ISIS Makes Terrifying Threat to US, Names These States, Gives Time Frame; What Obama Said About ISIS Being Contained

By Randy DeSoto. Purported ISIS jihadists issued threats against the United States Tuesday, indicating the group has trained soldiers positioned throughout the country, ready to attack “any target we desire.”

The online post singles out controversial blogger Pamela Geller, one of the organizers of the “Draw the Prophet” Muhammad cartoon contest in Garland, Texas, calling for her death to “heal the hearts of our brothers and disperse the ones behind her.”

ISIS also claimed responsibility for the shooting, which marked the first time the terror group claimed responsibility for an attack on U.S. soil, according to the New York Daily News.

“The attack by the Islamic State in America is only the beginning of our efforts to establish a wiliyah [authority or governance] in the heart of our enemy,” the ISIS post reads.

As for Geller, the jihadists state: “To those who protect her: this will be your only warning of housing this woman and her circus show. Everyone who houses her events, gives her a platform to spill her filth are legitimate targets. We have been watching closely who was present at this event and the shooter of our brothers. . .”

ISIS drew its message to a close with an ominous threat: “We have 71 trained soldiers in 15 different states ready at our word to attack any target we desire. Out of the 71 trained soldiers 23 have signed up for missions like Sunday, We are increasing in number bithnillah [if God wills]. Of the 15 states, 5 we will name… Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, California, and Michigan…The next six months will be interesting.” (Read more from “ISIS Makes Terrifying Threat to US, Names These States, Gives Time Frame” HERE)

What Barack Obama Said About ISIS Being Contained

By Lauren Carroll. Last week, President Barack Obama said the Islamic State is “contained” — a comment that has been scrutinized in the wake of the deadly attacks in Paris that have been attributed to the terrorist group.

But has Obama’s comment been taken out of context?

ABC This Week host George Stephanopoulos presented White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes with a list of politicians criticizing Obama for his Nov. 12 remarks. Republican presidential candidate and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, for example, said Obama sees the world “as a fantasy.”

Rhodes said Obama was talking about a particular aspect of containment that in no way dismissed the possibility of terrorist attacks in the West.

“The president was responding very specifically to the geographic expansion of ISIL in Iraq and Syria,” Rhodes said, using another acronym for the group. “A year ago, we saw them on the march in Iraq and Syria, taking more and more population centers. The fact is that we have been able to stop that geographic advance and take back significant amounts of territory in both northern Iraq and northern Syria. At the same time, that does not diminish the fact that there is a threat posed by ISIL, not just in those countries but in their aspirations to project power overseas.” (Read more from “What Barack Obama Said About ISIS Being Contained” HERE)

PARIS TERRORIST ATTACK UPDATE: One Terrorist Confirmed as a Syrian Refugee

UPDATE:

As a new day dawns, and the people of Paris begin the process of healing, here is what is known. Over 120 people are confirmed dead in multiple, almost simultaneous attacks, by Islamic terrorists. The Greek government has confirmed, according to a Greek journalist on Twitter, that at least one of the terrorists was a Syrian refugee who entered the European Union through Greece.

ORIGINAL POST:

As of 5:50 PM EST, 60 people are reported dead and more than a hundred more are being held hostage in four, possibly five, simultaneous terrorist attacks in Paris, France.

CNN reports “[i]mmediate suspicion for the events in Paris falls to so-called returnees — people who have traveled to Syria and Iraq and have returned, the officials said.”

“At least six shootings took place in Paris and three explosions took place at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis late Friday, CNN affiliate BFMTV said. Two or three gunmen entered the Bataclan concert hall while opening fire on law enforcement, BFMTV reported. A source earlier told CNN there were six to eight hostage takers, citing a person they were talking to inside the venue.”

The 6-8 gunman who are holding more than a hundred people hostage at the concert all are said to have shouted “Allahu Akbar!” before opening fire on law enforcement agents and the crowd.

