Visa, Mastercard Reviewing Relationship With Pornhub Following Column Alleging the Site Is ‘Infested With Rape Videos’

Major credit card companies are reviewing their relationship with Pornhub following the publication of a New York Times column alleging that Pornhub is “infested with rape videos.”

“We are aware of the allegations, and we are actively engaging with the relevant financial institutions to investigate, in addition to engaging directly with the site’s parent company, MindGeek,” Visa told the Associated Press Sunday, noting that Pornhub will be prohibited from accepting any Visa payments if the massive pornography company is found to be violating the law.

Mastercard also promised to take “immediate action” if Pulitzer prize winning opinion columnist Nicholas Kristof‘s allegations are true, telling the AP: “We are investigating the allegations raised in the New York Times and are working with MindGeek’s bank to understand this situation.”

Kristof accused Pornhub of monteizing “child rapes, revenge pornography, spy cam videos of women showering, racist and misogynist content, and footage of women being asphyxiated in plastic bags,” in a Friday New York Times op-ed. . .

“A search for ‘girls under18′ (no space) or ’14yo’ leads in each case to more than 100,000 videos,” Kristof wrote. “Most aren’t of children being assaulted, but too many are.” (Read more from “Visa, Mastercard Reviewing Relationship With Pornhub Following Column Alleging the Site Is ‘Infested With Rape Videos’” HERE)

Survey Finds As American Psyche Reaches New Low, Frequent Churchgoers Fare Better Than The Rest

American mental health ratings reached their lowest point in two decades this year. Only 34 percent of U.S. adults assess their emotional well-being as “excellent” compared to 43 percent who reported the same in 2019.

The nine-point drop comes as the American self-assessment survey conducted by Gallup showed ratings relatively stable since the polling group launched its November Health and Healthcare series in 2001.

According to Gallup, drops in mental health ratings were most prominent among Republicans, where 41 percent reported being in “excellent” condition in the Nov. 5-19 poll, a 15-point drop from 56 percent who said the same a year ago. Republicans however, still held a higher-rate of mental well-being than Democrats, 29 percent of whom rated their mental health as “excellent.”

Those with the greatest ratings of mental well-being were attendants of weekly religious services, who were the only sub-group to report a rise in their mental health from 42 percent to 46 percent reporting their psyche of being in excellent shape.

The Gallup poll surveying 1,018 Americans over the age of 18 corroborates research suggesting that a higher importance of religious spirituality in one’s life can abate the symptoms of mental distress exacerbated by isolation and uncertainty imposed pandemic lockdowns. Teachers Union: Reopening Schools ‘Rooted in Sexism, Racism, Misogyny’

Local 1 of the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) deleted its tweet on Sunday that stated, “The push to reopen schools is rooted in sexism, racism and misogyny.”

Director of School Choice at the Reason Foundation Corey DeAngelis noted Monday CTU “filed a request for an injunction to stop in-person instruction that is supposed to start January 11th”– the day after it deleted its tweet condemning the reopening of schools:

. . .DeAngelis further observed the “reopening” scheduled for January 11 in Chicago is “only for ‘students in pre-K and cluster programs.’”

Elementary and middle school students are scheduled to return to in-person instruction in February.

He continued that, while CTU quoted Dr. Anthony Fauci in its request for an injunction, it omitted Fauci’s quote in which he stated, “The default position should be to try as best as possible within reason to keep the children in school […] the spread among children & from children is not really big at all.”

Democrats Roll Out Extreme Abortion Agenda at Hearing To Ignite Hyde Amendment Repeal

On Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. House Democrats, led by Connecticut Rep. Rosa DeLauro, will convene a hearing that will ignite their extreme abortion agenda, including their goal of repealing the Hyde Amendment and forcing American taxpayers to fund abortions.

“The Hyde amendment is a discriminatory policy and one that is routinely considered — every year as a legislative rider — but we are in a moment to reckon with the norm,” tweeted DeLauro, incoming chair of the House Appropriations Committee, November 30.

The hearing of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies is titled “The Impact on Women Seeking an Abortion but are Denied Because of an Inability to Pay.”

“Because of Hyde, too many are hostage to their geography,” DeLauro said. “In the coming Congress, the House spending bill will not include it.”

Pastor Predicts Worsening Religious Persecution in U.S. Regardless of Election Outcome

Pastor Andrew Brunson soberly predicted on Sunday that Christians in the United States will face increasing hostility regardless of whether President Donald Trump prevails in his legal battles regarding the presidential election.

Brunson, who was an American missionary to Turkey for 25 years until he was unjustly imprisoned by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2016, owes his freedom in part to the hardline diplomatic measures that the Trump administration took against Turkey on his behalf.

