Prosecuted Florist: ‘This Isn’t Real to Me’

The 72-year-old florist being persecuted by LGBT activists and the state of Washington told LifeSiteNews that the institutional campaign against her “isn’t real to me.”

“I waited on Rob for years,” Barronelle Stutzman said, referring to the gay former customer who sued her for refusing to participate in his “wedding” to a man, shortly after speaking at the American Family Association’s luncheon at the annual Values Voters Summit. “He would come in and pick out unusual and different vases, and he’d just say, ‘Just do your thing, this is for Kurt’s birthday,’ or whatever, and I loved it because I got to get out of the box and make him something special. We had a great relationship. I really miss him.”

Stutzman said she never expected prosecution from the state, which her attorney later told LifeSiteNews could bankrupt her and cause her to lose her business. “Rob and I had been friends, as I said, for years,” explains Stutzman. “And when Rob left, I hugged him – before he left, we talked about his marriage, and why he was getting married. I told him about three other florists who could do his wedding, and we hugged, and he left, and we were fine – until the attorney general and the ACLU jumped on board.”

“I’m still a small businessperson,” says the soft-spoken grandmother. “This isn’t real to me. I still go to work. The store’s still open; I have a great manager and a great crew that take care of things while I’m gone, but I still go back and go to work, and do my job.”

“I spoke about our freedoms” at the luncheon, says Stutzman, “and about Rob and Kurt and our relationship. I talked about how God’s promises are faithful, and that Christ gave His life for us, and what are we going to give for Him? And if everybody stands behind me, not behind me, and we be silent, then we have nothing left to fight for.” (Read more from “Prosecuted Florist: ‘This Isn’t Real to Me'” HERE)

Doctor Expelled From Hospital for Exposing Truth About Homosexuality

A Harvard-affiliated hospital reportedly expelled a popular doctor after he voiced his religious beliefs about homosexuality.

Dr. Paul Church, who had admitting privileges at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, was told his position on homosexuality constituted as “discrimination,” “harassment,” and “unprofessional conduct,” and that Bible verses regarding homosexuality are similarly “offensive” and discriminatory.

“Dr. Church was censured and subjected to disciplinary action for stating an objection on medical and religious grounds to the promotion of homosexuality,” says Richard Mast, a Liberty Counsel attorney representing Church.

Mast confirmed Church received a letter from the hospital, assessed the letter and exercised his rights under the bylaws for admission purposes. Though the hospital had handed down the expulsion in March, Church was denied an appeal in early September . . .

“The evidence is irrefutable that behaviors common within the homosexual community are unhealthy and high risk for a host of serious medical consequences, including STD’s, HIV and AIDS, anal cancer, hepatitis, parasitic intestinal infections, and psychiatric disorders,” Church reportedly wrote. Here’s Why the Progressive Left Keeps Sticking up for Pedophiles

By Milo Yiannopoulos. Recently, Salon gave a platform to a self-confessed pedophile to explain his urges in sympathetic terms. “I’m a Pedophile, But Not A Monster” reads the headline. It’s a long, self-pitying screed that ends with a call to be “understanding and supportive” of adults who crave sexual intimacy with children.

Forgive me if I’m not first to start the standing ovation. In fact I’m pretty sure most people will find the existence on Salon’s website of this post both shocking and distasteful.

The timing of Nickerson’s post, barely a week after multiple high-profile progressives rallied around progressive activist Sarah Nyberg, couldn’t be more suspect. Over the past two weeks, an alarming number of left-leaning commentators have rallied around the self-confessed transsexual pedophile and progressive activist who defended white nationalism.

In other words, progressives who got fired up about whether green and purple was a “rapey” colour scheme were suddenly fine with discussion of incestuous pedophilia from a 22-year-old in a chat room full of teenagers. It has been a somewhat grotesque spectacle to watch.

But these two incidents are merely just the latest in a disturbing trend of pedophilia activism on the Left, which has gone out on a limb time and time again to normalise child abuse. From the 1970s to the present day, organised pedophilia has been a recurring problem for the supposedly progressive movement. Raid of Rentboy.com by Homeland Security Stirs Anger

By Tom Hays. Starting with the name, there was never anything discreet about the website Rentboy.com.

The successful site operated for nearly 20 years in an open and racy way, with male escorts paying for ads to attract new – mainly male – customers. That came to an abrupt end last month when federal agents raided Rentboy’s Manhattan offices and arrested chief executive Jeffrey Hurant and six others on charges of promoting prostitution.

The takedown of the popular website was led by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, prompting protests accusing federal authorities of anti-gay bias and raising questions about why they would single out Rentboy when other escort websites, gay and straight, continue to do business. Miracle: How Jaxon, the Baby Given Days to Live When He Was Born With Most of His Skull Missing, Has Defied the Odds

Born with most of his brain and skull missing, baby Jaxon Emmett Buell was not expected to live. In fact his parents had been told to abort him when doctors discovered his condition.

