Former Target Exec Says Pride Month ‘Misstep’ Helped Cause Massive Sales Slump

Former Target Vice Chairman Gerald Storch told Fox News the company’s Pride month stance contributed at least 20% to the sales slump it has suffered since June.

Target’s quarterly sales fell for the first time in six years, according to an earnings report released Wednesday. The company featured a Pride Month collection that included LGBT merchandise marketed to kids in May.

“Your job is to meet the needs of your customers, not to pick a fight with anybody,” Storch said Thursday. “There’s no doubt that Target took a misstep with Pride Month.”

“It’s certainly impacted them. There’s no doubt about it,” Storch said of Target’s Pride merchandise. “But I would say it’s probably 20% of the [5% decline]. Not the main part of it.”

Donald Trump Cancels Press Conference on Georgia Election Fraud Claims, Citing Attorneys’ Advice

Former President Donald Trump now says he won’t be holding a press conference next week to unveil what he claims is new evidence of fraud in the 2020 election in Georgia, citing the advice of lawyers.

No compelling evidence of the wide-scale fraud Trump alleges has emerged in the two-and-a-half years since the election. Republican officials in the state – where three recounts confirmed Trump’s loss to President Joe Biden – have long said he lost legitimately.

“Rather than releasing the Report on the Rigged & Stolen Georgia 2020 Presidential Election on Monday, my lawyers would prefer putting this, I believe, Irrefutable & Overwhelming evidence of Election Fraud & Irregularities in formal Legal Filings as we fight to dismiss this disgraceful Indictment,” he wrote on his social media site Thursday evening. Man, Woman Go Missing on Vacation in Fairbanks as Police Find Abandoned Car Near Hiking Trail

Authorities in Alaska are searching for a Tennessee man and woman who failed to check out of their Airbnb in Fairbanks, leading state troopers to find their car abandoned near a hiking trail.

The Fairbanks Police Department said in a Facebook post that Jonas Bare, 50, and Cynthia Hovsepian, 37, checked in to an Airbnb in the downtown area of the city Aug. 9, and were scheduled to check out Aug. 11 at 11 a.m., but failed to do so.

Officials say their luggage and personal belongings were still at the Airbnb, but Bare and Hovsepian were nowhere to be found. Additionally, Bare rented a dark, metallic-blue Jeep Compass Limited through Turo, which was supposed to be returned Aug. 11, but wasn’t.

The Alaska Department of Public Safety said the Jeep Compass was found at Chena Hot Springs Resort on the evening of Aug. 12, which is just over an hour’s drive from Fairbanks.

A missing person bulletin from the Alaska State Troopers says that the pair was last seen on a hiking trail near the resort Aug. 10, and adds that Hovsepian is visually impaired and sometimes uses a cane. Pilot Collapses Mid-Flight in the Bathroom, Prompting Emergency Landing of Boeing 787

A pilot collapsed in the bathroom during a commercial flight from Miami to Chile, which prompted an emergency landing in Panama City, Panama, by his co-pilots. The pilot later died.

At around 11 p.m., the pilot of a Boeing 787 allegedly collapsed from a cardiac arrest while in the bathroom after the plane took off from Miami, the New York Post reported.

The flight was bound for Santiago, Chile, on LATAM airlines but was forced to make an emergency landing in Panama with grateful passengers applauding the flight crew in videos posted online.

The situation surrounding pilot Iván Andaur, 56, was cloudy due to anonymous reports allegedly from those aboard the flight.

Trump on Georgia Indictment: Continuation of a Witch Hunt (VIDEO)

Former President Donald Trump said Thursday on Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow” that the Georgia indictment and others are all part of the same “witch hunt.”

Anchor Larry Kudlow said, “We’re here to talk about the economy, what’s gone wrong and how you can fix it, but I do think you should have a chance to talk about this crazy Georgia indictment. I know you gave an interview with Fox Digital. It was a good interview. You said you saw darkness, but you also seem to see some optimism in the potential outcome. I thought we just see what you had to say about that.”