French President Francois Hollande is closing the French border until the terrorists are apprehended. (For more from the author of “PARIS TERRORIST ATTACK UPDATE: One Terrorist Confirmed as a Syrian Refugee” please click HERE)

China Welcomes IMF Backing to Make Yuan World Reserve Currency

China on Saturday welcomed backing from IMF experts that the yuan should be included in its reserve currencies, saying the move would strengthen the world’s financial system.

Now the world’s second-largest economy, China asked last year for the yuan to be added to the elite basket of SDR currencies, but until recently it was considered too tightly controlled to qualify.

It now looks likely the yuan will be formally admitted to the IMF’s “special drawing rights” currency basket at the end of the month, which would mark a milestone in China’s efforts to become a global economic power.

IMF chief Christine Lagarde said the fund now deemed the yuan “meets the requirements to be a ‘freely usable’ currency” — a key hurdle to joining the yen, dollar, pound and euro as a leading unit in international trade.

The yuan hit headlines in August when China’s central bank devalued the currency and said it would use a more market-oriented system to calculate the point around which the currency can trade each day. (Read more from “China Welcomes IMF Backing to Make Yuan World Reserve Currency” HERE)

Everyone Should Read What Pope Francis Said Following the Paris Attacks

Since news of the horror in Paris broke, Pope Francis has been vocal over his sadness and distraught.

Speaking during Sunday Mass the Pope condemned the Paris terror attacks, calling it “blasphemy” to use the name of God to justify “violence and hatred.”

He went on to express his shock at the sheer “barbarity” of the attacks, telling crowds in St Peter’s Square:

We wonder how can it come to the heart of man to conceive and carry out of such horrible events…

…the road of violence and hatred does not resolve humanity’s problems. And using the name of God to justify this road is blasphemy.

Apocalyptic Scenes as Paris Hit by Multiple Attacks

By AFP. Sirens blaring, blood on the roads, weeping relatives: nightmare scenes played out on the streets of Paris on Friday night as at least 120 people were killed in simultaneous attacks.

Pierre Montfort lives close to a Cambodian restaurant on Rue Bichat, where one of seven attacks took place in a night of bloodshed not seen in decades . . .

Another witness described the scene: “For a moment, we could only see the flames from the gun. We were scared, how did we know he wasn’t going to shoot the windows?” . . .

Further east, near the Bataclan concert hall and not far from the scene of another deadly attack in January on the offices of satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo, the area was on lock down.

Police say around 100 people were killed at the music venue, with reports saying armed attackers shot dead people attending a rock concert one by one before police stormed the building. (Read more from “Apocalyptic Scenes as Paris Hit by Multiple Attacks” HERE)

Syria Refugee Crisis: U.S. Opens Centers to Speed Vetting

The Obama administration is moving to increase and accelerate the number of Syrian refugees who might be admitted into the United States by opening new screening outposts in Iraq and Lebanon, administration officials told Reuters on Friday.

The move comes after President Barack Obama pledged in September to admit an additional 10,000 Syrian refugees in 2016, torn by four years of civil war and disorder.

The U.S. State Department confirmed the plans to open a refugee settlement processing centre in Erbil, Iraq, before the end of 2015, and to resume refugee processing in Lebanon in early 2016, said spokeswoman Danna Van Brandt.

The White House would not say how many additional refugees it may take in beyond the 10,000, but two senior administration officials said they are seeking ways to increase the number . . .

The State Department runs nine screening centres worldwide that serve as meeting points for refugees and U.S. Department of Homeland Security employees who have to decide who is suitable for resettlement in the United States. Muslim Terror Unleashed in France? 158 Massacred in Coordinated Attacks; ISIS Claims Responsibility

By ADAM NOSSITER and RICK GLADSTONENOV. The Paris area reeled Friday night from a shooting rampage, explosions and mass hostage-taking that President François Hollande called an unprecedented terrorist attack on France. He closed the borders and mobilized the military in a national emergency.

French television and news services quoted the police as saying around 100 people had been killed at a concert venue where hostages had been taken, and dozens more killed in apparently coordinated attacks outside the country’s main sports stadium and at least five other popular locations in the city.

