BOOM: Transgender Man Claims DC Restaurant Demanded ID Before Using Restroom, Then Kicked Him out

A Washington, D.C., restaurant may face legal action after an employee asked a transgender [man] for identification upon entering the women’s restroom over the weekend.

Charlotte Clymer said [he] was attending a bachelorette party at Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar with a “large group of women,” but claimed [he] was the only one who was asked to prove [he] was [‘female’] before using the ladies room late Friday evening.

Clymer tweeted that the Washington, D.C., Office of Human Rights and the city’s licensing authority will be conducting an investigation. [He] also plans to explore legal options against the restaurant, according to the Washington Post. . .

“Near the end our time there, I went to use the restroom with Bethany Quinn and before I reached the door, an attendant stuck out his arm and said he needed to see my ID. When I asked why, he said that ‘female’ must be on an ID to use the women’s restroom. No one else was asked,” Clymer wrote on Facebook. . .

“I tell him he’s wrong and there’s no chance I’m showing him my ID. There are people crammed into this hallway. It’s busy. He insists I need to show my ID, I tell him that’s not happening, and demand to see what law he’s citing,” [he] continued on Facebook. Hollywood Director Says Trump Could ‘Go Down as One of the Greatest Presidents in History’

David Lynch — an award-winning director who helmed “The Elephant Man” and “Twin Peaks” among other notable projects — spoke out in what appeared to be support for President Donald Trump in an interview published Saturday in The Guardian. . .

During the wide-ranging interview, 72-year-old Lynch said that Trump could very well “go down as one of the greatest presidents in history because he has disrupted the thing so much.”

Lynch, who has been open about his admiration of former President Ronald Reagan and who supported Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) during his 2016 presidential campaign, also noted that he feels Trump is able to get things done as president.

“I am not really a political person, but I really like the freedom to do what you want to do,” Lynch told The Guardian’s Rory Carroll. “No one is able to counter this guy in an intelligent way.”

Lynch doesn’t necessarily think that Trump is doing a good job as president, per se, but, according to Carroll, this allows other “outsiders” to come in and do the job as president in the future. Cruz Gave Chilling Warning Before Massacre

A freshman at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School received a chilling warning when he encountered shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz in the hallway as he was reloading his AR-15 rifle that fateful Valentine’s Day.

The student told investigators that Cruz said “you better get out of here,” according to interview transcripts released on Friday. . .

Cruz, 19, has offered to plead guilty if the death penalty is waived, but prosecutors have not agreed to that. Authorities say he confessed to the crime and previously prosecutors released cellphone videos Cruz recorded in which he describes in detail what he planned to do at the school that he had attended.

Another interview released Friday was with a Stoneman Douglas security monitor who was in the building just as Cruz entered. The monitor, whose name is also redacted but who school officials have identified as David Taylor, said he saw Cruz carrying the gun bag from about a 50-yard distance down a school hallway. He had been alerted to Cruz’s presence by another monitor, Andrew Medina, both of whom were well-acquainted with the troubled former student. . .

Taylor told detectives that he knew Cruz well from his time at the school and had frequently taken him out of class for defiant behavior and being disrespectful to teachers. (Read more from “Cruz Gave Chilling Warning Before Massacre” HERE)

Facebook Bans Christian Professor Over Criticism of Video Recruiting Children as ‘Gay Allies’

Facebook recently placed a 24-hour ban on Christian author and former professor Robert A. J. Gagnon for a post he made criticizing a Canadian children’s video celebrating gay pride and LGBT icons.

The catalyst for Gagnon’s “hateful” Facebook post was a video put out by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation at the beginning of June.

In this video, Jessi Cruickshank, a Canadian actress and media personality, sat at a table with four young children and asked them all kinds of questions about the LGBT community, such as “what does it mean to celebrate gay pride?” and “what do you think about gay marriage?”

Cruickshank also discussed the advantages of having two moms or two dads and talked to the children about what it means to be a “gay icon,” arguing that when she was growing up, Jodie Foster helped her question her own sexuality when she saw the actress appear naked in the film “Nell.” “Not that I remember watching it several times as a child,” Cruickshank said to the camera.

