Report: FBI Pursued ‘Bulls*** Rumor’ to Spy on Trump Aide

The FBI decision to spy on a former Trump campaign adviser hinged on an unsubstantiated rumor from a Clinton campaign-paid dossier that the Washington Post’s Moscow sources had quickly shot down as “bulls***” and “impossible,” according to emails disclosed last week to a D.C. court hearing the criminal case of a Clinton lawyer accused of lying to the FBI.

Though the FBI presumably had access to better sources than the newspaper, agents did little to verify the rumor that Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page had secretly met with sanctioned Kremlin officials in Moscow. Instead, the bureau pounced on the dossier report the day it received it, immediately plugging the rumor into an application under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to wiretap Page as a suspected Russian agent.

The allegation, peddled to both the press and FBI in the summer of 2016 by Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm hired by Hillary Clinton’s campaign to dig up dirt on Trump during the presidential race, proved to be the linchpin in winning approval for the 2016 warrant, which was renewed three times in 2017 – even though the FBI learned there were serious holes in the story and had failed to independently corroborate it.

The revelations of early media skepticism about the Trump-Russia narrative before journalists embraced it are included in a 62-page batch of emails between Fusion and prominent Beltway reporters released by Special Counsel John Durham, who is scouring the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign for evidence of abuse and criminal wrongdoing.

The documents suggest that some journalists, as keen as they were to report dirt on Trump, were nevertheless more cautious than FBI investigators about embracing hearsay information served up by Clinton agents. The new material also offers a look at the lengths to which those working on Clinton’s behalf went in order to seed the government with unverified rumors about Trump and Russia that amounted to a disinformation campaign. Among those targeted were powerful Democratic members of Congress, including House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who proved to be a willing collaborator. Bidenflation: Trade Deficit Soars Over $100 Billion for the First Time Ever

The U.S. trade deficit rose an astonishing 22 percent in March to $109.8 billion as prices of oil and imported products rose due to soaring inflation, according to data released Friday by the Census Bureau and the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

The trade gap for February was revised up to $89.8 billion, making it the previous record high. January’s figure was $89.23, which was then a record high.

Economists had been expecting the deficit to hit $106.5 billion, according to Econoday.

Imports jumped 10.3 percent in March to a record $351.5 billion. The figures are not adjusted for inflation so much of the gain is likely due to higher prices and not solely caused by an increase in imports. Pro-Abortion Rioters Maim LA Cops

Rioters in Los Angeles attacked police officers Tuesday night, injuring at least two, in the wake of Politico‘s report indicating the Supreme Court is on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade.

Police attempted to disperse a group of pro-abortion protesters when they tried to occupy an intersection, LAPD chief Michel Moore said. At that point, some began to throw rocks and bottles at officers, two of whom were injured in the attack. . .

Members of the crowd engaged in several acts of vandalism Tuesday night, according to CBS Los Angeles. Rioters smashed the front window of a Planet Fitness gym, graffitied the city hall building, and shattered the window of a Homeland Security vehicle that responded to the protest. ‘Catholic’ Biden: Constitution Gives Right to ‘Abort a Child’ — ‘Mainstream’ Religions Agree With Roe v. Wade

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden further reacted to a leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court on Tuesday, criticizing the “radical” argument against a constitutional right to abortion.

“The idea that we’re gonna make a judgment that is going to say that no one can make the judgment to choose to abort a child based on a decision by the Supreme Court I think goes way overboard,” Biden said. . .

During his remarks, Biden falsely claimed that all mainstream religions believe the beginning of human life is open to interpretation.

“Look, think what Roe says. Roe says what all basic mainstream religions have historically concluded — that the right — that the existence of a human life and being is a question. Is it at the moment of conception? Is it six months? Is it six weeks?”

FYI: Overturning Roe v. Wade Does *Not* Outlaw Abortion

By Breitbart. If the Supreme Court does end up overturning Roe v. Wade (which it should), this does not mean abortion will be outlawed.

