Archaeologists Reveal Artifacts Matching Jesus Christ’s Journey Through Israel

Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) revealed in early August the discovery of the largest quarry in Jerusalem from the Second Temple period.

Ongoing revelations from excavations in Jerusalem’s Har Hotzvim neighborhood revealed a slew of building stones within the quarry site that ranged in size but were mostly massive, according to the IAA. Researchers believe some stones were likely used as paving slabs throughout Jerusalem’s streets at the time. . .

The road was walked by Jesus Christ and His disciples and connects to the Pool of Siloam, where Jesus performed one of his miracles — returning sight to the blind, The Christian Post noted. Site excavations are ongoing. And like most of the archaeological digs in Israel, it is likely to keep revealing incredible things into the future.

Triple Threat: Italian Man’s Disturbing Diagnosis After Trip to Spain

As the WHO declares monkeypox a global threat in 2024, one story from 2022 is making headlines again.

Two years ago, an Italian man was believed to be the first patient ever diagnosed with monkeypox, COVID-19, and HIV — all at the same time.

While before 2022, it was not believed that COVID-19 and monkeypox infections could occur simultaneously, the man has apparently proven the scientists wrong.

The man reportedly first developed a fever, sore throat, and headaches nine days after returning from a trip to Spain, where he had unprotected sex with other men, and first tested positive for COVID-19 on July 2, 2022.

Within just hours of the positive test, he began developing a rash and painful blisters all over his body before heading to the ER. Haniyeh’s Son Claims Hamas Leader Was Killed by Guided Missile That Tracked His Cell Phone

Hamas head Ismail Haniyeh was killed by a guided missile that tracked his cell phone, his son Abdussalam Haniyeh told Saudi Arabia state media Al Arabiya Friday from Doha, Qatar, in an interview.

Haniyeh was killed in Tehran on July 31, and it was reported by the New York Times and independently confirmed by the Jerusalem Post that an explosive device was planted in his room months before he was killed.

The bomb was hidden in June and used cutting-edge remote technology that was also used in the killing of Iran nuclear chief Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, according to the report and the Post’s sources.

Haniyeh’s son told Al Arabiya that this was not the case. “I think the story of an explosive device is completely baseless,” he said. “There were bodyguards and other advisers sitting in a room a few meters away from his room, so it’s clear that if there were an explosive device, the whole place would be blown up,” he added.

Christians Left Petrified After Attack on Church During Riots as Media Ignores Mob Chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’

Members of the congregation of St Joseph’s church awoke earlier this week to rumours on WhatsApp of the damage spreading, along with other videos seen by GB News that appear to show attacks on Christians in London.

Panicked worshippers raced to the scene to find the pavement littered with smashed pieces of the statue, whose casing was later boarded up.

A furious member of the congregation, who spoke to GB News on condition of anonymity, said: “We had my Dad go and actually see what happened and he saw the pieces of Mother Mary on the floor. Right after I saw that, I initially thought to get this online.”

Inferring media bias, the congregant said: “I knew there wasn’t going to be news coverage on this.”

Asserting the destruction of the statue was “an attack”, the distressed worshipper said the congregation had been trying to ascertain both the identity and the motive of the culprit: “Either it’s a lone, crazy man who did this or someone who had a motive of hatred towards Christians. UN Issues Horror Nuclear Warning as Russia Evacuates Thousands and WW3 Fears Mount

The head of the nuclear safety watchdog has called for “maximum restraint” amid ongoing hostilities in Russia’s Kursk region.

The call comes amidst reports showcasing towering infernos in Kursk as Ukraine intensifies its unexpected offensive into Russian territory, now in its sixth day.

As Ukraine’s bold strike against Russia continues an effort to push back against the invasion started in 2022 alarm bells are ringing over possible escalation, especially after Ukraine allegedly sent drones flying into Belarus airspace last Friday, shot down in what was described by the Putin-endorsed regime as ‘provocation’.

In reaction to these Ukrainian movements, Moscow has broadcasted its intention to carry out a “counter-terrorism operation” across Kursk and the neighbouring districts of Bryansk and Belgorod, with Saturday witnessing supposed clips of Ukrainian soldiers marking their presence in one village.