While meant to be a harmless “celebration of sexual diversity,” this video sparked outrage among conservatives and Christians nationwide, Gagnon included, for its tone of indoctrination and its decidedly adult subject material. As Gagnon told The Western Journal, it was a case of “classic indoctrination from beginning to end” filled with “leading questions” to get the children to answer in a certain way. “I thought it was appalling, quite frankly,” he said. “This is an actual example of educational pedagogy, of what should not be done.”

Shortly after the video was released, Gagnon made a post on his own personal Facebook page strongly criticizing the CBC for airing this content using public funds.

Gagnon’s post read as follows: “This clip is about celebrating sexual perversity, not ‘sexual diversity.’ Brought to you by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Canadian equivalent to our PBS, paid for by tax dollars. No indoctrination or recruitment going on here (or on PBS), right? Any resemblance to Orwell’s Big Brother (or Kim Jong-un) is purely coincidental? It is a measure of how corrupt things have become that this woman is not vilified throughout Canada and legislators are not threatening to remove funding from the CBC. By the end the woman is talking to little children about Jody Foster (sic) helping her to question her own sexuality as a child and about Foster’s nudity in a film.”

On June 14, Facebook notified Gagnon that his post from June 6 “had violated their community standards on hate speech” and that he had been placed under a 24-hour ban, with more serious consequences to follow if he continued to violate their standards. Gagnon told The Western Journal that he had no knowledge of what exactly in his post was considered hate speech.

“Like Big Brother here, the weird thing is, they don’t tell you what specifically in your remarks constitutes hate speech,” he said. “You’re not having a dialogue with any one person, it’s just this anonymous source, and you can’t make a case.”

“There’s no space for me to say ‘here’s my argument,’ which would be tough to make anyway because they didn’t tell me what specifically I did that constituted the hate speech,” he continued.

Gagnon said that he had previously received a warning from Facebook for sharing a friend’s post that was critical of a lesbian political candidate, but he also expressed his uncertainty as to whether or not that prior warning was a reason behind his ban on June 14.

After appealing Facebook’s ban, Gagnon finally heard back from the Facebook Help Team just 22 minutes before his 24 hours were up. “We’re sorry we got it wrong,” the email said. Gagnon said he wasn’t exactly sure what made Facebook reverse their decision, but he did say that many of his friends and colleagues were spreading the word about his ban on social media during those 24 hours.

Gagnon shared his thoughts behind his comments about the video as well as some of his concerns regarding Facebook’s censorship of Christian views in a recent interview with The Western Journal.

When asked why he used the word “perversity” to describe the video in his Facebook post, Gagnon responded that the word just came to him through “creative wordplay,” because of its assonance with diversity. He said to himself, “Here’s a good rhyme on (Cruickshank’s) exultation of sexual diversity: it’s really sexual perversity.”

Gagnon continued, “I mean, the irony of the whole thing is: if you want to celebrate sexual diversity, then there’s no reason to limit yourself simply to same-sex unions. You might as well include everything. Diversity is diversity — viva la diversity!”

He made the argument that if the CBC really wanted to celebrate true sexual diversity, then they should also celebrate things like incest and polyamory, both of which are included under the umbrella of sexual diversity and both of which — he hopes — the CBC would actually have a problem with openly promoting.

When considering the cultural stigma surrounding these taboo relationships, Gagnon’s point becomes clear: none of this material is at all appropriate to be discussing with children. “It’s promotion of sexual diversity without thinking about what that implies,” he said, adding that the conversation in the video was “corrupting their young minds unnecessarily.”

In a world where children are being exposed to mature topics at younger and younger ages, Gagnon emphasized why it matters whether or not kids are included in discussions about sexuality. “It matters because there ought to be a space in a child’s life where they don’t have to think about sexual intercourse … to develop with some degree of innocence with regard to sexual acts.”

“You don’t want to corrupt children too early with explicit sexual discussions over things that they’re not prepared at this point to handle,” he added.

