Report: Decorated Police Officer Dies After Intentionally Veering in Front of Out-of-Control Driver — to Protect Others

A Tampa police officer is dead after he intentionally veered into the path of what appeared to be an out-of-control driver, according to reports.

Witnesses say that the officer, Master Patrol Officer Jesse Madsen, swerved into the path of a motorist who was erratically driving southbound down the northbound lanes of I-275 on Tuesday, WFLA-TV reported. . .

Investigators say that Madsen — who won seven life-saving awards during his career as an officer of the law — intentionally swerved into the path of an oncoming vehicle in order to protect other motorists from imminent danger.

The driver of the other vehicle, 25-year-old Joshua Daniel Montague of Golden, Colorado, died as a result of the crash. It remains unknown at the time of this reporting why Montague was traveling southbound at a “high rate of speed” and “swerving through the lanes” of the interstate’s northbound side.

Black Lives Matter Wants People to Cancel the Royal Family

Black Lives Matter co-founder Opal Tometi is calling for a boycott of the Royal Family, alleging that they don’t value black lives.

The boycott comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey that somebody in the Royal Family had “concerns and conversations” about how dark her child’s skin color might be after she was first pregnant with her son Archie.

Tometi told TMZ that Meghan’s allegations that at least one member of the Royal Family expressed “concerns” about Archie’s skin color makes it clear to her that the entire Royal Family does not value black lives.

Although no one knows who the alleged Royal Family member is, Tometi says that people should nonetheless start believing black women when they speak up.

“Regardless of who it was, Opal says Meghan and Harry’s experience shows just how problematic the Royal Family has been for quite some time, and the world doesn’t need to have institutions that treat Black people as if they don’t matter,” TMZ reports. Christian Adoption Agency Surrendered ‘Before Battle Began’

A Christian adoption agency’s decision to allow same-sex couples to adopt children is a surrender to the sexual revolution, charged Albert Mohler Jr., the president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Mohler was responding on his website to the announcement by Bethany Christian Services, one of the nation’s largest evangelical agencies involved in adoption and foster care.

“Bethany Christian Services has now surrendered to the sexual revolution and the attempts to reshape the family into a new form that violates God’s good design,” Mohler wrote. “This is a historic moment that, to be fair, we have seen coming.”

He noted that in 2018, BCS “altered its local policies in the city of Philadelphia when the city authorities put pressure on Christian-based adoption agencies to provide services for same-sex couples. BCS capitulated then and now they have submitted to the demands of the LGBTQ movement at the national level. The surrender is total and unconditional.”

Bethany’s “capitulation is all the more astounding given the fact that the Supreme Court will rule in coming months on the Philadelphia case,” he said. “There is reason to believe that the Supreme Court will rule in favor the Christian charities and adoption agencies in the city, but BCS went ahead and changed their policies. Burger King: ‘Women Belong in the Kitchen’

Burger King UK deliberately stirred controversy by tweeting that “Women belong in the kitchen” — before pulling a woke bait-and-switch.

“Women belong in the kitchen,” the fast-food chain posted on its official UK account, as if in imitation of a typical left-liberal caricature of an unreconstructed social conservative.

“If they want to, of course. Yet only 20 per cent of chefs are women. We’re on a mission to change the gender ratio in the restaurant industry by empowering female employees with the opportunity to pursue a culinary career,” they continued in a subsequent tweet, signed with the hashtag #IWD — for International Women’s Day, a communist holiday institutionalised by Bolshevik dictator Vladimir Lenin and popularised by the United Nations and woke corporations in the West.

“We are proud to be launching a new scholarship programme which will help female Burger King employees pursue their culinary dreams!” BK concluded — but the message did not land for everybody.

Evangelicals for Biden ‘Feel Used and Betrayed’ by Biden Fulfilling His Radical Abortion Promises

In an open letter released Sunday, Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden urged him to “honor his commitment” and include the Hyde Amendment in Democrats’ $1.9 trillion COVID-19 spending package, writing “we feel used and betrayed.” The letter states:

We are very disappointed about the COVID-19 relief package’s exclusion of the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding bipartisan policy that prevents taxpayer funding for abortion. We’re even more upset that the Biden administration is supporting this bill. As pro-life leaders in the evangelical community, we publicly supported President Biden’s candidacy with the understanding that there would be engagement [with] us on the issue of abortion and particularly the Hyde Amendment …We feel used and betrayed and have no intention of simply watching these kinds of efforts happen from the sidelines.