Witnesses on French television said the scene at the concert was a massacre. Ambulances were seen racing back and forth in the area into the early hours of Saturday morning.

The casualties eclipsed the deaths and mayhem that roiled Paris in the Charlie Hebdo massacre and related assaults around the French capital by Islamic militant extremists less than a year ago. (Read more on the probable Muslim terror in France HERE)

Scores Dead in Paris Due to Coordinated Attacks

By Steve Almasy and Jim Bittermann. Scores of people are reported dead after what are being called terror attacks across Paris. Police early Saturday freed hostages at a concert hall where more than 100 people may have died. The attacks seemed to be planned to hit areas where many people would be gathered on a Friday night, officials said. CNN will update this story as information comes in:

• As many as 118 people were killed in the attacks in Paris, Deputy Mayor Patrick Klugman said Saturday.

• CNN affiliate BFMTV reports that SWAT units stormed the Bataclan concert hall and that the siege is over. Two attackers were killed, a police union said. Police have brought out at least 100 hostages from the concert hall, a CNN producer said; some appear to be wounded. President Francois Hollande was on his way to the concert venue, according to French news agency AFP. The interior ministry said at least 112 people died at Bataclan. Attack Claims He’s From ISIS But Obama Doesn’t Want to Speculate

By Aaron Goldstein. A majority of the deaths have taken place inside the Bataclan Concert Hall where the band The Eagles of Death Metal were playing. The two others major attacks took place outside Stade de France during a soccer match between France and Germany (which was attended by French President Francois Hollande) and outside a Cambodian restaurant called Le Petit Cambodge. The gunmen from the latter attack are still at large at this hour.

Witnesses says that two shooters were responsible for the Bataclan attacks. They chanted “Allahu Akbar!!!” and “This is for Syria!!!” before eventually being killed by French authorities. Evidently many of the concertgoers were being held hostage before they mowed down by bullets or had grenades thrown at them. One person arrested by Paris police has said that he is from Syria and that this is an ISIS operation.

Despite this information, President Obama says, “I don’t want to speculate at this poin terms of who is responsible for this.” (Read more from this story on the probable Muslim terror in France HERE)

7 Terrifying Facts About Islamic Immigration

Has America already become like Europe with respect to homegrown terror and Islamic immigration? Either way, what can we do to delay the inevitable slide into cultural suicide and crossing that point of no return many European countries have already traversed?

These are the questions we never hear asked of the presidential candidates, even though they cut to the core of the most existential security threat to our generation and future generations.

For all the talk of ISIS and Putin, nobody in the political class wants to discuss the 800-pound gorilla in the room – the widespread threat of homegrown terror due to endless immigration from the Middle East. Here are some shocking facts that the presidential candidates would be wise to address, especially in light of what we are seeing in Europe.

7 Facts to Consider:

Numbers: We have admitted approximately 1.6 million immigrants from predominantly Muslim countries from 2001-2013, double the average rate prior to 9/11.

Recent Trend: Immigration from Muslim countries is the fastest growing segment of our annual admissions. The countries with the highest percentage increase since 2010 have all been predominantly Muslim countries. Saudi Arabia (up 93 percent); Bangladesh up 37 percent); Iraq (up 36 percent); Egypt (up 25 percent); Pakistan, India, and Ethiopia (all up 24 percent); Nigeria and Ghana (both up 21 percent)

Trajectory: According to Pew Research, the Muslim population is expected to triple by 2050 – from 2.77 million to 8.1 million. It is expected to double in just 15 years and surpass the United State’s Jewish population by 2040.

Student Visas: In 2014, the State Department granted roughly 54,000 student visas to Saudi nationals, the most of any country. The Saudi student visa program has grown ten-fold since 9/11. Arabic is the fastest growing language on U.S. campuses.

Arabs Dominate Refugee Program: Arabic is the most common language spoken by refugees and that has been the case for over a decade. Since FY 2008, 98,370 refugees have been native Arabic speakers and 38,868 have been native Somali speakers. Among refugees from the Middle East, 91.3% received Food Stamps and 73.1% received Medicaid.