The alarm is also being raised about the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant given the fierce combat in that sector, which has seen Russian military forces activate both airstrikes and a thermobaric weapon, an explosive device known for its blast wave and subsequent vacuum effect causing asphyxiation. This isn’t the first instance where the extended conflict has ignited concerns about nuclear facilities; the Zaporizhzhya plant located near Ukraine, now under Russian control, has indeed been a previous point of contention. A controversial episode shook Paris, where police seized a bus displaying a message against the persecution of Christians. The bus, which circulated through the streets of the French capital, was intended to draw attention to the persecution of Christians and criticise the opening of this year’s Olympic Games .

The advertising vehicle, sponsored by CitizenGO, showed images and messages aimed at raising awareness of crimes against Christians in various parts of the world. CitizenGo let it be known from its X profile that six members of its team were forced to spend the night in jail for no reason. This was not a demonstration,’ they say, ‘but a simple bus with a sign on it, namely Stop Attacks on Christians. This is not illegal,’ they conclude, ‘and the police abused it.

UK Riots: Police Admit ‘Two Tier Policing’ for Muslims

A top police officer in Birmingham has seemingly admitted that there is a “two-tier” approach from law enforcement towards different ethnicities in Britain, undercutting denials from Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

Following the emergence of “Muslim people” mobs in England as apparent counter to what’s called “far right” riots, with reports stating some carrying weapons in the Bordesley Green area of Birmingham on Monday, the police appeared to admit they have different standards for different races while trying to explain their failure to prevent the anarchic scenes.

When pressed as to why there was such little police presence during the incident, West Midlands Police Superintendent Emlyn Richards said: “We have really strong business and community relations and because we were aware through intelligence that there was a potential protest because of misinformation we had the opportunity to meet with community leaders, business leaders, prior to that event to understand the style of policing we needed to deliver.

“We knew there was going to be a large amount of people out on that counterprotest, and we knew who the vast majority of those people were. We had conversations what that was likely to look like.”

China Pulls Olympic Broadcast After Taiwanese Team Nabs Gold

Chinese state television shut down a live broadcast of the 2024 Summer Olympics Sunday after the Taiwanese team beat China in the men’s doubles.

Taiwan took home the gold medal during the men’s doubles, who play under Chinese Taipei, on Sunday with Lee Yang and Wang Chi-lin beating Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang, according to Radio Free Asia (RFA). China still took home silver in the event but state media CCTV cut the broadcast to omit the parts of the match where Taiwan were clearly winning.

The medal ceremony and audience celebrations were also axed from the airwaves, according to the report. In total, only 40 minutes of the 76-minute match were shown to Chinese state viewers.

Tensions have apparently been high during the Olympic games in Paris, with organizers allegedly targeting Taiwanese supporters who display symbols of the island’s independent statehood rather than being part of the Chinese Communist Party regime, RFA continued. U.S. Rejects Chinese No-First-Use Nuke Plan

A Chinese proposal submitted to the United Nations last month calling on all nations to adopt Beijing’s questionable “no first use” nuclear weapons policy is a nonstarter for the United States.

A State Department official told Inside the Ring that the no-first-use policy would be unacceptable given China’s massive nuclear weapons buildup and its refusal to join U.S. arms talks.

“The PRC’s rapid and opaque buildup of a more flexible nuclear arsenal calls into question the objectives behind its no-first-use proposal,” the official said, speaking on background and using the abbreviation for People’s Republic of China. “[China’s] refusal to engage in meaningful bilateral or multilateral discussions on arms control and risk reduction, including on questions about the PRC’s stated no-first-use policy, reinforces these concerns.”

The proposal was introduced in a U.N. preparatory meeting in Geneva from July 22 to Aug. 2 in advance of a major 2026 review conference on the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

In a working paper by the Chinese government, President Xi Jinping describes nuclear arms as a “sword of Damocles” threatening humanity. Israel Says Attacks Imminent From ‘Iran’s Axis of Evil’ — and Vows to ‘Exact a Heavy Price’

Israel says it expects to be imminently and simultaneously attacked by “Iran’s axis of evil” — Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen and Iranian military forces.

Iran allegedly told Arab leaders Saturday that it doesn’t care if the attacks cause a wider-spread war.

And Israeli leaders Sunday all but assured that would happen if Iran and its terror proxies launch their expected multifront assaults.

“We are striking every one of its arms with great force,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed during a cabinet meeting Sunday, referring to the Mideast “axis of evil,” according to Bloomberg News.