. . .During an Atlanta Democratic National Convention Committee event in 2019, Biden announced that he no longer supported the Hyde Amendment—which has been included on a bipartisan basis in federal spending bills since 1976. The Hyde Amendment restricts federal taxpayer dollars from funding many abortions.

Ebay Cancels Dr. Seuss Books as ‘Offensive Material’

The result of canceling six books by the iconic Dr. Seuss because they were deemed racist or insensitive was predictable, with copies selling for as much as $630 on eBay. . .

That’s when eBay banned the books, citing the company’s “offensive materials” policy.

Earlier this week, Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced it would stop publishing “If I Ran the Zoo,” “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!” and “The Cat’s Quizzer.”

In addition, Biden removed any reference to Dr. Seuss from his proclamation Tuesday on “Read Across America Day,” which was created on the birthday of the late Dr. Seuss, whose real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel.

150 Missing Children Rescued During Operation Volunteer Strong

A monthslong, multi-agency operation has recovered 150 missing and endangered children in Tennessee. The recovery of the rescued children was announced Wednesday during a news conference at the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation headquarters in Nashville.

“Operation Volunteer Strong” was a joint mission by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Department of Children’s Service, and the U.S. Marshals Service that first started last fall. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provided research and analytical support for the operation.

After months of planning, the teams began pursuing leads on 240 missing children on Jan. 4 in three regions: East, Middle, and West Tennessee. Eight of the missing children from Tennessee were found in other states.

Law enforcement recovered 150 juveniles, ranging in age from 3 to 17. One of the kids was rescued during an active kidnapping investigation, which resulted in the arrest of a suspect.

Five of the recovered children were identified as possible human trafficking victims, which sparked investigations by law enforcement. U.S. Marshal Denny W. Dozens of Spontaneous Miscarriages, Stillbirths Occurring After COVID-19 Vaccination

Thirty-four cases of pregnant women experiencing spontaneous miscarriages or stillbirths after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine have been submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

VAERS is a passive reporting system that allows people to submit a report of an adverse event after vaccination and is run by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Research funded by the CDC has shown that fewer than 1 percent of reactions from vaccinations are being reported on VAERS. . .

In one case, a physician in Tennessee, at five weeks pregnant, suffered a miscarriage 13 days after being immunized with a Pfizer vaccine. The 31-year-old woman had no known allergies or medical history.

While a 33-year-old Indiana nurse in her third week of pregnancy had a miscarriage five days after receiving her second Pfizer vaccine. She also reported that the adverse event caused a birth defect. . .

In Michigan, a 35-year-old woman who was 28 weeks and five days pregnant said that the baby’s movements decreased two days after her first Pfizer vaccine in December 2020. The woman delivered a stillborn baby weighing two pounds and seven ounces at 29 weeks. She was being closely monitored for an umbilical cord abnormality called velamentous cord insertion. As you might expect, the six Dr. Seuss children’s books that are now out of print due to complaints about racist imagery in their pages are now collectors’ items. . .

The titles in question are “If I Ran the Zoo,” “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!” and “The Cat’s Quizzer.” . . .

“If I Ran the Zoo” in hardback was going for $995 at its lowest price on Amazon; no paperbacks were available. On eBay, a decent-looking hardback copy was going for a low “buy it now” price of $200 — all the way up to $9,999. (There also was a copy going for $1 million, believe it or not.)

“And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street” in hardback was going for $1,399 at its lowest price on Amazon; no paperbacks were available. On eBay, a decent-looking hardback was going for a low “buy it now” price of $150, while the most expensive “buy it now” hardback was $100,000.

How about “McElligot’s Pool”? Well, the lowest price for a collectible hardback was $999 on Amazon (while the paperback was only $349.99). Miracle: Baby Boy Comes ‘Back to Life’ After Being Pronounced Dead

. . .Kingston [Lane] was born in April 2020 at only 24 weeks and weighed one pound, seven ounces. He spent the first seven months of his life in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at a hospital in Louisville. . .

On Saturday, [mother] Brittany [Lane] noticed Kingston was sick and thought it may be stomach irritation. However, on Sunday, she says he looked lifeless and was taken to the emergency room at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

Brittany says his heart was also giving out. Medical teams did ten rounds of chest compressions.

“They were on the ninth one, and they were like, ‘Mrs. Lane, one more time and that’s all we can do for him,’” Lane recalled. “He was completely blue, no pulse, no heartbeat and cold. Super cold.” . . .
