“Dilbert” creator Scott Adams announced on his podcast “Real Coffee With Scott Adams” that he plans on converting to Christianity before he passes away.

Adams announced that he has prostate cancer on his podcast on May 15, 2025, a condition he said he has “essentially zero” chance of recovering from on his Thursday show. Adams said on his Sunday that his Christian friends and followers have implored him to convert to Christianity before he passes away, and that despite being a non-believer for a long time, he plans to do so.

“I have not been a believer,” said Adams. “But I also have respect for any Christian who goes out of their way to try to convert me, because how would I believe you wouldn’t believe your own religion if you’re not trying to convert me?”

The cartoonist added that “out of great respect” for the people who have tried to convince him to become a Christian, that he plans on converting. As for any skepticism he may still have, he said it will be “instantly answered” if he wakes up in heaven.

“I’m now convinced that the risk-reward is completely smart,” Adams said to his Christian listeners. “If it turns out that there’s nothing there, I’ve lost nothing, but I’ve respected your wishes and I like doing that. Trans Gymgoer Caught ‘Masturbating’ in Women’s Bathroom at California Planet Fitness

Disturbing viral video shows the moment a transgender gymgoer appears to be masturbating in a stall inside the women’s bathroom at a Planet Fitness in California.

Planet Fitness patron, Grace Hutson, claims she encountered the ordeal while she was using the female restroom at the gym’s Concord location, just outside San Francisco, last May — but the footage only exploded online over the weekend.

The clip, which she originally posted on TikTok, showed the shadow of an unidentified person appearing to perform the sex act on themselves.

“At the end of the day, whether you’re transgender or not, you should not be stroking your s–t in the women’s bathroom,” Huston said in a TikTok video posted late Sunday after the footage started going viral. . .

The young woman alerted the front desk staff at the time, but the employees didn’t know how to handle the situation, she said.

Parents faced dozens of challenges in 2025, from school policies hiding details about their own kids from them to technology taking over the classroom. Here are some of the biggest parental rights fights of the year, and a look at what parents can expect next in 2026.

American Parents Coalition (APC) is releasing a new guide for parents as they prepare to once more take on the bad policies still pervading schools as we head into 2026. In the organization’s latest Lookout, first shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation, the parental advocacy group outlines 2025’s biggest wins for parents — and what they should keep an eye on next year.

Since taking office, President Donald Trump has signed several executive orders protecting children, including Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling, Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports and Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation. These orders have helped safeguard against radical school policies to some extent, though many administrators and state officials have continued to defy federal directives, instead finding new ways to continue their radical policies or just maintaining them openly.

Notably, the Department of Justice (DOJ) sued Maine after Democrat Gov. Janet Mills refused several requests to comply with the president’s ban on men competing in women’s sports. The DCNF has also exclusively reported on several universities and school districts facing federal complaints after secretly admitting they will not follow the directives.

In response to such offenses, APC launched an interactive map logging these incidents for parents to stay up-to-date as battles over implementation, and refusals to comply, continue in 2026.

Parents won a major victory at the Supreme Court in June. Mahmoud v. Taylor secured the right to opt children out of lessons with content that is inappropriate or conflicts with a family’s religious beliefs.

Despite the win, parents still face a powerful opponent: teachers unions. While these groups claim to have kids’ best interests at heart, in reality, they more often try to shield classroom activities from parents. Some of these unions have sued the Trump administration in order to keep left-wing ideology embedded in schools and prevent the dismantling of the education department. Teen Shoots Parents, Killing Mother, in Day-After-Christmas Horror

A teen allegedly shot both of his parents, killing his mother, outside their Pennsylvania home the day after Christmas, according to authorities.

Jarrod Noll, 18, was nabbed in West Virginia on Saturday after authorities launched a massive manhunt with search dogs after the attack in the town of New Freeport on Friday afternoon, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Cops were called to the home, just north of the West Virginia border, and discovered Noll’s mother and father with gunshot wounds, police said.

Noll’s mother, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead, cops said.

His father was taken to a hospital and has since been released in stable condition, authorities added.

Report: Dept. of Veterans Affairs Orders End to Abortions, Abortion Counseling at Facilities

In a sweeping reversal to the Biden administration’s pro-abortion agenda, the Trump administration has barred the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from aborting the unborn babies of veterans and their dependents.

The restriction follows a memo from Joshua Craddock, deputy assistant attorney general of the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) on December 18 to the VA stating that the department is not allowed to perform abortions under any provision of the law, the Hill reported.

The memo revoked a Biden-era OLC opinion that allowed the VA to provide abortions and abortion counseling to pregnant veterans and their dependents. The pro-abortion Biden administration promulgated a rule in September 2022 allowing veterans and covered dependents to obtain taxpayer-funded abortions in cases of rape and incest and to protect the life or health of the pregnant woman, as well as abortion counseling. The Biden administration issued the rule in response to the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade, a 1973 ruling that had invented a constitutional right to abortion.