Gagnon said he stands by his decision to call the video a perversity and won’t apologize because same-sex unions are “a violation of something that’s creational.” He argues that one essential aspect of Christianity is the “male-female foundation to sexual ethics,” because “God deliberately created us as a binary sexual pair, complementary to each other.”

He explained that by categorizing his post as “hate speech” for criticism of a homosexual lifestyle, Facebook is “essentially saying that adopting the Christian position here is itself intrinsically or inherently going to promote violence against persons who engage in this behavior. That’s just idiotic from the get-go.”

“Of course, part of the irony is one of (Facebook’s) protected classes has to do with religion. And yet still, now they’re saying that I cannot publicly proclaim something that’s central to the self-definition of the Christian faith,” he said, later adding, “I do have a 500-page book on the subject. It’s not like I’ve hidden in a corner on this viewpoint.”

He continued, “I’m able to publish and all this stuff; I have the freedom to do that. None of my works have ever led to anybody committing violence or anything, I’ve never promoted violence in any of my works. How is it that I can’t have a discussion — a rational, reasonable discussion — on social media about this issue? How is it that that has to be attributed to ‘hate speech?’ The whole thing is ridiculous.”

“It’s not like I’m some guy out of the wahoo somewhere who’s saying these awful, tremendous things, has not even given any ounce of intellectual thought to the issue whatsoever. I mean, I actually do have reasonable arguments, on the religious and philosophical basis for the position that I do hold,” Gagnon said. “It’s not just me. I mean, there are millions and millions of people likewise.”

Gagnon also criticized the hypocritical “tolerance” of liberals in today’s culture, arguing that things used to be different. “Who are they going to keep eliminating until they finally close off all speech? I mean, these are the people who are supposed to be quote-unquote ‘liberal!’ Remember when ‘liberal’ actually did mean tolerance? Actually did mean legitimate diversity? I mean, I’m old enough to remember a period of time when liberals actually believed that rhetoric. Most of them don’t believe that anymore.”

He continued, “It’s such a level of intolerance; it has this whole Orwellian, Big Brother-quality to it: ‘We’re gonna define what you can say and think in any public discourse and you’d better not deviate one iota from that doctrine, from that indoctrination that we’re using.’ It’s a Soviet-style thing, in the old Soviet Communist regime or even the current Communist regime in China.”

Gagnon’s comments on censorship focused on the “kind of lunacy that is now taking hold” of the culture. “It’s like, if you commit X act or you say Y thing, you are psychologically imbalanced. It’s foolishness, it’s complete foolishness.”

He argued that Facebook seems to be considering the Christian viewpoint “disturbed” and that such a bias allows the social media site to discriminate against Christians’ posts without reason or proof of wrongdoing.

“We now have to be disturbed to take the viewpoint that we have, and if they say that we’re disturbed, they don’t actually have to argue a position anymore. Facebook administrators are not interested in arguing with you or debating with you over whether this is hate speech. You simply are. You’re imbalanced, you’re somebody that’s an evil individual, no dialogue need be had at this point.”

He concluded, “In fact, that’s what they’re trying to do with these kinds of ‘community standards,’ so-called, is close off any debate or discussion on the issue.”

Gagnon said he is glad his situation has reached the attention of so many, arguing that the coverage sheds light on Facebook’s hidden agenda. “My point is: if you’re gonna do it in secret, do it in darkness, this evil that you’re doing, I’m going to give you all the bad publicity I can possibly give you, accordingly, to say ‘look, you are singling me out.’”

Gagnon is a former associate professor at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and has long been vocal about his opposition to same-sex practices. His book, “The Bible and Homosexual Practice: Texts and Hermeneutics,” published in 2001, is an in-depth analysis of how and where the Bible affirms that homosexual intercourse is a sin.

Although he addresses controversial topics in his work, Gagnon told The Western Journal, “I try to stay as non-controversial as possible, but I seem to fail repeatedly in my efforts.” (For more from the author of “Facebook Bans Christian Professor Over Criticism of Video Recruiting Children as ‘Gay Allies’” please click HERE)

Now Hollywood Lib Targeting Don Jr’s 4-Year-Old Girl… ’We’re Coming for Her’

. . .Pat Dussault, a Hollywood writer most recently credited for several episodes of Chop Chop Ninja, is coming under fire for his response to Trump Jr. who had criticized Fonda’s sick suggestion that Barron Trump be kidnapped and raped. . .

