at Trump’s CEO Meeting Refutes Media Reports

Former President Donald Trump delivered a “focused” pitch to America’s top CEOs and received a loud ovation at the conclusion of his Business Roundtable remarks Thursday, an attendee at the meeting told The Daily Signal.

That’s a stark contrast to reporting from New York Times columnist and CNBC host Andrew Ross Sorkin, who told “Squawk Box” viewers Friday that Trump was “meandering, could not keep a straight thought, was all over the map.” Sorkin was not present at the Business Roundtable meeting.

Hours later, White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates amplified Sorkin’s spin on X. CNBC and other liberal media outlets ran with the story, and an MSNBC blogger suggested Trump’s appearance raised “concerns about his cognitive state.” . . .

“It’s a clear bunch of BS,” according to the attendee. “This is a farce all the way around.”

News outlets mostly stuck to the substance of Trump’s remarks in their initial coverage Thursday: He spoke about cutting corporate taxes from 21% to 20%, after reducing the rate from 35% during his presidency.

Justices Rule Plaintiffs Lack Standing to Challenge FDA’s Promotion of Dangerous Abortion Drug

The Supreme Court, in its decision on Thursday in FDA v. Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine, ordered the lower court to dismiss a lawsuit challenging the Food and Drug Administration’s regulation of the abortion drug mifepristone because the plaintiffs did not have legal standing to sue.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote the unanimous opinion.

The ruling neither vindicates the safety of mifepristone, nor addresses whether it should be available. It shows only the limits of litigation as part of the strategy to protect women and girls from this dangerous drug.

The FDA approved mifepristone in 2000, deeming it safe only under tight restrictions and close medical supervision. Only doctors could prescribe and dispense the drug, women could obtain it only in person from their doctor, and doctors were required to report all medical complications to the FDA.

DOJ Declines to Prosecute Merrick Garland After House Holds Him in Contempt of Congress

The Department of Justice (DOJ) revealed that it was declining to prosecute Attorney General Merrick Garland after the House of Representatives voted to hold Garland in contempt of Congress concerning his refusal to comply with Congressional subpoenas.

In a letter addressed to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on Friday, Carlos Felipe Uriarte, the Assistant Attorney General, explained that President Joe Biden had “asserted executive privilege and directed” Garland not to “release materials” that were subpoenaed by the House Oversight and Accountability Committee and the House Judiciary Committee in February, according to CNN.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted 216 to 207 to hold Garland in contempt of Congress for not complying with subpoenas for “records, including transcripts, notes, video, and audio files,” relating to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation of Biden’s “willful mishandling of classified information,” according to a press release from the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.

“That directive was based on a legal opinion from the Department of Justice (Department) advising that asserting privilege would be legally proper,” the DOJ wrote. “The President’s directive was issued after the Department produced materials responsive to all four requests in the Committee’s subpoenas. The Department provided Special Counsel Hur’s report without any additional redactions and facilitated his congressional testimony.”