But he has defied all odds – and now he has just celebrated his first birthday.

Baby Jaxon’s devout Christian parents, Brandon and Brittany Buell, were told by doctors that he had an extreme brain malformation, which meant he would probably not survive the pregnancy.

But Jax Strong – a nickname he has earned on social media – is now one years old. His inspirational story has captivated families across the U.S., with nearly 90,000 people ‘liking’ his page on Facebook and 18,000 people sharing his story.

Jaxon was diagnosed as having Anencephaly, a neural tube birth defect in which a child is born without parts of the brain and skull, but doctors were still unsure of how severe his condition would be. No Surprise: Mitch McConnell Has Funded the Abortion Industry for Years

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) wants you to think he opposes the effort to defund Planned Parenthood in the continuing resolution (CR) because it could cause a government shutdown.

He also wants you to think it’s because he doesn’t have 60 votes in the Senate when in fact it only takes 41 votes to filibuster funding for the organization . . .

Here are the facts that he doesn’t want you to know:

(1) In 1992, McConnell voted to allow taxpayer-funded research using body parts from aborted babies . . .

(2) Also in 1992, McConnell voted to overturn the so-called “Reagan Rule” that prohibited Planned Parenthood from using taxpayer dollars for pro-abortion counseling.

Revenge: Obama BLOCKS Teenage Black Conservative on Twitter for Doing This [+video]

Now who’s being the child?

Conservative YouTube sensation CJ Pearson, a 13-year-old black middle schooler from Georgia, revealed today that he’s been blocked from following President Obama on Twitter. He’s also unable to view the president’s tweets.

“It’s an honor,” Pearson tells The American Mirror, insisting he did nothing to warrant being blocked, except his most recent video released last week.

In the video, he accuses the president of playing politics with the Texas student who was suspended for bringing a clock to school that appeared to be a bomb. (Read more from “Revenge: Obama BLOCKS Teenage Black Conservative on Twitter for Doing This” HERE)

Iraq War Veteran Criticizing Black Lives Matter Movement Stirs Controversy

UK - Candle Light Vigil for Michael Brown at US Embassy in LondonAn Iraq War veteran has found himself in a First Amendment battle after taking on the Black Lives Matter movement in his role as a college newspaper columnist.

Bryan Stascavage, a 30-year-old Wesleyan University student who served two tours in Iraq, penned an op-ed in the school newspaper that criticized the Black Lives Matter movement for creating an environment he believes advocates violence by spreading anti-cop hatred, and questioned the movement’s legitimacy.

“Is the movement itself actually achieving anything positive?” Stascavage wrote in his op-ed, “Why Black Lives Matter Isn’t What You Think,” published Sept. 14 in the Wesleyan Argus.

“It boils down to this for me: If vilification and denigration of the police force continues to be a significant portion of Black Lives Matter’s message, then I will not support the movement, I cannot support the movement. And many Americans feel the same,” Stascavage wrote.

“Is it worth another riot that destroys a downtown district? Another death, another massacre? At what point will Black Lives Matter go back to the drawing table and rethink how they are approaching the problem?” he questioned. School District Implements Iris Scanners on Buses After Student’s Death

IritransThe Antelope Valley Schools Transportation Agency is using biometric iris scanners on special needs buses to prevent tragedies like the recent death of an autistic student who was abandoned on his school bus.

Hun Joon “Paul” Lee, a 19-year-old autistic student, was left on a contracted school bus in a district parking lot for hours Sept. 11, when he was found unresponsive laying in the aisle. A substitute driver picked him up at 8:30 a.m. and his parents believe he never got off the bus. Lee’s mother realized something was wrong when his bus didn’t arrive after school, NBC Los Angeles reports.

The nearby Antelope Valley Transportation Agency, meanwhile, is conducting a pilot program with iris scanners on special needs buses in hopes of preventing a similar tragedy from occurring in that district.

“Students will biometrically (iris) scan identity as the board and exit the school bus,” according to a Monday press release. “The IRITRANS system will notify the driver visibly and audibly if the child is about to get on or off at the wrong bus stop. When the bus reaches the end of its daily route, the driver simply ends the route on the IRITRANS mobile device and if all students have not exited the bus, the device will notify the driver both visually and audibly to recheck the bus.”

“Lost or sleeping kids. It happens every year in most school districts nationally only we rarely hear about it,” IRITRAK president John DeVries said. “Kids left sleeping on a bus is at epidemic proportions nationally.” (Read more from “School District Implements Iris Scanners on Buses After Student’s Death” HERE)