U.S. Hosts Largest Share of Refugees from High Risk Countries: America has admitted 135,545 refugees from Iraq alone since FY 2007. After admitting over 100,000 Somali refugees from 1993-2013, we are still bringing in up to 10,000 more each year. Of the 15,470 Somali refugees brought in since fiscal year 2014, 99.7% have been Muslim. Obama plans to bring in 15,000 more refugees from East Africa, despite the security problems we’ve been having with a segment of the Somali refugee population.

Sentiments of American Muslims: According to a poll commissioned by the Center for Security Policy, 51% of Muslims living in America believe “Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to sharia.” Twenty-nine percent agree that violence against those who insult Mohammad is acceptable and 25% agree that violence against America can be justified as part of Global Jihad. Among males under the age of 45 that number rises to 36%. Twenty-nine percent of males under 45 believe that violence against America is justified in order to make Sharia the law of the land. Just 34% of males under 45 believe that if Sharia conflicts with the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights our Founding documents should be considered supreme.

As you read through these, ask yourself this question: who ever voted for this?

The reason immigration from the Middle East presents such an existential threat is because Sharia law, at its core, is at odds with the safety and stability of America. Yet, once people immigrate here they are entitled to full due process under the law. Once they become citizens, they are entitled to all the benefits of citizens and cannot be stripped of that status unless they are found guilty of committing treason.

The job of government is to protect the existing citizenry. It’s up to the discretion of the existing citizenry whether to allow in immigrants – who to admit and who to reject. Any other generation would have exhibited enough compassion for their people and desire to see their country survive and would have been more circumspect in admitting more Sharia-adherent immigrants.

While our oceans can protect us from the physical invasion taking place in Europe, they cannot protect us from the political correctness and failed leadership of the politicians who willingly endanger our sovereignty, security, and society. US Flies B-52 Bombers Near Disputed Islands Claimed by China

The United States flew two B-52 bombers over the weekend near man-made islands constructed by China in the South China Sea, a U.S. official told The Hill, in a clear challenge to China’s territorial claims to the area.

The bombers made one pass within 12 nautical miles of the islands, the official said, in what the military refers to as a “freedom of navigation” operation.

During the operation, the Chinese military radioed the bombers, telling them to “get away from our islands.” The bombers did not comply, according to the U.S. official . . .

Pentagon spokesman Navy Cmdr. Bill Urban said two B-52s took off and returned to Guam on Nov. 8 and 9 respectively, flying a “routine mission in international airspace in the vicinity of the Spratly Island of the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea.”

Urban confirmed that the pilots received two verbal warnings from a Chinese ground controller “despite never venturing within 15 nautical miles of any feature,” he said. “Both aircraft continued their mission without incident, and at all times operated fully in accordance with international law.” (Read more from “US Flies B-52 Bombers Near Disputed Islands Claimed by China” HERE)

The Alleged Reason a Putin Associate Was ‘Murdered’ Will Startle You

The death from a ‘heart attack’ of a longtime close ally of Vladimir Putin in a Washington hotel has led to a swirl of speculation that he was murdered on Moscow’s orders after offering to help the FBI.

Mikhail Lesin, 57, was announced last weekend to have been found dead in the US capital. He was a Svengali figure for Putin, who was alleged to have menaced the Russian media into idolizing the strongman president . . .

Former Russian vice premier Alfred Kokh openly asked this week whether Lesin could have been murdered – like a new Alexander Litvinenko, a Putin foe poisoned by radioactive polonium poured into his tea in London nine years ago.

Kokh spoke amid fears in Moscow that he was ready to trade his inside knowledge of the Putin court for an end to any American investigation into the propriety of his wealth . . .

‘Maybe they were afraid that Lesin was telling the FBI something in return for suspending the investigation?’ (Read more from “The Alleged Reason a Putin Associate Was ‘Murdered’ Will Startle You” HERE)