“I sincerely apologize to Donald Trump Jr & his family for the reckless tweet that I posted earlier today,” Dussault wrote.

Several things here. First, I don’t know if there’s ever any particularly great way to apologize for suggesting that someone’s 4-year-old daughter ought to be raped, but trying to emphasize that it was a “totally inappropriate attempt at humor” isn’t it.

Second, I always love the boilerplate language emphasizing that they’re alone responsible for what they had to say. Was anyone attributing his words to someone else?

Previously Deported Illegal Alien Accused of Raping Deaf Woman at Gunpoint…In 1996

If ever there were a story to highlight the need for better border security as well as local and federal law enforcement coordination, it is that of previously deported illegal alien Jose Abarca.

Abarca, a Mexican national, has been sitting in jail since April 3rd, 2018 after Montgomery Country, MD police arrested the man during a routine traffic stop. After pulling over Abarca, police officers took the man’s information and ran it through their system. As his past offenses popped up on their computers, authorities realized they were not dealing with a simple speeding violation but were actually face to face with a convicted drug dealer and an alleged rapist, according to WJLA ABC7.

Abarca’s trouble with law enforcement began in January of 2008 after Montgomery County police conducted a drug bust that resulted in “$24,000 in U.S. currency, $7,700 in Mexican pesos, 15 grams of cocaine, three cell phones, a tally sheet, cutting device and sandwich baggies” being retrieved from Abarca’s mobile home in Germantown, MD.

The illegal alien plead guilty, but not before his attorney attempted to argue that his client was simply forced into selling drugs because of the economic effects of the Great Recession as well as his drug addiction.

“The construction starts tanking because the building and real estate industry starts tanking…My client is not a huge or major player in the cocaine industry. It was mostly selling and violating — actually — the number one rule of drug dealing, getting high on your own supply,” attorney Frank Trock said. Yes, They ARE Animals: MS-13 Gang Members Charged With Kidnap, Murder of Two Teens

Eleven MS-13 gang members have been charged with the kidnapping and murder of two teenage boys from Virginia, announced the Department of Justice on Friday. All the gang members who have been charged are in their 20s and originally from El Salvador, though it’s unclear if they are legally or illegally in the United States. . .

In a statement to Townhall, U.S. Attorney’s Office Director of Communications for the Eastern District of Virginia Joshua Stueve said, “While we note in the press release that all of the defendants are from El Salvador, we did not include any information as to their immigration status.” . . .

The indictment revealed that four gang members conspired to lure Mendez to a park in Fairfax Country to murder him in August 2016. The 17-year-old was allegedly in a rival gang. “After killing him and to conceal evidence linking them to the juvenile’s disappearance and murder, these four defendants and their co-conspirators buried the juvenile’s remains,” reports ABC 13 WSET News.

Additionally, in September 2016, nine gang members lured Triminio to the same Fairfax County park to be murdered. MS-13 suspected the 14-year-old was cooperating with law enforcement. Triminio’s remains were buried, too. (Read more from “Yes, They are Animals: MS-13 Gang Members Charged With Kidnap, Murder of Two Teens” HERE)

Dad Whose Child Was Killed by Illegal Alien Has Message for Media Empathy Towards Illegal Immigration

By The Daily Caller. President Trump hosted Angel families at the White House Friday afternoon so they could tell their stories. An Angel parent is a parent of a child who was killed by an illegal alien.

No media in the room was ready for what father Steve Ronnebeck had to say. Ronnebeck lost his 21-year-old son Grant Ronnebeck to an illegal alien who shot him for a pack of cigarettes. . .

“Grant did everything he was supposed to do,” Ronnebeck said, “Gave him the cigarettes. The man went ahead and executed him and shot him point-blank in the face.”

