Hamas Official Forewarns of Impending Larger-Scale Terrorist Attack in Recent Interview

A top Hamas official suggested during an interview with Lebanese media this week that a terrorist attack larger than Hamas’ October 7 massacre was in the works and would happen in the not so distant future.

Osama Hamdan, who is in the terrorist organization’s Political Bureau, said on Wednesday that the terrorist organization had no regrets over murdering 1,200 Israelis and that a “war of liberation” was coming.

In the interview, which was transcribed by the Middle East Media Research Institute, the interviewer asked Hamdan, “If you could go back in time to October 6, would you still do what you did on October 7?” . . .

“You said that if the Israelis would make new arrests, after all the prisoners are released from [Israeli] prisons, you would carry out another operation,” the interviewer said. “So can you promise another October 7?”

“I can promise that a war of liberation is coming, not just another October 7,” Hamdan responded. (Read more from “Hamas Official Forewarns of Impending Larger-Scale Terrorist Attack in Recent Interview” HERE)

Iranian Drone Harasses U.S. Aircraft Carrier in Persian Gulf, Raising Tensions

An Iranian drone harassed a U.S. air craft carrier in the Persian Gulf on Tuesday, according to a U.S. defense official.

The incident comes after Iranian terrorist proxies in the region have hijacked and attempted to hijack cargo ships and tankers in recent weeks that are tied to Israel. . .

One video that circulated on social media this week purported to show footage from an Iranian drone that was harassing the same carrier strike group.

The footage appears to correlate with statements from an official in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) who said that the drone’s presence interfered with U.S. helicopter operations, according to Iran’s state-run Farsnews Agency.

Satellite imagery from this week showed the carrier strike group only 62 miles away from Iran, a clear sign from the U.S. that Iran should not escalate tensions in the region. (Read more from “Iranian Drone Harasses U.S. Aircraft Carrier in Persian Gulf, Raising Tensions” HERE)

NATO Reaffirms Commitment to Ukraine’s Membership; Report: Russia Offered to End War If Ukraine Dropped NATO Bid

In a recent announcement, the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), Jens Stoltenberg, reiterated the alliance’s unwavering support for Ukraine’s long-term membership, affirming that all NATO members agree on Ukraine eventually joining. However, Stoltenberg emphasized that this accession would occur post-war and only after significant reforms have been implemented.

Stoltenberg highlighted the forthcoming NATO-Ukraine Council meeting, where discussions would center on identifying and prioritizing key reforms necessary for Ukraine to meet the criteria for NATO membership. He cited recent support measures, such as the air defense coalition, substantial funding, and the inauguration of the F-16 training center in Romania for Ukrainian pilots, as demonstrations of NATO’s commitment to Ukraine’s security.

While underscoring NATO’s consensus on Ukraine’s eventual membership, Stoltenberg clarified that full accession would be contingent on Ukraine’s resolution of the ongoing conflict and the implementation of critical reforms. He emphasized the need for “full interoperability” between Ukrainian and NATO forces, based on NATO doctrines and training procedures.

Addressing concerns about admitting a nation currently at war, Stoltenberg stated, “All Allies agree that in the midst of a war full membership is not possible.” Nonetheless, he expressed the alliance’s commitment to exploring ways to bring Ukraine and NATO closer together during this challenging period.

This affirmation echoes previous statements, despite past criticism from within the alliance. Hungary’s Viktor Orban and Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz have expressed reservations, with Orban questioning the readiness of all NATO members to accept Ukraine and Scholz advocating caution until after the conflict, citing unmet criteria and conditions.

Despite these reservations, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asserted in September that Ukraine considers itself “a de facto member of NATO.” The cautious approach extends beyond NATO, with European leaders expressing a similar sentiment regarding Ukraine’s potential European Union membership, emphasizing the need for reforms and the resolution of internal challenges before formal action is taken.

Russia Offered to End War if Ukraine Dropped NATO Bid: Kyiv Official

By Newsweek. Russia offered to end Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine in the spring of 2022 if Ukraine agreed to drop its ambitions to join NATO, according to the head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s political party, who was present at peace negotiations.

David Arakhamia, leader of the Ukrainian political party Servant of the People, revealed part of the purported deal during an interview with Ukrainian journalist Natalia Moseychuk on Friday. The Kyiv official previously led the Ukrainian delegation that held peace talks with senior Russian officials in the months following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Both sides of the war have laid out conditions for a ceasefire in the conflict in recent months, but many war analysts doubt neither Zelensky nor Russian President Vladimir Putin currently has a serious urge to end the 21-month-long fight.

