Young Black Man Found Hanging From a Tree – Police Say It Was a Suicide Over the Coronavirus

Outrage ensued after police indicated that a young man black man found hanging from a tree in Palmdale, California, could have been a suicide caused by the coronavirus lockdowns.

The man was found with a rope around his neck hanging from a tree in the city’s Poncitlan Square on Wednesday morning, according to the Antelope Valley Times.

Lt. Brandon Dean of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau told the Times that all signs pointed to a suicide, but that they would await the results of an autopsy.

Many people on social media questioned whether the man could have been the victim of a racist lynching.

NYC Appears to Endorse Glory Holes for Casual Sex During Quarantine

New York City’s Health Department released a “safe sex” guide Wednesday instructing people to add “physical barriers” while having sex to prevent “face-to-face contact” during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Make it a little kinky. Be creative with sexual positions and physical barriers, like walls, that allow sexual contact while preventing close face to face contact,” states NYC’s Health Department. The guide also discourages “kissing anyone who is not part of your small circle of close contacts” because “kissing can easily pass the virus.”

The city’s health experts also recommend avoiding oral sex suggesting, “Rimming (mouth on anus) might spread the virus. Virus in feces may enter your mouth and could lead to infection.” In addition, individuals are encouraged to wear a mask while making love with their significant other stating, “Maybe it’s your thing, maybe it’s not, but during COVID-19 wearing a face covering that covers your nose and mouth is a good way to add a layer of protection during sex.”

“Heavy breathing and panting can spread the virus further, and if you or your partner have COVID-19 and don’t know it, a mask can help stop that spread,” states the guide. Couples are also advised to “use physical distance and face coverings” while masturbating together in order to “reduce the risk” of spreading COVID-19. Claim: George Floyd and Ex-Cop ‘Bumped Heads’ as Coworkers at Nightclub

George Floyd did not get along with the now-fired Minneapolis police officer charged with killing him while the two worked at a nightclub, according to a former coworker.

Floyd and Derek Chauvin used to work at El Nuevo Rodeo, and their former colleague, David Pinney, claimed in a Tuesday interview with CBS Evening News that the men “bumped heads.”

“It has a lot to do with Derek being extremely aggressive within the club with some of the patrons, which was an issue,” Pinney said.

He also affirmed that there is no doubt in his mind that the two knew each other, saying Chauvin knew Floyd “pretty well” when pressed.

Maya Santamaria, the owner of the bar, previously came forward and revealed that Floyd, who died after Chauvin pinned a knee on his neck for nearly nine minutes while arresting him, and the former officer “were working together.” (Read more from “Claim: George Floyd and Ex-Cop ‘Bumped Heads’ as Coworkers at Nightclub” HERE)

Rioters Killed Her Cop Brother During George Floyd Protests. Here’s What She Thinks of ‘Defunding’ Police

The sister of a federal protective officer in Oakland who was fatally shot during a protest for George Floyd that turned violent told Congress on Wednesday calls to defund the police are “ridiculous”.

“It is a ridiculous solution to claim that defunding police departments is the solution to police brutality and discrimination because it’s not a solution. It gets us nowhere as a nation and removes the safety net protection that every citizen deserves from their communities elected officials,” Angela Underwood Jacobs said at the House Judiciary Committee’s hearing on proposed changes to police practices on Capitol Hill.

Jacobs’ brother, Patrick Underwood, was stationed in front of the U.S. Courthouse in Oakland Calif., on May 29 when a vehicle pulled up the building and opened fire at him and another contract security officer who both worked for Homeland Security’s Federal Protective Service. Underwood was killed while the second officer was wounded. . .

After Floyd’s brother, Philonise Floyd, testified to the committee, Jacobs, who is also a city council member for Lancaster, Calif., urged lawmakers to focus on reinvesting in other areas where racial disparities exist, such as education, jobs and housing rather than dismantling law enforcement agencies altogether.

She also condemned the use of violence against police officers and other tactics such as looting and burning– which she said has marred otherwise peaceful protests in dozens of cities across the country– calling these acts “blind violence.” (Read more from “Rioters Killed Her Cop Brother During George Floyd Protests. Historic First: Under Trump, Half of National Security Council Leaders Are Women

For the first time in history, half of the senior leaders of the National Security Council are women. Twelve of the 24 directorates are led by women now, including three of the six regional directorates that cover the world.

While the White House press corps has not yet noticed that fact, and Vanity Fair didn’t have Annie Leibovitz come do a photo shoot, as would have been obligatory in the previous administration, women in the White House noticed and appreciated the historic first.

“President Trump has demonstrated his commitment to empowering women in the U.S. and across the world, implementing a pro-growth, pro-family agenda that lifts up women of all backgrounds. It’s no surprise that women are leading the way across the Trump administration, including more women leaders at the National Security Council than at any other time in history,” adviser to the President Ivanka Trump said.

The National Security Council has both functional and regional directorates. The functional directorates tackle issues such as international organizations, border security, and COVID response, all three of which women now lead. Three of the six regional directorates covering the globe — Africa, Asia, and South Asia — are now led by women. U.S. School District Plans to Surveil Students With Bluetooth Tracking Devices to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19

A school district in New Albany, Ohio, is planning to combat the spread of COVID-19 when school returns in August by surveilling its students, according to a report by Wired.

According to the tech magazine, students will be required to wear bluetooth tracking devices developed by Volan that will monitor them wherever they go throughout the school day and send alerts in emergency situations.

