Drag Queen Recruited by School District to Serve as Crossing Guard

On Wednesday, Denver Public Schools recruited a celebrity drag queen to serve as a crossing guard for the day.

Dixie Krystals, a drag entertainer for over 20 years, was brought on by the school district to attend a “Walk and Roll to School” day, according to the district’s social media post.

Krystals previously appeared on the Discovery+ show “Generation Drag,” which followed the lives of five teenagers as they prepared for a drag show performance.

Krystals was just one of the celebrities the school district enlisted to assist with crossing guard duties for the day in honor of Pedestrian Safety Month. Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero and Democratic Colorado Senator John Hickenlooper also attended the event.

Huh? Boston Globe Contributor Says She Had Her First Abortion at Age 11 Despite Never Being Pregnant

A contributor for the Boston Globe said in a recent article that she had her first abortion at the age of 11, despite having never been pregnant.

“I had my first abortion when I was 11 years old, and another five or six between the ages of 12 and 21. I have Vascular Ehlers-Danlos, an extremely rare genetic connective tissue disorder, one symptom of which is frequent and potentially fatal bleeding. The abortions were my treatment,” wrote Lora-Ellen McKinney.

“I have never been pregnant.”

. . .“Were I a young girl in most of the United States today, there would likely not be a pediatric gynecologist to treat my unusual, specific, and critical medical needs,” McKinney alleges. “Nor would I be allowed the procedures required to keep my challenged uterus healthy. This is because my treatments as dictated by doctors have now been politicized and miscast as something they are not.” . . .

Despite McKinney’s insistence that she would have simply died had she needed the procedure currently in the wake of Roe v. Christian Teacher Fired for Refusing to Read LGBT Books to Kids Fights Back

A California childcare teacher sued her former employer last week after she was allegedly terminated and mistreated because of her religious objection to reading books to children featuring same-sex couples.

Nelli Parisenkova, who is being represented by lawyers with the Thomas More Society, worked four years at Bright Horizons Children’s Center in Studio City and cared for children aged five and younger, according to the complaint she filed Thursday in the Superior Court of California.

The lawsuit claims Parisenkova was aware of such LGBT-themed material at the Studio City location of the largest childcare company in the U.S., but at first had not been required to read them. Founded in 1986, Bright Horizons has hundreds of locations worldwide and employs more than 26,000 people.

Parisenkova’s situation changed in April when Katy Callas, who serves as director of the location, learned of Parisenkova’s religious objections to the material, refused her request for a religious accommodation and ultimately created a hostile work environment that led to her termination, according to the complaint.

Yahoo! Finance: We Could Ease Diaper Shortage if Pregnancy Centers Would Quit Convincing Women to Keep Their Babies

Yahoo! Finance not only thinks that killing off babies in the womb is a solution for diaper poverty in the U.S. but also says Americans’ nappy woes should be blamed on pregnancy centers.

With the headline “America is facing a diaper crisis, and the anti-abortion movement is making it worse,” the article’s author, Senior Editor Sandra Salathe, alleges that “Roughly one-third of U.S. families are unable to afford diapers necessary to keep their babies dry and clean.”

Salathe neglects to mention that diaper prices, among other baby items such as formula, have been severely impacted by climbing inflation and the ongoing supply chain crisis under President Joe Biden. Instead, she says that pregnancy centers are somehow responsible for the “physical,” “mental,” and “economic” stress that families endure trying to keep their babies diapered.

“The coronavirus pandemic has played a heavy role in this crisis, and as households seek help from nonprofit organizations, anti-abortion centers (AACs) may be misrepresenting the extent of their services,” Salathe writes.

Using information fed to her by the leftist, pro-abortion activist group Equity Forward, Salathe amplifies claims that Heartbeat International, a Christian network of pro-life resource organizations, and the more than 3,000 lifesaving pregnancy centers in the U.S. are using their donations and public funding to pay for the upkeep of their services instead of helping vulnerable members of their community. Why Are Liberal Women So Unhappy?

Times are tough out there for liberals, especially women. According to the 2022 American Family Survey, no demographic is unhappier and less satisfied with their mental health than liberal women.

Over 30% of conservative men and women said they were “completely satisfied” with their lives, compared to just 20% of liberal men and 15% of liberal women. The gap between liberals and conservatives was even wider on mental health. Over 35% of conservative men and women said they were completely satisfied with their mental health, compared to, again, just 20% of liberal men and 15% of liberal women.

Looking to explain why liberal women are so unhappy, National Marriage Project Director Brad Wilcox notes that no demographic is happier with their family life than conservative women. Over 60% of conservative women say they are completely satisfied with their family life, compared to 50% of conservative men and just 35% of liberal women. YouTube Slaps Dehumanizing Pro-Abortion ‘Context’ Onto Pro-Life Videos

Google-owned YouTube has been flexing its censorship muscles against conservative voices for a while, but the Big Tech company’s tactics just got even worse: Now, tacked onto the posts of pro-lifers, YouTube is directing users to pro-abortion information.

This means that life-affirming videos — such as those that tell the truth about the grisly details of abortion, share deeply held Catholic beliefs on the sanctity of life, and discuss alternatives to abortion, such as the life-saving pregnancy centers Democrats have slandered — will now have links slapped onto their videos that direct viewers to the pro-abortion talking points they’re advocating against. YouTube is following its predictable partisan pattern, using the cover of “misinformation” and “context” to dehumanize unborn human lives.

