DHS Sounds Alarm of Violence Against 2 Groups in America Over Roe Ruling

Amid the fierce divide over the leaked opinion indicating the Supreme Court is prepared to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision, the Department of Homeland Security is warning law-enforcement officials of the possibility of violence against members of the Supreme Court and American clergy.

The Washington Free Beacon reported a memo from the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis warns of the “potential for threats to public safety in response to abortion debate.”

“Domestic violence extremists (DVEs) and criminal actors have adopted narratives surrounding abortion rights to encourage violence, likely increasing the threat to government, religious, and reproductive health care personnel and facilities and ideological opponents,” the memo states. Does the Pope Not Support the Pelosi Communion Ban?

CNN anchor Jim Sciutto claimed on Friday that Pope Francis did not support barring pro-abortion politicians like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from receiving Communion in the Catholic Church — but that’s not exactly what Pope Francis has said on the matter.

Sciutto shared an article from the San Francisco Chronicle announcing that Archbishop of San Francisco had banned Pelosi from receiving Communion due to her public advocacy for abortion access.

But Pope Francis did not say that he did not support individual pastors making the decision whether or not to deny access to the sacrament in specific cases — in fact, that’s exactly what he told them they must do.

He addressed the issue last September, telling journalists onboard the Papal plane that Catholics who supported abortion were “outside the community” and that the sacrament of Communion was for those who were “in the community,” or not estranged from it.

He argued that pastors should make those decisions themselves — and was careful to note that it was not about condemnation but about caring for them as parishioners. “And what should the pastor do? He shouldn’t go around condemning. And he must also be a pastor with those who are excommunicated, and be so with God’s style, which is closeness, compassion and tenderness.” (Read more from “Does the Pope Not Support the Pelosi Communion Ban?” HERE)

WH Economic Advisor Won’t Rule Out a Recession

National Economic Council Director Brian Deese would not rule out a possible recession during a Sunday interview on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Host Dana Bash asked whether the U.S. is at risk of falling into a recession.

“There are always risks,” Deese admitted. “Our economy is in a transition from what has been the strongest recovery in modern American history to what can be a period of more stable and resilient growth that works better for families. There’s no doubt we face serious global challenges, inflation first and foremost among them, and it’s hitting families hard. But there’s also no doubt that the United States is in a better position than any other major country around the world to address inflation without giving up all the economic gains that we’ve had.”

Deese said Americans are increasing their savings and paying down debt while businesses are investing into the economy to make his point. (Read more from “WH Economic Advisor Won’t Rule Out a Recession” HERE)

‘What You Don’t Know’: Book for Fifth Graders Lauds AOC, Trashes Religion

A children’s book that reportedly knocks religion and praises Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been distributed to public school libraries, the New York Post reported Saturday.

“What You Don’t Know: A Story of Liberated Childhood,” written by and illustrated by Anastasia Higginbotham, which reportedly appears on a fifth-grade independent reading list, revolves around a black, “queer” boy named Demetrius struggling to fit in at school and church. At one point in the story, Demetrius’ spirit is depicted meeting a character that appears to be Jesus, who tells him that everyone is invited to love and be loved, including an unnamed white man on the page that appears to resemble Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Higginbotham confirms that the character is indeed Sen. McConnell during a book reading on a YouTube video, the New York Post reported.

“That’s Mitch McConnell. And the child wants to know if even Mitch McConnell is invited to love and be loved considering all the harm he is causing,” Higginbotham says in the video.

AOC, along with fellow members of “the Squad,” including Democratic Representatives Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar reportedly appear on a TV as Demetrius watches with his parents later in the book, where its narrator espouses rewriting of rules and resetting world balance.

Gen. Milley Warns West Point Graduates of ‘Significant International Conflict’

Army General Mark Milley warned West Point Cadet graduates to prepare for the increase use of new global weapons technologies and the risk of global conflict in the future.

While speaking at the 2022 commencement ceremony, Milley cautioned a change that is about to happen in the “character of war,” saying “we are facing right now two global powers, China and Russia, each with significant military capabilities, and both who fully intend to change the current rules based order.”

According to Milley, Ukraine’s conflict with Russia and President Joe Biden’s deployment of troops to Somalia will bring on a spike of international conflicts, adding “Russia’s invasion is only teaching that aggression left unanswered only emboldens the aggressor.”

Powers That Be Shovel Fear Porn as Latest Health Crisis Breaks Out

With the COVID pandemic still affecting much of America and the world, officials are now stoking new fears about another health crisis, as President Joe Biden says monkeypox is something to “be concerned about.”

“They haven’t told me the level of exposure yet, but it is something that everybody should be concerned about,” Biden said Sunday at Osan Air Base in South Korea as he boarded Air Force One for a flight to Japan.

“We’re working on it hard to figure out what we do and what vaccine, if any, may be available for it,” he continued. “But it is a concern in the sense that if it were to spread, it’s consequential.”

Monkeypox is a usually mild infectious disease, endemic in parts of West and Central Africa. It’s spread trough close contact, and can be easily contained through hygiene and self-isolation.

