Clinton ‘Sex Victim’ Lashes out at Oprah

Oprah Winfrey’s rant at the Golden Globes award ceremony about how women who are victims of assault should stand up, speak out and fight back has gotten a lot of attention . . .

But Juanita Broaddrick, who has stated that Bill Clinton, when he was attorney general in Arkansas, the state’s top law-enforcement officer, raped her, went to Twitter to chastise Oprah and her followers.

“According to Oprah on the Golden Globes, everybody has their own truth (and voice). Just not Weinstein’s accusers … oh yeah, and Juantia Broaddrick doesn’t get a voice either,” the site said.

Commented Twitchy: “Awww, look at Oprah with her good buddy, Bill. This is just pathetic. Look up at that picture. That’s why.”

Broaddrick later added: “Remember this @Oprah. You’ve had so many opportunities to bring up my allegations, which have never been discredited. Why??”

What’s the Cause of Increasing Male Infertility? It’s Not Just Soy…

Taking ibuprofen could change a man’s testicular function, including decreasing the production of testosterone, according to a study conducted by Danish and French researchers.

The researchers recruited 31 healthy white men ages 18 to 35 ― the prime age for military personnel ― to participate in the study. Fourteen of them received 600 milligrams of ibuprofen twice a day for six weeks; the rest were given a placebo.

The dosage is on the high end of the recommended dosage per day, and the subjects were given the ibuprofen for a period longer than normal for over-the-counter Ibuprofen. . .

In this study, the researchers found that the use of ibuprofen resulted in a clinical condition called “compensated hypogonadism,” which is prevalent among elderly men and is associated with reproductive and physical disorders. The researchers found that the ibuprofen suppresses the endocrine system, affecting certain testicular cells, including testosterone production. (Read more about male infertility causes in US HERE)

Equality-Preaching Scientologist Elisabeth Moss Called Hypocrite After Golden Globes Speech

Twitter users raged over actress Elisabeth Moss’ speech at the Golden Globes and called her a hypocrite for urging gender equality as a Scientologist.

Moss, who won the Golden Globe award for best actress for her role in “The Handmaid’s Tale,” paraphrased a quote from Margaret Atwood’s book of the same name during her acceptance speech, praising women “who were brave enough to speak out against intolerance and injustice,” according to Fox News.

Twitter users had none of it, however, and published a barrage of posts calling Moss out as a hypocrite in light of her support for and membership in the Church of Scientology, which actively protects members accused of sexual assault or harassment.

“We no longer live in the blank white spaces at the edge of print. We no longer live in the gaps between the stories. We are the story in print, and we are writing the story ourselves,” Moss said, paraphrasing Atwood’s writing.

The Church of Scientology most recently garnered criticism for allegedly protecting actor Danny Masterson, star of “That 70s Show” and “The Ranch,” from several allegations of sexual assault.

Moss normally does not speak about her involvement in the Church of Scientology or about its practices, but recently defended the Church in response to a fan’s question on Instagram, denying that it silences members from seeking outside help like law enforcement and media.

“Question though, does it make you think twice about Scientology? Gilead (the fictional country in the show) and Scientology both believe that all outside sources (aka news) are wrong and evil … it’s just very interesting,” the fan asked, according to Page Six.

“That’s actually not true at all about Scientology. Religious freedom and tolerance and understanding the truth and equal rights for every race, religion and creed are extremely important to me. The most important things to me probably. And so Gilead and ‘THT’ hit me on a very personal level,” Moss responded.

Chris Shelton, a former member of the Church of Scientology and of Sea Org — a legally nonexistent fraternal order of the most dedicated Scientologists — told Fox News that Moss’ portrayal of the Church as tolerant is patently false and that coverups for members accused of sexual assault are par for the course.

“The church works to protect the church first,” Shelton told Fox. “(The Church of Scientology) considers anyone outside the church to be a ‘wog,’ which is a defamatory word describing non-members … It creates an ‘us versus them’ mentality (and tells) members that ‘wogs’ at law enforcement won’t protect them.”

Actress Leah Remini, also a former Scientologist, has also stirred rampant criticism against the religion with her Emmy Award-winning docu-series “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath,” which documents the church’s abusive practices and its harassment of former members. Police Chief Arrested in Child Sex Sting

A Pennsylvania police chief arrested in a child sex sting operation identified himself as a “kutecop4you” in an online ad and allegedly said “everyone has to have a first time” when the phony school girl he was corresponding with told him she was only 14.