Then Ronnebeck directly called out the media, asking why they don’t tell his story. “You don’t hear these stories, and some of our media won’t talk to you about it,” Ronnebeck said, “This is permanent separation. For his birthday, I go to his grave. … We set up a Christmas tree on Grant’s grave.”

Ronnebeck was not done with the media. “I wish some of our media had the same integrity as our president, our vice president, Director [of ICE] Homan, all of you in law enforcement,” Ronnebeck said, “I wish some of our media had the same integrity. I want to thank all of you, especially our law enforcement for what you do. Mr. President, Mr. Vice President, thank you.” (Read more from “Dad Whose Child Was Killed by Illegal Alien Has Message for Media Empathy Towards Illegal Immigration” HERE)

Trump Hosts ‘Angel Families’ to Highlight Crime by Illegal Aliens

By Washington Times. President Trump highlighted “American victims of illegal immigration” Friday, hosting families of people killed by illegal immigrants to tell their stories and hitting back at critics of his rescinded policy that separated illegal child migrants from their parents.

“These are the American citizens permanently separated from their loved ones,” Mr. Trump said at the White House. “These are the families the media ignores. These are the stories that Democrats and people that are weak on immigration don’t want to discuss.”

He was surrounded on a stage by so-called “Angel” families who lost loved ones to violence by illegal immigrants. Many of the parents held large photographs of their dead children.

Referring to the furor over separating child migrants from their parents, Mr. Trump emphasized repeatedly that the families gathered with him had lost their loved ones forever.

“They’re not separated for a day, or two days,” the president said. “They’re permanently separated, because they were killed by criminal illegal aliens.” (Read more from “Trump Hosts ‘Angel Families’ to Highlight Crime by Illegal Aliens” HERE)

Washington Post Hides Correction After Embarrassing Error on Time Cover Story

The Washington Post stealth-edited an article incorrectly claiming the young child on the cover of Time Magazine was separated from her mother, only adding a “clarification” after The Daily Caller reached out for comment.

The original article — written by Eli Rosenberg — asserted that the image of the crying immigrant girl staring up at President Donald Trump was a powerful statement about family separations on the border. . .

The article itself repeated the now-debunked claim that the child was taken away from her mother, reading, “Time magazine ran a cover that used one of the images that has been most resonant in this past week, taken of a young girl crying as her mother was patted down by a Border Patrol agent before the two were separated.” [Emphasis added] . . .

As the father of the young girl, border patrol agents and eventually Time indicated, at no point were the mother and daughter ever separated. The child was briefly set down for the mother’s pat-down, but the pair were quickly reunited after the search.

The Washington Post edited Rosenberg’s article to fix the error, but they issued no editor’s note, correction, or clarification that anything had been changed despite the fact that the original article was on the website for at least 12 hours. This Lesbian Actress-Turned Politician Claims ICE Is a ‘Terrorist Group’

Cynthia Nixon, an actress turned gubernatorial challenger for New York governor, called the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency a “terrorist organization” and wants it abolished, according to published reports. . .

Nixon, a Democrat, made the comment Thursday at St. Paul and St. Andrew United Methodist Church on the Upper West Side in New York City. She was there to support undocumented Guatemalan immigrant Debora Vasquez-Barrios, a mother of two who sought sanctuary at the church in early June after ICE told her that she is facing deportation.

“ICE has strayed so far from its mission,” said Nixon, who previously starred on “Sex in the City.” “It’s supposed to be here to keep Americans safe but what it’s turned into is frankly a terrorist organization of its own. It’s terrorizing people who are coming to this country.” . . .

“I think we need to abolish ICE,” Nixon said earlier in the day on “The View.” “That seems really clear. They have strayed so far from the interests of the American people and the interests of humanity.”

The 52-year-old actress is challenging Gov. Andrew Cuumo for the Democratic nomination for governor. Last week, a Siena College poll showed her behind Cumo, 61 to 26 percent. The primary is set for Sept. 13. (Read more from “This Lesbian Actress-Turned Politician Claims ICE Is a ‘Terrorist Group'” HERE)
