Students Walk Out in Protest of Bathroom Policy Allowing Biological Boys in Girls’ Bathrooms

Students at one Ohio high school walked out of class on Monday in protest of a policy allowing biological boys to use the girls’ bathroom if they identify as transgender.

Starting around noon, dozens of students walked out of Elida High School in northern Ohio just outside Lima, The Lima News reported.

Parents and other members of the community have reportedly been protesting the school’s transgender bathroom policy for months, arguing that allowing biological boys to use the girls’ bathroom infringes on the privacy of female students.

“We’re upset about biological boys in the girls’ bathroom,” said one freshman girl who walked out on Monday. “The school board hasn’t been listening.”

“There’s been multiple accounts of boys coming in the bathroom, or transgender girls, and bothering the girls in there and we’re just not for it,” the freshman girl told WLIO. “Biological boys need to stay in their own bathroom.” (Read more from “Students Walk Out in Protest of Bathroom Policy Allowing Biological Boys in Girls’ Bathrooms” HERE)

Female Student Athlete Seriously Injured in Field Hockey Game Involving Male Player: Reports

A female student-athlete reportedly had two of her teeth knocked out during a high school field hockey game last week after a shot struck by an opposing male player deflected off a teammate’s stick and caused the facial injury.

According to reports, the incident happened during the first round of the field hockey state playoffs between two Massachusetts high schools — Dighton-Rehoboth and Swampscott — on Thursday.

Dighton-Rehoboth Superintendent Bill Runey wrote a letter to families reported by local media, saying a male athlete on the Swampscott girls’ field hockey team took a shot that left “significant facial and dental injuries” to one of the team’s female athletes, which required hospitalization.

“When I stepped onto that bus last night when our girls got back to Regional Road, what I saw on their eyes was trauma,” Runey told a local NBC News channel. (Read more from “Female Student Athlete Seriously Injured in Field Hockey Game Involving Male Player: Reports” HERE)

‘He Took Our Boy’: Family of Hockey Star Killed Mid-Game ‘Absolutely’ Seeking ‘Justice’ and ‘Complete Investigation’

The family of now-deceased hockey star Adam Johnson wants answers.

The 29-year-old Johnson was playing for the Nottingham Panthers of Britain’s Elite Ice Hockey League when a member of the opposing team, Matt Petgrave, appeared to swing his skate up during a collision with Johnson, severing the carotid artery in Johnson’s throat, according to Yorkshire Live.

Johnson, who previously played for the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins, collapsed and was rushed to a local hospital, where he ultimately died, per the outlet.

Shock from the incident reverberated through the sporting world, with many — including members of Johnson’s own family — speculating about Petgrave’s intentions. His aunt, Keri Johnson, called for a full investigation into Adam’s death and described Petgrave’s actions as “reckless,” according to Yorkshire Live. ‘Glamour’ Names Transgender Model as ‘2023 Woman of the Year’

Glamour magazine has named a male-born transgender model as one of its 2023 Women of the Year awardees.

The magazine named Philippines model Geena Rocero as one of its seven women of the year picks in its November 1 announcement.

In its retrospective of Rocero’s career, it is revealed that the Filipino model got started when an adult drag queen groomed a then 15-year-old Rocero for a stage career.

Drag performer Tigerlily Garcia Temporosa, who is described as a “mentor and community mother,” praised Rocero as a “rising star” as a young teen.

“At 15 years old she took the highest titles here in the national pageant,” Temporosa enthused. “I [was] so proud and so happy. A lot of good transgender [competitors] wanted me to handle them, at that time, with Geena rising as a promising star.”

Poll: Homeschooling Continues to Rise Dramatically

Homeschooling has become America’s fastest-growing form of education and continues to explode in popularity long after pandemic-era remote learning has ended, a new Washington Post analysis shows.

The dramatic rise in homeschooling that began during the pandemic continued through the school year that ended this past spring, according to the Post’s analysis, which looked at data from nearly 7,000 school districts across the country.

Homeschooling’s continued popularity flies in the face of predictions that most families would go back to in-person classes at schools once controversial pandemic restrictions like mask mandates ended. Another concern parents had after the pandemic is learning loss in public schools, which may also be driving some families to homeschool.

“Home schooling’s surging popularity crosses every measurable line of politics, geography and demographics,” the Post’s analysis stated.

The analysis looked at data from 32 states and the District of Columbia, which represent more than 60% of school-age children. The data is incomplete because some states do not have reliable tallies of homeschoolers, and 11 states, including Texas, Michigan, Connecticut, and Illinois, do not require families to notify the state when they decide to homeschool. Mother, Son Charged With Kidnapping Over Minor’s Out-of-State Abortion

An 18-year-old man and his mother have been arrested after police said he raped a 15-year-old girl and took her across state lines for an abortion.

According to the Idaho State Journal, Kadyn Leo Swainston, 18, and his mother, Rachael Swainston, of Pocatello, were each charged with several felony crimes following an investigation that began in June.