“You will just have to get me naked tomorrow,” the chief, Michael William Diebold, who runs the three-man Leechburg Police Department, wrote, according to a criminal complaint obtained Monday by NBC News. “I’m not teasing.” . . .

Now Diebold, who became a local celebrity and the object of great sympathy last year after losing his lower left arm in a fireworks accident, is charged with unlawful contact with a minor and other offenses and was being held on $500,000 bond at the Westmoreland County Prison in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

“This case is particularly heinous because the perpetrator is a public official, sworn to serve and protect the community,” Attorney General Josh Shapiro said. “We have a zero tolerance policy for the sexual abuse of children and my office will prosecute any offender to the fullest extent of the law, no matter who they are.”

Investigators zeroed-in on Diebold on Sept. 15 after he allegedly posted an ad spelling out in no uncertain terms what kind of sex he was looking for — and clearly identified himself as a cop. (Read more from “Police Chief Arrested in Child Sex Sting” HERE)

HIV-Positive School Sports Coach Admits Sexually Abusing 42 Students

By Lucy Pasha-Robinson. A HIV-positive former sports coach has been charged with sexually abusing 42 children, prosecutors said.

Carlos Deangelo Bell, from Maryland, pled guilty to 27 counts, including sexual abuse of a minor, child pornography charges and attempted transmission of HIV, state attorney for Charles County Tony Covington said.

Bell allegedly carried out the offences between May 2015 to June 2017, and victims were aged between 11 and 17-years-old, the court heard.

Of the 42 victims, officials said just 28 have been identified. Police said he sexually assaulted the students without using protection, according to Fox5, but investigators were not aware of any victim having tested positive for HIV.

“You really can’t imagine what had to be gone through when investigating this case,” said Mr Covington, CNN reported, referring to the hours of video that “nobody ever wants to see.” (Read more from “HIV-Positive School Sports Coach Admits Sexually Abusing 42 Students” HERE)

High School Basketball Coach Arrested Over Claims She Slept With Underage Student

By Clark Mindock. A high school basketball coach has been arrested after she allegedly had a sexual relationship with an underage student.

Police reportedly arrested 26-year-old Ann Kuroki Friday night, after a short investigation that began Wednesday.

The authorities launched that investigation after they received a tip that Ms Kuroki had a physical relationship with a male student at the Gooding, Idaho, high school

Ms Kuroki is now the subject of an internal investigation being conducted by the Gooding School District, which terminated her contract Thursday morning, according to reports.

She had previously worked for the district as a so-called “at will” employee, even though police in the town referred to her as a teacher there. (Read more from “High School Basketball Coach Arrested Over Claims She Slept With Underage Student” HERE)

2/3 of Christians Say They’ve Been Spiritually Abused

Two-thirds of respondents to an online survey say that they have been spiritually abused, a study has revealed.

Academics from Bournemouth University, who carried out the survey on behalf of the Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS), a safeguarding charity, received 1591 responses from Christians, 1002 of whom said that they had personally experienced spiritual abuse.

Caution has been expressed about the figures in the survey, whose results form part of the report Understanding Spiritual Abuse in Christian Communities, published on Sunday. A co-author, Justin Humphreys, executive director of safeguarding at CCPAS, said: “Yes, the results are significant, as [being spiritually abused] was not a prerequisite for participation. Having said this, in some ways it is not surprising, as many will have taken this as an opportunity to share their story in anonymous form, possibly for the first time.”

The study also acknowledges that definitions of spiritual abuse are not clear cut, and suggests this lack of clarity may be a significant barrier to responding appropriately to its victims within the Church.

“Existing work around this experience (which is characterised by a systematic pattern of controlling and coercive behaviour in a religious context) is still in its infancy, to the extent that there is not currently universal agreement about this as a term,” it says. George and Barbara Bush Are Celebrating a Milestone Today No Other Presidential Couple Has Ever Reached

Former President George H.W. Bush and his wife, Barbara Pierce Bush, have made history. The couple celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary on Saturday — the latest milestone in what is already the longest marriage in presidential history.

As noted by WTTG, the couple met when George was just 16. At the time, Barbara was on holiday from her boarding school. They dated long distance for several years, then became engaged before George served as a naval pilot during World War II.

After he returned home, the couple got married and eventually moved to Texas with their oldest son, who was named after his father.