Nevertheless, Brunson said, the most that American Christians could hope from a second Trump term is a “delay” of the persecution that he discerns to be inevitable for his home country, for which reason he urges people of faith to prepare for intense pushback.

Speaking Sunday evening to a group of Christians who gathered via Zoom to pray for the integrity of the U.S. election, Brunson explained how he has been burdened with “a new urgency” toward the U.S. since he returned after being released from his imprisonment two years ago.

“On my return to the U.S. just over two years ago, for the first time in my life—most of my life I’ve been focused overseas—for the first time in my life, I really, I have an urgency for this country, for the United States,” Brunson said. “And not just with this election. It’s not precipitated by this election, but it has been growing in me these last two years.” (Read more from “Pastor Predicts Worsening Religious Persecution in U.S. Regardless of Election Outcome” HERE)

Charter Jet CEO Charged With Sex Trafficking of Young Girls

The CEO of a private jet company was reportedly busted for sex trafficking of children across state lines last week. Paul Alexander, 57, was arrested for reportedly bringing girls across state lines, according to the New York Attorney General.

Paul Alexander, the CEO of Central Jet Charter, has been charged with sex trafficking after allegedly being caught in a sting operation. The investigation, dubbed “Operation Mile High,” claimed to have caught Alexander offering sex with a 12-year-old girl and 14-year-old girl for $300 to an undercover agent across state lines, according to authorities.

The Daily Beast reported, “An undercover cop posing as a customer met with Alexander—who showed him nude photos of the girls, charged him $300 for sex with them, and suggested he ply them with drugs and pot so they would be more cooperative, authorities said.”

The arrest came from a months-long joint investigation by the Attorney General’s Organized Crime Task Force, the New York City Police Department’s Vice Major Case Squad, and Human Trafficking Team exposed the alleged crimes by Alexander.

Alexander, who is said to be a Level 3 Sex Offender from the Bronx, has been charged with multiple counts of sex trafficking minors after months-long investigation by the NYPD and the New York Attorney General’s office, reports Daily Mail. As per the report, Alexander is a registered sex offender and was arrested on Thursday, December 3, for allegedly sex trafficking children throughout New York City. New Details Emerge on Biden Foot Injury

The details surrounding how President-elect Joe Biden sustained hairline fractures in his right foot continue to expand.

Biden said the story of how he fractured his foot was “not a very exciting” one, owning the fall that caused the fractures after he tripped over a bath mat while chasing his dog Major’s tail.

“What happened was I got out of the shower … [and the] little pup dropped a ball in front of me for me to grab the ball,” Biden told CNN on Thursday evening. “And I’m walking through this little alleyway to get to the bedroom, and I grabbed the ball like this. And he ran. And I’m joking, running after him, and grab his tail. And what happened was that he slid on a throw rug, and I tripped on the rug he slid on.” (Read more from “New Details Emerge on Biden Foot Injury” HERE)

Waitress Gets $2K Tip but Restaurant Refuses to Give Her a Cent

A Texas waitress says she was thrilled to receive a $2,000 tip on a bill — only to find out from the restaurant that she won’t take home a single cent.

Emily Bauer, 21, had only been a server for about two weeks when she was scheduled for a busy Sunday shift at Red Hook Seafood and Bar in San Antonio, news station KVUE reported. . .

Bauer said she didn’t notice at first that [a customer] had given her a $2,000 tip and wrote a note that said, “Merry Christmas! Keep working hard!” . . .

“I was sitting at a table and the other servers were congratulating me and [my manager] came over and was like, ‘Rule No. 1. Never accept a tip like that because you’re never going to get it,’” Bauer said.

Bauer said another server suggested that the restaurant give her four separate tips of $500 but they refused. (Read more from “Waitress Gets $2K Tip but Restaurant Refuses to Give Her a Cent” HERE)

Institute Lists COVID Vaccines That Rely on Aborted Baby Cells

The pro-life Charlotte Lozier Institute has released information on which coronavirus vaccines have been made using cells obtained from aborted babies.

The Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) released a new chart Thursday examining whether eight leading COVID vaccines were either produced or tested using cells obtained through abortions. The institute’s analysis found that most of the vaccine candidates did not use cell lines derived from abortions in their production, though several used abortion-derived cell lines in laboratory testing. . .

Both AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson use abortion-derived cell lines in development, production, and lab testing, the analysis found.

Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, Novavax, and Inovio use abortion-derived cells in some tests but do not use abortion-derived cells in other tests, the analysis found. . .

The analysis could not determine whether Sanofi/GSK and Merck used the abortion-derived cell lines in lab testing, but noted that Sanofi/GSK and Merck do not use abortion-derived cell lines in development or production of the vaccine.
