Pastor: Black People Who Vote for Trump Are Mentally Ill

The pastor of a Birmingham, Alabama, church posted a sign out front saying black people who vote for President Donald Trump are mentally ill, and white people who vote for him are racist, according to WVTM-TV.

Pastor Michael Jordan of New Era Baptist Church defended the sign, which read, “A black vote for Trump is mental illness” on one side and “A white vote for Trump is pure racism” on the other.

“God motivates me to take a stand for what’s right,” Jordan told WVTM. “Read the Bible. And look in the White House. If they’re calling me a racist, look in the White House. When you vote for Donald Trump, you are supporting institutionalized racism.”

Jordan already has a reputation as a racially divisive minister. In 2018, Jordan posted a sign that read, “Black folks need to stay out of white churches” on one side and “White folks refused to be our neighbors” on the other. The signs were a response to a megachurch opening a satellite campus in Birmingham to help reduce crime. . .

Jordan’s latest signs could put his church’s tax-exempt status in jeopardy. Churches with tax-exempt status are not to “participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office.”

Alyssa Milano Complains About Second Amendment Rights: ‘Which Passage of the Bible’ Says It’s a ‘God-Given Right to Own a Gun?’ Ted Cruz Demolishes Her Argument.

In a pointed tweet, [Alyssa] Milano wrote, “Can someone cite which passage of the Bible God states it is a god-given right to own a gun? This guy is unbelievable and is clearly owned by the gun lobby.”

She was responding to a tweet from Rep. Matt Schaefer (R-Texas), who promised that he would not allow the mass killer’s acts put a damper on the Second Amendment rights of Texans. . .

[Ted Cruz] wrote, “An excellent Q, worth considering carefully w/o the snark of Twitter. It is of course not the right to a modern-day firearm that is God-give [sic] but rather the right to Life & the right to Liberty. Essential to that right to life is the right to DEFEND your life & your family.”

The Texas lawmaker continued, “The right to self-defense is recognized repeatedly in the Bible, eg Exodus 22:2: ‘If a thief is caught breaking in at night & is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed.’ (Note, though, verse 3 says it IS murder if during daylight (ie, not self-defense).” . . .

Leftist Writer: Stop Wearing Red Hats Because They Trigger Me

Twitter is the place to drop an A-bomb like this. If this is serious, then this person needs help. If she wanted to get ratioed, mocked, and create a ruckus, then she certainly succeeded. Apparently, wearing red baseball caps is a triggering experience for Rebecca Makkai and she warned that it scares other people. Even baseball caps that aren’t political are not worth wearing because they trigger liberal America. I mean this is just weakness.

Student Investigated After Posting 4-Year-Old Photo of Him at Shooting Range

By Daily Wire. A student in the Iola, Texas, Independent School District (ISD) was searched after he posted a 4-year-old photo of himself shooting a handgun with an adult present.

The male student had posted the photo on Facebook and the caption included the word “school,” so two other students reported the photo. The student who posted the photo was questioned and searched. . .

Even though the student was found not to be a threat, the photo was non-threatening, and no threat against the school was mentioned, he will still be “disciplined according to district policy,” KBTX reported. The outlet reported that the “County Attorney is also reviewing the case” but that no charges have been filed at this time.

Just last week, another high school student was punished because he went to a shooting range with his mother and posted a video on Snapchat of the guns they would be shooting. He captioned the video “Finna be lit,” which someone mistook as a threat.

The student, Nathan Myers, is barred from classes until an investigation is completed. The Daily Wire previously reported that Myers explained to investigators that his caption was simply slang meaning he was “excited” about going to the range. Student Searched for Gun After Old Photo Posted on Social Media

By KBTX-TV. ola ISD is working to put parents at ease after a student’s Facebook post sparked an investigation on the second day of school. The district and law enforcement said there is no threat.

Last week a student made a comment about his school with an older photo of him with a handgun. Investigators say on August 22, an old picture of a male student was posted on social media from when he was 9-years-old. The photo that was taken years ago showed the child and an adult shooting in the country with the child holding a pistol. The Facebook post also mentioned the school with the photo.

“It was a young student, had a handgun in the picture and part of the wording on the picture it had the word “school” in it. So we take that stuff very seriously here. As we investigated we found out the picture was a four-year-old picture,” said Scott Martindale, Iola ISD Superintendent.

“The picture had a caption that mentioned school. It did not threaten the school whatsoever it just mentioned the school,” he explained. . .

Former Planned Parenthood ‘Educator’: Planned Parenthood ‘Grooms’ Young Girls for Abortions

Former sex educator Monica Cline said Planned Parenthood pushes sex education that “grooms” children for promiscuity and leads to abortion. . .

“We have to approach this and look at your audience and realize that they’ve probably done anything and everything related to sex,” the Planned Parenthood Director of Prevention Education told Cline at the beginning of her instruction. Cline has asked that the director, who has passed away, remain anonymous out of respect for the director’s family. . .

The director showed Cline several Planned Parenthood case studies that showed girls as young as 10 years old coming to Planned Parenthood for help with injuries, the removal of foreign objects and abortions. The studies convinced Cline that something must be done to help these young women. . .

Planned Parenthood’s sex education grooms students for promiscuity, Cline believes, and this promiscuity leads them to abortion. “The sex education grooms them for promiscuity. Grooms them for STD treatment, and grooms them for abortion,” she said. . .

