Amid Public Concern About Grooming Kids, American Library Association Picks President Who Pushes ‘Queering’ Libraries

A large organization that drives the training of U.S. librarians and their use of public funds has chosen a self-described “Marxist lesbian” as its next president amid growing concern about libraries actively connecting children to sexually explicit activities and materials.

Emily Drabinski was elected president of the American Library Association last week by the organization’s members. She will take office in July 2023.

ALA’s approximately 54,000 members include librarians, libraries, library graduate schools, members of library boards and associations, and library students. The vast majority of its membership fees, therefore, are provided by taxpayer funds.

Drabinski won with 5,410 votes from such an electorate, compared to her opponent’s 4,622 votes, according to an ALA press release. The election was conducted online.

The interim chief librarian of The Graduate Center at City University of New York (CUNY), where she was previously the “critical pedagogy librarian,” Drabinski posts openly on her Twitter feed in support of sexually exposing children, union-led political strife, socialist politicians, and libraries pushing explicit and far-left material on unwilling taxpayers. Democrats’ Culture War Is Destroying Their Ability To Govern Competently Enough To Fool Voters

New York Times columnist Charles Blow recently claimed to be “truly shocked” by a poll showing President Biden with a 33 percent approval rating. I was shocked, too — how could his approval rating be that high?

Blow, of course, is surprised at Biden’s unpopularity, and worried that the Democrats are stumbling into a bloodbath in the November midterms. Blow is paid to understand and explain politics and culture to his readers. That he is surprised reveals a lot about the bubble he is in. And his meandering analysis of Democrats’ problems illustrates how the ideology making Democrats unpopular is also preventing them from understanding why they are unpopular.

Blow initially blames Biden — for being too much of a “decent man … sober and straightforward” rather than a “showman.” This is a ludicrous assessment of a politician, who, until age caught up with his tongue, was one of D.C.’s preeminent bloviators. Nonetheless, Blow’s ordinary partisan delusion is less interesting than the ideological blind spots revealed when he turns to genuine sources of Biden’s unpopularity, such as “the fear of crime and the pinch of inflation” and that “Republicans are playing heavily into culture war issues.” . . .

Although Blow does not seem to realize it, these issues combine to reinforce voters’ disapproval of Biden. Democratic failures on bread and butter issues such as crime and inflation are related to the culture-war radicalism that has captured their party. Pastor Dishes Real Story Behind Song on Flight That Triggered Ilhan Omar

A song sung aboard an airliner by a team of Christians who had been ministering in Ukraine happened just because they wanted to keep up their hopes for those in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s bull’s-eye.

That’s according to the pastor who led the song, according to a report in the Christian Post.

It was, of course, a video of that chorus that triggered Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, who posted a snarky response about her family having a prayer time aboard an airline.

The video was posted by Pastor Jack Jensz Jr. and has had more than 35 million views – so far.

The Christian Post explained, “The song came on the heels of Jensz and his team being spiritually high because of what they saw God do while serving at the Ukrainian border. County Launches Campaign to Register 16-Year-Olds to Vote

The school board in Broward County, Florida, has joined with the local elections supervisor to launch a voter-registration campaign for 16-year-old students.

Who will be legally allowed to vote when they are 18.

The Gateway Pundit reported Joe Scott, a county elections supervisor, is working with school officials on the project, even though, the publication confirmed, “The 16-year-olds are not eligible to vote for two years.”

“What not just sign them up when they’re 14 or 12?” the commentary suggested.

The promotion is recruiting participants online, with popup messages on local websites.

769 Athletes Collapsed This Year During Competition. What’s Going On?

More than 769 athletes have collapsed on the field during a game from March 2021 to March 2022. The shocking statistic was revealed by One America News Network (OAN), which also found the average age of the athletes who suffered cardiac arrest is just 23 years old.

The unprecedented surge in cardiac arrest and other heart issues among elite athletes coincides with the rollout of COVID-19 jabs. . .

As Pearson Sharp of OAN explained, “These are just two of more than 769 athletes who have collapsed during a game, on the field, over the last year.” He continued:

“How many 23-year-old athletes were collapsing and suffering heart attacks before this year? Do you know any 23-year-old people who had heart attacks before now? And these are just the ones we know about. How many have gone unreported? Nearly 800 athletes — young, fit people in the prime of life — falling down on the field. In fact, 500% more soccer players in the EU are dropping dead from heart attacks than just one year ago.

“Coincidence? When the Pfizer vaccine is known to cause heart inflammation? No. In fact, many doctors treating these players list their injuries and deaths as being directly caused by the vaccine … This is not a coincidence.”