ISJ noted that Kadyn Swainston has been charged with rape, second-degree kidnapping and three counts of producing child sexually exploitative material. Rachael Swainston has been charged with second-degree kidnapping, trafficking in methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a controlled substance – one each for possessing fentanyl and psychedelic mushrooms — and one count of harboring a wanted felon.

Reportedly, the investigation started in June when the 15-year-old girl’s mother contacted authorities to report that her child had been raped. Additionally, the mother claimed that her child was taken to Bend, Oregon for an abortion without her permission. Teacher on Leave After Allegedly Saying ‘Hail Satan’ to Students While Waving Pitchfork Over Their Head (VIDEO)

A public high school teacher in Mesa, Arizona, is on paid administrative leave after allegedly donning devil horns and saying “hail Satan” to students while waving a pitchfork over their heads as they entered the classroom. . .

Sophomore Nathaniel Hamlet told KPNX-TV he walked into his Mesa High School class last Wednesday and noticed his teacher wearing devil horns and carrying a pitchfork.

Hamlet alleged to the station that his teacher proceeded to wave the pitchfork over students’ heads as they entered the classroom and said “hail Satan” to them. . .

But it got personal for Hamlet — a Christian — particularly when he said his teacher kept up the routine with him even after he told the teacher to stop, the station noted.

“I said, ‘Don’t do that to me,’ and I pushed [the pitchfork] away, maybe three or four times, and he still said it and still did it,” Hamlet recounted to KPNX.

‘Angels, Demons, Spirits and Souls Do Exist,’ Says Exorcist Priest Who Warns Against Ouija Board Use

Ouija boards and other attempts to converse with the dead are spiritually dangerous practices that should not be viewed as innocent fun, an exorcist priest told Fox News Digital.

“We too often forget that there is much more to this world than meets the eye,” Fr. Dan Reehil told Fox News Digital. “Angels, demons, spirits and souls do exist and they can have an impact on our life.”

. . .”The very action of using [the Ouija board] has profound spiritual consequences [that are] beyond our control,” he said.

Perhaps the most famous instance of purported demonic possession connected to Ouija board usage was the case of “Roland Doe,” a young teenage boy from Maryland, who underwent numerous major exorcisms in 1949, said Reehil.

Doe’s story was adapted into the 1971 book “The Exorcist” by William Peter Blatty, which was then made into the 1973 movie starring Ellen Burstyn and Linda Blair. (Read more from “‘Angels, Demons, Spirits and Souls Do Exist,’ Says Exorcist Priest Who Warns Against Ouija Board Use” HERE)

Parents Stunned After Restaurant Hits Them With This $50 Surcharge

A Georgia restaurant has found itself at the center of a viral controversy after a couple complained about being hit with a $50 surcharge at the establishment for their children’s alleged “loud” behavior.

A Reddit post showing Toccoa Riverside Restaurant’s posted rules blew up last week, with thousands of commenters stunned at the strict gratuity requirements. . .

After dessert, some of the parents took their children down to the water near the restaurant, Landmann recounted. That’s when Toccoa’s owner, Tim Richter, approached their table to allegedly berate the adults for their parenting skills.

“He has the menu in hand and he’s showing us where it talks about the fee,” Landmann recalls. “At first I thought he was gonna compliment us and be like, ‘But you won’t be charged because your kids were so well-behaved.’”

However, Richter informed them of an extra $50 charge and apparently yelled at them. (Read more from “Parents Stunned After Restaurant Hits Them With This $50 Surcharge” HERE)

Church Hosts ‘Drag Gospel Worship’ Service Amid Governor’s Ongoing Battle Against Drag for Kids

Allendale United Methodist Church (AUMC) in St. Petersburg, Florida, hosted a “drag worship” service Sunday amid an ongoing battle in the state over drag shows for kids.

Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law in May that authorizes the government to fine or suspend the licenses of businesses that violate a prohibition against drag shows with children present. In October, an appeals court barred the law from taking effect, citing first amendment concerns. Florida has asked the Supreme Court to reinstate the ban, saying the injunction, “exceeded the district court’s remedial authority.”

The “Drag Gospel Worship” featured several drag queens, including one who appeared to be dressed up as Jesus Christ, according to video of the service. One drag queen featured in the service, known as “Momma Ashley Rose,” founded the Rose Dynasty Foundation, which raises money for charities with an LGBT focus through “variety shows, carnivals, and children’s shows.”

“Drag, as an art form, is a grand celebration of human creativity and diversity. It embodies the qualities of love, grace, and acceptance that we, as a community, are striving to manifest,” an AUMC program reads. “It’s an unapologetic proclamation that everyone is deserving of love and a place in this world. This display of resilience and courage is an expression of our commitment to honor the sacred worth of all people — regardless of race, sexuality, gender, or background.” (Read more from “Church Hosts ‘Drag Gospel Worship’ Service Amid Governor’s Ongoing Battle Against Drag for Kids” HERE)