California Court Overturns Gun Conviction Against Illegal Alien in Kate Steinle Murder

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that a California Appeals court has overturned the gun conviction against the illegal immigrant who killed the young American woman, Kate Steinle, in 2015. Jose Inez Garcia Zarate had already been acquitted of murder charges in 2017 related to the case after the court ruled his actions as an accident.

Zarate has been previously deported five times and was in the country illegally at the time of the incident. On Friday, the “1st District Court of Appeals…overturned a gun conviction against Jose Inez Garcia-Zarate because the judge failed to instruct the jury on one of his defenses.” . . .

Study Proves: There Is No ‘Gay Gene’

Recent polls have shown that most Americans believe that homosexuals are “born that way” rather than become gay as the result of environmental factors. In fact, perpetuating the belief that sexual orientation is innate has been crucial to the gay rights movement. According to the most recent Gallup Poll on the subject, 88 percent of people who believe homosexuals are “born that way” support the legality of same-sex marriage, while only 39 percent of those who believe homosexuality is the result of environmental factors support the legality of same-sex marriage.

So, what happens when science proves that homosexuals aren’t “born that way”? Perhaps we’ll find out. A new comprehensive scientific study of the biological roots of sexual orientation released Thursday proved that there no “gay gene” and that genetic factors are insignificant in determining sexual orientation.

The research, which analyzed data on DNA and sexual experiences from almost half a million people, found there are thousands of genetic variants linked to same-sex sexual behavior, most with very small effects. . .

“We scanned the entire human genome and found a handful – five to be precise – of locations that are clearly associated with whether a person reports in engaging in same-sex sexual behavior,” said Andrea Ganna, a biologist at the Institute of Molecular Medicine in Finland who co-led the research.

According to Ganna, these genetic variances have “a very small effect” on sexual behavior, and combined, only explain “considerably less than 1% of the variance in the self-reported same-sex sexual behavior.” This means that non-genetic factors, including environment, upbringing, personality, and nurture “are far more significant in influencing a person’s choice of sexual partner, just as with most other personality, behavioral and physical human traits,” according to the researchers. Mexican National Pleads Guilty to Capital Murder of 10-Year-Old Girl but Will Not Face Death Penalty

A man who recently plead guilty to the murder of a 10-year-old girl will not face the death penalty but will spend his life behind bars. According to the Tyler Morning Telegraph the man was related to his young victim through marriage. The Associated Press referred to him as a “Mexican national.”

In a statement Smith County District Attorney Jacob Putman expressed his frustration with the criminal not facing the death penalty. The man in this case was determined to be intellectually disabled and Putman said the Supreme Court has ruled that capital murder defendants who are deemed to be intellectually disabled cannot be executed. . .

Today, August 22 2019, Gustavo Garcia-Zavala entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to Life In Prison Without Parole.

This result is a direct consequence of recent action taken by the United States Supreme Court. In 2002, the Supreme Court ruled that the State cannot execute an Intellectually Disabled capital murder defendant, regardless of how severe or heinous the crime.

The Court’s ruling left victims’ families devastated and communities outraged. In the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals instituted standards that allowed a jury to apply common sense when deciding if a capital murder defendant was Intellectually Disabled.

Beto Staff Kicks out Conservative Reporter to ‘Protect Black Students’

The flailing 2020 presidential campaign of former Rep. Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke (D-TX) claimed Wednesday that a staffer ejected Breitbart News senior editor-at-large Joel Pollak from a speech at Benedict College, a historically black college, to protect black students.

In a statement Wednesday, O’Rourke’s press secretary, Aleigha Cavalier, attempted to defend against the growing controversy stemming from Pollak’s removal, claiming that while the candidate “believes in the right to a free press,” Breitbart News “walks the line between being news and a perpetrator of hate speech.”

“Given this particular Breitbart employee’s previous hateful reporting and the sensitivity of the topics being discussed with students at an HBCU, a campaign staffer made the call to ask him to leave to ensure that the students attending the event felt comfortable and safe while sharing their experiences as young people of color,” the statement added.

A Breitbart spokesperson hit back shortly after the O’Rourke campaign’s statement: “The false accusation that Breitbart is racist, or that its award-winning reporter — an Orthodox Jew, married to a black woman who serves in the military — is either racist or would make anyone at a black university uncomfortable is absurd. Women’s Rape Shelter Faces Death Threats for Rejecting Transgender “Women”

Canada’s oldest rape crisis shelter is facing death threats and vandalism over their policy of not including transgender women. . .

“A follow up to the dead rat that was nailed to our door recently… this morning we found this writing scrawled across the windows of our storefront space that we use for support and training groups,” the account tweeted, adding “misogyny” in a hashtag.

The photos show writing with the death threat, “KILL TERFS,” and “TRANS POWER.” The word “TERF” is an acronym used by transgender activists and allies as a pejorative for “transgender exclusionary radical feminist.” It is used against feminists who do not follow the demands of the transgender lobby, especially those which put women at risk or under threat. . .

The center offers its services to women who were born female in accordance with the feminism that guides their mission. In March, the Vancouver City Council pulled funding from the group because of pressure from transgender activists.

The shelter decried the decision, saying in a statement that the council was committing to “discrimination against women in the name of inclusion.”