George H.W. Bush led a highly successful political career that included two terms in the House of Representatives, in addition to stints as U.N. ambassador, chairman of the Republican National Committee, chief of the U. S. Liaison Office in the People’s Republic of China and director of the CIA.

In 1980, he ran for the GOP presidential nomination, and though he lost to then-candidate Ronald Reagan, he would go on to serve two terms as vice president in the Reagan administration.

In 1988, Bush was elected president, and served in the Oval Office for one term, until he was defeated by Bill Clinton in the 1992 presidential election.

Bush, 93, and his wife, 92, have five children — former President George W. Bush; former Florida Governor John Ellis “Jeb” Bush; fellow sons Marvin and Neil; and daughter Doro.

Another daughter, Robin, died in 1953 of leukemia.

The Bushes also have 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

As The Western Journal reported, it’s not the first time in recent months that George H.W. Bush has made history.

On Nov. 25, 2017, he became the longest-living president in U.S. history, reaching the age of 93 years and 166 days.

He surpassed the previous record held by former President Gerald Ford, who died in December 2006 when he was 93 years and 165 days old.

Bush was born on June 12, 1924.

The former president has led an active life well into his 90s. He went skydiving to celebrate his 90th birthday in 2014.

He celebrated his 93rd birthday by boating with his family.

However, a slew of health complications last year slowed the former president down.

Bush was hospitalized several times in 2017 for chronic pneumonia. (For more from the author of “George and Barbara Bush Are Celebrating a Milestone Today No Other Presidential Couple Has Ever Reached” please click HERE)

Oscars Now Regret Banning Weinstein So Quickly

When Hollywood’s most prestigious organization, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) — the group of nearly 7,000 actors, directors and other industry types who dole out the Oscars — expelled Harvey Weinstein on Oct. 14, audiences applauded. But by acting so swiftly, a mere nine days after the New York Times first reported allegations of sexual assault against the movie producer, the outfit now finds itself facing a dilemma.

Put simply: What to do with the rest of them?

“Harvey opened the floodgates,” said one male Academy member. “Now the Academy’s drowning in a tide of s—t. They don’t know what hit them.”

What hit, of course, were more alleged horror stories about so many other members: Kevin Spacey assaulting multiple young men, Dustin Hoffman sticking his hands in women’s pants, director Brett Ratner forcing himself on actresses. Ben Affleck seen on video groping a female host on “Total Request Live.” Screenwriter James Toback accused of sexual misdeeds by nearly 40 women. (As of this past Tuesday, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said it is considering criminal charges in five cases against Toback. He, Spacey, Hoffman and Ratner, deny the claims against them.) (Read more from “Oscars Now Regret Banning Weinstein So Quickly” HERE)

The 3rd Most Popular Boy’s Name in US State Is Unusual

St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota, came out with its annual list of top 10 most popular baby names for 2017, and No. 3 on the list of boys’ names was a bit of a surprise.

No. 1 – Henry
No. 2 – Liam
No. 3 – Mohamed
No. 4 – Jack
No. 5 – Nolan
No. 6 – William
No. 7 – Jackson
No. 8 – Logan
No. 9 – Wyatt
No. 10 – Grayson

The hospital has been publicizing its top baby names for boys and girls for as long as anyone can remember, but this is the first time the namesake of the Islamic prophet ended up in the top five.

In fact, as recently as 2013 the hospital published a list of its “Top 20” most popular baby names, and Mohamed was nowhere to be found . . .

The vast majority of Muslims in Minnesota are refugees from Somalia, and the Somalis have large families. Just since 2002, the U.S. State Department, in cooperation with the United Nations, has distributed more than 54,000 Somali refugees into Minnesota cities and towns. This Gym Just Banned Something You’d Never Guess From Their TV – Says It ‘Doesn’t Fit Healthy Lifestyles’

Life Time has scrubbed all-news cable channels from the screens at its fitness centers, saying a growing number of customers think they don’t fit a healthy lifestyle.

The Chanhassen-based company this week dropped CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and CNBC from TVs in front of various workout machines.

While the screens were in view of all in fitness areas, audio could only be heard through earphones.

With a few exceptions, TV screens built into treadmills and other cardio machines also “currently do not have the ability to display these channels,” Life Time spokeswoman Natalie Bushaw said Thursday. However, a second phase in this viewing shift, to be completed by the end of February, will have all stations available, Bushaw added.

USA, A&E, Discovery, HGTV, the local over-the-air stations and ESPN are all that remain on the visual menu of distractions while sweating off the caloric consequences of the holidays.