According to Arakhamia, however, there was a drafted peace agreement between Ukrainian and Russian negotiators early in the war. Arakhamia said that Moscow pledged to end the fighting if Ukraine’s agreed to remain neutral and forego its bid to join NATO. Hamas Hostages’ Whereabouts Unknown, Complicating Negotiations for Release

The Argentine news outlet Infobae reported on Sunday, citing “sources familiar with the details of the [hostage] agreement,” that the jihadist terrorist organization Hamas does not know the location of some of the estimated 240 people abducted from Israel on October 7, complicating the group’s ability to negotiate for their release.

The Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani appeared to verify that report on Sunday, telling the Financial Times that some of the hostages were “missing” and that Hamas would allegedly use the time bought in a truce Israel agreed to in exchange for the release of hostages to find others they have allegedly lost. Qatar allows Hamas, a genocidal jihadist terror organization, to maintain its “political” operations base in Doha and has been helping Hamas communicate with the government of Israel and its allies.

The whereabouts of the hostages not in direct Hamas custody remain unknown. Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), a rival terrorist group, reportedly claimed to be keeping 30 of those hostages imprisoned. Some reports have suggested that organized crime syndicates in Gaza, which Hamas controls, may be keeping individual hostages or families in captivity independent of direct Hamas control.

Hamas took its hostages on October 7 as part of a massive, unprecedented terror assault it has dubbed the “al-Aqsa flood.” On that day, the jihadists invaded Israel and began indiscriminately killing civilians, raiding residential communities and executing entire families in door-to-door attacks. The terrorists filmed themselves abducting people, killing them, torturing them, desecrating the bodies of victims, and posted many of the videos to social media, including the profiles of their victims. Eyewitness and forensic evidence indicate that the terrorists engaged in multiple acts of gang rape, including at least one killing in which a woman was shot in the head in the middle of a gang rape. Authorities have also found evidence of Hamas terrorists killing and mutilating children, including decapitated and charred bodies of babies. Israeli officials estimate the death toll of the “al-Aqsa flood” to be upwards of 1,200 people. (Read more from “Hamas Hostages’ Whereabouts Unknown, Complicating Negotiations for Release” HERE)

Xi Jinping Tells Chinese Women to Get Married and Make Babies

Frustrated by his inability to counter China’s rapidly declining birthrate, dictator Xi Jinping abandoned his rhetorical commitment to “gender equality” at a meeting with the All-China Women’s Federation and told women to start getting married and having babies to secure China’s future.

“It is necessary to guide women to play their unique role in carrying forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and establishing good family virtues to create a new trend of family civilization,” Xi said at the meeting in early November.

“Only with harmonious families, good family education, and correct family traditions can children be raised and society develop in a healthy manner,” he contended.

Xi said his regime would “actively cultivate a new culture of marriage and child-bearing,” including more enthusiastic “guidance” for young people who do not grasp that marrying young and raising large families is part of their duty to the nation.

To that end, Xi said the Chinese Communist Party will seek to “organize and motivate women to contribute their strength to Chinese modernization,” by which he meant motivating them to give birth to the generation that will do the modernizing. Israeli Hostages Released in Ceasefire: Families Reunited After Ordeal With Hamas Terrorists

A third group of Israeli hostages arrived back in Israel on Sunday evening as part of a temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas terrorists.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that based on information from the Red Cross, which has acted as an intermediary between the IDF and the terrorists, the group of hostages that were released included 14 Israelis and three foreign nationals.

The Times of Israel reported that the group of released Israeli hostages included Abigail Idan, 4; Hagar Brodetz, 40, and her children Ofri, 10, Yuval, 9, and Oriya, 4; Chen Almog Goldstein, 48, and Agam, 17, Gal, 11 and Tal, 9; Alma Avraham, 84; Aviva Siegel, 64; sisters Ela, 8 and Dafna, 15, and Elyakim; Roni Krivoi, 25, a dual Russian-Israeli national.