YouTube’s purported “context” accompanying the videos reads “abortion health information,” with a definition from the National Library of Medicine (NLM): “An abortion is a procedure to end a pregnancy. It uses medicine or surgery to remove the embryo or fetus and placenta from the uterus. The procedure is done by a licensed healthcare professional.” And though YouTube hides behind the cover of medical “experts” at the NLM, like it did when it censored Covid-19 dissenters, it’s notable that NLM is just another hub of progressive federal government bureaucrats within the National Institutes of Health that plugs abortion and has reportedly published thousands of papers on “racism and medicine.”

YouTube’s “context” disclaimer also includes a link to the NLM’s abortion informational page, which suggests ways to abort a child: “medication abortion” or “procedural abortion.” The former is a chemically induced abortion in the first trimester, during which time babies’ limbs, skeletons, and major organs are fully developing, their hearts are beating strong, and they can taste and feel pain. In this type of abortion, the mother takes a pill that blocks nourishment and blood from the unborn baby, which kills it. The mother then takes a second pill to cause contractions and severe cramping and bleeding, leading to the delivery of her dead child. Breast Cancer Is a Serious Medical Condition, Not a Free Transgender Operation

For nearly four decades, the country has recognized October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sadly, this year we must draw attention to how activists and even some medical professionals are exploiting the complex disease. Breast cancer treatment is the latest medical field to be “queered.”

It may sound astonishing, even unbelievable, but to certain more extreme transgender individuals out there, breast cancer represents not a tragedy, as for most women, but an outright opportunity to embrace personal change. Breast cancer becomes reconfigured as the body’s way of rejecting unwanted female breasts in the only way a repressive heteronormative medical hierarchy will allow.

One online chatroom featured testimony from a female transitioner who now purports to be a male named Mike, who praised the “silver lining” of cancer as facilitating not only the removal of her breasts but also, due to related medical reasons, necessitating a full hysterectomy. As such, “I’d say that someone with a great deal of power wants very much for me to be, or at least to look like, a man.” Cancer seems a very strange thing to be thanking God for.

For some so-called “Flat Activists,” “the male gaze shapes breast cancer care,” and reveals “the deep roots of misogyny” in the medical profession. As “the queer community” are more comfortable with magical thinking along the lines of men not necessarily needing penises or women needing vaginas, it naturally follows that breastless females are simply yet another positive manifestation of androgyny, even if said breasts have been surgically removed due to extreme illness. It appears that being transgender is an active advantage for the truly enlightened cancer patient, who will cope with her diagnosis far better than a straight woman ever could. Children’s Hospital Gender Clinic Guide to ‘Safe Tucking’ Passed Out

A guide to “safe tucking,” produced by the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, was passed out at the Burbank Pride Parade.

The guide included diagrams that depicted “tucking” a practice used by those who identify as transgender that “makes the genital area look smoother and flatter” by “moving the penis, testicles, or both out of the way.”

The guide includes a “note on the words we use,” remarking “this information uses the words ‘penis,’ ‘scrotum,’ and ‘testicles.’ We know you may not use those terms or identify with them.” It goes on to say, “We use them … while understanding those words are not for everyone.”

One page of the guide includes diagrams, which both describe and depict how men can tuck by “putting your testicles inside your body.”

The guide was produced by the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, which is located in Portland, Oregon. The hospital’s gender clinic also has a guide for chest binding, a practice that involves “wrapping something around your chest to flatten your breasts” in order for a woman to look more masculine. University of Pittsburgh’s Organ Harvester Spotted at Planned Parenthood After Denying Experiments on Aborted Babies

New footage and photographs from pro-life investigative journalists show a Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE) vehicle — a harvesting and tissue procurement company that supplies organs and tissue to the University of Pittsburgh for research — working at a Planned Parenthood facility in the city.

According to a report from the Center for Medical Progress, the CORE vehicle was spotted at the Pittsburgh abortion facility and caught on camera by affiliates of 40 Days for Life. A man wearing an identification badge was seen bringing what appeared to be “specimen bags from the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic and storing them in a cooler inside the CORE vehicle,” which was parked by the abortion mill’s “bubble zone” sidewalk entrance.

The University of Pittsburgh has been previously exposed for using aborted baby body parts for its grisly experiments, “including experiments grafting aborted baby scalps onto mice,” as The Federalist has reported. This study, titled “Development of humanized mouse and rat models with full-thickness human skin and autologous immune cells,” was funded by taxpayers through Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases under the National Institutes of Health.

The university denied these accusations under oath before the Pennsylvania House of Representatives during a 2021 hearing. “The Pitt Biospecimen CORE does not obtain tissue from Planned Parenthood or any other source other than UPMC facilities,” said Dr. Jeremy Rich, the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center’s deputy director of research, during the sworn testimony. Texts Between Hershel Walker’s Abortion Accuser and His Wife Revealed

Georgia Republican Senate hopeful Herschel Walker confirmed he knows the identity of the woman who claims the Republican paid for her abortion while the[y] were dating more than a decade ago, after the woman texted with his wife, Julie Walker, on Friday.

The text message was the first time the woman, who is the mother of one of his four children, mentioned to him or his wife directly that she had had an abortion, Walker told NBC News. It marks the latest twist in a controversy in which Walker, who has fashioned himself as a pro-life candidate and critic of absentee fathers, that has rocked his campaign this week. Walker has denied paying for the woman’s abortion since her story claiming as much went public.

“The first I knew about any of this was when some reporter asked me about an abortion. And I’m like, ‘No, that’s a lie.’ And then I was asked if I paid for an abortion, and I said No. I did not pay for an abortion,” Walker told the outlet. “I’m not saying she did or didn’t have one. I’m saying I don’t know anything about that.”

“Did you know Herschel paid for my abortion the first time? Or that he told me it wasn’t the ‘right time’ to have [current child]?” the woman wrote in the 9:54 a.m. text message to Julie Walker. . .

“This message makes me incredibly sad.