The Drudge Report splashed numerous headlines on its front page Sunday, including: “Outbreak explodes” and “Monkeypox spreading through sex?” (Read more from “Powers That Be Shovel Fear Porn as Latest Health Crisis Breaks Out” HERE)

Pentagon Confiscates Foreign Reporter’s Phone During Official Flight

The Pentagon confiscated a foreign reporter’s phone and forbade them from using all electronic devices while traveling with the deputy secretary of defense.

The situation unfolded during Dr. Kathleen Hicks’ flight to Norway on Sunday, which was first reported by Politico.

Before the plane took off, the reporter from Reuters was told of a new rule forbidding foreigners flying in Air Force planes using top secret classifications from using their electronic devices.

Shortly after they took off, a public affairs official asked the reporter to hand over their phone, and was told that they couldn’t use their computer or AirPods, Politico reported citing a person on the trip. Another journalist on the trip, who is a U.S. citizen, did not have to give up their phone. (Read more from “Pentagon Confiscates Foreign Reporter’s Phone During Official Flight” HERE)

Where’s Joe? Biden Has Now Gone 100 Days Without Giving a Media Interview

President Joe Biden on Friday reached a milestone not seen in the recent history of the presidency — 100 consecutive days without conducting a sit-down interview with the media.

The president was last interviewed by a member of the press on Feb. 10, when NBC’s Lester Holt spoke to him ahead of Super Bowl LVI. Since then, Biden has held press conferences and taken questions from individual reporters but has not conducted any extended interviews.

The long gap contradicts Biden’s promises to run a transparent administration, Republican National Committee spokeswoman Emma Vaughn said.

“One hundred days without a press interview underscores how little Biden cares to answer for struggling Americans seeking solutions to the crises he created,” Vaughn said. “This milestone is yet another pitiful mark on Biden’s long list of failures.”

Biden’s interview frequency falls short of his predecessors, with just 23 conducted since taking office. At this point in their tenures, President Donald Trump had taken part in 95 interviews, while President Barack Obama reached a scorching 187 — more than eight times as many as Biden. ‘Elongate’: Musk Responds to Sexual Misconduct Accusation

Elon Musk called a report that he engaged in sexual misconduct on a 2016 flight “utterly untrue” and an attempt to derail his acquisition of Twitter.

In a series of tweets on Friday, the billionaire SpaceX and Tesla CEO called the flight attendant who accused him of sexual misconduct a “liar” and challenged her to provide more evidence to substantiate her claims that he exposed himself to her, which the business tycoon said she will be unable to do because “it never happened.”

“The attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens — this is their standard (despicable) playbook — but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech,” Musk tweeted on Friday.

He called the Business Insider report claiming the flight attendant received a $250,000 settlement from SpaceX over allegations that on a flight in 2016 he exposed his erect penis, rubbed her leg without permission, and attempted to bribe the flight attendant into performing a sexual massage in exchange for a horse a “hit price [sic]” intended to “interfere with the Twitter acquisition.”

Reluctant Witness Devastates Defense Claims In Special Counsel Criminal Case

Former FBI General Counsel James Baker felt responsible for dragging his friend Michael Sussmann “into a maelstrom,” yet remained “100 percent confident” that Sussmann had claimed, when providing Baker the Alfa Bank “intel,” that he was not there “on behalf of any particular client.” Baker’s testimony yesterday in United States v. Sussmann proved devasting to the former Hillary Clinton campaign attorney both in substance and in circumstance.

The indictment charged Sussmann with violating Section 1001 of the federal criminal code by telling Baker he was passing on the Alfa Bank information as a concerned citizen, not on behalf of any client, when in fact Sussmann represented both the Clinton campaign and tech executive Rodney Joffe. Earlier this week, during opening arguments, Sussmann’s legal team told the jury that prosecutors would be unable to establish what Sussmann actually said to Baker and would fail to prove the alleged lie “mattered.”

Yesterday, Baker proved Sussmann’s high-powered Latham and Watkins’ attorneys wrong when the former FBI general counsel testified he was “100 percent confident” that Sussmann had denied acting “on behalf of any particular client” during their September 19, 2016 meeting. “My memory on this point, sitting here today, is clear,” Baker told the jury.

Sussmann made the comments “pretty close to the beginning of the meeting,” Baker explained, noting it was “part of his introduction to the meeting.” Sussmann would go on to provide Baker with two thumb drives and several whitepapers, which Baker said Sussmann explained concerned “an apparent surreptitious communications channel between Alfa-Bank, which he described as being connected to the Kremlin in Russia, and some part of the Trump Organization in the U.S.”

Besides attesting to his 100 percent confidence level in what Sussmann had said, Baker explained to the jury his apparent earlier equivocation about Sussmann’s representations. When asked by lead prosecutor Andrew DeFilippis about his congressional testimony in which he appeared not to remember Sussmann’s statements, Baker told the jury he had not prepared for questions about his meeting with Sussmann and had not refreshed his memory at the time.