The corporate media, Hollywood, and Democrats will work overtime to convince you of this, but like everything else that comes from the media, Hollywood, and Democrats, it will be a total lie.

Overturning Roe v. Wade merely does the right thing in putting an end to the insane idea that a woman has a constitutional right to slaughter her unborn child. . .

That’s all overturning Roe v. Wade does.

Biden Admin Silent on Major Natural Gas Pipeline as Energy Prices Soar

The Biden administration has yet to take a public position on a major natural gas pipeline as the project faces an uphill federal permitting battle.

Equitrans Midstream, the energy company that proposed the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) in 2014, delayed the project’s expected completion to late 2023 and said it would pursue new federal permits for a second time, in an earnings report published Tuesday. The project — a 303-mile pipeline that would transport natural gas from West Virginia to Virginia — faced another setback earlier this year after a federal appeals court struck down its Trump-era permits, ruling in favor of environmental groups.

Federal agencies involved in the MVP permitting process didn’t respond to requests for comment or declined to comment altogether, and the White House has yet to intervene in the matter despite soaring energy prices and pleas from a Democratic senator.

“After engaging with the federal agencies and evaluating all options, we believe the best path forward for MVP’s completion is to pursue new permits,” Thomas Karam, the chairman and CEO of Equitrans, said in a statement Tuesday. “To reflect the time required for permit re-issuance and to ensure safe, responsible project construction, we have revised our MVP in-service target to the second half of 2023.”

The total project cost of the pipeline has increased to $6.6 billion, the company added in its earnings report. The MVP pipeline was originally projected to begin operations in 2018 and the total cost has doubled since the project was unveiled, Bloomberg reported. CDC ‘Tracked Millions of Cell Phones’ to See if You Obeyed Lockdowns

The Centers for Disease Control bought location data for tens of millions of Americans’ cell phones to analyze “compliance” with COVID recommendations, targeting people visiting schools and churches, according to a new report.

And then it moved quickly to buy more data, for “general CDC purposes,” explained the report assembled from information obtained by Motherboard and published at Vice.

Writer Joseph Cox explained, “Newly released documents showed the CDC planned to use phone location data to monitor schools and churches, and wanted to use the data for many non-COVID-19 purposes too.”

Said the report, “Location data is information on a device’s location sourced from the phone, which can then show where a person lives, works, and where they went. The sort of data the CDC bought was aggregated—meaning it was designed to follow trends that emerge from the movements of groups of people—but researchers have repeatedly raised concerns with how location data can be deanonymized and used to track specific people.”

‘Egregious’ Leak: Justice Roberts Orders Probe Into Unprecedented Leak of Abortion Draft

Chief Justice John Roberts on Tuesday ordered an investigation into the unprecedented leak of a draft opinion suggesting the Supreme Court is poised to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade case that legalized abortion nationwide.

Roberts slammed the leak as an “egregious breach of trust” in the high court’s first public comment since the draft opinion was published by Politico late Monday.

“Although the document described in yesterday’s reports is authentic, it does not represent a decision by the Court or the final position of any member on the issues in the case,” Roberts said in a statement.

“To the extent this betrayal of the confidences of the Court was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed. The work of the Court will not be affected in any way.”

Republicans Announce Bill to Shut Down DHS ‘Disinformation’ Unit

Republicans announced legislation Tuesday to defund the Homeland Security Department’s new disinformation board, calling it an “un-American” attempt to police what people are allowed to say.

Biden administration officials have rejected those characterizations as overheated. They said the board is an in-house working group to coordinate Homeland Security’s online monitoring.

Those assurances have failed to quell the furor among Republicans, who see more nefarious intentions of the administration, and they are taking their case to the public.

“This is communism,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Georgia Republican, told voters, drawing nods of approval as she campaigned in her district this week. “They don’t want you to have it because they don’t want you to be able to say what you think and feel or sort out the truth yourself.”

Joe Biden Caught Red-Handed Lying About Hunter’s Business Deals; Joe Biden Used Alias of KGB Spy From Tom Clancy Novels, Emails From Hunter’s Laptop Show

You can now officially file President Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken” to his son Hunter about his business activities with his claims that inflation is “transitory” and the border is “under control.”