Joe Biden Met With Hunter Biden Business Partner at the White House at LEAST 19 Times

By New York Post. Hunter Biden’s closest business partner made at least 19 visits to the White House and other official locations between 2009 and 2015, including a sitdown with then-Vice President Joe Biden in the West Wing.

Visitor logs from the White House of former President Barack Obama reviewed by The Post cast further doubt over Joe Biden’s claims that he knew nothing of his son’s dealings.

Eric Schwerin met with Vice President Biden on November 17, 2010 in the West Wing, when he was the president of the since-dissolved investment fund Rosemont Seneca Partners.

The logs also reveal that Schwerin met with various close aides of both Joe and Jill Biden at key moments in Hunter’s life when he was striking multi-million dollar deals in foreign countries, including China. Yet President Biden has long insisted he had no involvement in his son’s foreign affairs. “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” he said in 2019.

”Not everyone gets to meet the Vice President of the United States in the White House. The press should be asking why Hunter Biden’s business associates — like Eric Schwerin — had that privilege and were given access to the Obama White House,” said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin). “This is additional evidence that Joe Biden lied when he said he never discussed Hunter’s foreign business dealings. ‘It Reeks of Pay-To-Play’: Joe Biden and His Staff Met With Hunter’s Top Business Partner at the White House Throughout His Vice Presidency, Visitor Logs Reveal

By Daily Mail. Hunter Biden’s top business partner had met with then-vice President Joe Biden in one of 19 visits he made to the White House between 2009 and 2015, according to visitor logs from the Obama administration.

Eric Schwerin, former president of Hunter’s now-dissolved firm Rosemont Seneca, met with Biden on November 17, 2010, just as Hunter was striking multi-million dollar deals abroad, the New York Post reported.

The logs revealed that Schwerin made a total of 19 visits to the White House during Biden’s vice presidency, with nine of those visits including meetings with Biden, members of his staff and members of Jill Biden’s staff.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz, a vocal critic of the Bidens, told the Post that the logs were the latest evidence of Hunter using his father to secure business deals and called on the Bidens to be investigated for corruption.

The Texas National Guardsman Who Presumably Drowned Has Been Identified

The National Guardsman who jumped into the Rio Grande on Friday to save two illegal immigrants and then went missing, has been identified. Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin first published the photos from the soldier’s family Sunday afternoon.

Evans removed his gear before jumping in to save the illegal immigrants, who turned out to be part of a Mexican drug cartel and trafficking operation.

Biden’s Decline Is Obvious to Everyone but the Press

Something is wrong with President Joe Biden, and everyone knows it. . .

On Friday, Biden tried to comment on Florida’s new Parental Rights in Education law and came out with this word salad: “There’s nothing conservative about deciding you’re going to throw Disney out of its present posture because Mickey Mouse? In fact, do you think we should be not be able to say, you know, ‘gay’? I mean, what’s going on here?”

What is going on here, indeed? Is the president OK? He doesn’t seem like it.

On Easter Sunday, a reporter at the White House asked Biden about Afghanistan. As he started answering the question, a staffer in an Easter bunny costume appeared, waving her arms in front of Biden’s face and ushering him along to a different part of the event.

It’s funny, sure, but it’s also kind of scary. Who is really running the show at the White House? The president often makes comments about what he’s “allowed” to say, how many press questions he’s permitted to take and which specific reporters he can call on. Who is making these decisions? Report: Twitter Facing Mounting Pressure From Shareholders to Take Specific Action Over Potential Buyout

Twitter is facing mounting pressure from its shareholders to not allow Elon Musk’s multibillion dollar offer slip away as the company and Musk were reportedly set to meet on Sunday to talk about his offer.

The news comes as Musk has already stated that he will not go higher than his initial $54.20 bid per share, and he recently disclosed that he has $46.5 billion in financing ready to go to buy out the company.

“A concern that Twitter’s board is weighing is that unless it seeks to negotiate a deal with Musk, many shareholders could back him in a tender offer,” Reuters reported. “While the poison pill would prevent Twitter shareholders from tendering their shares, the company is worried that its negotiating hand would weaken considerably if it was shown to be going against the will of many of its investors.”

The company has reportedly shifted gears in regard to Musk’s offer after he disclosed in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing last week that he has the money to back up his offer.

“Twitter had been expected to rebuff the offer, which Mr. Musk made earlier this month without saying how he would pay for it,” The Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday. “But after he disclosed last week that he now has $46.5 billion in financing, Twitter is taking a fresh look at the offer and is more likely than before to seek to negotiate.” (Read more from “Report: Twitter Facing Mounting Pressure From Shareholders to Take Specific Action Over Potential Buyout” HERE)