U.S. Navy Foils Terrorist Hijacking Attempt of Israeli-Owned Tanker

In a dramatic turn of events, a U.S. Navy destroyer, the USS Mason, successfully thwarted a terrorist hijacking attempt on the Liberian-flagged Central Park chemical tanker, which is owned by Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac Group. The incident occurred in the Gulf of Aden, where five armed gunmen attempted to seize control of the vessel.

Upon responding to a distress call from the tanker’s crew, the USS Mason intercepted the attempted hijacking, pursuing the ship towards Yemen. According to Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin, warning shots were fired by the U.S. Navy personnel during the pursuit, leading to the apprehension of the five armed hijackers. The terrorists had reportedly boarded the tanker from a skiff, attempting to break into the ship’s Citadel (safe room) where the crew had secured themselves.

This marks the second hijacking attempt on the same vessel in recent days, with Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists previously making a similar effort. In this latest incident, a Japanese destroyer provided assistance to the USS Mason during the interdiction, while two Chinese Navy warships in the vicinity did not offer support.

Despite the hijackers’ attempt to gain access to the safe room, the crew remained secure, prompting the terrorists to exit the vessel and attempt an escape back to Yemen. The U.S. Navy personnel, along with the support of a U.S. helicopter gunship, successfully apprehended the hijackers, who are currently under questioning by the U.S. military under counter-piracy authorities. The incident highlights the ongoing security challenges faced by maritime vessels in the strategically vital waters of the Gulf of Aden.

Polls Say Anti-Islam and Far-Right Populist Heading For Shocking Win in Netherlands

The far-right, anti-Islam populist Geert Wilders was headed for a massive parliamentary election victory Wednesday in one of the biggest political upsets in Dutch politics since World War II, and one that is bound to send shockwaves through Europe.

That puts him in line to lead talks to form a new ruling coalition and possibly become the country’s first hard-right prime minister at a time of political upheaval through much of the continent.

The exit poll published by national broadcaster NOS said that Wilders’ Party for Freedom won 35 seats in the 150-seat lower house of parliament, more than double the 17 he won at the last election. Final official results were only expected on Thursday. (Read more from “Polls Say Anti-Islam and Far-Right Populist Heading For Shocking Win in Netherlands” HERE)

Israeli Intelligence Minister Proposes Controversial Plan to Resettle Gazans Worldwide

Israeli Intelligence Minister Gila Gamliel has penned an op-ed in the Jerusalem Post advocating for a global refugee resettlement initiative aimed at relocating approximately 2 million Gazans outside of Israel. In her article, Gamliel asserts that Gaza, with its population that includes Hamas supporters, is a breeding ground for extremism, and a new approach is necessary to ensure the safety of Israeli communities.

The proposed scheme envisions moving Gazans to various countries around the world, with the expectation that once they are gone, Israeli communities can return to their homes and live securely. Gamliel frames this as a “win-win” solution, benefiting both Israelis and Gazans who would potentially live in wealthier countries.

However, Charlie Kirk raises concerns about the implications for the international community, especially cities like Paris, London, or Detroit, which would be expected to host individuals with diverse political affiliations, including those sympathetic to Hamas. His tweet criticizes Gamliel for attempting to shift the burden of dealing with Hamas sympathizers onto other nations, characterizing it as an attempt to make these individuals “our problem instead.”

Charlie Kirk expresses skepticism about the proclaimed benefits of the plan, emphasizing that it may strain the support for Israel among Western conservatives if such ideas persist. His remarks sparked controversy and discussions about the feasibility, ethics, and potential consequences of such a large-scale resettlement initiative.

Israeli Soldiers Given Specific Instructions for Hostage Transfer, Addressing Children’s Trauma

Israeli soldiers have been given explicit instructions ahead of the planned transfer of hostages from Gaza back to Israel — particularly relating to the children who have been held by Hamas terrorists since the massacre that those same terrorists carried out on October 7.

According to an X post shared by geopolitical and security analyst Michael Horowitz, the Israeli soldiers were specifically told that until they had all been brought back to Israel safely, no one was to answer any questions the children might have about their parents — primarily because many of those children lost either one or both of their parents that day, and may or may not be aware of that.

“Israeli soldiers who are due to escort the children hostages to be released in the agreement with #Hamas have received specific instruction drafted by the Welfare Ministry to deal with the psychological trauma they suffered,” Horowitz posted. “Among these instructions is one not to respond to their questions about their parents and wait until they are in Israel. This is because many of them have lost at least one of their parents, if not both.”