Here’s more from the report:

The school district, with five schools and 4,800 students, plans to test a system that would require each student to wear an electronic beacon to track their location to within a few feet throughout the day. It will record where students sit in each classroom, show who they meet and talk to, and reveal how they gather in groups. The hope is such technology could prevent or minimize an outbreak of Covid-19, the deadly respiratory disease at the center of a global pandemic.

“We are very much interested in the automated tracking of students,” Michael Sawyers, the district superintendent for New Albany-Plain Schools, told Wired. Sawyers reportedly believes that the technology will enable school officials to determine if social distancing practices are being followed and pinpoint at-risk individuals should someone in the district test positive for the virus. Actor Terry Crews Will Not Apologize for His Tweets

A few days after football star Drew Brees distanced himself from his sincere remarks about the American flag because critics called him a racist, actor Terry Crews finds himself on the receiving end of the same cancel culturalists (not a Merriam-Webster approved term). This weekend, Crews shared a beautiful sentiment on Twitter: That white and black Americans should actually work together to defeat hatred. . .

Thousands of people liked and retweeted the statement, but Crews’ message was too offensive for others.

His haters accused him of being “tone deaf,” while others encouraged him to “educate” himself on the terms he used.

Unlike Brees, Crews is standing his ground. He has not deleted his original statement. In fact, he’s since reiterated his message several times and shamed those who were trying to put words in his mouth or misinterpreting him. Or calling him foul names.

“Please know that everything I’ve said comes from a spirit of love and reconciliation, for the Black community first, then the world as a whole, in hopes to see a better future for Black people,” Crews adds. “I believe it is important we not suffer from groupthink, and we keep minds of our own, and be allowed to ask difficult questions to each other. I believe this dialogue is important as we get through this trauma together. I love you.” (Read more from “Actor Terry Crews Will Not Apologize for His Tweets” HERE)

Is There Really an ‘Epidemic’ of Racist Police Shootings?

. . .Black Lives Matter is calling on the defunding of police—which is just silly. Congressional Democrats are looking to pass sweeping “police reform,” and one can only wonder what their real objectives are. But, this all leads to some very important questions. While we all agree that unjustified police brutality is bad, is there really an “epidemic” of racial bias in police brutality? It only takes one incident to go viral and serve as a call to arms for thousands of people to protest, but is it a really as big of a problem as people suggest it is?

Looking at the data, the answer might actually be no. According to a 2019 study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, white officers are not more likely to shoot black civilians than black or Hispanic officers are. According to the study, there is “no evidence of anti-Black or anti-Hispanic disparities across shootings, and White officers are not more likely to shoot minority civilians than non-White officers. Instead, race-specific crime strongly predicts civilian race. This suggests that increasing diversity among officers by itself is unlikely to reduce racial disparity in police shootings.” . . .

“A solid body of evidence finds no structural bias in the criminal-justice system with regard to arrests, prosecution or sentencing,” explained Heather Mac Donald of the Manhatten Institute in the Wall Street Journal earlier this week. “Crime and suspect behavior, not race, determine most police actions.”

In 2019 police officers fatally shot 1,004 people, most of whom were armed or otherwise dangerous. African-Americans were about a quarter of those killed by cops last year (235), a ratio that has remained stable since 2015. That share of black victims is less than what the black crime rate would predict, since police shootings are a function of how often officers encounter armed and violent suspects. In 2018, the latest year for which such data have been published, African-Americans made up 53% of known homicide offenders in the U.S. and commit about 60% of robberies, though they are 13% of the population.

The police fatally shot nine unarmed blacks and 19 unarmed whites in 2019, according to a Washington Post database, down from 38 and 32, respectively, in 2015. The Post defines “unarmed” broadly to include such cases as a suspect in Newark, N.J., who had a loaded handgun in his car during a police chase. In 2018 there were 7,407 black homicide victims. Assuming a comparable number of victims last year, those nine unarmed black victims of police shootings represent 0.1% of all African-Americans killed in 2019. By contrast, a police officer is 18½ times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.

Chris Cuomo Seemingly Caught Naked in Wife’s Yoga Video

CNN primetime host Chris Cuomo appears to have been spotted naked in the background of a yoga video his wife shared to Instagram.

A nude man who resembles Cuomo was caught with parts of his back and buttocks exposed as Cristina Cuomo was doing yoga for her followers on May 27, prompting social media users to wonder if it was in fact the Cuomo Prime Time anchor.

“So my bf was watching Cristina Cuomo livestream on IG earlier and Chris was stark bollock naked in the background outside,” tweeted one user.

The video was quickly deleted after it was shared to Instagram, according to the New York Post. (Read more from “Chris Cuomo Seemingly Caught Naked in Wife’s Yoga Video” HERE)

DOJ Demands UK Hand Over Prince Andrew for Questioning

Prince Andrew will launch an extraordinary public fight back Monday after US authorities made a formal request for him to be quizzed over the Epstein affair.

In a dramatic twist last night, it emerged that the US Department of Justice has filed a ‘mutual legal assistance’ (MLA) request for help to the UK Home Office. These requests are used only in criminal cases under a legal treaty with the UK.

Prince Andrew has always categorically denied any wrongdoing over his relationship with billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. But the request from US officials means he could be forced to appear in a UK court as a witness in the case within months.

US officials have previously claimed that Andrew has refused to co-operate with their requests to be questioned over Epstein and their investigation into his sex trafficking network. Submitting an MLA is an audacious move to try to force him to answer questions.

However, the Mail understands that the prince will make his own dramatic move Monday by hitting back forcefully at claims he has failed to engage with the American investigation. (Read more from “DOJ Demands UK Hands Over Prince Andrew for Questioning” HERE)