The Post reported that Joe allegedly agreed to pay more than $800,000 in legal bills Hunter racked up, including bills related to his overseas businesses. This comes on the heels of revelations that Hunter alleged his father was taking half his salary.

It would be literally impossible to set up these arrangements without talking business. So the prez has been outright lying. Just as Hunter’s business partner Tony Bobulinski said months ago.

Want more evidence? Consider The Post’s revelation of the direct sit-down Joe had as veep with another Hunter partner, Eric Schwerin, then serving as president of investment fund Rosemont Seneca Partners.

We still don’t know what they discussed. Or what was said on the (at least) 19 occasions Schwerin visited the White House and other official locations from 2009 to 2015. Asked about these shady details, chief Biden flack Jen Psaki responded: “I don’t have any information on that.” The future MSNBC star doesn’t want to know. Joe Biden Used Alias of KGB Spy From Tom Clancy Novels, Emails From Hunter’s Laptop Show

By New York Post. Joe Biden wrote to his son Hunter and others close to him using the pseudonym “Peter Henderson” – a fictional Soviet Union-era spy in several Tom Clancy novels who infiltrated the US government, emails show.

The messages contained on Hunter’s abandoned laptop appear to indicate the then-VP started using the fictitious mole’s moniker in October 2016 while forwarding a YouTube video to his son Hunter, brother Jim, daughter-in-law Hallie, as well as his sister and longtime political strategist Valerie Biden Owens.

Biden sent the message using an email address with a username of “67stingray” — a clear reference to his beloved 1967 Corvette Stingray.

The name attached to Biden’s “67stingray” account at the time was “Peter Henderson” – which matches the name of the KGB spy in Clancy’s popular Jack Ryan series, according to online fan pages.

Henderson, whose codename was Cassius in Clancy’s realm, worked as a “minor Senate aide” in 1970 before becoming a Russian spy who was later caught by the CIA and turned into a double agent. Ex-Biden Aide Francis Person Went to White House 7 Times After Joining China-Tied Firm

By New York Post. One of Joe Biden’s closest aides as vice president, who later joined a Washington-based firm founded by an executive with ties to China’s Communist Party and did deals with Biden’s son Hunter — visited the White House at least seven times over a two-year period.

Francis Person — better known as “Franny” to the Biden family, whom Jill Biden has said is “like a son” to her and Joe — visited the White House multiple times in 2015 and 2016, including a holiday reception in December 2015 with Chinese executive Bo Zhang, official logs viewed by The Post show.

Person, who left his role as then-Vice President Biden’s personal aide in 2014, went on to work with Hunter Biden and his business partner Eric Schwerin in deals with the Harves Group and later became president of the Washington-based firm.

The linkage between someone so enmeshed at one time in President Biden’s inner circle and his son’s business dealings comes amid fresh scrutiny of what if any knowledge the elder Biden has had of his son’s overseas dealings. ‘Rape Office’: Elon Musk Hammers NBC’s Many Scandals

NBC reporter Mehdi Hasan made some not-so-subtle comments calling Elon Musk a “petulant and not-so-bright billionaire” during a broadcast, to which Musk responded Monday accusing the network of building “Matt Lauer his rape office,” among other brilliant troll-like comments.

Grabien Founder Tom Elliott shared the clip of Hasan discussing Musk on NBC under the caption, “If [the “neo-Nazi faction” of the GOP expands in Nov.], we may look back on this .. as a pivotal moment, when a petulant & not-so-bright billionaire casually bought one of the most influential messaging machines & just handed it to the far-right.”

Musk responded to the Tweet, saying, “NBC basically saying Republicans are Nazis,” and then adding “Same org that covered up Hunter Biden laptop story, had Harvey Weinstein story early & killed it & built Matt Lauer his rape office. Lovely people.” The response received almost 60,000 likes and more than 10,000 retweets in the first hour.