Screenshots purportedly obtained by the outlet of a separate internal VA memo, dated December 22 and sent to the leaders of the department’s 18 regional integrated service networks, states that the agency “must comply” with the OLC’s memo and that the VA will no longer provide abortions or abortion counseling “effective immediately.”

He “keeps track of the number of days he spends in Manhattan through an app on his phone, meticulously ensuring he does not surpass 183 days — the threshold at which individuals are required to pay city taxes,” the Financial Times writes. A holiday trip would’ve put him over that threshold.

Klein advises “some of the country’s wealthiest residents.” He reportedly told the Financial Times that “some of his clients fly into New Jersey and wait on one side of the George Washington Bridge, which connects to New York, until just after midnight to avoid triggering another day in the state.”

Christian Burgos, the director of tax services at Pollack and Brant, offered some unpleasant truth.

“If you’re not careful with how much time you’re spending in a particular jurisdiction throughout the year, once you’re reaching the latter half of the tax year you really have to be more mindful,” Burgos told the outlet. “There might be birthdays or family events that you have to skip out on. A Louisiana factory chief proved to be a real-life Santa Claus — giving each of his 540 full-time employees six-figure bonus checks totaling $240 million.

The generous gesture came after the benevolent boss sold the company for $1.7 billion.

Graham Walker, the now-former CEO of Fibrebond, told The Wall Street Journal that he would not agree to sell his company if prospective buyer Eaton did not earmark 15% of the proceeds for its employees — even though none of them owned stock.

The deal, which was completed earlier this year when Eaton acquired Fibrebond, triggered payouts to 540 full-time workers, averaging about $443,000 per worker spread over five years.

Brother Of Trans Woman Who Murdered Parents Blames ‘Reckless’ Prescription Of Sex Change Hormones

A Utah woman received two consecutive sentences of 25 years to life in prison Friday after pleading guilty to murdering her parents, as her brother blamed what he called the reckless prescription of sex-change hormones.

Mia Bailey received two consecutive sentences of 25 years to life for the murders of her parents, Joseph Bailey, 70, and Gail Bailey, 69, according to a news release from the Washington County Attorney’s Office. The court added up to five years for aggravated assault stemming from the same attack.

Prosecutors said Bailey broke into her parents’ Washington City home on June 18, 2024, and shot her father twice in the head and her mother four times. After killing her parents, Bailey fired shots through her brother’s bedroom door while he and his wife barricaded themselves inside, according to prior reporting by KUTV.

Police arrested Bailey the following day and charged her with 11 felony counts tied to the double homicide and the attempted killing of her brother. She later pleaded guilty in November, admitting in court documents that she intentionally shot and killed her parents, The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

Defense attorney Ryan Stout urged the judge to impose concurrent sentences, arguing Bailey had no criminal record and suffered from severe mental illness that left her functioning at the level of a young child. Court records listed diagnoses that included autism, psychosis, schizophrenia, ADHD and OCD, with possible bipolar disorder, The Salt Lake Tribune stated. First Victim in Brown University Shooting ID’d

By New York Post. The first victim of the deadly school shooting at Brown University has been identified as a sophomore student and vice president of the school’s college Republican club, Ella Cook, according to her Alabama parish and a former classmate.

The news of Cook’s death was shared during a service at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in her hometown of Birmingham.

Cook was one of the church’s parishioners who fostered a deep engagement with the community through her frequent service at the church, a priest said during the Mass.

He described her as a “tremendous bright light” who brought peace and faith to all those around her, according to a livestream shared on the parish’s Facebook.

Police release man detained earlier in connection with deadly Brown University shooting, mayor says

By CNN. The person of interest detained in connection with Saturday’s deadly shooting at Brown University has been released, Providence Mayor Brett Smiley said.

Police are releasing the man who had been detained earlier Sunday because evidence “now points in a different direction,” Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha said.

The shooting left two students dead and nine others injured at the Ivy League school in Providence. A vigil and community event were held at a local park Sunday evening, where the city’s mayor said residents could come together and “shine a little bit of light.” Classes and exams have been canceled at Brown as the campus reels from the shooting. Scientists Find Key Brain Nutrient From Everyday Foods Lacking in People With Anxiety

Millions of Americans battle chronic anxiety — but new research claiming a missing brain nutrient may be partly to blame is already drawing skepticism from experts who say the findings are far from conclusive.

Using a non-invasive MRI-based technique that measures brain chemicals, researchers at UC Davis Health in California looked at data from 25 previous studies, comparing 370 people with anxiety disorders to 342 without anxiety.

They found that, across the combined studies, individuals with certain anxiety disorders showed an average of about 8% lower choline levels in brain regions that help regulate thinking and emotions.

“An 8% lower amount doesn’t sound like that much, but in the brain, it’s significant,” said senior study author Richard Maddock, a medical doctor and research professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, Davis.

Choline — found in foods such as eggs, beef, chicken, fish and soybeans — plays a key role in memory, mood and cell health, according to experts.

The study authors propose that heightened stress responses in anxiety disorders may increase the brain’s demand for choline, gradually lowering levels of the nutrient — especially in regions that help regulate stress and reduce the threat response, according to the published research.