Not Trump. Not Biden. Most Attacked Presidential Candidate Is Desantis by Far.

The 2024 presidential race is headlined by President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. Yet the most attacked presidential candidate in the 2024 election is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis – by a wide margin.

Despite Trump holding a commanding lead in the polls against DeSantis, the Republican Florida governor is the number-one target for attack ads.

DeSantis has been the target of $20.2 million in negative independent expenditures – a quarter of all independent expenditures in the 2024 election cycle, according to the Washington Examiner.

Nearly all of the negative independent expenditures against DeSantis came from the Trump-supporting super PAC Make America Great Again Inc. Just $45,712 came from other groups. The Trump super PAC spent only $3.2 million on attack ads against Biden.

Hunter Biden Misdemeanor Charges Dismissed by Judge Following Plea Deal Breakdown

Hunter Biden’s misdemeanor tax charges have been dismissed by a federal judge in Delaware, an expected move after his “sweetheart” plea deal fell through last month during his first court appearance in the case.

The Justice Department submitted a filing last week to dismiss the case ahead of a possible trial on Biden’s felony gun charge in a different district.

After the plea deal fell apart, Biden pleaded “not guilty” as federal prosecutors confirmed he is still under federal investigation. He was expected to plead guilty to the two misdemeanor tax counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax as part of the plea deal to avoid jail time on the felony gun charge.

Biden’s attorneys and Special Counsel David Weiss are still fighting over a diversion agreement concerning the felony charge that would allow him to avoid any jail time. Weiss has indicated he plans to potentially take Biden to trial in the future in either Washington, D.C., or California.

Biden Oversees Record Border Crossers in U.S. With Unresolved Asylum Claims, Outpacing Populations of 11 States

Under President Joe Biden’s watch, now more than 1.6 million border crossers are in the United States with unresolved asylum claims. The majority, based on federal data, will have their asylum claims denied.

The data, reviewed and published by Andrew Arthur of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), reveals the extent to which Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is carrying out an expansive catch and release network, releasing tens of thousands of border crossers into the U.S. interior every month — most with dubious asylum claims.

As of March, there are now more than 1.6 million border crossers in the U.S. with unresolved asylum claims, Arthur details:

That’s more applicants that residents in 11 U.S. states, and an insurmountable burden for adjudicators, as the Biden administration has effectively broken the asylum system, and seeks to hide the damage.

According to Arthur, “Biden’s DHS has released nearly every alien [Customs and Border Patrol] has encountered at the southwest border.” In hundreds of thousands of cases, border crossers in the U.S. will not have their claims adjudicated for nearly a decade. Mike Lindell Unrelenting in Demand for Safe and Secure Elections

Mike Lindell, of MyPillow fame, has been bludgeoned, bashed and bothered over his belief that the 2020 election was not above-board – that it was actually stolen from President Trump. . .

Even this week, as he was staging an event to talk again about the problems facing American elections, legacy media pointed out his project was a “flop” because a wrong video was cued, and there were … empty seats in the auditorium!

But one of the speakers at the event, billed as “Election Summit: The plan to secure our elections,” said Lindell is still charging forward, and there will be required serious action in order to restore to America honest election days.

Former Intelligence Director Slams New Biden Docs as the ‘Smoking Gun and the Bloody Knife’

Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said new documents involving Joe and Hunter Biden were a “smoking gun and the bloody knife” Thursday.

Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, demanded access to documents from then-Vice President Joe Biden’s emails Thursday in a letter to the National Archives and Records Administration. A May 26, 2016 email to one of then-Vice President Joe Biden’s pseudonyms discussed an upcoming meeting with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

“These are Joe Biden’s documents. One of the emails on the NARA website is literally titled, ’emails between vice President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden regarding Ukraine and Burisma,’” Ratcliffe told Fox News host Laura Ingraham. “I mean, that’s not a smoking gun, that’s a smoking gun and the bloody knife. I mean, that’s really significant evidence that we really shouldn’t just be finding about now.
